Candiace Dillard is known for her verbal fighting skills both on Real Housewives of Potomac and on social media. While she has plenty of defenders, she has more than enough haters. And those haters have been very vocal about wanting Candiace fired from the franchise. So when rumors started circulating that might be true, she once again took to social media to defend herself.
All About The Real Housewives posted a screenshot of a blind item centering around Candiace. The item originated from another fan account, Bravo and Cocktails. The caption read, “Word on the street is that Candiace Dillard is allegedly getting kicked to the curb by Real Housewives of Potomac producers ahead of season 7. Thoughts on this rumor?”
The screen shotted blind item read in part, “This problematic east coast housewife who has been on the show for a few seasons now is rumored to not be getting her contract renewed for the new season. With filming slated to begin within the next month or so, producers have finally recognized that the trouble she has caused/has gotten herself [into] has not been a good look for the overall franchise. Along with the added pressure from many opinionated fans calling for her termination, the clear as day fact that she will never own up to her share of mistakes and the high probability that she will continue to cause and get [into] more unnecessary trouble.”
Candiace, who is very active on social media, especially Twitter, took to the platform to call out the rumor. She tweeted, “Wow. I was trending? You all really want me to be that girl, don’t you?” She also added a pic of her tweet to her Instagram account. Candiace captioned it, “‘That girl’ as in the one you keep trying to make me. ‘The One. The Threat.’ That’s not me, girls. Stop trying to make fetch happen. It’s not going to happen.”
Despite all the hate, Candiace has never been one to shy away from the double standard that often plays out on Bravo between franchises. After Lisa Barlow’s infamous hot mic tirade on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, she was praised as “iconic.” Memes hyping her up were everywhere. But Candiace had a different take, noting that when she goes off, she’s made out to be a villain.
When a fan pointed this out on Twitter, Candiace responded with her thoughts. She tweeted in part, “She’s white. Black women can’t get angry. Like, truly angry. We’re vile and violent when we’re angry. White girls are always allowed the full scope of emotion.” But the scenario obviously took a toll on the Candiace, who ended the conversation by tweeting, “It’s actually triggering to see a white woman have the freedom to be angry. I’m triggered. Everything is triggering me. I’m taking a break.”
Regardless, I think everyone is curious to see if the rumors are true. Love her or hate her, most of the drama on RHOP has revolved around Candiace. And there is something to be said for that when it comes to making a franchise interesting. I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens. I’m sure either way, we will be hearing from Candiace about it.

If there’s anyone in the Real Housewives world who knows more about how to deal with legal troubles which can surface from being on the show, it’s Teresa Giudice. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star had to pay the ultimate price by serving time behind bars and being away from her family.
It is not uncommon for housewives to see their new found fame also give sometimes get them on the wrong side of the law. Undoubtedly, becoming a public figure makes more people pay attention to you in everything from your personal life to your career. One housewife who is now facing serious legal woes is Jen Shah from the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. And according to Teresa’s attorney, she needs to find “humility”.
James J. Leonard Jr. of Leonard Law Group LLC spoke with Fox News to shed some light on Jen’s case, and gave her tips on how to navigate the undoubtedly complex and emotionally taxing process. Jen is facing decades in prison for selling information of vulnerable people to telemarketing companies who would then prey on them. The charges include multiple counts of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering
When facing such such an uphill (legal) battle, James had some wise worse for Jen . He stated that he “would hope and pray” for Jen, specifically that she finds humility. He further explained his thinking, “how does one practice humility? It’s difficult to articulate, but it needs to come from a genuine and sincere place,” he said.
James continued, “It’s one that the government and the judge – not the court of public opinion – can accept. You cannot approach this from an emotional standpoint. Wise choices need to be made here based on logic. This is a very difficult and potentially life-altering situation not just for her, but her for family. You need to evaluate the strengths of the government’s case and all the evidence.”
Jen is not the first, and she most probably wont be the last housewife to find herself in hot water with the authorities. But James wants to make sure that any housewife, or reality tv star in general knows what they are getting themselves into – “People who find themselves in the public eye need to understand that their lives will be scrutinized,” he said. “You need to make sure your affairs are in order. Because if they’re not, the spotlight tends to find its way to you. And these shows will have the spotlight on you. If you’re going to be in a show like this, get your affairs in order before shining that light onto yourself. Once it’s the light is on, it’s extremely bright. … And it’s not always flattering.”
I feel like a lot of housewives could’ve benefitted from James’ advice before putting themselves out into the public arena. It remains to be seen how Jen feels, and whether she regrets coming onto the show and jeopardizing her life and livelihood. Her court case is scheduled to begin in March 2022, we will have to wait until then to see if “humble” Jen turns up in the court room.

