He is said to be met with “outright anger” if he allegedly advises Charles anything regarding the second son. The relationship between the two brothers has been estranged for a long time. While the Duke of Sussex managed to reconcile with the King, things didn’t work with the other royal family members.

Prince William has reportedly been feeling sidelined by King Charles amid Prince Harry‘s reunion. A source told Closer that the monarch seemed not to be paying attention to his first son’s advice regarding the duke. “William says any advice he gives his father is met with indifference or even outright anger.”
“What’s really hurtful is that it seemed like they were busy preparing him to take over, everyone was talking about a potential abdication and now he’s suddenly been pushed to the side while Charles rolls out the red carpet for Harry any chance he gets,” they added.
Closer further suggested that Charles is not just the ruler but also a father and a grandfather. It was reported that he welcomed back Harry mainly because the King didn’t want to be estranged from his grandkids. He met Harry and Meghan Markle’s children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, after four years. He would seemingly like to continue getting close to the little ones.
Meanwhile, an insider has previously told Heatworld that Charles had asked William to “let it go” of his decision. “It’s become a real battle because Charles believes it’s time for William to let this go. He’s made his decision to make peace with Harry and Meghan and, in his assessment, everyone, including William, should fall in line,” they claimed.
