Kara Keough Gets Tattoo In Honor Of Her Late Son With His Ashes In The Ink

Real Housewives of Orange County fans have kept Kara Keough and the rest of her family in their thoughts recently. Jeana Keough’s daughter suffered an absolutely tragic loss when her son McCoy Bosworth died following a complication in childbirth last month. Following his passing, Kara has been very open about what she’s been going through, which is something that many families can relate to, sadly enough.

In the midst of grieving her newborn son McCoy, Kara broke the news that her father Matt Keough died suddenly. RHOC viewers recall that Matt and Jeana were separated for decades, only to officially divorce in 2019. Jeana revealed that Matt passed away from a pulmonary embolism. Both Kara and Jeana have made themselves very vulnerable to the public as they navigate this difficult time in their lives.

Kara recently revealed that she got a letter “M” tattoo in honor of her late son via Instagram post. She shared a photo of herself cuddling a bear stuffed animal, with her new wrist tattoo on display. Kara wrote, “This bear weighs exactly 11 pounds and 4 ounces. Exactly the size of the hole in my heart. But thanks to this thoughtful gift, my arms don’t feel so painfully empty. I can’t quite articulate how much carrying the exact weight of McCoy against my body grounds me. I think my physical need for him will be there forever, the heaviness of his absence always present. But this sure helps.”

Kara shared, “Also feeling thankful for my new (first) tattoo, with my son’s ashes in the ink… so that my baby can be with me always. He can stay forever in my arms this way, in the place he last rested.”

The RHOC alum admitted, “I know I’m privileged in my grief, to have the support of so many. It’s very hard to feel lucky right now, and yet, somehow, I know I am. That being said, I’m very much ready for the dick kicks to stop. To the poor Shipt shopper who remarked ‘the baby should have been born by now, right?’ and the shocked insurance agent, and the others who didn’t mean to throw the grenades they did… when I say ‘It’s okay,’ I don’t mean ‘I’m okay,’ I’m saying I know you didn’t know. But I promise, you’re not upsetting me by ‘reminding’ me, I’ll never need a reminder.”

She continued, “I’m just sad that the answer to your question isn’t what I hoped it would be. It should be a joyful Q&A, not a landmine. It should be different. Instead, here I am, clutching a stuffed toy wishing it was a real boy.”

Kara concluded, “To my Instead Mamas, I thank you especially for all the continued comfort, encouragement, and love. And you’re right, it is getting easier to bear. (Look! I even did a pun. Good for me.)”

We applaud Kara for being so open and honest. There are, unfortunately, a lot of other “Instead Mamas” who feel connected to Kara and possibly comforted to see that someone else has similar emotions right now. We are sending positive thoughts to Kara and the rest of her family.

Real Housewives Of Atlanta Reunion Part 3 Recap: Yo’Vanna Talk About It?!

Oh man, Real Housewives Of Atlanta season 12 has officially ended, and with it so many things we hold to be near and dear – like NeNe Leakes‘ dignity. Haaaa… just kidding. That got ripped off with a wig about 5 seasons ago!

NeNe never managed to return for the remainder of the reunion. Close your legs to married men; close your laptop to scary women! Eva Marcille predicts that NeNe was running scared after she learned her now-former friend Yovanna Momplaisir was secretly invited to the reunion and was coming with the good dirt. Yovanna accidentally spilled the tea by posting about it on Instagram. Not that NeNe wouldn’t have just ‘walked out‘ the second Yovanna appeared on the screen.

See, no good deed goes unpunished. NeNe was trying to promote her thirsty friend, Yovanna. However, these jump-offs always turn on their springboard. And the higher the heels the farther the fall!

Andy Cohen was just about to break down Cynthia Bailey‘s dysfunctional friendships with NeNe and Kenya Moore when NeNe bailed, so he winds up showing the clip package to NeNe’s empty screen. So Cynthia ends up just making one excuse after another for Kenya’s bullshit with no one to interrupt with a scathing diatribe about how Kenya is a busted egg salad sandwich on day-old pumpernickel bread with a no real marriage insight and this why she has the heart of a sea lion and deserves to have someone spit on her. Or some stank NeNe logic that is just preposterous.

