Welcome back, Below Deck Down Under fans! Last week, Alesia’s jealousy spiked. She’s taken, but she still has feelings for Eddy, who just kissed Jenna. So, to redirect his attentions, Alesia sent Eddy a late-night, thots-and-prayers styled text. And this week, her plan backfires, filling BDDU Season 4 Episode 6 with drama.
What happened in Below Deck Down Under Season 4 Episode 6?
Poor Alesia. You can’t hide a text that’s been sent, read, and replied to, especially when you live on an incestuous, gossipy yacht. Likewise, poor Ben. He’s already stressed, trying to come back from a disappointing charter. Unfortunately, this week isn’t treating him kindly either, and now, Ben is at his breaking point in the galley.
Alesia downplays her texts

“Eddy tried to kiss me thousands of times,” Jenna groggily remembers. “Did he?” Alesia asks.
In the crew mess, Eddy tells Mike that Alesia kept giving him “a funny eye” last night. “She’s feeling left behind here,” Eddy laughs. In their cabin, Alesia downplays Jenna’s kiss with Eddy, telling her that Eddy would have enjoyed any kiss, “regardless of who it was.” Clocking her, Betual asks Alesia to “be a good friend, please.”
In her confessional, Alesia acknowledges those texts. She’s “embarrassed,” but “My boyfriend knows I’m a flirt. He actually enjoys that about me because he can trust me that I would never actually do anything.” However, she adds, “last night, [my texts] took it a step too far,” and now, “I need to respect the fact that I’m in a relationship.”
Eddy tells Ben that he kissed Jenna. “You little bastard,” Ben says. Eddy doesn’t catch the truth in Ben’s jest, but as a viewer, we sure did. Ben’s had a thing for Jenna since Episode 1.
Alesia and Mike turn over the cabins. Mike reminds Alesia that her actions sucked, since she has a boyfriend. Alesia doesn’t “want to hear it.”
Gossip Mike makes the rounds

Ben catches a “fan malfunction” issue in his oven. Captain Jason radios the engineers, who were already aware of this problem. They’ve ordered the part, they say.
Eddy apologizes to Jenna. She liked kissing him, so no worries here. Eddy enters the crew mess and pulls out his phone. He sees his messages with Alesia and sighs.
Eddy has no memory of their chat, but he’s entertained. He reads their messages aloud to João. But in his talking head, Eddy sighs. He actually does like Jenna, despite what he texted.
Eddy gossips with Mike next. Shortly after, Alesia appears. Mike asks her to “take a seat.” He confronts Alesia, only to find himself on the receiving end of her deflection tour.
“If I hear you gossiping instead of working one more f*cking time, I’m going to lose my sh*t,” Alesia yells. “Well, you’ve got a boyfriend,” Mike claps back.
Daisy appears, annoyed. Alesia throws Mike under the bus for gossiping. Daisy reminds Mike that gossiping is bad, and also, “who cares” what Alesia is doing.
But Mike learned zero lessons. He’s now at the bar, filling Jenna in on all this tea. As a result, Jenna’s feeling “kinda put off” about Eddy.
Jenna reads Alesia and Eddy’s text messages

Mecca is the next co-primary. She founded a lifestyle magazine, “PYNK, which celebrates Black women and curates elevated experiences for them.” We then meet Mecca in Brooklyn.
Mecca explains, “If something’s not up to my standards, you’re definitely going to know.” She wants 5-star everything, including a six-course formal dining experience.
Mike feels encouraged by his drunken peck with Ellie. Ellie, however, doesn’t “intend to go there with Mike. I’ve got my eyes on the prize. And the prize is João.”
Speaking of João, Daisy grabs him for a chat. Mike and his mouth are messing things up, so Daisy plans on sitting Mike down. She and João find Mike and dangle the word “fire” in his face. He promises to do better.
João asks Ellie to join him for a glass of wine. Then, he invites Alesia. Ellie gets annoyed and heads inside.
After, Alesia heads to the crew mess, where Jenna confronts her about the whole Eddy thing. “There is no me and Eddy,” Alesia explains, “but he did text me last night.” Alesia hands Jenna her phone, and after Jenna reads through everything, she smiles. But in her interview, Jenna rightfully slams both parties.
Ben does his best, but Mike saves the day on Below Deck Down Under

The broken part is not in stock, but a new oven can arrive in three days. “You can get around it,” Ben admits, “But it’s not going to be pretty.”
Their next charter boards. These stunning women are hungry. Outside, the towing lines get tangled. Due to several factors, Captain Jason cannot idle, so João has mere seconds to fix things, or else they might lose a tender.
Wildly, Mike comes up with a plan that actually works. But now, their guests are extra hungry. Ben sends out spring rolls, but it’s not enough. They request additional snacks, which is hard, since Ben is also trying to crank out their beach lunch.
On the beach, Eddy apologizes to Jenna, but she doubts his sincerity. Their hungry guests pull up in a tender, and Mike gets to work charming them. Their lunch finally arrives, and is very well received. But tonight is their six-course dinner, so Ben’s not out of the woods just yet, especially after his chat with Mecca, who demands that Ben do “his best.”
