Luann de Lesseps Thinks Carole Radziwll & Tinsley Mortimer Are Mean Girls; Accuses Dorinda Medley Of Stirring The Pot

Luann de Lesseps Thinks Carole Radziwll & Tinsley Mortimer Are Mean Girls; Accuses Dorinda Medley Of Stirring The Pot
It seems like almost every Real Housewives of New York season starts out with Luann de Lesseps and Carole Radziwill not getting along. It has become a tradition that I look forward to every year. Now Luann has Sonja Morgan on her side and Carole has Tinsley Mortimer on hers.
And just like the last two seasons, the main topic of conversation is Tom D’Agostino. He doesn’t even appear this season (at least as far as I know), and he’s still giving so much to this show. Last year (and the year before) Luann was all “about Tom,” but now it’s the Tinsley and Carole who want to talk about her ex.

Before taking actual digs at Carole, Luann shaded her frienemy by using a marathon as an extended metaphor throughout her Bravo blog post. Obviously this is in homage to yet another boring story line Carole’s marathon story line. Luann explained, “Marathons are a lot like life; we have to go through some pain in order to reach the finish line. The beginning of a relationship, like the start of a race, should be easy. This was not the case with my marriage to Tom. From the beginning, we struggled with our very different views of marriage.” And very different views of monogamy and discretion.
Luann shared, “I disagree with Tinsley and Carole (#meangirls), who say that since I shared my happiness with everyone, I am also required to spill my heart out about what happened. It’s my business, not theirs. I’m entitled to work through this situation however I choose, and the girls should be happy that I’ve decided to be optimistic!” I’m all for optimism, but the whole country was subject to this relationship for two seasons, at least some explanation and dirt shared on a reality show would suffice.
Lu continued, “Like I’ve always said, ‘When one door closes, another opens.’ I’m absolutely positive that I will emerge from this experience a happier, more focused person.” And hotter. Sober Luann is looking phenomenal.
Luann didn’t even invite Sonja (Tom’s former friend with benefits) to her wedding, but now Sonja and Luann are attached at the hip. Luann wrote, “No one runs a race alone, and true friends don’t say, ‘I told you so’ even though they can! Sonja is a true friend to me. She let me live with her when I was looking for an apartment, and she’s always been there in the good times and the bad. Loyal friends are priceless, and Sonja’s a gem.”
Dorinda Medley was a bridesmaid in Luann’s wedding (and the person who introduced her to Tom), but Luann wrote, “As for Dorinda, she was definitely stirring the pot when she told Tinsley what Sonja said. I don’t think Sonja’s personal conversation with Dorinda needed to be shared with Tinsley. Sometimes, it’s kinder to keep what you’ve heard to yourself.” How is Tinsley paying for that hotel room though? Sonja wasn’t the only one thinking that Scott Kluth was footing the bill for that one, right?
Luann teased, “Next, we are all heading to the Hamptons for our first weekend together this season. Sonja’s staying with me, and like she says, ‘We always have a great time!’ Sonja knows the Girl Code, and I love her for it.” Same.