Seriously, though, Cynthia is pathetic when it comes to Kenya. I know this is old news – older than Kenya’s biological clock according to NeNe’s calendar – but it really is sad to just watch her make justification after justification, and claim she forgives Kenya because she is always sincere in her apologies. Lady, you are too damn Fifty-Three Cyn to be actually believing this shit and I cannot believe that Porsha Williams was the only person calling Kenya out!

Cynthia is also full of crap regarding her involvement with the Cookie Lady. LORD, talk about stale! Can we stop trying to make Crumbles, the generic chocolate chip, happen? Cynthia claims she was trying to do Tanya Sam a solid by inviting Cookie Lady to tell her tale at Brooklyn’s party, therefore it wasn’t an ambush like what Kenya did at the brunch. Um, did Cynthia WARN Tanya that cookie lady may appear? I think not! Kandi Burruss is not here for this and sees exactly what Cynthia is doing – trying to sweep her mess under the train of her ball gown.

I actually really like Cynthia. I don’t find her to be boring, but I do find her Little Miss Innocent act insincere and silly. Why can’t she admit she was being shady towards Tanya in order to create drama on Real Housewives Of Atlanta?Why can’t Cynthia acknowledge that Kenya was jealous of her friendship with Eva and is trying to punish her?

At least Cynthia told Kenya she went too far with hinting that Mike Hill was planning to propose the night of the surprise proposal party! Kenya, sat there with her fake ‘who me?’ face, and kept insisting she was just excited for her friend. Bullllshit. Kenya always treats Cynthia like collateral damage, aka someone disposable. When Kenya is angry about her own situations or feels that Cynthia isn’t staying in line, she lashes out. Porsha and Tanya are the only ones pointing this out, although Porsha just starts yelling, and sometimes her points get lost in her self-inflated drama. I do love Porsha though. She brings a lightness to this show that is desperately needed!

Porsha’s issue with Kenya is that she just won’t admit that she’s calculating and scheming, but instead tries to play victim when anyone lashes back. Kenya insists that everything she does is in retaliation and that she doesn’t provoke people. Expect what did Cynthia ever do to her? Other than try to rekindle her friendship with NeNe…

Kenya is questioned about refusing to accept the olive branches NeNe extended both before filming and once news of “Ken’s” divorce broke. See, I actually agree with Kenya’s decision here. She knew NeNe was being insincere, and only wanted to fake-make amends to save face and give herself some insurance and relevance on RHOA. Especially after the divorce I feel Kenya was wise to steer clear. I do think Kenya could have rejected NeNe with a little more class. Instead of going Krayonce, she could’ve gone Mrs. Ken Daly.

Porsha’s other issue is that Kenya repeatedly used Shamea Morton this season. First at Porsha’s Rainbow charity lunch. Then at Kandi’s baby shower when Kenya claimed she just wanted to talk to Shamea, just when she happened to be sitting next to NeNe, whom Kenya was currently – like at that very moment – having an argument with! Porsha calls that out for exactly what it was. Kenya tried provoke NeNe by getting in her proximity, thus trying to instigate her going too far.

Not only is this completely transparent (and ‘So Kenya‘), but it’s also genuinely thoughtless towards her friend, Kandi, who was trying to thank her surrogate and got interrupted by NeNe and Kenya’s screeching in the audience. When you have to call security on your friends during your baby shower, it might be time to get some new friends. Or in Kandi’s situation when you have to call security on your Made-For-TV Friends during your baby shower, it might be time to get a new TV show. Preferably one all about you!

The way NeNe treated Kenya, particularly in Greece, was beyond the pale and completely reprehensible, but the way NeNe treats everyone is appalling. As we’ll soon see when Yovanna joins and finally exposes fake-snake-gate.

According to Yovanna, who is wearing what looks like a slutty graduation gown, NeNe solicited her to come on this show and associate with these women purely to gather dirt for her. NeNe asked Yovanna to record the women secretly, and then let her listen to the recordings.

Yovanna pretended to comply, but insists she never actually recorded Cynthia. Instead she suddenly developed a conscience that getting on TV wasn’t worth breaking the law and violating people’s trust. Or did Yovanna suddenly realize that NeNe was a non-factor on Real Housewives Of Atlanta and she’d have better luck getting cast if she formed friendships with the other ladies, except she was still beholden to NeNe and also afraid of her so she tried to play both sides of the fence until her luck ran out? After all, nobody likes a snitch!

