Cynthia Bailey & Mike Hill Hosting A New Dating Reality Show

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey married Peter Thomas in front of Bravo cameras. Their union was plagued by cheating rumors and financial problems. In 2016, Cynthia decided to end their relationship and swore off marriage.

Cynthia and sportscaster Mike Hill quietly started dating and in August of 2018 Mike announced their relationship on Instagram. It was obvious to RHOA viewers that Cynthia was smitten with Mike.

Cynthia even told the world that she wanted to take the plunge with her new man. Her prayers were answered when Mike put a ring on it at the grand opening of The Bailey WineCellar on July 26. Of course, the RHOA cameras were rolling to document the momentous occasion.

In an interview with Atlanta Black Star, Cynthia and Mike discussed their relationship and their new project together. “It’s such a blessing that we were able to find love again. We actually have a new show we just got a development deal for. It’s called The Hookup and we wanted to take our love and experience and excitement and actually help other people meet people,” Cynthia explained. “So, stay tuned for that. We’re in the early stages for that. And the great thing is, we’re going to be hosting the show.” Mike added that the show is “a dating game.”

This joint venture brings the couple full circle. “It’s pretty cool because we kinda met–well, we did meet– on a dating show. And now we are filming a dating show where we hook other people up,” Cynthia stated.

The couple met during a segment of host Steve Harvey’s television show Steve. Steve had the model and entrepreneur choose from three possible suitors. Atlanta Black Star  previously reported that Steve took full credit for introducing the couple during an interview with Entertainment Tonight. “Cynthia Bailey was going to pick somebody else. I told her, ‘You’re not picking that guy, you gon’ pick this guy [referring to Hill],'” Steve said. “I talked her into him, they started dating. … So now it’s pretty serious and they’re exclusive. She’s found somebody that’s she’s crazy about.” Wait–maybe Steve should host his own dating show.

Cynthia also told Atlanta Black Star that she was protective of her relationship with Mike at first. “Once I realized that this was the man that I wanted to be with for the rest of my life I became very protective to be very honest with you. So how did I deal with it? [The ‘RHOA’ cast] knew,” Cynthia shared. “At that point they knew I was very serious about him so didn’t nobody try. Nobody really tried me.” I am sure that former bestie NeNe Leakes had a lot to say about Cynthia’s engagement while the cast was filming Season 12.

Cynthia was shocked that she found love again. “I didn’t ever think I would ever marry again or even find love again. I figured I’d meet somebody after my divorce, but I didn’t think I would be talking about marriage and for me, that’s exciting and I do like sharing my excitement with the world,” she revealed.

Cynthia took to Instagram to reveal their upcoming wedding date. Cynthia wrote, “SAVE THE DATE this time & day next year 10/10/20, I will officially be Mrs. Cynthia Denise Bailey-Hill!”

In an interview with HollywoodLife, Cynthia gushed about their upcoming nuptials.  “We are in the beginning stages,” Cynthia said. “The date is 2020, which is basically 10-10-20, which I’m obsessed with my date. Apparently a lot of people are as well. It’s a pretty popular date, so I have to find a location.” The bride-to-be confirmed that their wedding will be filmed by Bravo. “It will be televised,” Cynthia said.

I really think that Mike and Cynthia seem like a good match. All I ask is that Cynthia picks a better venue than the one that she had for her wedding to Peter. Getting married under a bunch of dinosaur bones at a museum doesn’t spell romance, Cynthia. It spells marital doom.

90 Day Fiance Before The 90 Days Recap: Against All Odds + Tell All Part 1

Last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance Before The 90 Days, was packed full of drama and revelations. Many couples realize that their journey is about to get a lot more difficult as they attempt to start the K1 visa process. For some, there were breakups and for others makeups. This episode wrapped up the season and gave us Part 1 of the Tell All.

The couples must part ways, but not all couples handle the distance well. The cast sits down and gives an update on their relationships. Some of the most intense moments from the season are discussed. Let’s get straight into the recap!

DARCEY, 44 (CONNECTICUT) AND TOM, 39 (UNITED KINGDOM)

After riding high from a proclamation of love from Tom Brooks, Darcey Silva’s green-eyed monster rears its ugly head. Both sisters meet at the airport to ride home together after concluding trips with their men. During the ride home, Stacey inquires whether Darcey finally landed an engagement ring, but is shocked to find out she only received a key to Tom’s house. It must be a great feeling to know if you decide to fly over 8 hours, you can possibly get into your boyfriend’s house.

