Cynthia Bailey Discusses Noelle & Kairo’s Performance In Her Cargo Fashion Show & Sheree’s Insistence On Compensation

This could have been a rough year for Cynthia Bailey on Real Housewives of Atlanta because of her split with Peter Thomas, but things seem to be going her way. From the vaginal rejuvenation to the new lake house to her new line of bags, Cynthia seems to be doing well for herself.

The only teeny tiny thorn in Cynthia‘s side is Sheree Whitfield channeling her inner Kris Jenner as the momager for her son Kairo Whitfield‘s modeling career. Cynthia generously gave Kairo the opportunity to walk the runway in the first fashion show for her Cargo line of bags and Sheree doesn’t seem the least bit grateful for the exposure. All the momager is focused on is asking for compensation. But then again, those baseboards at Chateau Sheree won’t pay for themselves.

In her latest Bravo blog, Cynthia was asked if she was “surprised when Sheree asked about compensation for Kairo” again. I was really hoping to see Cynthia diss Sheree about her obvious shortage of finances lack of knowledge about the modeling agency, but she didn’t take the bait. All Cynthia did was recap everything she had to go through during her early modeling days.

Cynthia recalled, “When I started my modeling career, I had no experience, and had to go through the development process. I did several modeling jobs, photo shoots, and runway shows for free (or for trade) until I had the experience, confidence, and skill that was required in order for my agency to promote and book me for paid jobs.”

She added, “As a new model in New York City, I was so excited to start living my dream and was grateful for any opportunity to pursue my new career, regardless of compensation.” Which is exactly how it should be. Kairo seemed grateful and cooperative, but his mother…that’s a different story.

Even with Sheree’s thirst for cash desire for success, Cynthia’s show went well. She declared, “I thought my Cargo fashion show was amazing! I loved the venue, the concept, the models, and everyone on my team that helped make the show a success. I was excited to give Kairo the opportunity to walk in his first runway show, and he did a great job. I was happy to support him, and I wish him continued success.”

She also gave a shout out to her daughter Noelle Robinson: “I thought Noelle did an incredible job opening and closing the Cargo fashion show. She is the face of Cargo, and she represented herself and the Cargo brand extremely well. Every time I ask her to step up, she always does it with class and grace.”

Once again, Sheree could take a cue from a teenager when it comes to social grace.

Speaking of Noelle and Kairo, am I the only one who felt chemistry between the two of them? Maybe, I’m just reaching here, but it did seem like they got along well. Cynthia confirmed, “Yes, Noelle and Kairo are friends.” It’s nice to see some people on this show getting along and working together well… for once.

TELL US – DID SHEREE HAVE THE RIGHT TO PUSH FOR COMPENSATION OR DOES SHE NEED TO STEP BACK AS A MANAGER AND LET KAIRO PAY HIS DUES AS A MODEL?