Well, Yovanna chose well in refusing to comply with NeNe’s nonsense. However when she finally informed NeNe that she was done informing for her, NeNe canceled their friendship, then sent Yovanna a cease & desist letter barring her from revealing any recorded audio or information she may have. Instead Yovanna went ahead and ‘hired’ Michael Sterling, as in Eva’s husband who is now in private practice so they can up their lifestyle in the hopes of being fabulous enough to stay on this show.

It kills two birds with one stone in giving both Yovanna and Eva some relevance and leverage as far as returning next season, and it does look like they’ll be at least two vacancies: NeNe and Cynthia, and possibly 3 if Kandi decides to only focus on her solo show. Although I can’t imagine Kandi giving up paychecks of any kind!

Anyway, Yoanna’s attorney said she didn’t do anything wrong. She is free to come on the RHOA reunion to talk shit about NeNe to defend herself. I am so confused. I thought Yovanna and NeNe were genuine friends for decades. But, now Real Housewives of Atlanta has suddenly come between them? I guess Yovanna didn’t like being used. I understand, but I’m super disappointed in NeNe for destroying a friendship this way. Anything to protect her voracious ego!

So in the end Snake-Gate was never a thing. It, like so many other situations, was a fabrication in NeNe’s mind. But, it worked as far as getting her back in the game and into the mix with the rest of the women. Cynthia is shocked and disappointed to learn that NeNe was behind all of this. NeNe tried to coerce Yovanna into using her budding friendships with the women to obtain information to use against them.

Yovanna isn’t the bone carrier, she’s the faux python skin carrier. Or rather she is picking up the skin snakes shed and bringing it to a wannabe Christian Louboutin asking him to make shoes. She should step off instead.

Rumor has it Yovanna will be back next season, but can anyone really trust her now? Also does she really have a storyline if NeNe doesn’t return? Clearly Yovanna only matters if she’s planning to come up against RHOA’s self-described queen.

Kristen Doute Opens Up About Sexual Assault Experience In Her New Book

 

Vanderpump Rules star Kristen Doute recently said that Scheana Marie carried the latest season of the show, but I’d have to say that Kristen did her fair share as well. A majority of the season was focused on her falling out with Stassi Schroeder and Katie Maloney over her on-again-off-again relationship with Brian Carter. 

Stassi and Katie might not have appreciated the back and forth, but fans appreciated Kristen’s honesty. Relationships can be messy. And now Kristen is about to get even more honest and real about her personal life in her upcoming book, He’s Making You Crazy.

E! News reported that Kristen was on Gretchen Rossi and Slade Smiley’s Knot Too Taboo podcast, where she shared the details as to why she decided to add a chapter to her book that focused on her experience with sexual assault. 

Kristen stated that at first, the experience wasn’t even top of mind for her book. But when her co-author, Michele Alexander, asked  if she had “ever experience sexual assault,” Kristen said, “I just blurted out yes.”

She said she “struggled” with deciding to add this chapter because the overall tone of the book is “lighter-hearted and funny.” But in the end, she and Michele thought it was best. 

Kristen said, “If we’re being very, very honest with the reader, we have to be honest about everything…I don’t get into my personal story in detail by any means, but I really thought it was important to let the reader know I have been through it.”

She added, “When you read the chapter, at the time I wasn’t brave enough to step forward. I did make a lot of excuses. I tried to rhyme and reason why did I put myself in that position? Or was I too drunk? Or, like, how could it be my fault? Am I going to ruin his life? Are people going to believe me?” 

Kristen continued, “All these thoughts racing through my head and I really tried to shut it down for so long that I finally had to come to terms with it that, like, this did happen to me and I need to not let it affect every relationship moving forward.”

She added, “I need to deal with all of this stuff and really know my self-worth and not allow those things to be dragged into my next relationship with a man who could be wonderful and trustworthy and honest and great and not kind of blame him for the things that have happened to me in the past.”

