Real Housewives Of New Jersey Recap: Let Them Eat Crumbs

Melissa

Melissa

On last night’s Real Housewives Of New Jersey, desperation and delusion was in the air…I am pretty sure that scent is sprayed over Montville with a crop duster.

Siggy Flicker doesn’t seem to understand that her children are not squishy stuffed animals she can squeeze, squeal at, dress up, and toss around. On the other hand, Siggy’s children don’t understand that she is their mother and they should show her some respect! I dunno maybe it has something to do with Siggy decorating her daughter’s room in No.1 Sophie paraphernalia? Or acting like One Direction has showed up every time she sees Josh?

When Josh returns home from passing his driver’s test, the very first words out of mouth are “When are you gonna buy me a car?” Someone is driving straight into his future on the Teresa Giudice entitlement train!

Siggy lectures Josh

Dolores Catania is the opposite of Siggy – she’s too relaxed! Dolores doesn’t know where her son Frankie is half the time, and she also doesn’t know where the other half of her kitchen is. Which is funny because her business partner doesn’t know where SHE is 80% of the time, even though she’s supposed to be, you know, working!

When Dolores finally appears at the gym she co-owns following a two week absence (which she blames on putting her dog to sleep), Dolores admits to being co-dependent on Frank, because some part of her doesn’t want to break the pattern of her upbringing to be an independent woman. Dolores’ business partner is not a shrink and isn’t here for her whining about ‘holding herself back.’ He demands she get more present in the gym or the money shortages are coming out of Frank’s her pocket. Hitting Dolores in Frank’s her pocketbook (aka NO MORE MONEY FOR SHOPPING AND SHOES) seems to work: she suggests they start hosting single women nights over the weekend to bring in more members.

I don’t understand – wasn’t Dolores engaged to someone else and she’s been divorced for like 15 years – yet all this time Frank has still been taking care of her and paying all her bills? What is going on here?!

On the other side of the equation, is Melissa Gorga, who is experiencing a personal revolution in the form of a feminist awakening. I dunno – I’m not into the ridiculous nonsense of Melissa, former author of Secrets Of A Hot & Happy Italian Marriage, teaching Women’s Lib from the walls of the massive New Jersey mansion Poison “put” her in.

While Poison is making lunch (?) for his kids by flinging food at them, Melissa arrives home after a long day at Envy – which Poison also ‘put’ her in. He immediately demands she go into “the movie theater” for a reminder of her wifely duties. Poison lectures Melissa for abandoning her family and trying to turn him into a woman because he’s now forced to pick up HIS kids from the bus stop so she can earn “crumbs.” Crumbs which he doesn’t want because, he’s earning The Cake!

Melissa and Joe argue

Poison doesn’t want Melissa’s crumbs, but he does want to her to have a home cooked dinner on the table, so she better get her ass in the kitchen! Something about this argument just seems so staged. Maybe it’s the bad acting? I totally believe there’s a part of Poison who wants a traditional Italian wife, but their arguing about this appears really fake. And Melissa’s acting is as natural as her singing.

Melissa is so distraught by Poison’s attitude she invites relationship expert Siggy over. Siggy has to let herself in through the backdoor because Melissa was so busy cleaning on the other side of her massive house, she didn’t hear Siggy ringing the bell! Siggy also found an envelope in the snow outside their front door. Siggy is a master at nosiness! Melissa complains that her spotless house is messy, blaming her kids and dog. I blame the neanderthal she married who is probably tracking mud and animal matter into the house after his long day hunting game for their food. Me Joe Kill Beaver.

Teresa brings her daughters to Jacqueline Laurita‘s for a playdate with Nicholas. Actually this was really cute. Teresa explains that Milania is exactly like Joe – a hard nut on the outside, but soft and gooey in the middle. Sort of like a Cadbury Creme Egg! Milania is adorably patient and sweet with Nick, just like Teresa is adorably patient and sweet with the unhinged Jac.

It’s refreshing to see the ‘person’ side of Teresa who I’ve long mistook for an experiment from Dr. Xavier’s mutant laboratory, but I suppose with Juicy having one foot inside the prison cell and subsisting on a diet of vino, it’s only natural that some of Teresa’s carelessly unhinged facade start to reassemble fragments of a normal human being with emotions. Their attorney stops by to check in as Joe‘s ‘away’ date looms nearer. The attorney encourages Joe to use his sentence to focus on ‘me time’ – since prison is a spa vacation for overwhelmed law students hosted by their university, and all.

