Stevie J still can’t get it together with his child support payments or his addiction issues. After violating probation in his child support case, the judge ordered him to a 30-day in-patient rehab facility in lieu of jail time.

The Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star owes over $1 million in child support and overdue fines and payments for two of his children, and has been battling the government over his negligence.

Yesterday morning, Stevie appeared in a Manhattan courtroom alongside two of his children after testing positive for cocaine on multiple court-ordered drug tests. As Stevie is out on bail awaiting trial, prosecutors pushed for jail time citing that he also did not follow through with court-ordered counseling. Despite his lackluster compliance, the judge still decided to allow Stevie another chance at an in-patient rehab.

After his rehab stay Stevie will be under GPS-monitored house arrest until trial (Dec. 5), and be remanded to an “intense” out-patient treatment rehab. The judge told Stevie this was his last chance and any other violations will result in him heading straight to prison.

Last year, Stevie applied for “deferred prosecution,” which would nullify his outstanding fines in exchange for agreeing to certain terms, but prosecutors successfully blocked that and the case is headed for trial.

Outside the courtroom, Stevie was overheard screaming that he’s a “grown man” to prosecutor Andrew James DeFilipp, who Stevie apparently blames for his situation. “…he’s making allegations that might take me away from my family,” Stevie seethed to The NY Daily News, insisting he only wanted to have a “heart-to-heart” with the attorney. Hmm, for someone who has spent so much time in and out of court, you’d think Stevie would understand how opposing counsel works.

Of his predicament, Stevie is extremely unhappy. “I think its a bunch of bulls—,” he complained. “Of course I’m not OK with it, but it is more or less like confinement to home for what? ’Cause I’m a black tax paying citizen taking care of all his kids?’”

Stevie maintains he isn’t afraid of the government’s case because “I got some things up my sleeve too.”

“It is what it is, I understand the prosecutors are doing their job, but I’m a great father and I take care of my kids,” Stevie told Bossip. “For the record, I provided everything that they needed. I’m happy that my kids won’t let this case affect our relationship.”

Stevie concluded: “Whatever it is, let the courts do what they have to do, but just let me come out the victor that I am.”

Joseline Hernandez, is also currently battling Stevie in court, in a separate case (she is pregnant, but it may or may not be his baby). According to reports neither Stevie nor Joseline will return to L&HH next season. Stevie earned $27,000 per month from the show, plus he receives royalties as the writer and producer of several hit songs – including, ironically, ‘”Mo Money Mo Problems.”

TELL US – DO YOU THINK STEVIE WILL EVER LEARN HIS LESSON? ARE THE PROSECUTORS BEING TOO HARD ON HIM?
