Kelly Dodd Refers To Vicki Gunvalson As A “Pig” & Steve Lodge As A “Douche Bag”

Kelly Dodd

Kelly Dodd

At this point, it looks like Kelly Dodd and Vicki Gunvalson will be on opposite couches during the next Real Housewives of Orange County reunion (and the new season hasn’t even started).

Kelly went from being Vicki’s most loyal friend in the cast to dragging Vicki and boyfriend Steve Lodge on Twitter.

News broke last week that Vicki and Steve set up Kelly’s ex Michael Dodd with his new girlfriend. Not only that, but apparently this woman used to be friends with Kelly as well.

Obviously Kelly was unhappy about that since she tweeted (and then later deleted) “Steve Lodge is a douche bag along with his pig of a GF!! And I am 42 years old not 44 years old!”

Kelly Dodd Refers To Vicki Gunvalson As A “Pig” & Steve Lodge As A “Douche Bag”

Maybe Kelly regrets what she tweeted and that’s why she took it down. Or maybe she got in trouble for spoiling a future story line. Either way, it sounds like the alliances have shifted within the cast and Kelly is going to be gunning for Vicki this year.

Four Things Big Brother 20 Should Take From Celebrity Big Brother

Celebrity Big Brother was one of our favorite seasons of the show in awhile. It balanced entertainment and gameplay so effortlessly. We had blindsides, feuds, and crazy characters. It wasn’t at the level of classic Big Brother (Season 1-10), but it was one of the best latter seasons versions.

Celebrity Big Brother Promo Pic

Everyone has their own reasons why this season worked so well. Some thought it was the lack of showmances, others praised the people that they cast this season, and many credited the older cast as being a huge factor in Celebrity Big Brother’s success.

We agree that all those things helped make Celebrity Big Brother  so enjoyable, but we think the following four reasons are why the series worked so much.

Diversity

We’re not just talking about racial diversity, but in all aspects. We didn’t have the typical model-type, we had people who were celebrities but also looked like average human beings. This might change the way the CBS team cast, and we may see a more diverse looking cast in the future.

We also had diversity in character archetypes. The celebrities took their stereotypical Big Brother characters (rat floater, comp beast, emotional wreck, etc.), and added a new spin to it. Shannon Elizabeth wasn’t just a Vanessa Rousso character, she also had elements of Steve Moses. Ross Mathews isn’t just Andy Herren, but a very sloppy Derrick Levasseur.

Shorter Season

Celebrity Big Brother really benefited from only having three weeks of a show. It lead to quicker gameplay, which made for a more exciting season. There was almost no downtime because something was always happening, whether competitions or scheming.

It felt a lot more compact, and gave the players and watchers very little time to relax; it kept the season at a quick but very enjoyable pace. A regular Big Brother season could work so much better if it loses anywhere from two. weeks to a month. A three week season of Big Brother is too short, unless we’re having seasons back-to-back, but a 60 day season would work just as well, if not better, than a full 90 day plus one.

Feeds Preview

Early sneak peeks of the feeds got fans super excited about the season. It even–probably–led to more early subscribers. CBS should 100 percent do feeds previews for Big Brother 20. They could even possibly offer early access to early subscribers–for example, saying anyone who subscribes by June 12 gets feeds a few days before the official launch date.

It could probably drive up subscribers and get early buzz going for the season.

Older Cast

It doesn’t even necessarily have to be a completely older cast. It could be like this one, where you have people in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, and older: just a mix of ages, instead of all 20-somethings with a few early 30-somethings, and like one person over 40.

The older cast leds to less showmances, more ruthless gameplay, and less attempts to self-promote. And it may actually attract more interesting characters to the show, because older people tend to have more life experience that they bring to the game and show.

What did you like about Celebrity Big Brother and want to see on Big Brother 20?

That’s it for Celebrity Big Brother. Thanks for all your support, and we hope to see you back here real soon.

Celebrity Big Brother Recap: (2/25/18) Marissa Jaret Winokur Crowned Winner

After 11 celebrities have fought it out inside the Big Brother house over the last 3 weeks, the moment we have all been waiting for has finally arrived.  There has been laughs and tears, drama and fights, with friendships forged forever.  There are only 5 celebrities left inside to battle it out for coveted title of Celebrity Big Brother.  Marissa Jaret Winokur won the $250,000 prize of Celebrity Big Brother.  Ross Mathews won America’s Favorite Player.

The remaining celebrities inside the Big Brother house include Ross Mathews, Omarosa, Marissa Jaret Winokur, Mark McGrath, and Ariadna Gutiėrrez.  We last left the celebs battling over the next Head of Household (HOH) competition called Rocky Mountain Fly.  The houseguests must hang onto their ski lift for their lives in this endurance competition.

