Erika Girardi Defends Yolanda Foster’s Lyme Disease Struggle; Dishes On Her Co-Stars
Even though Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ Erika Girardi is the new kid on the reality series’ block, she is already turning out to be a fave among the series’ watchers. Erika might have bimbo looks but don’t get it twisted, the doll is likable–smart, tough and definitely, a straight shooter. A Beverly Hills lawyer’s wife by day, then club queen, Erika Jayne, when the sun goes down, she recently chatted with Celebuzz about life with her series co-stars, and in particular, bff Yolanda Foster, who is still struggling with Lyme disease battle.
When it comes to forming close bonds with the RHOBH crew, Erika does not discriminate, she’s an equal opportunity friend to all despite their shade and shenanigans, “I think that we’re all friends and I talk, text, and visit all of them.” Erika’s bond with Yolanda however goes way beyond the surface as evidenced on a recent show, where the mega wealthy performer privately jetted her ailing friend from the hospital and back to her home. As far as the scuttlebutt among the RHOBH ladies with regards to Yolanda’s health, Erika is not adding any fuel to their fire. In true blue friend fashion, Erika has proven herself to be a ‘ride or die’ friend to Yolanda, supporting her during her roller coaster Lyme disease ride. She brought Celebuzz up-to-date on her girl’s health struggles, “She’s having her good days and not so good days. I think there are more good days than bad days though. I think she’s doing better now than when we shot the show, but she’s certainly not out of the woods yet. As to why Erika have formed such a tight bond with Yolanda, the answer is simple their relationship is just simpatico, she explains, “I think Yolanda and I are just compatible, loving people that just kind of like the same things. When you find that kind of connection, you keep it.”
There have been some tense moments on the show but so far, the most uncomfortable moment for Erika had to be the scene when reality series star, Bethenny Frankel threw her unsolicited two cents in and berated one of Erika’s music videos. As ‘B**chenny’ ripped into Erika’s work, many viewers swore the scene was an intense moment for the singer but she revealed to Celebuzz, there is even more diva drama coming down the pike for her. “The most uncomfortable situation hasn’t been aired yet. I’m not going to give it away,” she teased.
Erika, who has been married to her much older gent but extremely successful attorney hubby, Thomas Girardi for 16 years now, has a 23-year-old son who is a police officer. Inquiring minds are wondering, if whether her son will make an appearance on the series, she tells Celebuzz, “No. I’m not going to speak for my son. He’s an adult and I’m not going to speak for him.“

Meanwhile, as Erika continuously tries to shimmy into a sane spot on RHOBH, she has her recording career to help keep her balanced. Gizelle Bryant Compares Her Lunch With Karen Huger And Charrisse Jackson Jordan To A Bad Horror Movie From 1984
In just two episodes (ever) of Real Housewives of Potomac, Gizelle Bryant has managed to offend Charrisse Jackson Jordan, make an enemy out of Karen Huger (no big loss though), and insult Ashley Darby. It’s way too early to tell if Gizelle‘s going to be fun or exhausting, but one thing is for sure, she’s bringing the drama.
In her blog, Gizelle admitted her sit-down with Charrisse didn’t go as she had expected. “I was really looking forward to cracking, sucking, and eating the crabs I cooked at Charrisse‘s house,” she said. “I cooked them with my secret spice ingredients and even heated up a special dipping sauce. Sitting down with Charrisse I thought was going to be an easy breezy conversation. We were going to talk about the loud noises that I may have caused and up-to-date hair and makeup tips. But NOPE… it turned quick fast and in a hurry into something else. I still don’t know why she was sooooo mad.”

“With her tone and disposition towards me,” added Gizelle, “you would think I slapped her Momma, cursed her kids, or stole her favorite Gucci bag that she always, I mean ALWAYS wears. Since I did none of those things and never would I’m still baffled and confused. There has got to be more to her madness.”
Gizelle turned her attention to Ashley, who she unfairly (in my opinion) judged before she even got to know her, next. “Ashley, Ashley, my little Miss Ashley… honey, that night she was a rambling, hyperactive, boiling hot mess,” shared Gizelle. “Her and her big bushy afro went from talking nonsense about nothing to humping and grinding anything walking.”
About calling Ashley a THOT, Gizelle said, “It wasn’t a secret. Everyone from the bartender to the girl passing out appetizers saw her THOT-ish behavior. I just wanted Ashley to stop talking and stop moving for at least five consecutive seconds. I was getting dizzy just looking at her.
Moving on her lunch with Karen and Charrisse, Gizelle snarked, “Watching Karen and Charrisse walk into the restaurant for lunch was like looking at a bad horror movie from 1984… Tales from the Crypts of Potomac.”
About the negative nellies, Gizelle shared, “When they were expressing their disdain, disgust, and hatred of sweet, innocent Gizelle, it made me feel a little sorry for them. In 2016 who stays mad more than seven minutes, who has time to have their face scrunched up, that causes wrinkles. Who doesn’t know how to take a deep breath and blow out the negativity. They were acting as if as kids, I stole their lunch money, or I did not let them sit at the cool table, or they couldn’t buy a date to the senior prom.”
Gizelle added, “Positivity sometimes is hard to find, like a good book to read or your hair line or edges. My recommendation for these ladies are two things that I love to do… take a yoga class and a tall dark stiff… drink <emoji face with the tongue out and a wink>.”

