Sam Lavery was sent home in week 6 of the X Factor live shows after the sing-off with Ryan Lawrie.
Sharon and Nicole voted for Sam to leave - after she performed No More Drama by Mary J Blige. Louis and Simon voted for Ryan - who sang Stop Crying Your Heart Out by Oasis - to leave. The votes went to dead-lock and it was announced that Sam had the fewest votes. So Sam became the sixth act to be eliminated from the live shows.