Speaking of, Teresa and Joe do a couples yoga-massage thing which was distractingly icky. A relaxed Teresa definitely lets her delusion flag fly. She’s worried about what to tell the girls about Joe’s absence. She told them she was at a book retreat  – like literally ‘away’ working on her book – and believes they never knew she was in prison! Teresa is shocked when Joe tells her the kids aren’t stupid, plus they have access to the internet, PLUS they VISITED HER IN PRISON. So they knew full-well she wasn’t just writing a book. “But, I did write a book,” protests Teresa. When Joe Giudice is telling you that lying is a bad idea, it’s time to reevaluate your life choices. Ironically, Teresa was in prison under the auspice of doing just that. Namaste In Denial, yous!

I completely understand Teresa wanting to protect her daughters, but lying is NOT the way to do that! I’m no parenting relationship expert like Siggy, but even I know that when the truth is obviously staring your kids in the face, trying to whitewash it with a fib is gonna come back to slap you in the ass!

Melissa returns to the kitchen where she belongs

Just like pretending to appease your overbearing misogynistic husband by pretending you love cooking his meatballs and caressing them with sauce just to get him off your back – it’s only gonna make him notice more that there’s less ‘dinner on the table at 6’ happening. No matter how many polygamous commune blouses Melissa puts on, no matter how many times she squeals that she loves her role as wife and mom and caressing Joe’s juicy peperoncini, we all know that Melissa’s secrets of a “hot and happy Italian marriage” burned because she tried to mislead Poison with quick re-heating leftovers.

Since she went to work for ten minutes, Dolores decides to reward herself with dinner and wine at Kathy Wakile‘s house. Kathy’s kitchen looks identical to Melissa’s right down to the molding, by the way. Kathy and Rosie complain that Teresa is not treating every day like a gift, because she doesn’t want a relationship with them. Is it because oh, I dunno, over and over again they claim that they “just want their family back,” but then get on TV to trash Teresa?

Kathy yells Rosie-style about Teresa turning her back, then Rosie practices Kathy’s phony Strega Nona diplomacy by deciding they should attend Teresa’s upcoming book signing and wave the white flag of peace (a Barnes & Noble receipt?), becuase they must mend their family. Dolores laughs wryly that there’s no ending to an Italian feud until somebody dies, and even then…

Whatever Wallpaper.

Siggy takes Josh to an uber-expensive restaurant for his birthday dinner. They are joined by her ex-husband, Mark, his new wife, and their toddler. Siggy, who is basically Caroline Manzo 2.0, gushes that family is the most important thing, and that’s why she set up her ex with his new wife.

Siggy gifts her son with a car

Over dinner, Siggy starts crying because Joshua, age 17, doesn’t want her touching his butt and petting him like he’s the cat to her lonely life. Siggy just wants her children to realize how much she loves them. So she buys their love with super expensive new cars! Well at least Josh was grateful for that. I’m guessing he’ll never let Siggy ride in it, though!

In a limo to the book signing, Joe caresses Teresa’s leg and tells her she looks hot. That was nice for a change! Jacqueline, who’s working extra hard to act normal, goes to the signing with Chris and Dolores. Dolores warns her that Kathy and Rosie are planning to show up to broker peace on neutral territory. Chris is relieved the police are there – just in case.

If Kathy and Rosie really want to mend their relationship with Teresa, barging into her book signing, in front of RHONJ cameras, doesn’t’ seem like the most sincere approach. Even if they slump over, book between their legs, pretending to be fans, and beseeching Teresa to give them a chance. Also, it’s embarrassingly desperate!

Teresa is right – sending one text congratulating her on her book isn’t ‘being there.’ They never reached out while she was in prison!

Rosie and Kathy beg Teresa

While Teresa is turning on the charm to fans, sniffling that she’s so grateful they didn’t abandon their love for her because she made one little itsy-bitsy teensy-weeny mistake, Kathy and Rosie arrive. Jacqueline and Dolores hide in the corner, watching through their hands while pretending to take selfies, as Rosie begs Teresa to just have lunch with them “for an hour” so they can talk.

“My time is really precious right now,” Teresa replies, icing them so hard and so cold I think the TV got frostbite. Teresa pretends she thought she responded to Kathy’s text, but she isn’t sure… she’s just like really busy, you know, having a life that doesn’t involve desperately stalking the cousin you couldn’t stand last season!

Teresa

I’m glad Teresa isn’t falling for this fake BS!

Instead, Teresa is focusing on rebuilding her relationship with Melissa and Joe. While Teresa is sucking up to Melissa to piss Kathy off, Rosie corners Juicy to apologize for calling him an a-hole and begging him to love her again. Joe responds by storming out. Teresa soon follows.

