Erika Jayne and Erika Girardi are back! This season of Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills has been a lot more enjoyable (courtesy of it being Lyme-free, I presume) for Erika, and her friendships with the other women have grown stronger. Well, all except for her relationship with newbie Dorit Kemsley, that is!
This season Erika – and the entire group – is having “a lot of fun.” Naturally there’s a whole lotta Erika Jayne exposure, but also a lot more Erika Girardi on the scene. She explains, “We get to see a little more about who I am and where I’ve come from, which I think is great.”

“We take a lot of trips, to Hong Kong, Mykonos, and Mexico, so there’s a lot of lifestyle glamour and fun.” All the travel and travails has bonded Erika to her castmates. She celebrates their differences and appreciates what they all bring to the proverbial table.
“The friendships get a little bit deeper. I actually like my cast members. We speak when we’re not filming and we can keep in touch. We’ll meet for lunch and go over to each other’s houses from time to time,” Erika reveals. “Listen, the women that I work with are very great, very smart; they all have their own businesses. They keep busy, but we stay in touch throughout the year.”
“Everyone has their thing that it adds such a great layer,” she continued. “It’s not just a bunch of bitches who get together to fight.”
Well they aren’t now, per se. Last year… on the other hand. “I don’t think it was terrible. No one needed therapy afterward,” Erika reflects. “I mean, Yolanda [Hadid]’s situation was different. She was very hurt, she was ill and she had the hardest time, I think. That’s my opinion anyway.”
Despite Erika and Dorit’s issues later this season (it takes “one hundred weeks to get there” she warns), she believes Dorit and Eden Sassoon bring some “new much-needed energy” to the status quo. “I think they both have a lot to offer,” Erika tells TooFab. “They’re both strong personalities and, you know, they’re going to show you who they are.”

So what exactly are Erika and Dorit fighting over? Whatever it is – it’s not Erika’s fault! According to Erika, at least. “Dorit has very strong feelings about me,” Erika says.
“I’m not going to spoil the season, but you’re going to make up your own mind,” Erika teases to Entertainment Weekly. “Then you’re going to call me when the season’s over and say, ‘E, you were right.’ [Laughs]’
“You know, I get asked this question, ‘What problem do you have with Dorit?’ and my answer is, ‘I don’t, she has a problem with me.'” shares Erika. “You’ll see,” she warns.
Erika shares that her life hasn’t changed much since joining RHOBH. I mean she was already the envy and ogle of millions as Erika Jayne, but otherwise, she’s just regular as milk and apple pie. “Listen, at the end of the day, we’re all human beings and I’m a very normal, down-to-earth person. I’m just a regular woman who just happens to have a really incredible life.” Doesn’t she mean she’s just two regular women?
“The fame stuff though,” dismisses Erika, “whatever, who cares, you know what I mean?”
Erika also dishes that she watches Vanderpump Rules and describes Lisa Vanderpump‘s accomplishment in the success of the show as “kind of genius.”