The perpetually clueless – or is she just full of it?! – Cynthia Bailey took to her Real Housewives of Atlanta blog to express her shock over Kim Fields and Kenya Moore not wanting to work together on the unnecessary Cynthia Bailey Eyewear commercial. Really, Cynthia?
But first, Cynthia weighed in on the debate over Kim‘s beatless brunch. “I was not personally offended or insulted by Kim’s ‘beatless brunch’ concept and felt her intentions were coming from a good place. However, I understand why some of the other ladies may have felt differently,” she said. “In my opinion the true definition of natural beauty is defined by more than minimal or no makeup, which is just one of many components.”

Cynthia acknowledged, “I thought the topic of ‘natural beauty’ brought up great conversation and a variety of interpretations.”
Moving onto the commercial drama, Cynthia said she was disappointed Kenya blew off her meeting and deprived Cynthia Bailey Eyewear of her skills.
“As part of the Life Twirls On cast <not sure this is something I’d brag about>, I got an opportunity to see firsthand how smart, talented, and creative Kenya is as a businesswoman,” gushed Cynthia. “I was very excited to hear her concept and see her ‘Gone with the Wind’ fabulous storyboards. I was disappointed that Kenya was not able to twirl over to the meeting.”

Cynthia claimed to be surprised that Kim wanted to work sans Kenya. “Yes, I was surprised that Kim did not want to co-produce the commercial,” she said. “As someone who has spent most of her career in front of the camera, I am still learning the protocol for directing and producing.”
Oh please, I don’t believe for a second that Cynthia is surprised. I think she knew exactly what she was doing when she asked Kim and Kenya, who haven’t exactly been hitting it off so far, to join forces – getting the name of her eyewear brand in the blogs. Well played, Cynthia, but don’t insult our intelligence.

Mob Wives Recap: You Said What??
After the drama proffered in last week’s episode of Mob Wives, I’m not quite sure what to do. Normally, I’d recap the season thus far, but OMG! Where do I start? Forgive me for forging in head first, but I’m at a loss. So let’s begin with what we witnessed last night, shall we? Drita D’avanzo is treating Big Ang to a swanky meal for being such a good friend. Such is the lives of Mob Wives! I’m just happy this is the last season, as I am physically and emotionally spent…for no other reason than I have no other shows on Tuesday! Just kidding, I’m enthralled regardless!
Drita contends that Ang will be a leading lady in her upcoming memoir. You can’t write a book about the lifestyle without having Ang front and center! Ang coyly dismisses her friends compliments (are they truly compliments to us normal folk? Is being a mob staple the lifestyle we covet?) and explains her heartache over not being able to hold a liquor license and re-open the Drunken Monkey. Her husband Neil needs to step up to the plate. She’s let him slide on helping pay bills for the last six years, and now it’s time for him to contribute. Changing the subject, Ang reminds Drita that she needs to make amends with Carla Facciolo. Ang admits that she told Carla that Drita shared Carla’s abusive relationship with her and that she announced the same to Carla, Karen Gravano, Renee Graziano, and crew. Drita doesn’t discount how this game of telephone came into play, and she’s hesitant to be put in a situation where she needs to address it.