Kathy and Rosie (and Jacqueline) need to chill on the hardcore desperado act. Teresa’s coattails only extend so far…

TELL US – SHOULD TERESA GIVE KATHY AND ROSIE ANOTHER CHANCE? IS JOE BEING AN UNSUPPORTIVE A-HOLE TO MELISSA? OR IS MELISSA FEEDING HER FAMILY ‘CRUMBS’?

90 Day Fiance Season Premiere Recap: You Say Goodbye, I Say Hello

90 Day Fiance Season Premiere Recap

90 Day Fiance Season Premiere Recap

It has been nearly a year since we last traveled the road with love-struck Americans and their overseas fiances for the 90-day journey that, in my opinion, turns into one of THE best reality television shows out there. Yes, folks, 90-Day Fiance is back for season 4 on TLC, and last night’s multi-episode premiere started off what looks to be an epic season filled with true love, super sketchy fiances, and – wait for it – Danielle and Mohammed updates from season 2!!! (We won’t be recapping the past season update, but feel free to comment below. 🙂 )

In case we missed the antics of that totally tragic couple, we’re presented with Danielle and Mohammed 2.0 this season in the “love affair” of Nicole and Azan. I swear, TLC combed the planet just to find these two. I guess we can offer thanks that there won’t be a Mark and Nikki 2.0 joining us for another American Horror Story installment since Mark has probably already buried her body in his  basement. #SmallVictories But, before we look back, let’s see who’s on the docket to get hitched this season!

CLICK THE CONTINUE READING BUTTON FOR MORE!

First, a quick highlights reel of the Countdown to the New Season preview special.

Nicole-Peach-Shirt-90-Day-Fiance

Before the couples reunite for their 90-day K-1 Visa process, we are given a sneak peek into the circumstances that initially brought them together. Meet Nicole, a Florida resident, who has a toddler daughter and extreme, tragic delusions that her foreign boyfriend is The One. Azan, from Morocco, likes to take shirtless selfies of his guns and hunt for gullible American women in his downtime. They are essentially a match made in hell.

Azan-Shirtless-Selfie-90-Day-Fiance

Nicole has no idea where Morocco is, but she booked a flight there anyway to spend 5 weeks with Azan, leaving her daughter behind in the care of her sister. Nicole’s reasons for falling in love with Azan? “He’s hot!” she giggles. Nicole’s family is terrified she’s getting conned. And that she’ll get caned for breaking a law while abroad! They don’t know whether she’ll come home with a fiance or in a body bag. There is not enough prayer in the world to save this situation.

Matt-Burgundy-Shirt-Headshot-90-Day-Fiance

Matt, a country boy from Kentucky, is engaged to Alla, Ukrainian. With the largest age gap between them (Matt is 42, Alla is 30), they in no way approach the exquisite creepiness of Mark and Nikki last season. Matt does have some ex-wife baggage though – three of them! He’s been “unlucky in love,” but hopes Alla is his lucky number 4. Alla has a 6-year old son, Max, who Matt doesn’t consider baggage at all. He considers Max a blessing, which is very sweet. Matt and Alla have met in person several times, traveling to exotic locales throughout their “love story.” But Alla is “very different” from Matt’s exes (read: pole dancer), so he hopes his family and friends will accept her as his wife.

Chantel-Pedro-Beach-Hug-90-Day-Fiance

Pedro, from the Dominican Republic, and Chantel, an Atlanta native, were set up through some sort of “Learn to Speak Spanish” program. Which resulted in Chantel: 1) falling in love with Pedro, 2) agreeing to marry Pedro, 3) bringing him to the US on a K-1 Visa to move in with and wed her, and 4) lying to her parents about THE ENTIRE THING! Chantel told her parents that Pedro just happens to be coming to the US on a student visa. She knows they’ll freak if she tells them the truth. She describes her family as close knit, with no one ever getting any privacy. So, solid plan, Chantel!

Anfisa-Jorge-City-90-Day-Fiance

Next is the crown jewel of this season’s couples: LA resident Jorge and Russian-born total con artist Anfisa. Jorge owns a medical marijuana supply company which gives him a lucrative 6 figure income, but hasn’t made him a millionaire yet – though he expects to be there one day! Anfisa can smell a potential millionaire 10,000 miles away though, as she set her sights on Jorge via an internet dating site, then demands luxury gifts out of him ever after.