In typical The Walking Dead fashion, tonight's Talking Dead revealed very little about what's coming up on the AMC hit. Host Chris Hardwick was joined by creator Robert Kirkman...Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks and actor Shemar Moore kept things interesting on Watch What Happens Live tonight. Aside from Phaedra dishing on her divorce from Apollo Nida and her issues with Kandi Burruss, she was busy getting frisky with Shemar. She also tried to clear up Andy‘s confusion over the bomb threat.
Andy reads Phaedra a piece of Matt’s rant from last week and she says, “I don’t know what’s going on with them. They’ve been together over a year now and I’m not really sure because I try to mind my own business, unlike most. I feel bad for Kenya if it’s as crazy as it sounds.”
Andy shows the photos of Apollo and his fiance in their prison photo shoot celebrating their engagement. Phaedra says “my best wishes.” Andy comments that her divorce is final and she says “thank you, Jesus, it is final. TMZ even said so, so you know it’s true.”
When Andy asks if she’s dating she says “hopefully so.” She then jokes about dating Shemar and kisses him twice on the lips.
Andy reads Kandi Burruss‘s Tweets from tonight where she claims that she had NO idea that Mama Joyce was seeing the lawyer and talking about Phaedra. Andy asks Phaedra if she gives Kandi props for swooping in and removing her from the confrontation with Mama Joyce at the food tasting? “It was interesting.” Andy asks if she believes Kandi but Phaedra just smiles and blinks.
Andy says Phaedra had to be surprised when she saw the scenes with Mama Joyce in the lawyer’s office. “I’m never surprised with these ladies.”
Andy asks if Phaedra was being shady on the last episode of RHOA by wearing black and white stripes to visit Apollo in prison. She says no. She says she had to combine three different dresses because of all of the rules for prison visits, but swears it wasn’t on purpose. Andy says he’s not sure if he believes her.
Andy plays a clip from next week’s nasty lunch between Kandi and Phaedra where they both are shady ass umbrellas. Andy says Phaedra wasn’t laughing when it happened, but she says “I really was because she was very hostile and it was like ‘where is this hostility coming from’? This has been going on for three seasons now. Get a new storyline.”
A viewer asks how the press and paparazzi got inside her office building. “It’s open. You can come in. Now they have changed it after this debacle.”
The first caller asks Phaedra what her relationship status with Kandi is. “All good things come to an end and it ended almost two years ago. There is very polite and cordial but there is no relationship.”
Andy asks if she and NeNe Leakes are still buddies. “I haven’t talked to NeNe lately. She’s been traveling and doing her tours. We haven’t been able to connect because I’ve traveling quite a bit as well.”
A caller asks Phaedra what kind of man she’s looking for. Immediately Shemar starts kissing her on the neck and the cheek. She giggles “well I found him. I’m looking no further, he’s right here beside me.” There is a lot of weirdness going on tonight and Andy even says he’s not sure what is happening.
Andy reads a viewer question regarding the latest TMZ report that Apollo is claiming the divorce is invalid because she filed with misspelled last names. (She used Nita instead of Nida). “TMZ reported it correctly the first time. We are divorced.”
Andy tells Phaedra he’s confused over the bomb threat situation. On the one hand she said it was no big deal, just a guy trying to drop off his music but then on the other hand she brought in the Nation of Islam for security. “Anytime there’s any threat, risk management requires that you obviously take it seriously. So, anyone who knows me, knows that I am with the Nation of Islam quite often. Louis Farrakhan, I consider him a close friend of mine, so that’s nothing new for me. They’re always there for me and I’m always there for their 10,000 fearless, so we work together quite a bit. So, when this happened, they are the best for security, so I called them.”

Proceed with...To say that Todd Tucker and Kandi Burruss’s mother, Mama Joyce, have come a long way would be the understatement of the century. After all of the drama that had gone down over the years, I never thought these two would be able to be in the same room. Color me shocked that Mama Joyce and Todd are actually getting along. And Mama Joyce took things a step further than that by planning a romantic night for him and Kandi during the last episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta.
I bet all new parents would love for anyone to volunteer herself for a night of babysitting, but am I the only one who would be a little taken back by a mother laying out the sexy products for a daughter and son-in-law. That’s a little strange, right? It was a very sweet gesture that seemed very genuine, but it still wasn’t typical from my mother/daughter experience so I’m curious to know what Kandi thinks about all of that.

I am really pulling for Kandi and Todd to make it as a couple – especially when there are no other solid relationships on this show, but I felt like the camera should have cut away to give them some private time as soon as Kandi slipped into that lingerie. Kandi looked amazing, but I felt kind of awkward being in the room (basically) for all of that.
Then I remembered that this was all going down courtesy of Mama Joyce which I found to be hilarious given her contentious history with Todd and just the fact that she put out sex toys for her daughter and brother-in-law. Then again, Kandi does sell sex toys, so it might not have been that weird for her to be talking about those kind of products.
Nevertheless, Kandi did not expect her mother to lay out a date night in that manner. Kandi explained her surprise in an interview with Bravo, “Of course! I was shocked. It was really nice though.”
Kandi also said, “When you have a new baby, all attention goes to the baby and you don’t think to make time for the intimate nights. So I was happy.”
Props to Mama Joyce. Who would have thought that Mama Joyce would be the one consciously trying to keep this couple together!? It’s a stark contrast from her past mission to break them up.
And in case anyone was wondering, Kandi was directly asked, “Did you guys get your groove back that night?” And yes, Kandi actually answered, “Of course! You have to take advantage of your time when you have a babysitter.” Good for them. Praise Mama Joyce.