Across town, a very tan Renee greets Karen who is complaining about ex-boyfriend Storm becoming overly drunk and aggressive in their disagreements. Karen knows that she isn’t innocent in their fights, and Renee urges her to call it off completely. Karen is ready to do that, if she gets more screen time. Meanwhile, Ang approaches Neil about not contributing to their finances. He may be supportive in getting her through her cancer diagnosis, but he’s not putting money on the table to help out their dire situation. Ang tries to explain what she needs from him, and Neil is automatically defensive. He wants to hang out with her like a husband, but he’s not able to give her what she wants which is “the money.” Neil storms out and Ang is not surprised by his behavior. But where is the money?
The following day, Brittany Fogarty arrives at Karen’s house wearing diaper jeans and a toddler’s shirt. The two giggle about their fathers’ bond in prison and discuss how difficult it is to be the daughters of rats in this lifestyle. Karen’s father’s legal team has filed a motion to get her dad out of prison on non-violent drug charge, and she is over the Gotti family trying to keep her family down. Brittany can relate. It’s hard when everyone judges your father’s cooperation with the Feds and equates it to you being weak. We can all relate, right? Not familiar with this situation, Drita is battling her own demons…wondering why her friends have discarded her when she’s been nothing but loyal. Of course, Drita is happy to share these stories with a literary agent in hopes of selling her book. Drita is from the streets. She played soccer. She never graced the entrance of an actual restaurant. She dated a thug. Drita made wrong choices, and she wants to write about those tales in her book. The poor literary agent praises the uniqueness of Drita’s plight while silently willing VH1 to blur her face. She wants to ghost write more books and she certainly doesn’t want to be associated with this one.
Renee is dining with Carla and two other ladies who part of the lifestyle. Someone needs to tell these women that this is the last season, so there is no hope of being peripheral cast members. Carla reminds the women that Drita used to be a good friend, but Drita betrayed her by gossiping about Carla’s domestic abuse to Ang. Renee hopes that the upcoming events that everyone will be attending will serve as closure for Drita and Carla’s broken relationship. Sure she does. To what events am I referring? It’s Ang’s Cancer Free celebration! Renee is excited to toast her friend, but she hopes she won’t have to interact with Drita. As Karen explains, all the girls my have issues with each other, but they none of them have a problem with Ang. Who could? Drita arrives, and Brittany hopes that her two new besties, Carla and Drita, can put aside their problems and make amends. Drita interacts with Ang while Renee, Karen and Marissa Jade sulk on the sidelines all “I can’t with her.” Marissa approaches Drita who plays nice, but Marissa reminds Drita of their initial-and unpleasant-interaction. Karen and Renee look on, hoping that fists will fly. Brittany hopes that Drita will put the lush-hater in her place. When Marissa and Drita part on good terms, Carla, Renee, and Karen are beyond peeved. Ang just wishes that everyone could get along.
Not shockingly, and even though she’s cool with Drita, Marissa is aghast that Brittany is trying so hard to get in Drita’s good graces. Everyone is up at arms about Drita’s complacency until Karen hears a stranger talking smack about her father. She may be terrified to get physical with Drita, but Karen ain’t skeered to throw down with a random VH1 extra! The poor guy just showed up for a televised party and free sandwiches, and now he’s facing teeth loss. Brittany can relate. Ang wonders why her guests can’t focus on the fact that this night is supposed to be about her beating cancer. To placate a ridiculous Karen, Ang evicts the interloper from her party, slipping him a twenty for his troubles on the way out of the shindig. The next day, Karen is breaking up with Storm yet again. She’s tired of their on-and-off relationship, and she’s ready to end it for good. The pair argue about their communication skills. As Karen cries about always feeling defensive, I curse VH1 for not springing for closed captioning. Karen and Storm are fighting. About what? I’m not sure I could tell you. I’m not willing to rewind umpteen times to figure out their messiness, and I don’t have to as the couple hugs, promising to work on whatever problems I couldn’t interpret in their dialogue.
After craziness at her party, Ang is catching up with Carla and Marissa over cocktails. Marissa wonders about Neil’s whereabouts at the celebration, and Ang quickly changes the subject to see how Marissa fared with Drita at the party. Marissa reveals that Drita was fine, but she still hates her weak newbie counterpart Brittany. Carla jumps on this information and brings it back to her crap with Drita. Ang is exhausted. Not only is her husband semi-deadbeat, she’s been battling cancer. Can’t she just have easy friends to counteract her actual problems? Given that the answer is no, an always caring Ang decides to force the issue with a meet-and-greet with her former friends. She’s procured the perfect event space for the stand-off…all that’s missing is a horse head. And that may be forthcoming, I’m not a psychic. I guess we’ll have to wait until next week for the epic culmination!

Little Women: LA Season 4 Premiere Recap: MotoCrossed
The first ladies of Lifetime’s ‘Little Women’ franchise are back for season FOUR! This season of Little Women: LA sees the gang reunited, minus Brittney “Freakabritt” Guzman, for another round of oversized drama, including more friendship fallouts and – of course – more pregnancy news. (Has there been a season yet that didn’t involve marriage or pregnancy hullabaloo of some sort, I ask you? Looks like this one’s no different!)
We start out at Jasmine Arteaga Sorge’s home, where she’s fixin’ to throw a Mommy Cocktail Party. It’s been only about a month since Elena Gant and Saint Preston’s vow renewal in Hawaii, which means it’s also been a mere hot minute since the epic throw down between Briana Renee (formerly Manson), Matt Ericson, and…every other human being on the show. Jasmine is still sporting the spider lashes, and she’s still BFFs with Briana, who shows up first to the soiree.