Jorge admits to spending somewhere in the neighborhood of $70k on Anfisa thus far, and she hasn’t even come to live with him yet. But when he draws the line at buying her a $10k Chanel bag before his flight to meet her in Russia, Anfisa goes MEDIEVAL on his accounts (which Jorge stupidly gave her all of the passwords to), canceling his iPhone and changing his email password before he can stop her from cancelling his flight. We leave the preview with Jorge wondering if he is even going to Russia after all? Bottom line: This girl is a problem. Jorge’s sister and niece already realize this, but is Jorge too desperate to call it quits?

Narkyia-Pink-Shirt-Denim-Jacket-90-Day-Fiance

Our fifth couple is not covered in last night’s preview, but we’ll be seeing more of them in the coming weeks. 36-year old US resident Narkyia and 28-year old Nigerian native Olulowo (“Lowo”) round out the group. The couple apparently met after Lowo catfished Narkyia on a site for “big beautiful women,” then admitted to it later.

Thus, from the extended preview we learn the following: Love hath no brains. Now, on to the full episode!

Nicole is ready to embark on her five-week trip to Morocco. She drops off her daughter May with her sister Ashley and sets sail (well, flight) for Parts Unknown. As her family drives to her at the airport, Nicole calls Azan for one final “I love you” which sounds anything but sincere coming from Azan’s mouth. Nicole’s mom mentions this point. She also makes Nicole promise she’ll take care of herself over there, but doesn’t look convinced Nicole is even capable of such a thing.

Meanwhile, Matt is awaiting Alla’s arrival. Matt’s mom is excited – she bought balloons! But she is wise enough to know that life is unpredictable, especially when you are inviting a woman and her child into your life “forever.” Matt does wonder if Max will resent him for interfering in his and his mother’s life, but he hopes for the best.

Chantel-Black-Neglige-90-Day-Fiance

Back at the airport, Chantel is attempting to pick up Pedro for the second time. He apparently “missed” his first flight. <side eye> He shows! And the couple embrace with a long awaited kiss. Pedro says he loves her and, from the look of this smooch, Chantel is at the very least in lust with him. She’s also redoubled her efforts on the sextytimes lingerie for his pleasure, which she donned at botched airport pickup #1. Oh snap! She also arranged the rose petal/heart/poem/photo/candle situation in the bedroom again. Although Pedro is most impressed by the air conditioning and hot water on demand. #NotPicky

Jorge-Phone-Bed-90-Day-Fiance

The duped Jorge is still trying to contact Anfisa, who shut down his digital world over a Chanel handbag. She’s not picking up. And he’s obviously not going to Russia. (Jorge: HIDE YOUR PASSPORT!) Jorge is still trying to make this engagement happen though, which is just sad. He knows he’ll have to “work for it” to make this relationship better, which is the understatement of the year. He does finally get a hold of her via phone later, but she promptly hangs up on him. To Jorge, the situation is still murky. (And by murky, I mean: On the parched savanna of their relationship, Anfisa is the hangry cheetah and Jorge is the blind bunny rabbit about to be turned into a tasty snack.)

Kissing-Airport-2-90-Day-Fiance

At an airport in KY, Matt is holding flowers awaiting Alla and Max. His mother is there along with Matt’s niece, Stephanie. After they arrive, Alla and Max grab Matt into a group hug that seems sweet and genuine. Aww. I’m rooting for these guys! (I know I’ll eat those words, but hey! It’s the only somewhat hopeful scene thus far!!!)

Over in Morocco, Azan is preparing for Nicole’s arrival. “How do I look?” he wonders. Answer: Scared sh*tless. He claims he can’t wait to see Nicole though, and takes his best friend Hamza along to the airport to meet her. He hopes Nicole loves Morocco. But he should just be happy she figured out where it is. Will she look like he imagines she will? (Um, I assume photos and Facetime/Skype would have handled that…?)

Azan-Blue-Shirt-Shes-Big-Comment-90-Day-Fiance

Upon seeing her, Azan runs to give her a warm hug, which Nicole reciprocates. But he does admit she’s bigger than he expected. Ouch! “You are the one,” Azan tells her later though, so maybe his the harshness of his words didn’t belie his true feelings? (I’m throwing you a major bone here, Azan!! #ManUp!)

Back in Atlanta, Chantel takes Pedro to meet her best friend Gigi, the only one who knows the couple are actually engaged. Chantel has actually told her entire family and friend circle that “this show” being filmed is just about people from other countries dating each other. Erm, okay. As more friends arrive, Pedro takes the hot seat. He’s learning English, but valiantly tries to answer her friends’ grilling questions about why their relationship is so rushed. Gigi calls out Chantel’s friends on going too hard on Pedro. They are just concerned about Chantel though, and ask straight up if Pedro is using her for a green card? He is speechless at first, finally stammering out “I love my girl” as his answer.

