The ladies are back in The Real Housewives of Miami Season 6, Episode 14, here to continue their trip to Mexico which they started last week. In this week’s episode, “Row, Row, Row Me Off this Boat ” things started out rather fun with Alexia sharing plans for a gondola ride and a trip to the Cathedral of Guadalupe. But things predictably took a turn when it came out that Larsa had done an interview accusing a co-star of shedding “fake tears.” This came to a head at Alexia’s dinner. How did things go from there? Find out in our RHOM Season 6, Episode 14 recap.

The Real Housewives of Miami tackle … religion?

After a 24-hour shift, Dr. Nicole finally made it to Mexico, soon learning just how lucky she was to have missed the night before. Julia explained the bizarre contemporary art theme behind the dinner, including the half-naked men dancing around.

Meanwhile, Alexia got the wheels turning for the women to see the Virgin of Guadalupe. She was noticeably happy and excited for the girls to experience what she felt was the supporting power of the Mother of Christ. While the girls seemed happy enough to accompany Alexia, Julia had her reservations.

Julia explained that she separated herself from religion when she lost her son, receiving no answers at such a time of tragedy. She felt that religion ended up causing her more “grief and pain.” But Julia didn’t let these thoughts weigh on her as she shared a kiss with Kiki in the car, helping her apply her lip balm.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, Lisa was heading to the cathedral with a great deal weighing on her mind. Trying to come to settlement terms with Lenny was proving to be a nightmare. Lisa feared for her relationship with her kids and revealed that she’d cried in the shower.

Guerdy receives comfort at the Cathedral

In a rare moment of solemnity, viewers were treated to a look at the Catedral Metropolitana. Julia just as well showed sincerity as she assured everyone via confessional that she wouldn’t make this moment about herself. She knew Alexia was excited to have everyone at the cathedral.

Guerdy described the moment in the chapel as “surreal and serene,” distinct from the many churches she’d visited before with her father as a pastor. A few of the Housewives chose to kneel, and Guerdy began tearing up as she did so. Unexpectedly, Larsa began comforting her. Guerdy whispered, “I’m scared,” through her tears.

Alexia encouraged Guerdy to speak to Guadalupe, ensuring her that, “She’s going to deliver you. She did it for Frankie.” Alexia herself began praying, appearing to read Frankie’s note to the Virgin, thereafter placing the note under a lit candle. It’s easy to dislike Alexia, but it was hard not to sympathize with her there.

Marysol described the visit as “a rare moment of unity,” with all of the girls rallying behind Guerdy.

Comfort shared between the Miami Housewives

On the way back from the cathedral, the women couldn’t help but remark on the beauty of the space and the moment. Guerdy admitted that Larsa even apologized to her. It would seem miracles do happen. She cried in the van and, when alone with the cameras, Guerdy cried once more while reflecting on the experience. She said they would “never forget” the experience.

Nicole then checked in on Julia, reminding the group that the last time Julia had been in a church was at her son’s funeral. Julia made it clear she was trying not to think about herself by taking Guerdy by the hand. Julia admitted she loved animals so much because her cocker spaniel was the only one to comfort her after her son passed away.

In the other van, Marysol, Alexia, and Larsa tried to encourage Lisa, discussing the power of prayer from their perspective. Lisa said she was a woman of her word, while Lenny was anything but a man of his. Marysol encouraged her to keep an open mind, with answers to prayers often coming in unexpected ways.

Lenny changes the terms of Lisa’s settlement

Once back at the hotel, Lisa hopped onto a call with John, her divorce attorney. John said the settlement agreement was nearly secured. Lisa admitted she didn’t feel “great” about it but felt “okay.” John assured her that it was a good deal for her, Lenny, and most importantly, the kids.

Lisa asked if Lenny still needed to approve it, but John explained that Lenny’s attorney said they were ready to sign. Despite the primarily good news, Lisa couldn’t help but feel stressed. “I don’t trust him,” she told producers. “He can say one thing and then he changes his mind the next day.”

She soon received a call from Lenny who did not agree to be recorded. Editors explained via on-screen text that Lenny decided to add something to the settlement but didn’t reveal what just yet. Lisa stormed out of her hotel room saying, “I cannot believe this guy.”

What did Lenny say to Lisa?

The girls met up with Adriana who’d stayed back from the cathedral to prepare for her performance later that day. Meanwhile, Julia and Kiki exchanged lip balm again, with Marysol getting in on the action, telling producers she’d exchange more kisses if it kept Julia from coming at her.

Lisa soon joined the group in the car, explaining that Lenny didn’t want “a man permanently residing” with Lisa, hoping to add this to the settlement. Julia quickly and correctly responded, “That’s none of his business. You’re a free woman now.” Alone with the cameras, Lisa said Lenny needed to “f*ck off.”

When Lisa asked him about his girlfriend, Lenny reportedly defended himself by saying he paid for her to be there. Lisa’s friends were justifiably upset on her behalf. Still, Lisa signed the docs, wanting less than anything to go to court.