Since Hawaii, Jasmine is the only friend Briana’s got left on earth. No shocker there. Tonya Banks, who Jasmine has buried the hatchet with, shows up and informs us that she’s still single (Bye, Jaa!) and keeping busy with her workout videos. Christy McGinity arrives next. Her focus is on daughter Autumn, who’s just undergone major surgery and is bedridden. Christy and Todd have put artificial insemination and horrifying OB appointments on the back burner until Autumn recovers.
NOT on the back burner is Christy’s white hot rage at Briana for accusing Todd (in Hawaii) of stalk-texting her! Christy thinks Briana is a Liar McLiarpants, especially after she found text messages from Briana to Todd on his phone (Briana claimed she didn’t even know Todd’s number). But Christy says she’s willing to keep things amicable with Briana at Jasmine’s party until further notice.
Terra Jole hasn’t seen the ladies in a while, having spent most of her time taking care of baby Penny, who’s health has been an ongoing concern. Terra arrives and chats with Christy about her 1982 spiral perm. Since they’re allies again, they know they’ll need to join forces against Jasmiana! (Apparently, Terra and Christy’s alliance will be short lived, however, given last week’s news of Terra smashing a glass into Christy’s head while filming! Ugh.)
With proverbial spoon in hand, Terra immediately stirs the sh*t by asking Christy why Jasmine didn’t invite Elena to her party today? Because it’s “mommies” only, she guesses. Something tells me this will not sit well with Ms. Gant, especially if predictions are true that Elena may be the cast member pregnant with TWINS. (Just a guess here, but I’d place a few bucks on that bet. Some are predicting it may be Briana too, but I just cannot go there! #SayItAintSo!)
Jasmine gathers the women at the table to chat about mommyhood. They discuss Autumn’s surgery, then naturally, boob jobs. Ermergerd. Jasmine reveals that not only does she want to dabble in more plastic surgery, but she also wants to start an EYELASH LINE. To be fair, her talking head interview look does reveal a better lash look than she normally sports, but still. Girlfriend usually needs major help in the false eyelash department! Because of her type of dwarfism, Jasmine is not able to grow hair, so she has to rely on false eyelashes and hair. She’d love to help other women who struggle like her. She also reveals she’d love to have another child, although she’s not actively trying right now.
Guess who else is trying to get pregnant? Briana!! Christy along with the rest of the universe is not thrilled to hear this news. She doesn’t want to see Briana chained to D-Bag of the Year forever.
Tonya changes the subject, asking the ladies to come along to a motocross event where they can get down and dirty. More to come on that later.
With the party behind her, Terra meets Elena out to see samples of her new makeup line. Elena is promoting 5 different eye shadow palettes, “Little Palettes,” and wants to throw a preview party for her friends and family to take a first look. Terra fills Elena in on Jasmine’s eyelash line dreams, which doesn’t sit well with Elena. She’s also miffed that Jasmine, who Elena tried to include in the group last season, didn’t invite her to the mommy party. Elena has been getting the sense that Jasmine is going a little Single White Female on her lately and sees her as a fake b*tch, period. Terra smiles, knowing that Elena will go hard at Jasmine now that she’s in possession of this info.
At Christy’s house, she’s rifling through her closet with her mom, who’s staying at Christy’s to help take care of Autumn. They come across a pink box, which contains the ashes of Todd’s infant daughter, Chloe (sp?), who he tragically lost only after a few days of her birth, due to double-dominancy. Todd doesn’t want to spread Chloe’s ashes until he has another child, but Christy confesses to her mom that she’s DONE. She doesn’t want to pursue having another biological child anymore, but has yet to tell Todd this news. #Really? Christy’s mom offers that they might still consider adoption, but she better hurry up because “nobody’s getting any younger.”
At lunch, Jasmine and Briana are dishing about the “transition” of being married to Matt and how he’s also – ahem – “looking for a job.” MmmmmHmmmm. <side eye> Briana doesn’t want to be the nagging wife to Matt’s deadbeat husband, but there you have it. She doesn’t feel as if she and Matt rushed into marriage, but she does admit they have been arguing more lately. Briana expects Matt to contribute financially to their relationship and doesn’t want to be impatient with him while he’s looking. Last seen gainfully employed, Matt was in Seattle jumping in front of people with guns and saving children’s lives and working for the government…or some such nonsense. At least that’s what he said at the reunion, which cleared things up like shiny new crystal! #LinkedInProfileFromHell