Alla and Max come home to a huge party of Matt‘s family and friends – complete with name tags! (YESS!) – which is a little much to foist upon someone right out of the gate. It’s also a little too much public conversation, in Alla’s opinion, to openly discuss Matt’s ex wives in front of the entire group, which Matt does. She’s a more private person. Alla does seem to want this marriage to work though, so she’s willing to try 90 days in this new life.

Jorge-Red-Shirt-Holding-Flowers-90-Day-Fiance

Back in Jorge‘s depressing mess, he’s still hang-dogging it through his days, counting the minutes until Anfisa turns his phone and email right back over to him. It’s been 10 days since she hung up on him, but she did call him the previous night to string him along a bit more. So, of course, Jorge is both feet in again! Anfisa has agreed to fly to the U.S. after all! WHAT!? Jorge giggles that he thinks she just wanted to “build some suspense” to make him think she was not coming, even though she was.

“She’s crazy!” Jorge gleefully laughs as he holds a bouquet, awaiting her arrival at the airport. Oh, grasshopper. The stupid is strong with you.

Anfisa arrives, then lets Jorge maul/kiss her for awhile before they head out to live their 90 days in purgatory. She immediately complains about his car (an Audi), him not cleaning her seat up before she arrived, and his general existence. She does perk up when Jorge suggests they go shopping though, idly tapping on her phone (that Jorge pays for) while he figures out how to get all of her sh*t in the car. He’ll have to call a taxi. Then throw Anfisa in it and ship her off to San Quentin for grifting. Looks like we’ll have to wait until next week to see how much lower Jorge will go to keep this chick happy.

Well. If this premiere is any indication of the level of drama season four is bringing, we are in for a veritable inferno of chaos, people! TLC is serving their mess up piping hot.

I am IN.

Dina Manzo Blasts Caroline Manzo During WWHL; Caroline and Siggy Weigh In On The Teresa, Kathy, And Rosie Situation

manzo-recap-caroline

manzo-recap-caroline

Tonight on WWHL, Caroline Manzo and Siggy Flicker were Andy’s guests. They weighed in on the rocky relationship between Teresa Giudice and her cousins, Kathy Wakile and Rosie Pierri – and so much more.  Things also got pretty heated between Caroline and her sister Dina Manzo. Read on!

Caroline weighs in on the Teresa and Kathy/Rosie situation: “Kathy is good people, Rosie is good people and they’re doing it from their heart. So I’d like Teresa to open up her heart and just understand that people make mistakes and say bad things they don’t mean sometimes and I think it’s time she kind of grows up and accepts them back.”

Siggy agrees – somewhat. “I think Kathy’s great, I think Rosie’s great, but I think Teresa’s even better, I’m sorry. What people don’t understand is Rosie and Kathy’s mother and Teresa’s father are brother and sister and so it starts there. There is bitterness there. So it’s generations upon generations that are not getting along. And I think right now Teresa says ‘I don’t want to have a relationship with you.’ You should say ‘fine, back off.'”

Caroline jumps in “for the right reason.” Siggy disagrees, “listen, sometimes not everybody needs to have the right reason and I’m sure we’re going to find out sooner or later about the right reason of why she doesn’t want a relationship with them, but Kathy and Rosie are not desperate. They want their family back but they should step back, which they are and give Teresa her space right now. She’s been through hell and back.”

Siggy says she does think that Joe’s drinking is putting a strain on his relationship with Teresa. But she says she’d be scared and drinking, too.

Caroline confirms that she has NO relationship with Teresa.

A caller asks Caroline how she handles being friends with Dolores when she’s such close friends with Teresa. “I don’t own anybody. It’s anybody’s right to be friends with whoever they like to and have a relationship with whoever they like to. You come to my house, you treat me with respect.” She says that she doesn’t fault or blame Dolores and it’s her right to be friends with Teresa. “Teresa and I don’t get along and that’s the way of it. Teresa would say the same thing.”

Is it hard for Siggy being a new Housewife? “It was hard for me to navigate through the relationships because usually I’m like the lifeguard, standing and telling people. And now I’m actually swimming with the girls. Like when Jacqueline fights with Teresa, because I love them so much, that really upset me deeply and you’ll see it coming up. I don’t like for anybody to fight. Even someone like Rosie. When someone says to me that they have a problem with Rosie, I say ‘take four Advil and don’t call me the next day.’ It’s hard for me because there’s so much history and I love these girls.”

