In last week’s Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills, we learned that Dorit Kemsley has Hermes dinnerware, can cook a mean Moroccan stew, and is definitely not over her beef with Lisa Rinna. Despite having called a truce atop a ferris wheel in Las Vegas, Dorit and Paul (PK) Kemsley’s resentment toward Rinna for accusing their party guests of “doing coke in the bathroom” is not yesterday’s news.
First, Dorit reflects on the strange moments that occurred at her Villa Blanca birthday party, including her son Jagger pointing out the “bad guys” at the table – and Rinna giving an impromptu speech! “Jagger calling Erika [Girardi] and Lisa [Vanderpump] ‘bad guys’ was nothing short of an innocent 3-year-old expressing himself through his imagination, as he was in a phase where he loved superheroes and bad guys. On another note, can we talk about Lisa R standing up and giving a speech at my birthday party? For a second, I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone, but after all I’m grateful that we’re in a more peaceful place now.”
Dorit says she was excited to see Teddi Jo Mellencamp Arroyave ride horses, even if she was ridiculously overdressed for the occasion. She jokes, “When Teddi invited us to her horse competition in San Diego, I couldn’t wait to see her ride and, of course, to take advantage of a fierce Kentucky Derby fashion moment. As soon as we stepped on the dirt, though, I knew Lisa R was right to roll up wearing jeans and cowboy boots. I had no idea a ‘VIP area’ meant we’d be sitting on a picnic table with a blanket thrown over it! Oh well. I still love a chance to dress up.”
Even though she was given some major viewer side eye for allegedly cooking at her own dinner party, Dorit claims that she loves to cook – and has the video evidence to prove it! She explains in her blog, “I love to cook! I grew up watching my mom express her love through food, and I followed in her footsteps. I’m very particular about my table settings, and I believe no dinner party is complete without a divine dinnerware set, like the one I splurged on!”

“I wanted to have a one-on-one dinner with Teddi and Edwin because I’m excited for PK and I to get to know them better,” continues Dorit. “From what I’ve heard Teddi say about her childhood, she’s very humble and down to earth, and those are rare qualities to come by in this town.” Yes, rare indeed. Also rare: British accents on a girls from Connecticut. #JustAThought
But Teddi and Edwin had no idea that Dorit and PK were going to unleash a litany of complaints and accusations against Rinna, who they are obviously still upset with. Dorit justifies their behavior, “Over dinner, I felt comfortable opening up to Teddi about my tribulations with Lisa R. Teddi was clueless as to what transpired between us, and I was merely explaining why I feel I should be cautious as Lisa R and I enter this new phase of our relationship. Still, I’m going into it with an open mind and an optimistic outlook.”
Well, optimistic or not, Teddi doesn’t seem like the type of gal to soldier up just because a scorned Housewife tells her to. Dorit better slow her roll with that one.
Tonight on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: “Lisa Rinna and Erika fly to Tokyo to support Amelia and Delilah‘s latest modeling gig; Dorit agrees to model for Lisa Vanderpump’s magazine; and when the power goes out at Kyle‘s dinner party, the darkness brings out the worst in one housewife.”