Kristen had said that writing about sleeping with Jax Taylor was the hardest part about writing her book, but I can’t imagine this was any easier. It was incredibly brave for Kristen to come forward. I’m sure fans will continue to appreciate her openness and honesty.

Ryan & Briana Culberson Reveal Gender Of Their Third Child

The Real Housewives of Orange County viewers have had an up and down relationship with Vicki Gunvalson over the years. Sure, she can be entertaining and she brings constant drama, but she also managed to alienate a lot of the fans as well.

The complete opposite can be said about Vicki’s daughter Briana Culberson. Viewers have loved Briana and have been rooting for her since the very beginning of the show. She has always been such a likable person, often serving as the voice of reason (that her mother should have listened to). Fans saw Briana getting ready for her high school’s senior prom. Now, she and her husband Ryan Culberson are expecting their third child together. They already have two sons, Troy and Owen.

Ryan shared a video from the baby’s gender reveal over the weekend. He captioned the post with “It’s a ???” and pink and blue heart emojis. The video showed clouds of blue smoke, indicating that the Culbersons are expecting their third son.

In response to the post, Vicki commented, “Congrats Culberson’s!!!!”

90 Day Fiance Before The 90 Days Recap: Hard Habit To Break

Last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance Before The 90 Days was full of disappointment and goodbyes for many. I’m still confused why these people are clinging to these relationships so desperately. There is clearly a multitude of issues that are just being ignored. Others have decided to run while they had the chance. Either way I am still thoroughly entertained!

David tries to get closer to Lana. Avery Warner says goodbye to Ash Naeck. Geoffrey Paschel finds himself caught in the middle of a sticky situation. Stephanie Matto reunites with her mom. Drama ensues when Lisa Hamme meets with Usman Umar‘s elders. Let’s get straight into the recap!

David, 60 (Nevada) & Lana, 27 (Ukraine)

After 7 years of talking on the internet and 4 failed attempts to meet, David finally gets to take Lana on a date.  Whew, this is one awkward encounter. Everything from the lack of communication to the stalker stare David keeps giving her is enough to make even me, uncomfortable. In a post interview, Lana admits she loves to get money and gifts from David. She declines to give an amount she has collected over the years when asked. When David confesses that he hired a private investigator, she immediately wants to go home.

After scaring Lana off the night before, David has managed to secure a second date. Once again he shows up in that horrible leather trench coat. Ugh! While David is planning their marriage in his mind, she seems to be counting the minutes until she can leave. David takes her bowling and places a friendly wager to attempt to get a kiss. Given that he was once a professional bowler, we may be forced to witness it. When he goes in for the kill, she looks alarmed. In a post interview, Lana claims she wants to get to know him better, before anything physical. I guess that means it will be another 7 years before their next visit. She has already made it clear that she is too busy to spend too much time with him. Oh David, wake up man! I’m sure you can find another mail order bride who has a sense of urgency and better acting skills.

David takes Lana to a romantic dinner to discuss their future. He is convinced that she is the woman for him after meeting her. When he talks about getting engaged and asks her to go back to his hotel room, Lana declines both. She asks him for more time to decide if she is willing to marry him. So… sounds like the answer is no.

Geoffrey, 41 (Knoxville, Tenn.) & Varya, 30 (Russia)

When we last left Geoffrey he was shocked to see Varya Malina  at his front door. She is just as shocked to see his new love interest Mary, inside the house so early in the morning. SMH… What a tangled web we weave, when you already replaced your Russian ex-girlfriend with a rebound. Varya is infuriated that Geoffrey already has replaced her so quickly. Mary is caught completely off guard when she is met with Varya’s ire and Geoffrey’s indifference to the situation.

Geoffrey is definitely enjoying having two women fight over him. When Varya is finally admitted entrance into the house, Geoffrey questions why she didn’t call before she came over. While he is still confused about his feelings, she wants to revive their relationship. If I were Mary I would never speak to him again. The way he handled the situation made me feel so bad for her. How embarrassing to be used on national television, especially by one of your best friends.

Geoffrey takes Varya to meet his friends for drinks. He tells them what happened when Varya and Mary encountered one another. I’m not sure this was the smartest idea, considering these are also Mary’s friends. Things get even more awkward when Mary shows up to join the fun. I can’t wait until next week to see how this unfolds. Hopefully Mary finds a cute guy at the bar to flirt with.