Andy reads a Tweet from Dina Manzo, saying that she thinks Siggy gives good advice.  Andy asks Caroline if things are still all good with Dina and she shakes her head no. Andy says “are you mad at me for asking??” and she says “no, it’s over.”  Caroline says “what are you gonna do?” Andy is very sad to hear they aren’t speaking anymore.

Then Danielle Staub Tweets in and asks why Caroline suddenly has a double standard on friendships, claiming that Caroline didn’t let anyone else be friends with her. “Danielle Staub, thanks for watching. But you and I didn’t have any kind of relationship so I don’t want to be around the people that are around you. So maybe it’s my end. Twitterworld, go for it.”

A caller asks Siggy which RHONJ couple has the best relationship. She says “My husband and I. Michael Campenella all the way. No, but I have to say, everybody is different. Chris is always touching Jacqueline, they’re very playful and I love to see that. Joey Gorga, I’m sorry, him and Melissa are adorable.” She then comments about Juicy Joe grabbing Teresa’s butt before he left.  She adds, “I’m sorry, it’s Jersey, you’re not going to see anybody getting divorced. It’s not happening.”

Would Caroline return to RHONJ? “I can’t go back to what was. Things would have to change, relationships would have to change. It would have to be a better place.”

On Teresa and Melissa’s mended relationship, Caroline hopes it’s genuine. She says she doesn’t see Melissa and Joe at all. Siggy jumps in to say that it IS genuine, but nobody should care if it is or isn’t because Teresa just got home from being “away” for 11 months and she needs her family.

Dina Tweeted in again, but this time letting it rip at Caroline! “I’m sick w the flu for 7 days & not in the mood for this shit. I said one day I will snap and I might be about to. I was told NEVER to reach out/speak to her or her family again. Disinvited to holidays? But I’m the rock she’s trying to get blood out of? No reason to go there publicly. I was asked that same question on my press tour for my skincare & protected “family” by saying all is good.  I’ve kept my mouth shut for yrs to protect my parents & husband at the time. I’m done. My parents can’t be hurt anymore than they are now.  So go ahead get all the attention you want for your show…while you’re at it call your parents. DONE.”

The poll question tonight was “whose side are you on? Kathy/Rosie or Teresa’s.” The viewers voted Kathy/Rosie with 53%.

TELL US – TEAM DINA OR TEAM CAROLINE?

Who won head of household on Big Brother tonight and slid their way into a guaranteed place in the Final Four of season 18? Grab that popcorn and make sure you have plenty of butter on hand as we bring you the spoilers on who won HoH on Big Brother tonight!

Big Brother 18 Head of Household (CBS)

Will the Paul Abrahamian and Victor Arroyo bromance live on for a another week or will this HoH challenge spell the end of ‘The Sitting Ducks’? Or will it be Nicole Franzel and Corey Brooks who finds their showmance duo in danger this week? Maybe, possibly, could it even be veteran James Huling who grabs the win and gets to take revenge for losing his flirtmance Natalie Negrotti in the last eviction?

The Head of Household Competition aired on CBS TV Sunday evening, which actually finished in real time back on Thursday night, was the infamous slip and slide endurance challenge. The houseguests were tasked with sliding back and forth across a slippery floor while transporting liquid butter from a big barrel to a bowl on the other side.

The houseguests had a choice this time around to either go directly for the large Head of Household bowl to fill, or to fill a smaller bowl first to get a larger scoop to use for the bigger bowl. Nicole and Paul decided to both go for filling the smaller bowl first, while James and Corey went directly for the big bowl. As the current Head of Household, of course, Victor was not allowed to play.

2016-09-08_19-19-26

While the Head of Household Competition started out on Thursday night’s CBS TV show, it wasn’t over before it ended. The rest of the challenge (in part) was aired on Sunday night’s show instead, although we watched pretty much the whole thing play out on the Big Brother Live Feeds on Thursday evening.

The competition was even messier than I remember from last time around, and there were a tremendous amount of falls and spills. Several of the contestants, especially Paul and James, ended up doing a lot of crawling around on the slippery floor. Nicole actually did well, as she did in the comp during her season, but it was Corey who took a strong lead and quickly seemed the person to beat.

About 45 minutes into the competition, Nicole filled up her small bowl and got the big scoop to help her fill up the big bowl. That allowed her to start gaining ground on her showmance partner Corey, but it looked unlikely she would be able to catch him unless he slowed down significantly. It was obvious by this point that Paul was absolutely terrible at the competition, and James was not much better.