From there, the group arrived at their gondola ride, their boat named “Miami Mamis.” Everyone hopped on with excitement, noting the taco spread in front of them. But despite the excitement, distress quickly entered the chat as Lisa made her mental turmoil clear.

Her friends empathized with her and showed their support. Kiki assured Lisa that she hadn’t failed; rather, Lenny failed her. Nicole reflected on her divorce long before she was a celebrity. From her experience, she just couldn’t understand how Lenny was acting as he was given the years he spent with Lisa.

Lisa revealed that the last time she tried to go to Jody for comfort, he felt she was crying over Lenny. As such, Lisa felt embarrassed to try to go to Jody again. Guerdy comforted her, as did the others, but it was pretty clear they were ready to move on and have a fun afternoon. Lisa, for her part, was feeling bold and decided to try and steer the boat.

Larsa starts to get into it with Lisa

Adriana got a call from her producer just to check in and make sure she was feeling good about the upcoming performance. Her friends poured out their support for her, and even Alexia had to admit that she wanted Adriana to succeed. From there, Adriana made a toast to better times, especially for Lisa.

Larsa admitted that she was just glad Lisa got to be with the group and not bugging Jody. Lisa just as well admitted that she tended to snap at Jody, even in the moments when he tried to help. Larsa reminded Lisa that she’d be “screwed” without Jody, and if she lost him she’d regret it. Lisa didn’t take very kindly to that.

“I love him,” Lisa responded. Larsa said she didn’t know anyone else who would take Lisa’s sh*t – “No offense.” Lisa called her friend mean as she tried to remind Lisa how needy she was. Before Adriana could jump into the conversation, Alexia encouraged her to spare her voice.

Perhaps in an effort to change the subject, Alexia suggested a game of truth or dare (because that worked out so well last time). She dared Lisa to jump in the water. Lisa said she’d get herpes and every other kind of disease, which gave the rest of the ladies pause. Nicole particularly ran with that one when alone with the camera.

Kiki slams her “privileged” castmates

As the gondola ride went on, Julia shared yet another kiss, this time with Adriana, whose germophobe nature kicked in when she found out Julia had been sharing kisses all day. Soon enough, the ladies saw some small houses on the riverbank. Marysol opined that the homeowners must’ve been very grateful for what they had. Larsa suggested they were “probably really happy.” Excuse me?

Kiki, however, found their remarks to be extremely tasteless (as they were. Call them out Kiki). In a confessional, she said, “In Haiti, I was raised like that. My grandma’s home was like that. These women are very privileged and they need to keep their opinions to themselves because these are real people trying to make everyday living.”

But the women did find some sympathy for the dogs, whom they could see were not all that happy. Lisa decided she would throw the dogs some food but her friends tried to dissuade her from doing so. Alexia called her actions disrespectful and rude to those living on the riverbank. The gondola driver assured the group that the dogs were fed by their owners.

Lisa, however, decided this was a good hill to die on and said the chicken she threw was “better than what they get fed, I promise you.” Oh jeez. To producers, Kiki said, “It’s very ignorant that you would just assume these dogs are not eating good because of the way they are living. Lisa, you don’t even feed your own dog, your nanny does that for you.”

Lisa stands up and shouts at Kiki

Kiki chastised Lisa, telling her, “That was not nice.” Lisa still wasn’t ready to give up her stance, maintaining that the dogs weren’t fed well. Kiki asked how Lisa would know such a thing. Lisa stood up and shouted, “I was trying to help animals because I love animals!”

Kiki warned Lisa not to stand and, in an act of defiance, the Miami veteran stood back up. Wow Lisa, you really showed her. Lisa was essentially encouraging Kiki to come at her. Kiki tossed something in Lisa’s direction, but it was hard for viewers to make out exactly what it was.

Things soon devolved into a screaming match of “You shut the f*ck up,” returned with “You shut the f*ck up.” Kiki stood up and the two continued shouting at each other. Lisa accused Kiki of assault, at which point Marysol revealed Kiki had thrown a juice box. “Call the police!” Marysol joked.

Guerdy tried to diffuse things but Lisa wouldn’t sit down. She continued shouting at Kiki, warning her not to throw things at her ever again. Larsa suspected this was all a manifestation of Lisa’s stress over Lenny. Lisa then appeared to try and guilt her friends into dropping the argument.

A strange encounter with the Island of Dolls

Larsa, however, finally found her voice against Lisa, accusing her of “trying Kiki to a point you don’t try another woman.” Larsa slammed her friend for not being nice and said she’d never put herself in a position to have something thrown at her. Lisa told all her friends to “Shut the f*ck up.”

Larsa tried to encourage the group to join hands and say a prayer together but Lisa didn’t want to participate. Adriana offered the prayer, asking for mercy, and telling God that some members of the group needed help more than others. She was trying to add some levity to the conversation but to little avail.

Things took a strange turn as the girls passed the Island of the Dolls. As legend had it, a man saw a child drown in the river and began hanging dolls around the island for the child’s ghost to play with. All of the women were disturbed with Julia being the first to crack, likely at the memory of her young son.

The Real Housewives of Miami continues Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