Christy, Christy’s perm, and Todd are out for ice cream (is this part of Todd’s new diet!?) to discuss their future. Todd wonders when they’re going to try for another baby? Christy admits the hormones of IVF exacerbated her neck issues and wreaked havoc on her body so badly, she doesn’t want to ever go through it again. Todd tears up, telling Christy he doesn’t want her to “give him a baby” just for the sake of their relationship. He’s willing to adopt. So is Christy! Awww. Sounds like they’re going to pursue this option together.
Oh lawd! We’re plunged into the private life of Briana and Matt next as Briana takes Jasmine’s advice to heart. She wants to find a “loving way” to tell Matt how she feels. (May I offer the following suggestion? “GET. A. JOB.”) At lunch, Briana tells Matt, “I need you to be looking for a job…” but Matt defends himself immediately as having worked since he was 16 years old, so there! Briana pushes again, then Matt does what he does best: mocks her. Good to know he hasn’t suddenly morphed into a Reformed Man since last season! I had a teensy suspicion that he might use this season to redeem his on-camera image after seeing himself on air – or reading even 10 of the 10,000 negative comments about him online. Alas, not so! Looks like we’ll be treated to more of the same when it comes to everybody’s favorite average sized, d*ck pic sending, jobless loser! (Too harsh? Nah.)
It’s Motocross Day! And, since there’s been no screaming fights just yet, probably the scene of this episode’s big brawl. Elena is freaking me out with her oddly mesmerizing blue contacts, while the rest of the ladies are getting their biker chic look on. Christy is ready to explode at the mere sight of Briana, while Elena is cold-shouldering Jasmine. She tells Terra, Tonya, and Christy that she doesn’t trust Jasmine’s intentions and she feels Jasmine is ultimately trying to replace her in the group.
After much tugging and grunting, the ladies get their motocross gear on and mount their bikes. Briana’s has training wheels, which seems to be the safest bet at this point since Tonya’s bike bites the dust almost immediately. #LittleBossDown! After they get the hang of it, they tear up the track and, I have to admit, it looks mad fun! Ack! Until Briana’s training-wheeled bike turns over! She dusts herself off, then takes a unionized biker break. Oh snap! Terra biffs it – BAD – next! Well, this has gone from fun to fiasco in less than 20 seconds. Perhaps not Tonya’s brightest idea ever?
Jasmine brags that she didn’t fall even once, but Elena rightly snarks that she was the only one driving a 4-wheeler. So, shut it. At the table after their ride, Elena starts in on Jasmine for not inviting her to the party. Jasmine defends that it was a “mommy” event only, and she doesn’t have a personal problem with Elena.
Not one to let someone else’s fight detract from her own brewing fight, Christy takes the reins next. She confronts Briana about her lies that Todd had been inappropriately texting her, when it was Briana texting Todd all along (according to what Christy says she read on Todd’s phone).
Christy threatens to email all of their friends the conversations between Briana and Todd to PROVE what a liar she is. “All you are is full of lies! I’m sick of looking at your ugly face!” yells Christy, after telling Briana she could give a f*ck about her being married to Matt at this point. Since Briana has come for Christy’s marriage, that’s her number one concern now.
Meanwhile at the other end of the table, Elena and Jasmine are still biting each other’s heads off about who invited whom to whose party. They are getting nowhere. Terra claims she “just feels bad for Tonya” for putting this event together, only to see it all blow up like this. That’s rich, since Terra was the one who fed Elena the very info she’s using to attack Jasmine right now! Tonya’s exasperation in the photo below completely sums up my reaction to this 2-headed beast of an argument:
Bottom line: Elena thinks Jasmine has no friends of her own, so now she’s trying to take hers away. Jasmine thinks this accusation is ridiculous. Nothing she can say will diffuse this situation. “I didn’t know Elena had a claim on being the only little person blonde woman,” snarks Jasmine in her talking head. She looked this way long before Elena came to America, she says, and has been in the beauty industry for 10 years. So her eyelash line is not a copycat move either. “I’m done!” Jasmine shouts before walking off.
Elena is done too. But she does want everyone to come to her eye shadow palette preview party coming up – everyone, that is, except Jasmine.
TELL US: WHAT DID YOU THINK OF THE SEASON 4 PREMIERE? IS JASMINE TRYING TO COPY ELENA? IS BRIANA LYING ABOUT THE TODD TEXTS? WHO’S PREGNANT WITH TWINS!?!?
