For the most part, Vicki Gunvalson stayed out of the drama during the last episode of Real Housewives of Orange County. She wasn’t involved in anything that went down at the restaurant, The Quiet Woman, but her name was in everyone’s mouths, as per usual.
For once, Vicki doesn’t have to defend herself since she wasn’t involved in the actual controversy this time, but she did so anyway.
But before defending herself, Vicki took it upon herself to support her girl Kelly Dodd in her Bravo blog, “The Quiet Woman is literally walking distance from Kelly’s house, and it makes sense that she would have stopped by there after being on the boat ride. I don’t think that Kelly showed up to see the ladies.”
But Lydia McLaughlin invited her. I get that Kelly wouldn’t want to see any of those people, but Lydia did say they were going to be there. Sure, it’s possible Kelly forgot, but she was definitely informed at some point – they showed it on the episode.
Then Vicki came back to protecting herself from nemesis Shannon Beador. She declared, “For Shannon to get upset at Lydia that she was mentioning my name is ludicrous. I mean, she knows we all hang out together, so who gives her the right to tell Lydia not to say my name or to be in my presence? It’s just childish and she needs to grow up.”
They are contractually obligated to interact and discuss each other’s lives for this show. Shannon should have seen this coming. Come on.
Vicki claimed, “I’m glad that Kelly has tried to make amends with Tamra [Judge], however it’s interesting how Tamra is quick to move on with her, but not me.” It’s not like Tamra was giving her a best friend bracelet [a la Gretchen Rossi back in the day]. She was just being cordial since they were at the same table.
Still, Vicki clearly isn’t buying it since she also put this out there: “Personally, I think Tamra is very calculated with who she ‘hangs out with,’ no matter what her true inner feelings are. She is a master manipulator.”
Vicki added, “Regarding Tamra and Shannon being upset with me…it’s ridiculous and they need to look at themselves in the mirror. I didn’t SPREAD RUMORS publicly about Eddie [Judge] or David [Beador]. Kelly and I did have a conversation in her home over a year ago, and I asked her, ‘Why do these ladies think it’s ok to bash me about being with my ex, when they have rumors and ‘issues’ with their husbands but don’t want to ever talk about it?’ That was it. It was never meant to become public, and it did.”
Just because she didn’t spread rumors in front of reality TV cameras, it doesn’t mean she didn’t spread rumors. I get Vicki’s point: Kelly‘s the one who brought this to the show, not her, but she did spread these rumors.
She wondered, “Why are they continuing to talk about it if they don’t want it to be a topic of conversation?” Vicki made it a point to say, “They should let it go and we can stop talking about it. I’ll stop telling the truth about them, when they stop telling lies about me. Now enough is enough and move on!” None of that is ever going to happen. Ever.
At the end of her post, Vicki teased, “Stay tuned…it’s gonna get a little bumpy.” Of course it is.
TELL US-DID KELLY KNOW THE LADIES WERE GOING TO BE AT THE QUIET WOMAN? IS VICKI AT FAULT FOR THE SPREADING RUMORS ABOUT EDDIE AND DAVID?
