Bethenny Frankel made an appearance on Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills this week where she demonstrated that come Jesus, come the President, or come Erika Jayne (or Erika Girardi), she’s going to speak her mind. Just a warning!
While I personally thought Bethenny was unfathomably rude to a woman she just met, who was a guest in her home, Bethenny defends her cutting comments to Erika because she was asked to “stir it up” a bit and was simply giving the producers what they wanted. Isn’t this reality TV – shouldn’t we doing what’s real?

“What am I gonna do, agree to work with Kyle and then sit there and not say what’s on my mind?” Bethenny asserts to People. “I know Bravo well enough that they didn’t bring me on there because they think I’m cute.”
“I’m a little less calculated than the women on that show,” adds Bethenny who excoriates the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills cast for being “more edited and controlled.” Is this a bad thing? To not say whatever comes into your mind regardless whose feelings your “truth cannons” hurt? It’s called decorum, Frankel, GET SOME!
Bethenny also encourages Erika to look at the silver lining – the self-proclaimed marketing expert behind Skinnygirl gave The Pretty Mess some publicity!
“You know, I helped [Erika] out with a little bit of press for what she’s doing,” declares the Real Housewives Of New York star. They “all felt really similar to the way I felt but they were excited for me to be the one to say it.”
“As long as I’m [on] reality TV, I ain’t playin’ it safe,” Bethenny tweeted in her own defense.