Daddy drama. Below Deck Sailing Yacht's Daisy Kelliher and Gary King are weighing in on their former co-worker Jean-Luc Cerza-Lanaux's recent paternity news. After initially...I hate to admit this. I’m starting to see people complaining about this season of The Real Housewives of Orange County. But while other viewers are airing their grievances on social media, I’m maintaining a positive outlook on the whole enterprise. Because I’m really enjoying this season so far. And I really liked this week’s episode in particular. For a number of reasons. No majorly explosive dramatic moment occurred. But a large portion of it felt like I was watching old-school RHOC. Which, as a religious viewer for the last fifteen-plus years, hits a very special, nostalgic and sentimental place in my heart. And the rest of the episode pushed the series into new and unexplored terrain both hilarious and heartwarming.
The episode kicks off with Heather Dubrow and her brood out to family dinner at Nobu. Over the course of which we learn that Max Dubrow isn’t the only child in the family who’s part of the LGBTQ+ community. Her younger sister Kat Dubrow has also come out as a lesbian! But unlike her older sister, Kat’s coming out experience has been much harder, filled with insensitive middle schoolers, gay slurs and trouble at school.
There’s also a bit of tension between the siblings, which manifests itself in a sisterly spat at the table. Which Nicky Dubrow points out may be rooted in who the spotlight’s shining on brightest post-coming out. But arguing with your sibling over something like how they eat? Been there, lived through that. I don’t know about you, but it still amazes me to see the Dubrow kids growing up. Particularly Coco Dubrow, who’s akin to Audriana Giudice in my book in that I simply can’t believe she as a toddler when we first met her on the show.
Cut to Emily Simpson meeting up with Noella Bergener for some fancy pedicures the next day in Laguna Niguel. By this point, it should go without saying that the conversation is all about Noella. Who reveals in her confessional that she’s a Gemini, which frankly could not track more perfectly. Because of course she is. She’s also starting to get a little “suffocating,” in Emily’s words. When the newbie first joined the show, she was blindsided by the shock of her divorce. And understandably so. And it made most of the other women, including Emily, want to rally around her and support her.
But the deeper Emily gets with her new friend, the more red flags she sees in her personality. We’re only halfway-ish through the season and Noella‘s already had problems with almost every other Housewife in the cast. And watching Emily try to give her advice about how to chill out and get back in the ladies’ good graces is painful. Because god, the newcomer is just a brick wall of narcissism. It takes three times as long as it should for Emily to get a simple point through to her because she’s too busy having an immediate response to everything and asking the lawyer why no one is giving her “grace” when she’s being openly hostile to really listen to the much-needed advice Emily’s doling out free of charge.
The next day, Shannon Beador‘s planned a midday luncheon at her house as an excuse to get all the women together. But Dr. Jen Armstrong doesn’t feel much like going. Because she’s just dealt with a whirlwind 24 hours of marital strife. After their tense on-camera argument at the end of last week’s episode, it turns out Ryne Holliday packed up and left the house. And didn’t come home until the following morning. So needless to say, all is not well in the Armstrong-Holliday household. And Dr. Jen is in a precariously emotional and vulnerable state. Opening up to Heather on the drive over, she even blurts out the sentence “I need a divorce” through tears.
And suddenly, I’m having all sorts of deja vu thinking about the many couples we’ve watched crash and burn over the years on this show. I know it’s become somewhat of a classic trope in the Housewives universe that certain women join the show to get a divorce. But there’s always something that feels different about it in the OC. In a way, the problems in Dr. Jen‘s marriage are a tale as old as time in Orange County, dating all the way back to Jeana Keough and her estranged (now-late) ex-husband Matt Keough. Instead of Noella and her scandal-ridden bombshell divorce, Dr. Jen might just be the real successor in a long line of broken, toxic RHOC marriages that includes Tamra Judge and Simon Barney. Lynne Curtin. Vicki Gunvalson and Donn Gunvalson. Meghan King Edmonds. And even Shannon and David Beador. Suddenly, I’m much more invested in the newbie.
Arriving at Shannon‘s, Dr. Jen tells Heather that she doesn’t want to talk about her marital strife with the other women. She’s not ready to face the barrage of questions that will come with opening up. And then proceeds to spill her guts out almost immediately upon walking in. So much for Heather telling the rest of the group not to bombard her with questions…But honestly, it’s clear that Dr. Jen needs to get the drama off her chest. Plus, she’s all ears when it comes to any advice her new friends have for how to heal the rift in her marriage. And considering every single one of the veteran ‘Wives have gone through their own marital issues on camera, they actually have great advice to offer.
Noella, on the other hand, can’t help but draw parallels to her divorce with James Bergener. (Read: find a way to recenter the conversation around her.) And actually, I don’t think she was doing it intentionally this time. I think she really did want to help Dr. Jen. But she was doing so by projecting her own experiences onto her frenemy. Asking the good doctor about prenups and telling her she should get divorced aren’t really what she needs to be hearing right now. Instead, she wants to hear about options for therapy, marriage counseling, and other ways to heal the relationship, not sever it. In fact, it turns out Dr. Jen and Ryne have already gone to the same marriage bootcamp we watched Shannon and David suffer through way back in Season 10. (Yes, the one with the gravestone.)