After getting dodged since she returned home, Darcey finally gets a hold of Tom via video chat. He is singing a much different tune than he was during their trip. Tom decides he can’t handle a long-distance relationship and would rather be just friends. He also reprimands her for calling and texting him repeatedly after he told her he would be unavailable to talk.

At this point, I expected black mascara to be running down her face and her infamous ugly cry. Surprisingly, she calmly accepted his decision. Could Darcey have grown up that quickly? Or did she keep it cute for the cameras then rage text him all night with a bottle of wine and a straw? Something tells me it was probably the latter, but we can dare to hope.

BENJAMIN, 33 (PHOENIX, AZ) and AKINYI, 25 (KENYA)

After an explosive fight with Akinyi over Benjamin’s neglect to tell his family he got married, Benjamin reluctantly informs them via text. Although this temporarily satisfies his new bride, most of his family is shocked by the news. The two share an emotional goodbye in the airport. Benjamin heads back to the U.S. to start the K1 visa process. It may take 10 years for him to afford to get Akinyi to America.

Unbeknownst to her, Benjamin can barely afford a taxi back home, let alone a visa. Not to mention, he is now in debt to Akinyi’s family for an unspecified amount for her dowry.  I hope he likes Ramen because Hot Pockets will probably seem like a luxury with all of his new bills.

REBECCA, 47 (GEORGIA) AND ZIED, 26 (TUNISIA)

For some reason, Zied decides to propose to Rebecca despite the fact that she is still married. I guess that visa was too good to pass up. Zied claims he borrowed money from his sister to buy her engagement ring. Ummm… what did he do with the money he took from Rebecca the day he went looking for rings? Either way, something tells me this is a disaster waiting to happen.

Rebecca is basically reliving her relationship with her ex, whether she knows it or not. The only difference is Zied wears skinny jeans and isn’t skinny. At the airport, Zied tells Rebecca “soon you will see my face, all your life.” Am I the only one who found that creepy? Can you imagine waking up with him  standing over you saying “you are mine.” She better hope her divorce is still on track when she returns to the U.S. Otherwise, Zied may bust out of his clothes like the Hulk out of jealousy.

ANGELA, 53 (HAZLEHURST, GA) AND MICHAEL, 29 (NIGERIA)

Angela Deem finally says goodbye to Michael Ilesanmi and Nigeria. She thinks their biggest obstacle moving forward will be having a baby. I find that hilarious given the plethora of issues that plague this relationship. Frankly, I am afraid for Michael. If he ever comes to America, I could see Angela on an episode of Snapped. He would basically be a prisoner in her house, forced to listen to her threatening him and growling in his face all day. Run, Michael, while you still can!

AVERY, 19 (OHIO) and OMAR, 24 (SYRIA)

Avery Mills informs Omar Albakour that the lawyer said his visa request will be denied due to the travel ban. She also won’t be able to move to Syria because it could hurt their case to get a waiver approved. Omar is visibly upset and doesn’t know if he could handle being away from his wife for years. He suggests that they move to Dubai for a better chance of being granted citizenship.

CAESAR, 46 (NORTH CAROLINA) AND MARIA, 28 (UKRAINE)

Ugh… Caesar is talking to Maria again with a renewed desperation and delusion. After an entire season of thinking Maria was a 50-year-old man, in his mother’s basement, she finally appears on camera. Although she isn’t attracted to Caesar, she likes how he treats her.  Of course, most people would like to receive money with no strings attached.

Apparently, she is living quite the posh life off of Caesar’s money. Maria claims that she hasn’t received any money from any other men on the dating site. We would have to be fools to believe that. Caesar, please get some self-respect and start saving your money for retirement. Update: Maria didn’t bother to meet Caesar in Cuba and broke up with him shortly after filming. Is anyone surprised???

90 Day Fiance Before The 90 Days Tell All- Part 1

It’s finally time to catch up with all our favorite couples on Part One of the Tell All. For some reason, Lollipop head Jesse Meester is invited. Clearly, the producers are hoping for Darcey to go off the rails and embarrass herself.  Darcey shows up looking like she is fresh out of Dr. Miami’s office.