Marissa was the first celebrity to fall off of her ski lift taking a dramatic Celebrity Big Brother fall.  Ari was not far behind Marissa falling out of the comp.  Mark and Ross were the only 2 left, and Ross started talking deals immediately.  Omarosa kept putting her two cents in as it was killing her not to know what’s going on with their secret deal.  Mark finally took a fall and gave the new HOH to Ross.

With only a few choices left, HOH Ross nominated Omarosa and Ari to the block for eviction.  Ross had made his intentions of targeting Omarosa very clear to the other 3 houseguests.  Omarosa should be evicted unless she wins the golden Power of Veto (POV).  Big Brother Game on!

The final veto competition is called Get Your Story Straight and each houseguest played one at-a-time.  To win, the houseguests must match the correct day with the corresponding Celebrity Big Brother story.  Once the houseguest believes they have all 8 days matched to their correct story, they will lock in their answers by hitting the enter key.  The houseguest to match the most correct days in the shortest amount of time will win the POV.

The results for this Big Brother event were mixed and all over the place.  Ross and Marissa both got all of their answers correct whereas Omarosa only had 1 correct answer out of 8 possible.  Between Ross and Marissa, the houseguest with the fastest time wins the POV.  Ross finished in 5:42 blowing away Marissa’s time of 12:31.  Ross won the POV and should keep his nominations the same.  In fact, that is exactly what Ross did, he chose not to use the POV.

Time for the first live vote and eviction of the evening.  After two very power speeches, the voting began.  Marissa casted her vote for Omarosa.  Mark also voted to evict Omarosa.  By a vote of 2 to 0, Omarosa was evicted from the Big Brother house.  During her exit interview with Julie Chen, Omarosa shared that she was surprised she lasted so long in the house.  Once she planned and executed the eviction of the strongest player in the games, James Maslow, she knew her time was limited inside the house.

The time has come for the last HOH competition called Hash It Out.  The houseguests will determine incorrect statements made by the evicted houseguests over the course of 6 rounds.  For each correct answer, they will receive a point.  The houseguest with the most points after 6 rounds wins the most powerful HOH in Big Brother history.

Round one goes to Marissa, she was the only houseguest to answer the first question correctly.  Everyone answered the round 2, 3, 4, and 5 questions correctly.   On the round 6 question, Marissa and Ari answered incorrectly making the game tied at 5 points with Marissa, Ross and Mark.  The tie-breaker question was answered correctly by Marissa making her the new HOH.

After emotion farewell speeches, Marissa chose to evict Mark and Ari from the Big Brother house.  This left her and Ross as the final two houseguests vying for $250,000.  Mark revealed how difficult the game of Big Brother was during his exit interview with Julie.  Both Mark and Ari agreed this was one of the best experiences of their lives.

The fate of the final two, Ross and Marissa, rests with the jury of 9 including Chuck Liddell, Brandi Glanville, Keshia Knight Pulliam, Metta World Peace, Shannon Elizabeth, James Maslow, Omarosa, Mark McGrath, and Ariadna Gutièrrez.  The jury asked the finalists questions pertaining to their gameplay to help their decision in voting for the winner of Celebrity Big Brother.

The votes were as follows:

  • Mark voted for Ross
  • Ari voted for Marissa
  • Omarosa voted for Marissa
  • James voted for Marissa
  • Brandi voted for Ross
  • Metta voted for Ross
  • Shannon voted for Marissa
  • Keshia voted for Marissa
  • Chuck voted for Marissa

Marissa won the first ever Celebrity Big Brother.

And Ross won America’s Favorite Player.

Celebrity Big Brother Finale Spoilers: And the Winner Is…

It’s been a long three weeks, as we watched the Celebrity Big Brother houseguests navigate their way to the end. In these final two hours, one player will emerge victorious. Four will come up a few places short of the Celebrity Big Brother win.

Celebrity Big Brother Finale Final 2-Marissa Jaret Winokur and Ross Mathews

Usually on finale night, we have a pretty good estimation of who will make it to the final two: There are only s few possibilities. However, there are way too many possible outcomes to know who would sit next to whom in the end. By the end of the first hour, we would know the final two.

With an unpredictable jury, we wouldn’t know the winner until the very last minute. Celebrity Big Brother was a nail bitter to the very end.

MAJOR CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER SPOILER AHEAD. PROCCED WITH CAUTION

*********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

The night started with a recap of the last HOH competition, which Ross won. Then we went straight to POV, which Ross also won. This basically meant the end of Omarosa’s game. Mark and Marissa then voted her out by two to one.

It comes down to Mark, Marissa, and Ross with a tie breaker. Marissa wins it by guessing closest to the real answer. Marissa chose to evict Mark and Ari.

Marissa and Ross are the final two. They then must answer jury questions. The whole jury segment was kind of a mess.

Marissa Jaret Winokur wins Celebrity Big Brother

But it ending in a Marissa Jaret Winokur win. Then Ross Mathews won America’s Favorite Player.