Once again, Noella is failing to read the room. And when she doesn’t appreciate Emily‘s questions about the story she’s selling regarding her divorce, the lawyer finally loses her temper. Blessedly, one thing we know is that Emily seeing red tends to make for good TV. Emily screams that all Noella ever does is talk about her divorce. Which is kind of true. The blow-up sends most of the ‘Wives scrambling from the table. And the only thing that saves the luncheon from total disaster is Heather breaking out the edibles. Surprise! Fancy Pants has discovered microdosing. And double surprise! She’s introduced Shannon to the concept as well. So before we know it, everyone’s a little bit high, feeling good, and the luncheon even ends in a toast. And cookies! Lots of cookies.
Days later, the drama between the ‘Wives takes off in another direction. Because Gina Kirschenheiter has come to the conclusion that Shannon is jealous of her blossoming friendship with Heather. This is mostly because Shannon didn’t seem excited enough when Heather was praising Gina for starting her new skincare line at the luncheon. Which may seem ridiculous to some, but on the other hand I can see what Gina’s saying. When it’s come to Heather’s return to the show, Shannon’s face has had a habit of betraying her real feelings this season. Even when she’s saying things that, on the surface, are supposedly happy and supportive, she has a tendency to look, shall we say, less than enthused.
That evening, Emily fulfills her duty as the season’s unofficial bone collector to ask Shannon point blank over dinner with Dr. Jen if she’s feeling some type of way about Heather and Gina. Of course, Shannon balks at the accusation. She has her totally own separate friendship with Heather, OK? In fact, her fellow vet is her new marijuana dealer! And she’s totally not mad about being excluded from Heather and Gina’s upcoming trip to New York. Because even if she had been invited, she would’ve turned the invitation down. OK?? Are you convinced yet??? She didn’t even want to go to New York! But now she’s definitely mad at Gina…
On a completely separate note, this recap would be missing a major element if I didn’t mention Heather‘s beautiful conversation with her daughter Kat about acceptance and parental support of LGBTQ+ children. It was just so touching. And as a gay kid who grew up loving Bravo and definitely didn’t have that type of unapologetic, celebratory support at home, tears were streaming down my face as I watched one of my favorite Housewives encourage and champion her lesbian daughter to fly whatever flag she wanted to proudly, loudly and without an ounce of shame. It sounds trite, but it truly meant so much to me as a viewer and as a fan, and I hope Heather’s advocacy of all her children can help other parents watching realize that their LGBTQ+ kids need and deserve exactly that kind of support and love.

Things are about to start getting even more INTERESTING! We are finally at my favorite part of the show. The phase where the Married At First Sight couples are forced to move in with their stranger spouse never disappoints. Some of the matches continue on their honeymoon phase, while others start going downhill fast. It’s only their first day back in the real world and things are already starting to get crazy.
Pastor Calvin guides each of the couples into the next chapter of marriage. From what I saw in this episode they are going to definitely need a lot more hand holding. Things are starting to get real and participants are starting to be more observant. I guess when you are no longer distracted by a wedding and a beach that tends to happen. Let’s get straight to the recap!
Katina and Olajuwon have moved into their new shared apartment. Within a short time, he is already reinforcing his expectations for his wife. Although she isn’t a cook, for some reason she is going along with it for now. I don’t know why she doesn’t just tell him she isn’t going to be the sole cook in the house. She has admitted in previous episodes that she doesn’t even know how to cook. If he wants a cook meal every day, he would need to get acquainted with the kitchen himself.
Olajuwon takes Katina to his house to see where he lived pre-marriage. Needless to say, his home definitely needs a woman’s touch. When he asks her to rate his place, he is shocked by all of the changes she would make. I agree with her. The house wasn’t bad, but could use some upgrades. But they both plan to live in his house after the experiment.
Pastor Calvin Roberson stops by to meet with Olajuwon and Katina at their apartment. Immediately, the issue of her cooking and the way he speaks to her is addressed. It almost comes off as if she is nervous to say anything that may upset him. Even Pastor Calvin admits that he doesn’t like what he witnessed at times. After digging deeper, we find out that it is Olajuwon is the one pumping the brakes on a sexual relationship. He is worried about going to the next level and then things not working out. Katina admits that his way of thinking makes her feel less secure.
Chris has moved into the new apartment alone. I’m sure it’s no surprise to anyone, but Alyssa has declined moving in with her husband. Later, in an effort for more camera time, they both meet with people separately to discuss their marriage woes. Alyssa tries her best to convince her mother that Chris is a horrible person who treats her poorly. Her mom isn’t quite buying it and even says he seemed like a nice guy. Alyssa then goes as far to say he has no respect for the police based on a tweet on social media. Meanwhile, Chris meets with his best friend who is a police officer. He explains that he doesn’t believe she has gotten the chance to truly get to know him because she doesn’t want to talk to him. This man doesn’t even have his wife’s phone number.