Angela looks like she came straight from hillbilly hell. She literally takes a purse full of items out of her breasts in front of a shocked Caesar and Darcey. This is going to be gooooddddddddd!

Right out of the gate, Tom is asked why he is at the Tell All if they broke up. Tom says they are working on things, but Darcey considers him her boyfriend. Hmmm… doesn’t look good if you aren’t even able to fully agree on your relationship status. Caesar is hurt about being the only cast member to not meet their significant other. Akinyi tells everyone not only did Benjamin smell when they first met, but he was also larger than she expected.

Jeniffer admits she would have thought Timothy was a “freak” if he showed up with a stalker shirt with her face on it like Zied. Sigh!  No one can say this cast of foreigners doesn’t speak their mind. I can’t wait to hear all the embarrassing details to come.

Caesar is on the hot seat when everyone on the cast thinks he was used by Maria. Shockingly, Caesar agrees and thinks he should have stopped sending so much money. Things get cringy when everyone’s sex lives are highlighted. Caesar reveals he would have taken it slow the first night with Maria, but after that it would be “hammer time.” Chile please, he could have fed a starving man with the amount of gummy panties he had on hand in Mexico. There is no way he wouldn’t have pulled them out the first night.

Jeniffer admits she was shocked she and Timothy didn’t have sex, but Timothy is very respectful. That isn’t what she was saying all season.

Avery’s mom, Teri, joins the stage to discuss her daughter’s relationship with Omar. Avery gets emotional thinking about how the travel ban is forcing her to choose between her family and her husband. Teri admits she wants her family to stay together.  But she doesn’t think Syria is a safe place for her daughter to live. Omar wants to move to another country once he receives his master’s degree. Angela has a lot to say about Avery’s situation and cuts her off several times. I can already tell all hell is about to break loose soon.

Backstage Rebecca goes off about Jeniffer’s comment about Zied. Timothy attempts to smooth things over by saying “freak” means something different in Spanish. What??????? When that doesn’t work, he confesses he also thinks it was weird for Zied to wear a shirt with Rebecca’s face on it. Avery is the only person who defends the gesture. Did Timothy forget that most people found HIM weird in general? A t-shirt should be the least of his concerns.

It’s apparent from watching Darcey and Tom interact that this relationship is a train wreck. These two literally don’t know anything about each other. Darcey had no idea Tom had been engaged twice. His sister, Emma, joins the conversation with a much more subdued makeup look via video chat. She believes that Darcey only wants an engagement ring and a man to tell her he loves her all the time. Well, I can’t disagree. But it just feels wrong coming out of Emma’s mouth.  Does she think her out of shape brother is God’s gift to women? Obviously, he has some issues or ulterior motives if he even wanted to be with Darcey after the shit show of a season with Jesse.

More Cheating Allegations As Meghan Edmonds & Jim Decide To Divorce

True is love officially dead! The newest breakup we saw coming has hit Meghan King Edmonds and her very social husband Jim Edmonds full force. Meghan recently showed up on Real Housewives of Orange County, which has systematically seen the demise of many unions. Now the OC Curse has it’s latest victims. Literally 10 minutes ago Meghan and Jim were in counseling to work on their relationship – but a lot can change in a weekend.

Meghan’s summer was utter trash. She learned of an “inappropriate texting” situation Jim had with another woman. He admitted guilt but denied a physical relationship. As the world collectively sighed, “Sure, Jan”, Meghan then learned one of her twin boys was facing long term healthcare issues. The mom of three seemed to face both challenges head on. She sought counseling for her ailing marriage and treatment for her little boy. The couple just passed the 5 year mark, and this is one anniversary Meghan will never forget.

By now Meghan has figured out she won’t be the one to change Jim. The next one won’t change him either. According to Us Weekly, Jim filed for divorce the day after the couple’s 5th wedding anniversary. Timing is everything, folks! And please, Vicki Gunvalson, have a seat. Literally everyone saw this marriage ending at some point, she is no visionary.

A source said Meghan and Jim have been in non-stop arguments. “The latest fight began when he went to a recent hockey game and she began interrogating him about who he went with.” Meghan’s spirit animal must be a bull, because she charges straight into red flags. The source also added the cops were called. An insider shared, “During the argument, Meghan called the cops, but nothing came of it. Jim didn’t put his hands on her. The police chalked it up to a verbal dispute. No arrests were made.”

