I think it’s safe to say that The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey is enjoying her single life right now. She’s got a new house, a few different businesses and a successful reality show. She weighs in this week to deny Peter Thomas‘ claims that she didn’t believe in him during their marriage and to share thoughts on the RHOA men staying tight with Apollo Nida.
Cynthia started off sharing that she wasn’t shocked to see that Peter has kept in close contact with Apollo Nida and she’s sure Apollo appreciates it. “I was not surprised to hear that Peter and Apollo kept in touch. I knew that they were in regular communication with each other, but I did not know how frequently they spoke. Apollo, Todd, and Peter are friends. Under the unfortunate circumstances, I would imagine that their friendship and support means the world to him.”
Cynthia has no regrets about the support she gave to Peter. She can rest easy knowing she gave him plenty of examples of how she believed in him. “I always believed in Peter, and I still do. He is the reason I relocated from New York City to Atlanta. Throughout our relationship and marriage, my love, commitment, and support has stood strong. I did the best that I could do, and I am good with that. I am disappointed that Peter feels I didn’t believe in him, because it is absolutely not true.”

On buying the lake house, she says “I named my new lake home Lake Bailey. It is my early birthday gift to myself. Lake Bailey is my sanctuary. My peace. This is the first time in a long time that I did something that was a 100% for me. I am in love!”
