After months of speculation and radio silence about her pregnancy, Kylie Jenner finally confirmed that she gave birth to her first child on Sunday February 4 with an Instagram post and a YouTube video detailing her pregnancy.
She didn’t reveal the name of she and rapper Travis Scott’s daughter until two days later with an Instagram post on Tuesday.
Kylie shared a photo showing part of her daughter’s face with her little hand holding Kylie’s perfectly manicured finger.
She originally captioned the photo with “storm” and a baby angel emoji indicating that the baby’s name is Stormi. Later, Kylie edited the caption to say “stormi webster.” Travis Scott’s given name is Jacques Webster, so maybe she was clarifying for anyone who thought her baby would have the last name Jenner.
Kylie’s mom Kris Jenner posted the same photo on her own Instagram page with the caption “Meet my precious granddaughter Stormi! I love you endlessly.” Kylie’s older sister Kim Kardashian tweeted a storm cloud emoji in honor of her newest niece.
As of now, there’s no explanation for why the rapper and the lip kit mogul named their daughter Stormi, but a source told E! News, “The name had been decided on for a while now.”
E! News also reports that Kylie and some employees ordered several personalized items with the name “Stormi” on them from a Los Angeles baby store. Considering that Keeping Up With the Kardashians has been on the E! network for over a decade, almost anything that E! “reports” from “an inside source” about the Kardashian/Jenner family is probably information they want out there in public and is probably true.