Pastor Calvin meets with Alyssa and Chris at the apartment. Alyssa is asked to explain how and when she discovered that things were not going to work out. The first thing she mentions is that he isn’t her physical type. Duh! She then begins to peddle a load of bs and act as if she was willing to get to know her husband. She even tries to say she didn’t want to live together because she is allergic to dogs. Huh? Girl, you don’t like him and you have made that clear in every way. She couldn’t even think of anything positive to say about the guy. After listening to the lies, Chris determines that it’s decision day for him. He then confidently asks for a divorce. Of course, Alyssa tries to play victim and change the narrative. This chick is crazy if she believes anyone is buying those crocodile tears. I am proud of Chris for the way he handled this situation. Most people would have run for the hills a long time ago.
Michael will be staying in the new apartment for the first few days all by himself. Jasmina claims to need to go back to her own apartment to figure out the daycare situation for her dog. Sounds a little like bs to me. Michael lets her know that he doesn’t want to start things off on the wrong foot. He hopes that in the future if there is an issue they won’t create distance from one another. She reassures him she isn’t leaving to get space, although that is an added benefit. Call it whatever you want honey, we all know you just aren’t ready to jump right in. I’m sure their disagreements during the honeymoon have something to do with it, as well.
Michael takes Jasmina to see his bachelor pad. It definitely gives off single vibes. His room even has neon painting of a nude woman. Things get a bit awkward when Jasmina discovers that he has a female roommate he never mentioned. Given her own male roommate, she found it odd he left out that detail. Later, Jasmina realizes it’s not just one female roommate, it’s actually two. Strangely, in a previous conversation, he claimed he never lived with a woman. Yikes! Michael, you are coming off as someone who is a bit sneaky. During the discussion, she becomes visibly irritated when he confused by why she is questioning him.
Michael and Jasmina meet with Pastor Calvin Roberson to discuss the state of their marriage. Things instantly get tense when she says he yells and acts differently off camera. He emphatically disagrees and thinks she has painted a picture of him in her head. Hmm… Someone is lying. The red flags are starting to sway in the wind. If he indeed yells when angry and also chooses when to omit things, that isn’t a good sign. What I can’t understand, is why? He seems so mild mannered on camera, so it’s hard to know what is truly going on. Pastor Calvin steps in and offers some coaching on communication. Something tells me this isn’t the last we will hear about this.
As Noi and Steve move in together, he is noticing that she has very high expectations in relation to her pampered pup. He has gone from being a bachelor to being a married, dog dad now. When they arrive at Steve’s home, it is the standard bachelor pad. He excitedly shows off his colorful LED lights. LMAO! Noi, much like myself is shocked he is so enamored with these gaudy lights. He even suggests they take his lighting or buy new ones for their new apartment. Insert side eye. There is nothing wrong with lighting when done in a tasteful way, but that is way too much going on.
When Steve and Noi meet with Pastor Calvin, I am shocked when she says she will not budge on having 3 children. Steve makes a lot of great points about it just go over her head because it’s outside of her vision. Pastor Calvin has to explain that things don’t always go as planned for a variety of reasons. They then dive into her fears about struggling for money. Steve not being employed triggers that fear. He has the ability to use his skills for self-employment, but Noi would prefer something more secure. This is a really interesting situation. I can understand both of their viewpoints. More and more people are starting their own businesses and being successful. You don’t only have to have a 9-5 job in order to be financially stable. But I think if Steve intends to go that route, he will need to have a plan. He will also need to show her that his method can yield financial security, as well.
Lindsey and Mark go to his apartment in hazmat suits to combat the bedbug situation. Because the home was treated while he was away, everything is all over the place. As soon as they arrive, Lindsey begins taking control. She gets right to bagging things up and throwing his belongings away. Mark, of course, gets frustrated with someone else in his space taking over. Honestly, I think she just was trying to get in and out as quickly as possible. In a post interview, she mentions she has anxiety about bringing things into a new house that could be contaminated. I don’t know what I would have done in that situation. In my mind, I would want him to just throw everything away and not bring it into a new space. But I guess it’s not realistic to ask an adult to move in with just the clothes on their back. Sigh! Hopefully, there is something being done in the background to ensure they aren’t transferring the issue to a new location.
Lindsey takes Mark to her home and I am shocked. Her home is small and eclectic. I don’t know what I was expecting, but Mark describes it as “mother earth” vibes. He is disappointed that it wouldn’t be an option for a place to live after the experiment. Nonetheless, they will now be living in a new apartment along with their five cats.
In a post interview, Lindsey reveals that Mark is under a great deal of stress. His landlord and family issues have him behaving in a way she describes as hot and cold. She also feels like he has been behaving differently off camera. She finally confronts him and it doesn’t go well. Pastor Calvin arrives shortly after their argument to speak to the newlyweds. Lindsey becomes emotional while explaining how she feels neglected. Mark on the other hand feels overwhelmed and wants to take things slowly. He also says that he is afraid to say things to her, which only infuriates her. Sigh! Girl, I know you have been told all of your life that you are a lot. I understand you want to go 0 to 60 because you are happy, but marriage is a marathon, not a sprint. Pastor Calvin does a good job of mediating and explaining how they each feel. Hopefully they can work things out because I think they have something worth exploring.