In the end, after over an hour of sliding around like crazy, the challenge went to the guy who dominated it from start to finish — Corey Brooks. He basically just wasted everyone, and made his win look, well, smooth as butter.

Big Brother 18 Recap: A Slippery Slope for Head of Household 9/11/2016

In our Big Brother 18 recap tonight, it will be a slippery challenge for the houseguests competing to become the next Head of Household in this all-important week. For two players in particular, if one of them doesn’t win that HoH competition, their long-lasting relationship in the house is virtually guaranteed to go up in flames in the next eviction.

Big Brother 18 Head of Household Competition

Although bromance allies Paul Abrahamian and Victor Arroyo locked in a Final 4 deal with showmance couple Nicole Franzel and Corey Brooks, that deal was pretty much over as soon as Natalie Negrotti was sent packing last Thursday. Well, it was for Nicole and Corey anyway, who immediately started plotting to go after big threats Paul and Victor, while attempting to team up with veteran James Huling behind their back.

That would only work, however, if both Paul and Victor failed to win the Head of Household, of course. If one of them did win it, then it was very important that Corey and Nicole stay buddied up with them if at all possible, which would hopefully put the big target on James and not one of them.

With the Big Brother 18 finale rapidly approaching, this week’s Head of Household Competition is a huge deal, and we can’t wait to see who will ‘slide’ their way to victory!

Looks like we have a bit of a delay starting the show tonight, but if you can’t wait to find out who won the HoH Competition, you can check out the spoilers for the results here.

Dolores Catania Says It Was Time To Move Forward; Trusts Her Ex Completely With Family Finances

dolores-siggy

dolores-siggy

Before we move on to tonight’s episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Dolores Catania has a few thoughts to share on last week’s episode.

The newbie shared that watching the episode was a hard reminder of losing her beloved Boo. “Losing Boo was one of the hardest things I’ve ever been through. He really was my best friend. Even though he couldn’t talk to me, I know without a doubt that he “got” me. Through thick and thin, Boo was by my side and always brought me such comfort. He was my protector and according to my girlfriends, the only “man” I ever trusted. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t miss Boo terribly, but I know that he’s always with me in spirit.”

She says it was time to let go of the old Dolores and move forward with her life. “I also took a big step in letting go of the “old” Dolores. This isn’t something that I’ve been able to do overnight, of course. It’s a process that I need to go through a little bit at a time. It’s been exciting to finally focus on me becoming more independent.”

On her interesting relationship with ex-husband Frank, “Every relationship has its own way of working; what works for some doesn’t always work for everyone else. Before and after our divorce, Frank and I both believed that our children’s happiness comes first. We both firmly felt that it was best for our family that I was around for the kids 24/7, and we were both willing to make sacrifices to make that happen. You see, we may be divorced, but we are still a FAMILY. We will always be tied together, and I’m so proud of where we all are.”

She says she absolutely trusts Frank with the family finances. “Even though we live in two separate homes, I have always trusted Frank whole-heartedly to handle our family’s finances. Now that Frankie has his license and we will soon have two college students leaving the nest, the timing was perfect for me to get back to working outside of the house. My new gym is thriving, and it’s so gratifying for me to have a career doing something I LOVE! My ex-husband and I are truly best friends, my children are well adjusted and HAPPY, I’m happy – LIFE IS GOOD!”

Tonight is an all new episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey (8/7cst).  Teresa has a book signing where a few unexpected visitors show up. Then, after reaching out to Siggy for relationship advice, Melissa decides to have a family dinner to get her marriage back on track. Meanwhile, Dolores’ business partner whips her into shape, and Jacqueline gets an inside look to her husband’s new business venture.

Big Brother 18 Schedule: Fast Forward Week with Back-to-Back Evictions

For all of you Big Brother fans, brace yourself for an action-packed week ahead including back-to-back evictions heading towards the much anticipated Big Brother 18 finale airing in just 11 days from today.  By Wednesday evening of this week, the final three houseguests (HGs) will be in place and vying for the coveted last Head of Household (HOH) title in three rounds of grueling play.

Big Brother 18 host Julie Chen (CBS)

Big Brother 18 host Julie Chen (CBS)

The final HOH will have the ultimate strategic decision to be made by choosing which HG will be taken with them to the Final Two where the Big Brother jury will decide the winner of $500,000 and the title of Big Brother 18.

