There are only so many times that a person can say sorry for her poor behavior. After a while the apologies just don’t mean shit, especially when that annoying person keeps doing the same thing over and over again. Stephanie Hollman seems to know this way too well. She is just so beyond LeeAnne Locken and her constant drama.
It seemed like it was all good in the hood during the last Real Housewives of Dallas episode. LeeAnne (finally) invited Stephanie out to lunch so she could apologize for going bat shit crazy at that cocktail party and getting up in her face. Stephanie was very kind and seemed accepting, but she didn’t really get a word in during the actually episode. Thankfully she is sounding off about what went down after the fact.

Whoever thought of the idea to have the women on Real Housewives write blogs in response to the episodes as a genius. Not only is it great to see all the drama go down and watch the ladies back stab each other in the episode commentary, but we get to read even more of it after the show airs.
For anyone hoping that maybe LeeAnne makes some sort of transformation over the season and becomes super likable all of a sudden. I mean it’s possible, look at how much everyone hated Camille Grammer when RHOBH started. Now she’s a total queen. Well, this does not seem to be on the horizon for RHOD villain LeeAnne. Stephanie still can’t stand her.
Stephanie made it clear that LeeAnne’s apology lunch did not do much for her when she wrote in her blog, “When Leeanne called me for lunch, I suspected it was to apologize. After lashing out at Marie’s party, I thought she would likely beat herself up about it when she calmed down and had some time to think about it. This seems to be a pattern for her. She acts out, apologizes, blames her past for her behavior, and then repeats the pattern when she gets upset again.” I don’t blame Stephanie for being annoyed if this is what happens all the time. Being friendly with LeeAnne just sounds like it is way too much to deal with- no matter how much prestige she has in the “charity world” that she is obsessed with.
I also don’t blame Stephanie for being miffed by the timing: “The apology was offered a week after the incident. I had honestly dealt with it, forgave the behavior and moved on. I do appreciate her taking responsibility and apologizing.” It just seems like the drama had way too much time to fester. At the same time, it is very clear that LeeAnne has issues with saying sorry so I guess Stephanie just has to take what she can get.
I felt weird watching the scene because it doesn’t seem like Stephanie had a chance to talk and apparently Stephanie saw it the same way that I did: “As usual, she talked, and I listened. My hope for LeeAnne is that someday she will understand that friendships and bonds are made with conversations where both people may talk without fear of setting her off.” EXACTLY. LeeAnne really does seem so self-involved. She just makes everything (including charity) about herself and it is so frustrating.
TELL US- DO YOU THINK THAT LEEANNE’S APOLOGY WAS SINCERE?