 

Stephanie, 29 (New York) & Erika, 24 (Australia)

After spending weeks arguing, Stephanie is finally on her way back home, all by her lonesome. Erika Owens hasn’t spoken to her since they broke up and was kicked her out of their hotel room. Honestly, I think Stephanie has some emotional problems. You would have to be crazy to argue every day and think someone is going to keep turning the other cheek.

When Stephanie arrives home, her mother can sense something is off. She still isn’t comfortable telling her mom the full truth about her trip and her sexuality. I am not sure if she ever will be. Personally, I believe she broke up with Erika, just so she didn’t have to reveal her secret.

Lisa, 52 (York, Pa.) & Usman “SojaBoy,” 30 (Nigeria)

Lisa and Usman are still fighting ever since the text messages between him and another woman were discovered. Now she is demanding that he properly propose, before their wedding. Hmm… maybe if this shrew would lay off the man for just one day, he would be inclined to do so. Usman surprises Lisa on one knee with a ring when she least expects it. I guess after waiting until the last possible minute, Usman has steeled himself to suffer face his fate.

Usman’s family travels to meet the newly engaged couple for their wedding. It’s only a matter of time before Lisa shows her true self. Usman’s brothers join him and Lisa for dinner to talk. She asks her future brother- in- laws opinion on their relationship. Usman is shocked she would  bring up their problems in front of his family who may try to challenge their union. As the conversation progresses, you can virtually see smoke coming from Lisa’s ears. Everyone is speaking calmly, but they get the see the real Lisa when she begins screaming and storms away. Did she really think his family would blindly take her side? All they said is that she shouldn’t expect him to be with her all day. This woman has literally flipped out on Usman’s friends and brothers. Who is next, mama Usman?

Avery, 32 (Seattle) & Ash, 38 (Australia)

Ash and Avery discuss their plans for the future before she returns to the U.S. Neither of them wants to uproot Ash from his son at such a tender age.  But they are committed to continue working on their relationship. Although Avery thought they would be engaged by the end of the trip, she now realizes its best they wait. It’s unclear when these two will see each other again. Ash may have to wait at least a year to get an Australian passport.

At the airport, Avery expresses her concern about their relationship now that she is leaving. Ash promises he will make getting a passport and visiting a priority. The distance is definitely going to be an issue. They seem optimistic now, but almost a year is a long time to wait to see someone. Sadly, that is only one of their problems.

 

Ed, 54 (San Diego) & Rosemarie, 23 (Philippines)

Ed Brown has returned home from the Philippines and is barely able to contain his tears when asked about his trip. He is forced to admit what happened when his mom inquires “How is Rose.”  Looks like he forgets to mention how he judged Rose and her lifestyle constantly. He only recounts the portions of the story about not wanting anymore children or her past. Sorry Ed, but I don’t blame Rose. He was speaking to that woman as if he didn’t have things she could point out to embarrass him. SMH…

Reality Tea Hopes That Our Readers Have A Happy/Safe Memorial Day

We are thankful to all of the military personnel who had died while serving in the United States Armed Forces and send well wishes to their friends and family members.

We hope that all of our Reality Tea readers are having a happy and safe Memorial Day weekend.

The Real Housewives Of Atlanta Reunion Concludes Tonight

During the latest episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion, NeNe Leakes walked out. It’s unclear if that is the end of her time on the reunion or if she will be back for more fighting on part 3.

The season 12 reunion concludes with one more episode. And that means we will have to sit through yet another Yovanna Momplaisir appearance. No one cares about Yovanna. Bravo just needs to stop trying to make Yovanna happen. No one wants to see her. Ever.

Yovanna shows up to “clear her name,” which is laughable since we all just viewed her as a dehydrated thirst monster hoping for camera time. She has no name to clear. She made a poor impression on us from the beginning. Why was she invited to this? But, perhaps, it has something to do with NeNe’s disappearance. Perhaps, NeNe didn’t want to be confronted by Yovanna in person; i.e. via video chat.

Yovanna better deliver this time. For the first time ever.

And, once again, Cynthia and Kenya Moore’s strange friendship is questioned.