The power in the Celebrity Big Brother 3 house did a complete 180-degree turn once Carson Kressley won Head of Household. He was all set and ready to target his number one nemesis for eviction, Meisha Tate. However, Todrick Hall and Meisha had other plans.
After Shanna Moakley saved Carson from the block and certain eviction last round, she was evicted under Carson’s own HOH even though she was an ally. This was all thanks to Todrick and Meisha concocting a plan that resulted in Carson targeting Shanna instead of Meisha. The plan worked, Shanna was evicted, and Meisha and Todrick are still in the Big Brother house. More importantly, they are still a huge threat in the game.
Tonight, a new Head of Household will be crowned, and two new block nominations will be made with only a week left in the game and just six celebrities fighting for $250,000. Which side of the Big Brother house will win power this time? Will Meisha and Todrick take back the power, or will Carson and his BFF Cynthia Bailey retain control? Let’s find out.
Lamar Odom told Todd Bridges that he was trying to get his attention during the live eviction. Lamar wanted Todd to vote out Meisha with him. Todd never got the memo, and neither voted for Meisha. Shanna was evicted by a unanimous vote.
Unbelievably, Lamar shared with the entire Big Brother house, including Meisha, that he was trying to get Todd to vote Meisha out with him. Obviously, this did not go over well with Meisha. She left the room before she said something she would later regret.
Before the last eviction vote, Carson and Cynthia made a deal with Meisha and Todrick. All four celebrities agreed to keep each houseguest safe during the next round. That means that if any of them win HOH and they honor their deal, Todd and Lamar will be going on the block.
This HOH competition is called Celebrity Endorsement and here is how it works. This game will consist of 7 rounds. One point will be awarded for a correct answer in each round. The celebrity with the most points after 7 rounds will win the next HOH.
The celebrities will be given a mixed drink and told what all of the ingredients are except for one missing ingredient. They must pick the missing ingredient from the ingredient board and place the tile in front of them. Once chosen, they will lock in their answer. If the correct missing ingredient is picked, each houseguest will receive one point.
Let the drinking games begin. Crazy as it may seem, Todd has expert taste buds. He ran away with this competition and won after only 5 rounds were played. Todd Bridges is the round 5 Head of Household.
As a perc for winning this competition, Todd will be launching his very own drink called the HOH-ito. He will pick two lucky celebrities to be his mascots for the next 24 hours. Todd chose Lamar and Todrick.
Time to pay up Lamar and Todrick. The mascots got dressed in their new costumes which are attached to one another for the next 24 hours. Todrick is a giant lime, and Lamar is HOH-ito.
Todd knows he wants to target Carson this week for eviction. He wants to put a decoy up on the block with Carson, and he doesn’t want to put Cynthia on the block with Carson. If he is able to get Carson out and Cynthia stays, then he can pull Cynthia over to his side. That will help him go further in the Big Brother game.
Todd asked Lamar if he was willing to be a pawn this week. Lamar agreed to be a pawn in order to help Todd and gain favor in the future should he need it. He ran his plan by Meisha who was in full agreement with the plan. Of course, Meisha was on board, she was not on the block nor was her ride-or-die Todrick.
Carson and Cynthia are happy with the plan as well because they have an opportunity for both of them to stay in the Big Brother house this week. If either of them wins the Power of Veto, Carson can be pulled off the block, and a replacement nominee will be named. If Cynthia can win the POV, she can take down Carson, and Todd won’t be able to nominate her. She will be safe because she won the POV.
As planned and expected, Todd nominated Carson and Lamar to the block for eviction this week. With only 6 celebrities left in the Big Brother house, all of the houseguests will be competing in the POV later this week.

Celebrity Big Brother 2022 is drawing closer and closer to the finale. Usually, we’re a little sad to see the season come to an end, but this season of Celebrity Big Brother has been a bit of a drag. The rootable characters make infuriating decisions and the less rootable characters are seeming to have an easy walk to the Celebrity Big Brother 2022 finale. This isn’t unusual for Big Brother, but it doesn’t make it any less disappointing. It’s going to be a long walk to the final Celebrity Big Brother finale, especially if the Celebrity Big Brother 2022 Power of Veto Competitions continue to have less than exciting results.
This week, Todd Bridges is the current Head of Household. He isn’t trying to do anything to shift the power dynamic. Instead, he’s helping Miesha Tate and Todrick Hall stay in power. On Tuesday, he nominated Carson Kressley and Lamar Odom for eviction, with Lamar just being a pawn and Carson being the target.
The Celebrity Big Brother 2022 Power of Veto determined if Carson and Cynthia Bailey had a chance to stay in the game. Unfortunately, we now have this week’s Power of Veto results and things don’t’ look good for Carson.
Keeping up with her winning streak, Miesha won the Power of Veto. She plans to keep nominations the same and Carson will leave on Friday. Unless plans change for the Power of Veto ceremony, expect to see Miesha not use it. Then Carson will go out the door. If Miesha or Todrick Hall win this week’s Head of Household, which they likely will, then it’s a wrap for Todd, Lamar, and Cynthia.

