Faith Stowers Feels “So Vindicated” After Stassi Schroeder & Kristen Doute Get Fired From Vanderpump Rules

There’s been a seismic shift in the world of Vanderpump Rules. On Tuesday (June 8), Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute were fired from the show following allegations of past racist profiling against former cast member Faith Stowers.

In a new interview, Faith has opened up about how she feels.

“I feel so vindicated studios and production are able to see blatant racism and make these positive changes and help move the race forward — help with the fight forward,” Faith told Page Six.

She also revealed to the gossip site she’d been praying before she learned the news of Stassi and Kristen‘s ousting. “I know it sounds corny — I felt a sense of glory,” she said. “I felt God’s presence and I’m seeing now maybe that is what that was. He gave me a sign of optimism meant to be hopeful and showing that all of this was worth it.”

The one-time SURver, who appeared on Pump Rules during Seasons 4 and 6, accused the two OGs earlier this week of once making a false police report against her. According to Faith, the Witches of Weho called the cops on her after hearing about an African-American woman wanted for theft in the area.

Stassi once bragged about calling in the tip on her podcast. Meanwhile, Kristen took to social media to spread the pair’s theory. While they both offered public apologies this week, it was too little, too late.

Faith added that she didn’t regret speaking out about Stassi and Kristen’s discrimination. “I was ready to put myself in the line of fire because I don’t know what will happen if I don’t say anything,” she said. Faith added, “but I’m glad I did.”

She’s now hopeful that the firings will be just the beginning of major changes at Bravo. Over Pump Rules‘ eight seasons, Faith is only the second Black cast member in the history of the show. (And honestly, she’s best remembered for being the woman Jax Taylor cheated on Brittany Cartwright with next to a sleeping hospice patient.) Early SURver Tina McDowelle, who is also black, appeared in a recurring capacity during Seasons 1 through 3.

“Now I’m seeing Bravo follow suit — the same as MTV and The Challenge — [by] letting go of castmates that have also made racist remarks,” she continued. “Bravo is releasing women that have given them crazy ratings because they want to be on the right side of history.”

Faith declared, “I’m seeing people are finally hearing us.” Faith also had a message for Stassi and Kristen. She said, “I hope they use this time that they have now to educate themselves to why this happened to them,” she said of her former castmates, “and try to use [their] voice later for real change.”
