“Call Her Daddy” podcast. She recalled the experience of having sex with men as “performative.” Based on her experience, the singer also pointed out how sexual experiences with men and women were vastly different.
Chappell Roan revealed that she has dated so many men who “do it wrong, and they haven’t figured out that they need to do better — that they need to give more.” The Grammy winner revealed that meeting women inspired her to write the song “The Giver,” showing that “sex should be a giving experience.”
Roan noted that while there was an “understanding that it’s so giving” in her experience with women, in her relationships with men, “it wasn’t mutual.” Rounding up on the differences, Roan said, “When I started hooking up with women, I realized how easy it is, actually… You know what’s hard?
