Cameran Eubanks is a bit of a mother hen to the rest of the cast, except for Patricia Altschul of course. She brought a sense of maturity to Southern Charm, not only in her professional life, but also in the dignified way she handled herself during all the cast conflicts. Cameran has not had a single slip since Season 1 as an original cast member.
Cameran dishes out a lot of support and is always available for her friends. Shep Rose and Craig Conover were often on the receiving end of her advice. Offscreen, Cameran is adopting the same role towards her community. In light of the coronavirus pandemic, Cameran has been using her celebrity to get aid to health care workers and also to advise the public on proper social distancing practices.
Earlier this week, Cameron shared information about a charity that donates food to healthcare workers. She posted a text via Instagram stories about Feeding Our Heroes SC. This Charleston-based charity is, “feeding the exhausted medical community AND using locally-owned restaurants who are being hit hard right now.”
Cameran added the following text, “if you are in the Charleston area this is a wonderful organization to donate to. My friend Suzi started this in an effort to feed our front-line hero’s! You can Venmo @Suzannah-Pigg.”

In another social media post, Cameran took aim at South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster. South Carolina only issued stay-at-home orders Tuesday at 5 pm, so Cameran was reacting to the lack of severe social distancing policy in South Carolina prior to that.
Cameran recorded a rant saying, “Governor Henry McMaster, what’s going on? What are we waiting for? We are one of, I think seven states now, left in the United States of America that have not issued a mandatory stay-at-home order.”

The mother of one, who is also married to a doctor, rattled off some medical statistics to underline the gravity of the disease. Cameran said, “yeah honestly, I get speechless when I think about it because all the common sense has just been thrown out the window. And for those that want to compare this to the flu, the CDC estimated that in 2018-2019 the flu killed approximately 34,200 Americans. Ok? The epidemiologist and scientists are predicting that the Coronavirus is on track to kill over 200,000. And they are saying that is an optimistic estimate. Some models show it in the millions.”
Cameran concluded with stern words for people for are not complying with social distancing. “And for those people who are still wanting to go to Lowe’s to get flowers to plant in their yard. Or you’re bored at home, and you want to go to Target or go to Walmart. You are literally helping kill other human beings,” Cameran said, “and does that sound extreme? Yes it does. And I want it to sound extreme because it’s the mother-effing truth.”

Finally, Cameran shared a post from Naomie Olindo’s boyfriend Metul Shah. He has choice words for those that are flaunting social distancing rules. Metul said, “everyone posting stories with different “quarantine buddies” and at different houses/places every day…we all see you and we all high key hate you. Keeping tabs on all yall’s fuckery.”
TELL US-WHAT DO YOU THINK OF CAMERAN’S VIDEO MESSAGE? WOULD YOU DONATE TO THE CHARITY? SHOULD PEOPLE BE POSTING THEIR MOVEMENTS ON SOCIAL MEDIA?