The week ahead may be a bit confusing to some of the newer Big Brother fans out there, but don’t fret.  We are here to explain the upcoming events and what to expect this week leading up to the finale next Wednesday evening at 9:30/8:30 pm central.  The biggest change to make note of this week is that Big Brother will be airing on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings as opposed to the typical Wednesday and Thursday time slots.  Also important to note is that all four episodes this week will air at 8:00/7:00 pm central including a bonus episode airing Friday evening.

For those of you that watch the Live Feeds, here is a breakdown of the upcoming events on the Feeds as well as a breakdown of the CBS network episodes:

Saturday 9/10:  Power of Veto (POV) competition held earlier this evening.  Check the link here for our spoiler report on this week’s POV winner.

Sunday 9/11:  POV ceremony will be held in the Big Brother house.  The CBS network show will feature the winner of this week’s HOH and the two HGs nominated to the Block for eviction.  Check here for our spoiler report on which HG won HOH this week and here for which two HGs were nominated to the Block.

Monday 9/12:  The Live Feeds will go down.  While the Feeds are down, the next eviction ceremony will be recorded as well as the next HOH competition.

Tuesday 9/13:  The Live Feeds will return and should contain spoilers for the next Block nominees and winner of the POV competition.  The CBS network show airing at 8/7pm central will feature the winner of the POV competition, the eviction taped the previous day during the blackout of the Live Feeds, and the next HOH competition.

Wednesday 9/14:  The CBS network show airing at 8/7 pm central will feature a live eviction, the second eviction of the week.  After this eviction, the final three HGs will be competing in Round One of the final HOH competition.  Most likely, the network will air the beginning of the competition, and CBS ALLACCESS viewers should be able to switch over to see the remainder of the competition.

Friday 9/16:  A fourth and special Big Brother episode will be airing at 8/7 pm central and will most likely feature a compilation of this season’s greatest moments.  Round Two of the HOH competition will most likely occur on this day and spoilers should be available on the Live Feeds after the competition is complete.

Wednesday 9/21:  The Big Brother 18 season finale airing at 9:30/8:30 pm central running for 90 minutes.

The majority of the information listed above is valid schedule information; however, there is also some speculation so please check back to our site often for the latest results on all competitions and ceremonies leading up to the finale.  For those of you that have not yet signed up for CBS All Access, please do so now to enjoy the Live Feeds as well as the upcoming special Fall season of Big Brother:Over the Top.

Big Brother 18 Preview: Is It Too Late for James to Make a Comeback?

After an unprecedented three sets of couples made up the final six houseguests (HG) on Big Brother 18, James Huling is left without a much of any type of alliance now that his showmance partner Natalie Negrotti was evicted during the last episode.  We did see signs of Corey Brooks and Paul Abrahamian starting to make moves towards solidifying a possible alliance with James once they figured out when Natalie was gone, James would essentially become a ‘free agent’ in the house.

Big Brother 18 Cast (Photo Courtesy of CBS)

Big Brother 18 Cast (Photo Courtesy of CBS)

Can that be James’ saving grace for his game or will the Final Four alliance stay true to their word and evict James this week?

Most everyone can agree that James has let his Big Brother game go to Hell in the last few weeks.  His lack of focus and concentration on his gameplay can certainly be attributed to school boy crush on Natalie Negrotti.  What southern American male wouldn’t be sidetracked and enamored by the former NFL cheerleader flirting with them and calling them their soulmate?  James easily fell victim to crush and let that get squarely in-between him and winning Big Brother.  Now that Natalie has been evicted to the jury house, James may actually have some life brought back into his game.

Corey and Paul both saw the value of the potential alliance with James if Natalie was evicted this week which we now know she was.  Consequently, this could be exactly what James needs to wrangle his way into the final three and maybe even the final two. Of course, this week’s Head of Household (HOH) competition will dictate exactly where James’ game stands, but if he gathers himself and starts playing the game again, things can be looking up for our veteran James.

Tonight’s episode will reveal the winner of the Big Brother Slide In Theatre HOH competition and pick-up where last Thursday’s episode left off as the HGs began the competition.  James could really pull his game out of the gutter with the HOH win, but these types of competitions have never been James’ strong suit.  After the HOH winner is announced, the new HOH will then have the difficult task of nominating two HGs to the Block with only five HGs remaining in the game.

Tonight we will have a very high probability of seeing whether or not the Final Four alliance will take Corey, Nicole, Paul and Victor to the final four.  The only way this isn’t revealed on tonight’s episode is if James wins the HOH with a 1 in 5 chance.  Odds are not in his favor to win.  Tune in tonight to see who won HOH, if the Final Four is really the final four, and who was nominated the Block for eviction.