Shanna Moakler has been done dirty on Celebrity Big Brother. The superfan came to the Big Brother house ready to play. She quickly made a final two with Chris Kirkpatrick, and the two seemed poised to go far. At least in the beginning.
After the first elimination (cough* ‘Teddie Mellencamp‘ cough*) Real Housewife of Atlanta, Cynthia Bailey and Carson Kressley were on one side of the house. Miesha Tate and Todrick Hall were on the other. Shanna and Chris were solidly ensconced in the middle. However, after the eliminations of Teddie and Mirai Nagasu and the self-eviction of Chris Kattan, sides needed to be chosen.
In an ultimate show of loyalty, Chris Kirkpatrick basically backdoored himself in an effort to take Carson off the block. The line was drawn in the sand, and everybody seemed to understand that. Everyone that is, except inexplicitly for Carson and Cynthia. I get that the duo didn’t fully understand the game, and often looked to Shanna to explain things. However, how do you not believe that someone has your best game interests at heart if they take you off the block at their own expense?
Things would have been much better for Shanna and Chris had they left things the way they were. Carson would have been evicted. This makes no sense to me.
Carson won HOH, made a deal with Todrick, and had Miesha up on the block. This serves everyone’s best interest. But somehow, Todrick was able to flip the house, turn things around on Shanna and make Carson and Cynthia believe that she was their biggest threat. Backdoor number two. Check. What the what? How did this happen?
Even Julie Chen Moonves seemed to be baffled at Shanna‘s ouster. Carson and Cynthia have basically sealed their fates in the game. Todrick is officially playing the best game.
But what makes this even more heartbreaking, is that Shanna had no idea what she was going home to. Thanks to Teddi, we know, and it’s not pretty. Especially considering that during her pre-eviction speech Shanna gave a shout out to then boyfriend Matthew Rondeau, letting him know she was excited to come home and spend Valentine’s Day with him. Ouch. That has to hurt.
According to Page Six, not only has Matthew been doing DM sliding, but he’s been doing some Instagram deleting as well. The speculation is that Matthew was not happy with the friendship brewing between Shanna and Lamar Odam while in the house. Oh please, the two have a whole lot of Keeping Up With The Kardashians dish to share. It’s a connection on a whole different level.
Matthew won’t confirm this is the reason, he only says, “Soon they will know.” That’s mature. Insert eyeroll. It’s a whole other level of disloyalty to publicly breakup with someone while they have no clue.
US Weekly has chimed in, noting a source close to the former couple has said, “Shanna is going to be completely blindsided once she comes out of the house and finds out what Matthew has been up to. They were headed toward an engagement but now can be headed toward a split.” Yikes. I’m beginning to think this might be the one and only situation where listing to Teddi is probably smart.
It seems like Shanna‘s getting the last laugh. According to Page Six, she’s now unfollowed Matthew on Instagram, although she’s classy enough to keep his photos on her feed. Perhaps it’s time to start shipping a Lamar/Shanna merger.

Dynamics are shifting this season on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. With this cast remaining the same for so many years, it’s nice to see things get shaken up a bit. Margaret Josephs vs Teresa Giudice and Jackie Goldschenider vs Dolores Catania are NEEDED. It keeps things from becoming stale. Jersey never disappoints!
Dolores gets a rep for being boring, but I’m enjoying her already this season. She oozes authenticity. However, to keep her spot on the show, she needs to step it up in the drama department.
Frank Catania is moving in with Dolores and the kids which is weird. There’s no way this is going to go smoothly. Everyone’s an adult, so nobody is going to hold their tongue. Dolores is asking her kids not to fight, but they want to set boundaries. The idea of Frank bringing home random women isn’t sitting well with her children or Dolo. That’s a tough conversation to have.
I’m living for Gia Giudice’s “waking up in the morning” song going viral on TikTok. It’s a little bit extra to create an entire sweatshirt line as a result of it though. Cringe!
Louie Ruelas wants to do a pizza night with the entire family. Yes, that includes Melissa Gorga & Joe Gorga. Things are still in an iffy place between the girls and Joe. Milania Giudice in particular is not ready to sit down with Joe after the things he’s said in the press. The repeated bashing of her father Joe Giudice has clearly affected her.
It’s her father, and Joe needs to realize that. His issues with his former brother-in-law are valid, but he doesn’t have to constantly speak about him. Let bygones be bygones, and find a way to move on. Is it really that hard? Stop putting these poor children through unnecessary pain. Please. Think about the ramifications of your actions Your words have power.
I wish the show would stop trying to make the husbands happen because nobody cares. Why do they get so much airtime? They’re not as magical as the powers that be think they are. They’re actually quite unlikeable at times. Especially Joe Gorga.
Why is there a scene with the husbands? I’ve never seen a group of men so desperate to be in on the gossip. They’re almost as bad, if not worse than the women. It’s nauseating. Carrying on about the women’s drama and saying maligning comments is not okay.
