Reality TV cast members are used to social media criticism. Even pregnancy doesn’t make them exempt from the wrath of “fans.” Cue, the parent shamers…. and the pregnancy shamers. Yes, shaming starts before someone even becomes a parent.
OG Below Deck Mediterranean cast member Hannah Ferrier faced some critics when she posted a photo of herself cooking, rocking a sports bra and showcasing her baby bump. The commenters took issue with Hannah’s beverage, which just looks like water. However, some haters took issue with her using a wine glass and wondered if she was drinking alcohol during her pregnancy.
Us Weekly reported on the conversations that went down in the comments section of Hannah’s Instagram post. One troll told Hannah, “In the USA, we don’t drink when pregnant.” In response, Hannah wrote, “That’s good for you. And def not unsafe to have sparkling water with fruit in a wine glass.” Seriously. She’s not even drinking juice or something other beverage that can be easily confused for wine.
A different hater commented, “Hannah if you’re pregnant as we can see that you are, why are you drinking?” Hannah got creative with her clapback, sharing that her “body still needs fluids to survive — especially during pregnancy. Might I suggest sparking water and fresh fruit as photographed?” Which, again, is what it looks like in the photo, rather blatantly.
Hannah also wrote, “I can’t wait until there’s wine in the glass again, although I haven’t really missed it at all.”
Come at Hannah for her lack of passion for yachting or her sub-par tablescapes- not for her choice of glassware and criticism based on zero facts.

This season, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans have seen more of Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin’s daughter Amelia Gray Hamlin. She has utilized this platform to promote her clothing line and to open up about her struggles with an eating disorder.
While some viewers find Lisa and Amelia’s candid conversations to be compelling, there are some who aren’t that interested in the content. Furthermore, there are actually some trolls who had the nerve to accuse Amelia of pretending to have an eating disorder just to be on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
People reported that Amelia posted a screenshot of a particularly mean (and incredibly insensitive remark). Someone wrote, “Yeah so Amelia Gray lied about being anorexic on reality television. We really thought it would get her more air time. I’m upset. Denise ruined it.” WOW. That’s a really awful thing to say. No wonder Amelia clapped back.
She wrote “I usually don’t post these,” which makes me wonder how many similar messages she receives. Amelia admitted, “But this really got to me.”
She declared, “Lying about a mental illness is disgusting. Something I hope nobody would ever do.”
While there’s no doubt that this platform (and her parents’ fame and connections) helped propel Amelia’s career, she’s apparently not into being on the show. She explained, “I seriously can’t believe I’m being accused of lying about my anorexia to get more ‘air time’ sorry but I’m forced to be on the housewives by my mom. Ask anyone, it’s the last thing I want to do. I couldn’t care less about air time. So f*ck you.”
It’s really a shame that anyone accused her of lying about something so serious. Good for Amelia, shutting that troll down. No one should have to see something like that when she is legitimately struggling.

It seems like Teresa Giudice’s daughter Gia Giudice has made the most of her time in quarantine. She recently admitted to being the happiest she’s ever been because of her nose job.
She also posted about getting dermaplanning and a lash tint most likely because she wanted to get free or discounted procedures in exchange for publicity on her Instagram. Not that it was needed (and not that we’re against it), but it seems like she’s going to have the ultimate quarantine glow up. She even got a cosmetic procedure to reduce her underarm sweating.
Gia plugged the doctor that treated her underarms by posting a photo of herself getting the procedure done and a very lengthy caption about it. Oh, and she was wearing a tank top that said “sweat less, live more.” WOWWW. She’s all in on this one, you guys.
Gia asked her followers, “Have you ever been annoyed about underarm sweat stains on your brand new blouse? Or white deodorant marks on black outfits? I sure have, but I’m excited to say bye-bye to both!”
And here comes the plug. Well…that charter certainly didn’t go well, did it? If last week’s Below Deck Mediterranean ended on a down note, this week it was all hands on deck…for total disaster. And frankly, the root of the problems start in the galley. Two weeks ago, Chef Kiko Lorran conquered an unimaginable feat with his 72-plate, six-course meal. But just one charter later, he’s been sent spiraling by single vegan charter guest. Or maybe it’s just the lack of moqueca?
