Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, recently shared that the Palisades fire burned down her Malibu home through an emotional note. In the caption of the video she posted on Instagram, the businesswoman wrote, “This is what I was looking at on my birthday this past weekend from my tiny little bungalow on the water in Malibu!” She further disclosed that the place was extremely close to her heart, elaborating, “It was my favorite place, my sanctuary , my sacred Happy Place.” Knowles further expressed her melancholy as she stated, “Now it is gone !!”
The fashion designer then acknowledged and paid respect to the fire department’s contribution to saving people’s lives. She wrote, “God Bless all the brave men and women in our fire department who risked their lives in dangerous conditions.” She expressed gratitude to them by writing, “We Thankyou for your dedication and bravery and for saving so many lives. This could have been so much worse with out the dedication of the disaster workers and first responders.”
In her Instagram note, Tina Knowles also mourned for the people who lost their loved ones in the massive wildfire. She conveyed, “I’m so sad for the people who lost the five family members. My deepest Prayers are with you.” The businesswoman also advised the people in Los Angeles to buy air purifiers for their houses, further informing them that “there is a good one on Amazon for 99 dollars.” She concluded the note with “God be with us !”
