Erika Girardi Calls Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills A Positive Experience; Says Kathryn Edwards Didn’t Want Friendship

It certainly didn’t take long for Erika Girardi, er, Erika Jayne, to figure out that you’re not truly a housewife until you’re hocking a ware. I guess in some sense, she’s been marketing her music (and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has certainly helped her gain new fans), but now you can show your loyalty to the newbie with a shirt that may not be appropriate to wear outside the privacy of your own home.

The pop diva turned reality star is selling one item on her website…a t-shirt emblazoned with her favorite word. If you enjoy enjoy planning ahead and telling folks to See You Next Tuesday, it may be the perfect addition to your wardrobe!

Like her RHOBH counterparts, Erika is the real deal when it comes to wealth. All of the women live in the coveted zip code because they have worked hard. Unlike the other franchises which has increased the bank accounts of ladies and enabled them to do more, these chicks don’t need a Bravo payday. Maybe the extra pennies from the series goes to redecorate the eighteen bathrooms that Lisa Vanderpump never uses in her home, but it’s chump change.

Speaking to Forbes, Erika shares she has been cultivating the persona of Erika Jayne since 2007, and it’s paid off with eight number one singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart. Of her creation, she explains, “I was at a point in my life where I wanted to be creative on my own terms, and still get out there and perform, which is my first love, so, I created Erika Jayne, and we have enjoyed every moment together.”

Of course, joining RHOBH has introduced Erika Jayne to a whole new fan base, increasing Erika’s Twitter and Instagram followers by thousands and thousands of people, as well as significantly boosted her iTunes sales. She believes that being on the show hasn’t been negative in any way. Erika asserts, “Obviously Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reaches a lot of people throughout the world that just so happen to be in my demographic, so it’s been great,” adding, “So far I think it’s only been beneficial. RHOBH has given me the opportunity to introduce Erika Jayne to a larger audience from all over the world.”

Nothing negative, she says? Perhaps Erika is able to let the women’s petty b.s. roll off her back, but after what happened on this week’s episode with fellow newbie Kathryn Edwards, that doesn’t seem to be the case. In her Bravo blog, she addresses the incident, writing, “What I said to Kathryn at my home about Lisa Vanderpump is how I felt and is based upon my in-person observations of her behavior. Let’s see if Lisa will take my opinion like the man that she claims to be. Something tells me she probably won’t.”

Although Kathryn has since admitted to handling the situation poorly, Erika reveals, “After watching this episode, I have the feeling that Kathryn had no intent to be my friend, and by the look on her face, I can tell she is very excited to tell everyone at the table about her visit.”

Erika continues, “I am somewhat disappointed but not surprised by her behavior. I do wonder why someone would come to another person’s home, tell them they want to be a genuine friend, and then act in a disloyal and untrustworthy way. Maybe she needed something to talk about and to try to ingratiate herself with Lisa Vanderpump,” concluding, “Either way, I will pass on this ‘genuine friendship.’ I guess my ‘six tears’ weren’t enough for you…”

Perhaps Erika should gift Kathryn with a t-shirt and let bygones be bygones?
