Charles Spencer has reportedly made a striking admission about one of his nephews, Prince Harry. According to a new report, the 9th Earl Spencer claimed that the Duke of Sussex was “completely fine” about his Princess Diana memoir, “Swan Song: Diana, My Sister.” However, while making this claim, he allegedly decided to leave out his other nephew, Prince William. Spencer’s new bombshell book about his late sister has been creating quite a stir among the media and the royal watchers. It even prompted Buckingham Palace to release an intense statement.

Charles Spencer reportedly revealed that he informed both of his nephews, Prince Harry and Prince William, about his new memoir about their late mother, Princess Diana, at the same time. As reported by PEOPLE magazine, the 9th Earl Spencer recently sat for an interview with them at their family’s ancestral home, Althorp, which is also Diana’s final resting place.
During the interview, Spencer said that until later in the process, he hadn’t told his sisters, Lady Jane and Lady Sarah, or his two nephews, William and Harry, about the memoir on his late sister. Spencer then shared that it was only Professor Cat Spencer, his wife, and “the people who had to know in the book world,” who knew that he was writing “Swan Song: Diana, My Sister.”
Per the news outlet, Spencer further revealed that when he finally disclosed the news about the memoir to his sisters Sarah and Jane, they were “very surprised.” The 9th Earl Spencer explained, “They hadn’t seen it coming.”
Meanwhile, during the interview, he also claimed that he informed William and Harry about the Diana memoir at “exactly” the same time as he told his sisters. “So all four of them [William and Harry and Sarah and Jane], I told them exactly the same time. And I can say that Harry is completely fine about it,” Spencer added.