It looks like Jackie & Evan Goldschneider are doing extra this season to appear solid. There’s no reason to believe they aren’t in a good place, but it seems like damage control after last season’s rumors. It’s transparent.
Jackie talks about her eating disorder and a time when she fainted around Evan and his friends. She was in a place where she wasn’t eating regularly, and she was close to death. She wasn’t okay. Last year was hard for her, and she admits she shut down a little.
Jackie lost a few pounds after the drama took place, and the kids are noticing her eating patterns. They don’t understand why Jackie’s eating the same dinner every night. She’s scared of gaining weight, and she’s hungry all the time. Jackie’s living in fear that she’ll relapse and end up killing herself.
I have to commend Jackie for opening up like this. She’s laying all of it out there, and she knows what work needs to be done. Evan’s a supportive partner, and with his help, she might be able to get to a better place again. I hate that what happened last season appears to have affected her in such a negative manner.
Jackie phones Jennifer Aydin to check on her which is sweet because she doesn’t have to. Jackie lays it all out there and tells Jennifer that Dolores isn’t being the friend she needs right now. Shots fired! We might see Patterson Dolores if she catches wind of what Jackie’s saying. It’s not going to be a good situation because Dolo doesn’t play.
Jackie invites Jennifer to her upcoming couples night. With Jennifer on the outs with most of the women (now including Dolores) and Teresa not attending, it’s going to be rough. She’s walking into a snake pit with everyone looking to sink their fangs into her.
Louie’s working hard to get this family to speak about their feelings. Introducing this crop of people to self-help techniques isn’t going to go well. They don’t respond well to communicating like that. However, there’s nothing I want more for this family than for the fighting to stop. They deserve to genuinely love each other and work through everything.
Teresa doesn’t think anyone has Jennifer’s back after Margaret revealed Bill Aydin’s affair. It was dirty for Margaret to do, but at the same time, you have to wonder if Jennifer laid the groundwork herself. You can only poke the bear so many times before they maul you.
Is it wrong that I don’t think Louie’s as bad as they’re making him out to be? He seems like a genuine guy trying to help heal this family. It’s not that weird.
Melania’s hurt over what happened between her uncle and father, but she doesn’t want the drama. She wants to let go of the overthinking and basically wants it all to stop. However, letting go of the past is often more difficult than it seems. Their family has been through war against each other. It’s time for it to stop because enough is enough.
Jennifer’s reluctant about going to Jackie’s event. Even Traci Barber feels bad for Jen because she knows how rumors can be damaging, so she’s feeling for her. Jennifer’s left both of the events this season in tears, and you can’t help but sympathize with her. Hopefully, this thought process doesn’t alter her friendship with Melissa.
I’m obsessed with Jackie throwing a college party event! Sometimes she comes off like a stick in the mud, so moments like this give her somewhat of a cool factor. She’s actually coming across like the badass Jewish chick from Jersey as she professed in her first season.
Traci defends Jennifer at the party after Margaret shames Jennifer for crying. She says you have to be kind. YES TRACI! Traci’s coming in hot in this episode, and I’m here for it. Melissa might regret bringing her friend into the show because so far their beliefs aren’t meshing.
However, the same can be said about Jackie. Jackie’s putting aside her past shit with Jennifer and being a damn good friend. The other ladies could learn a little about being loyal friends because they’re being mean this season. Facts.
Dolores reveals to the women that she and David Principe have finally split. I never understood that relationship. He was never around when she needed him. The best thing she’s done is call it quits because things were never going to change.
Jennifer drops the bomb on Dolores about Jackie questioning their friendship. Dolores is incensed. Patterson Dolores is coming out, and things are escalating quickly. Dolores says she doesn’t need to hear it from “this”. Big mistake. Being called “this” sends Jackie into a tailspin, and things are out of control. Dolores has to be physically restrained from Jackie. I hate them doing a to be continued with this. Ugh.

It seems as thought Margaret Jospehs has run out of patience. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star is going into her fifth season of the show and she seems to be taking this moment to settle some grudges. As we saw in the first episode, she came hard for long time nemesis, Jennifer Aydin. She outed Jen for being cheated on by “perfect husband” Bill Aydin. While the incident happened 10 years ago, Marge made sure Jen knew that she wasn’t going to tolerate her superiority complex any longer.
As if that wasn’t enough, Margaret is making it a point to be the one to pop Teresa Giudice’s “love bubble.” Teresa’s fiancé, Luis “Louie” Ruelas, made his debut on the show this season. Despite a million red flags, Teresa is all too happy to parade him around to friends and family. It seems like everyone knows he might not be the man she thinks he is, but only Marge is willing to go there with her.
Margaret recently explained to Entertainment Tonight what it’s like going up against Teresa when she’s in love. Marge starts by addressing Teresa clearing a table in anger, which was teased in this season’s trailer. Said Margaret, “She’s a very overgrown toddler. It’s like being on the other side of a very overgrown toddler — a very strong one, obviously — but it’s a very big temper tantrum.”