This Below Deck Mediterranean episode picks up in the aftermath of last week’s raw fish debacle. Kiko is shaken up by his poor performance, even going as far as declaring that it was the “worst day of his life.” With some encouragement from Bugsy Drake, the chef calls it a night by reminding himself that tomorrow will be a new day. But will it be better? Spoiler alert: not necessarily. Meanwhile, Pete Hunziker is relegated to the latest possible anchor watch for three reasons. 1. To keep him away from all-female crew members. 2. To give him plenty of time to think about his bad behavior. And 3. To thankfully keep him off of our screens during the day as much as possible. Fired by Bravo and officially demoted, this week finally felt like the beginning of Creepy Pete being edited out of the rest of the season.
The next morning is the second day of charter, and not only that, it’s a charter guest’s birthday. So the pressure is on, but problems keep popping up. Jessica More is struggling to do turndowns with her broken finger. Captain Sandy Yawn is micromanaging in the galley. Kiko has to cook a vegan breakfast. The only department that really seems trouble-free is the deck crew, where Malia White is leaving Alex Radcliffe in charge of the anchors.
Oh wait, spoke too soon. There’s drama on the deck too. After anchoring off the coast of Sóller, Rob Westergaard starts bleeding from an unspecified injury to his toe while setting out the water toys. At the same time, there’s some sort of misunderstanding between Malia and Alex over where to find the instruction manual for the flooded jetsurf. Both of these incidents manage to aggravate the bosun, whose tone is markedly clipped as she snaps at her subordinates to pick up the pace.
Sensitive Rob doesn’t react well to Malia’s energy, leading to a philosophical argument over polite communication and “holding space for negative energy.” Malia doesn’t want Rob to take orders so personally, but Rob just wants everyone to take a breath and focus on how they speak to one another. Setting up the slide only makes things worse — you can practically see Rob start to shut down as Malia barks orders at him.
Meanwhile, Kiko is out to redeem himself with a sushi birthday lunch, but isn’t quite sure what the ponzu sauce is that the primary has requested. While the chef’s sushi looks beautiful, the problem with small bites is the guests quickly devour everything he made. Before you can say deja vu, Kiko is cooking from behind once again, rushing to multi-task and leaving the guests waiting for more food. Uh oh…As the Below Deck chef flounders between mushrooms, ponzu and extra tempura, lunch devolves into another mini-disaster.
During lunch service, a separate miscommunication starts brewing in the interior. It seems Jess can’t understand Bugsy‘s South African accent over the radio, leading her to misunderstand the second stew’s simple request for wine glasses multiple times. The two stews snip at each other throughout service (petty points to Jessica for her “See what happens when you enunciate?” dig) and the tension quickly erupts into a full-blown argument. Curiously, Hannah Ferrier can’t be bothered to step in, opting instead to sit silently the sidelines. Bugsy and Jess’s argument gets so loud that it even draws the attention of Captain Sandy, who has to break up the spat while Hannah…watches.
Dinner goes relatively better than lunch. There’s a mariachi band to liven the mood and drown out any tension! However, the vegan guest complains about being served pasta, the texture of Kiko‘s prawns turns out funny and one woman hardly touches her plate. When Captain Sandy drops in to ask how the meal was, the primary gives feedback that can only be described as middling, calling Kiko’s cooking “very average” at best. Watch out Kiko, now Sandy is officially upset.
Finally, morning arrives and it’s drop-off day. There’s only one more meal to get through. So how bad could one simple breakfast be, right? Wrong. Oh so wrong. Kiko admits via confessional that he’s already feeling depressed because of all the stress he’s under. And his mood affects his food, got it? However, the problem actually starts with Hannah this time. Upon waking, Jess tells the chief stew that the guests are planning on breakfast at 9 a.m. Somehow, the allotted time comes and goes. By the time Sandy waltzes up to the table at 9:25, the guests admit no one has come by to serve breakfast or check on them.