The trailer also shows Marge calling Teresa a liar, but doesn’t show why. But now we don’t have to wonder. Margaret revealed, “She says that I’m the one who leaked [anything negative about Louie] to the press. I leaked the video, I could get my hands on that video…’ I mean, cut me a break. I didn’t even know who this guy was! That was classic. I mean, if I had that video, I would’ve sent it directly to her. I wouldn’t have leaked it to the press. I’d be like, ‘What the hell is this?'”
But Margaret maintains that Teresa is the one who is lying, by omission, that is. In the premiere episode, Teresa admitted to “playing dumb” when it came to Louie’s unflattering video being brought up at the pool party. Margaret dished, “She says she never saw the video. She just proceeds to constantly pretend things aren’t happening. And she just makes up story after story after story. For what? What do you have to hide? What are you protecting? If there’s nothing wrong, what are you protecting?”
As for Teresa’s defense, she has continued to say that her actions are to “protect Louie” because “he didn’t sign up for this.” She’s even reminded him when cameras are filming and broken the fourth wall to ask why he’s being filmed at certain times. Imagine doing this for a full grown man. Eesh. Margaret wondered of Teresa’s actions, “What are you protecting him from? From what? See, that’s what I kept saying. If there’s nothing to hide, what are you protecting him from?”

The Real Housewives of Orange County used to be oozing with opulence. There was actual money on the show which created a level of escapism. The affluence of someone like Heather Dubrow drew viewers in, but in recent seasons that’s been gone. It might be too harsh to say the last season was garbage, but it wasn’t anything like fans were accustomed to. It was looking like there would never be any sense of high class or money on the show again.
However, all of that changed when it was announced Heather was returning to the show. With Kelly Dodd out of the picture, Heather was finally ready to come back. She seemed like the answer to all of our prayers for the show. That hasn’t exactly been the case. Maybe, a rich Housewife isn’t the key to all of the show’s problems after all. There have been some good moments, but Heather has mostly done a lot of bragging about her wealth. Around every corner is another instance of it.
In a recent appearance on her Two T’s in a Pod, Tamra Judge echoed some of the same thoughts. She stated, “I’m loving Heather so much, but stop talking about money.” But now we said it! Finally, someone close to the situation is calling her out on the asinine amount of bragging. Everything’s about money.
One does have to wonder though if Tamra’s possibly saying negative comments out of jealousy. She’s practically responsible for the state of the Housewives franchise as we know it. However, Heather’s back on the show, and Tamra’s not. Could she be seeing green with envy? Perhaps if she puts out this narrative about Heather, the powers that be might see things differently too. Would you really put it past Tammy Sue to think deviously like that?
You can’t argue the amount of money talk coming from Heather. Every episode seems to have a moment dedicated to the next lavish expenditure. Whether it’s the tour of her massive mansion or hinting at building another one in Mexico, it’s been a lot.
Heather showed zero hesitation in disclosing the price tag on her ruined sushi dinner. That’s another glaring example of the money talk Tamra’s referencing. Who has that kind of money to blow on something that doesn’t even come to fruition? Heather does. Tamra’s experiencing the show through the eyes of a viewer now, so does this truly reflect how everyone feels?

When it comes to Bravolebs, I love me some confident, independent women. It’s why my Summer House favorites include the likes of Paige Desorbo, Lindsay Hubbard, and Danielle Olivera. They know that they deserve the best, whether it’s a room with a big closet or the occasional sandwich (made by Carl Radke, perhaps?) It’s also why I’m so excited for Southern Charm to return, so I can watch Naomie Olindo make her triumphant return. Even the antics of Madison LeCroy make me laugh, especially when she’s dunking on Austen Kroll.
Naomie is back in Charleston out of heartbreak. She discovered that the seemingly-perfect Metul Shah was a cheater cheater pumpkin eater. They called it quits and Naomie moved back down South to live her best life. That also includes returning to Southern Charm, thankfully. Despite their past, she and her ex Craig Conover also seem to be on good terms these days.
Some fans wanted Craigy and Naomie to rekindle their romance after her breakup with Metul. However, Craigy is dating Queen Paige of the Hamptons these days, and they’re totally in love. According to Us Weekly, Naomie recently addressed those fans who ship Gizmo the Cat’s parents back together.
Naomie says that she and Craig will “definitely not” get back together. She did encourage fans to watch to show to see the status of her relationship with Craig, considering they spoke for the first time in three years after the split. “I aired it all out there,” Naomie teased.
She also had some kind words to say about Paige, which we love. “He’s dating someone who I really like. Paige is great,” Naomie said. *Ramona Singer voice* I love seeing women support other women. Hopefully, we will see Paige and Naomie develop a friendship now that Paige will be a guest on Southern Charm Season 8.
It’s truly the best whenever we get to see the ladies team up to expose the b.s. in each other’s lives. A good example is the Summer House ladies defending Paige’s feelings after she learned about Craig’s rendezvous with Kristin Cavallari. Or the unwavering support Paige and Ciara Miller showed Amanda Batula amidst her issues with Peter Pan Kyle Cooke. More of that in 2022, please.