This lapse in time management is a major dropped ball, and sends Captain Sandy into a rage. She even wakes Bugsy up hours before her shift to save the meal. Hannah tries to pass responsibility off to Jess, blaming her for not radio’ing. But we just watched Hannah acknowledge Jess tell her 9 o’clock, right?As Sandy points out in her confessional, what is Hannah doing? Because the captain certainly doesn’t see her leading, and honestly neither do the viewers. By the time food comes out — over an hour late — this Below Deck Med charter is officially sunk. Not even a last-minute appearance by Bugsy can keep it afloat.
Sandy rewards Malia by letting her drive the yacht to the dock. After a truly torturous three days, the charter is over. However, as the crew assembles on the dock to see the guests off, the primary shares some tough love while handing over the tip: the entire group found the food and service generally lacking and below the expectations of a super yacht like The Wellington. Ooof — that’s exactly what Captain Sandy didn’t want to hear, though Bugsy gets a special shoutout for being the guests’ favorite.
During the tip meeting, Sandy reprimands the crew for the disastrous charter, citing it as a total failure. She even threatens to start letting people go if changes need to be made. Mostly, she’s looking at Kiko and Jessica. Ultimately the crew’s tip was a meager $1230 USD per person.
The episode closes out with Sandy pulling Hannah aside for a much-needed chat. The captain wants to know what’s going on with her trusty chief stew: is she resigned? She letting things fall through the cracks left and right and just seems checked out in general. I mean, she hasn’t even criticized Kiko‘s cooking the way she would have in seasons past!
No matter how many times Hannah says everything is fine, Sandy can’t shake the feeling that something is different. Then, she calls a meeting with Kiko on the bridge. While the chef seems like a great person, it’s ultimatum time: fix the food or ship out. Kiko can’t have another average charter — he needs to be spectacular or Sandy will be finding another chef.

Maybe I’m not much of a risk taker or I just love to plan things out. But I have never seen so many ‘fly by the seat of your pants’ people in one place. Last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance The Other Way showcases why when you fail to plan, you plan to fail. I couldn’t imagine moving to another country with no idea of culture, language or currency. Is it just me or is that completely insane? Seriously, I need someone to tell me. I am seeing this so often every week, I am starting to question myself. I appreciate adventure as much as much as the next person, but I value independence even more.
Brittany Banks feels alone after clashing with Yazan Abo Horira‘s parents. Kenneth Niedermeier and Armando Rubio are finally reunited. Jenny Slatten meets Sumit‘s lawyer and learns the truth about his divorce. Tim moves to Colombia to win back Melyza. Jihoon Lee turns to his mother for help. Let’s get straight to the recap!
After a disastrous meeting with Yazan’s parents, Brittany storms out of the house. Yazan attempts to console his emotional fiancé who can’t comprehend what she did wrong. Although is a language barrier, anger needs no translation. On the verge of her secret being discovered, she has an explosive breakdown where she screams and cries until she is shaking. She repeats over and over that she didn’t know that her father needed to come to Jordan right away. Someone please get this girl a shot of tequila to calm her nerves. Let’s just be honest, Brittany is feeling the pressure because she is still MARRIED. It has nothing to do with her father or not understanding the language.
Surprisingly Yazan reassures Brittany that everything will work out after her outburst. After the way he acted at the airport, I thought for sure he was going to match her level of anger. Instead of retaliating, he takes Brittany to see the surprise he prepared for her. When they arrive at her apartment, she is greeted by a romantic gesture. Yazan has placed flower petals everywhere to make his “baby” feel special. Aww, so sweet! Personally, I wouldn’t have done anything for her. Brittany has been acting like a brat, since she arrived. Nonetheless, Yazan vows to speak with his uncle to try to get help fixing the situation between Brittany and his parents. I have to say I am impressed by how Yazan handled his fiancé with such love and understanding. Maybe Brittany should try that as well. She is literally pretending to be a victim, while she embarrasses her fiancé for the world to see.
Kenneth finally arrives to his new home in Mexico. He is immediately greeted by an emotional Armando who is overcome with joy. Their happy reunion is cut short when the subject of Armando’s parents comes up. Kenneth is worried that he will not be accepted when he visits the family in a week. I really hope that during the time they have been apart, Armando’s family has decided to fully accept him.
Kenneth has much to learn before he will feel comfortable in Mexico. From everything from driving, currency, food to the street vendors, he is realizing he isn’t in Kansas anymore. When the happy couple go to lunch it’s obvious that Kenneth is totally dependent on Armando. I’m not quite sure why he didn’t think it was necessary to attempt to learn Spanish before moving. At this point, there is virtually nothing Kenneth can do by himself. There is probably isn’t much he would want to do considering the conditions aren’t up to par to him. He is not accustomed to the way of living in a small town in Mexico. Obviously Kenneth just looked at pictures of the apartment online and jumped in the car with his dog. He clearly hasn’t done any other research.
Tim is packing up his life to start new with his girlfriend Melyza in Columbia. After discovering Tim’s infidelity, Melyza no longer trusts him. One has to wonder just how long he will be expected to jump through hoops. Tim hopes to prove his love is real by leaving everything behind. Little does Melyza know he hasn’t actually left much of anything to chance. In the last episode, he revealed that he didn’t quit his job or get rid of his apartment. Despite Melyza’s desire to give him a second chance, her mother isn’t so forgiving. Tim better hope his girlfriend doesn’t find out his little secret. I have a feeling she will see it as another betrayal.
Sumit is finally keeping his word and taking Jenny to visit his divorce lawyer. She immediately inquires as to why Sumit has no paperwork to prove he has filed. After getting the run around, the attorney agrees to provide the documents. The divorce process is very different in India than it is in U.S. Often times it can take two to five years to be finalized. Fortunately for Sumit, since both parties have agreed his process should take a lot less time. Either way it’s too long for Jenny to wait. She is eager to marry the love of her life. But if Sumit’s family decides to challenge a marriage to Jenny, she may find herself back at her daughter’s house on the couch.
Sumit takes Jenny to spend the day with his friends. It was supposed to be a couple’s outing, but his friends admit their wives didn’t want to come. Although Jenny is she is hurt, this isn’t her first rodeo with people who don’t agree with her dating Sumit. Hell, she had a whole village show up last season to their apartment to tell her. These two have a long road ahead of them, but are determined to stumble through it together.
Jihoon talks to his mother about his marital problems. Hopefully she has all day to listen, because he is stacking up quite a long list. Instead of giving him sound advice, she shirks off his behavior to being young and Korean. Huh? He explains that his lack of preparation may lead to his wife leaving him. Then he begins crying about the $30,000 he borrowed from his parents, that he still has yet to pay back. If he was expecting sympathy he certainly came to the wrong person. His mother seemed more offended by his tears, than her daughter-in-law threatening to leave. Maybe instead of taking naps and partying, it’s time to work hard to change your financial situation Jihoon. Deavan Clegg has made it clear that she isn’t going to be the sole provider for the family. It’s time to grow up!

There’s a new episode of Below Deck Mediterranean on tonight and it seems like everyone is getting a bit of cabin fever at this point in the charter season.
Chef Kiko Lorran struggles through the first day of the charter. At one point, a charter guest tells Captain Sandy Yawn that both the food and the service were “average.” Ouch. As a result, Captain Sandy gives Kiko an ultimatum. He needs to “wow” the charter guest, otherwise, she’s going to find another chef for the yacht. Ouch (again).
Kiko is not the only one on Captain Sandy’s shit list though. She has an issue with Hannah Ferrier (as always). Bugsy Drake and Jessica More get into a heated argument about the radio usage. Jess thinks it’s hard to understand Bugsy on the radio and that she should make an effort to talk more clearly. While they argue, Captain Sandy stumbles upon the scene and attributes all of the drama to Hannah (as per usual). At one point, Captain Sandy remarks, “What’s my Chief Stew doing? I don’t see her leading.” Has she ever?
Well, cue another one of those awkward talks with Captain Sandy belittling Hannah for her lack of enthusiasm for the job.
On deck, Malia White comes down on Rob Westergaard for his performance, telling him, “You don’t have to take things so personally every time.” Wait until she finds out that Rob and Jess are making out below deck instead of completing their duties.