But let’s talk about the nanny! Oh Jim, how boring. Us Weekly also reported the ALLEGED cheating dummy au pair is “someone who has worked for them for years and is like family.” Carly Wilson, the 22-year-old caretaker, is denying she hooked up with Jim Bob. While Carly will be busy ignoring her phone this week, she has deleted her Instagram. In the past, Jim had posted about the nanny on his ‘Gram. The Instagram account, A Beautiful Snarky Mess shared a screenshot of Jim’s shoutout to Nanny Carly on her birthday. All posts regarding the nanny have now been deleted by Jim. SHOCKING!

Married in 2014, Meghan and Jim tied the knot after his divorce from Allison Raski was settled. Fun fact, Jim ALLEGEDLY cheated with phone texting lady during his marriage to Allison. For some reason, after Meghan saw photos of this woman and labeled her looks as “disgusting”, Jim was given a pass. So yeah, even though Jimbo sent some woman pics of his peen, it’s cool because she wasn’t pretty. Once again, my eyeballs have rolled out of my head.

At the end of the day, Meghan never would have gotten over it. She likely would have remained suspicious of Jim for the rest of her life, a la Shannon STORMS Beador. The Affair would have become another member of Meghan’s marriage and probably ended even if Jim Can’t Keep It In His Dad Jeans didn’t file. Pro-tip, if your man is a cheater and you choose to take him back, move on from the affair(s). It won’t help to hang it over his head for all eternity.

Apparently Meghan’s mom called the po po on Jim too. “Jim just went to his house to get his clothes out of his house while Meghan took the kids to an event and Meghan’s mom was there,” a source shared. “She called the police. The cops showed up and asked them what was going on. Jim said it was his house and he was getting his clothes as they told him to, when Meghan wasn’t there.” Officers then asked Meghan’s mom to leave the house.

RadarOnline is reporting that Jim took to social media on Saturday to whine about getting busted share some thoughts of his own. He wrote, “NO ONE CAN THROW A BIGGER TANTRUM THAN A NARCISSIST WHOSE [sic] LOSING CONTROL OF SOMEONE ELSE’S MIND.” Jim should just pipe down and get out his checkbook. It should not surprise you to know that post has also been deleted.

In an official statement, Jim has said, “It’s dangerous, irresponsible and hurtful to all to allow a rumor to be spread to the world because of insecurities.” Well don’t cheat on all of your wives and I’m sure those insecurities will die down going forward. Speaking of going forward, it’s time for Meghan to get on the fast track to healing so she can be a good mom to her kids. I’m sure much more will come out about this scandal. The question is, can you consider something a scandal if you knew it was happening the whole time? Stay tuned.

Southern Charm Star Shep Rose Reflects On Video He Shared Mocking A Homeless Woman

You live, you say and do ignorant things, you issue your “my bad” statement. You move on.  This seems to be the mantra for Southern Charm’s Shep Rose.

Fans of the show have watched Shep act like an ass to pretty much the entire cast.  Last season, during a dinner event hosted by Patricia Altschul, the ladies shared the fact he had made them all cry at some point.  What a sweetie.

Shep’s antics on the show made for interesting TV viewing.  Fans could vent their feelings about his nastiness towards his co-stars but they signed up to be on the show, right?  Things changed when Shep directed that nasty behavior towards a homeless woman on the street.  In a video posted, and since deleted, Shep could be heard mocking the woman as she collected cans.

The public outrage was well deserved. And Shep issued his version of an apology. Which didn’t really sound as though he understood why people were so upset.  Well, recently he sat down with People to discuss the video, and what he may have learned from it. “It was stupid, it was wrong, it was hurtful,” he admitted. “I so regret that. I hate being the architect of my own demise. You know what I mean?” he continued.

Shep goes on to explain he was with friends while in New York. And seemed to be so involved in taking pictures and videos he didn’t think twice about filming the woman.  Or the things he said. “It was just like a frenetic thing,” he said,”I did not think about the details or the consequences.  I still am regretful.”

The video just seemed to be par for course for Shep who was at odds with many of his cast members last season.  According to him, if you think he’s a jerk, you’re just not paying attention.  Uh huh. Sure. “I want generally to be friends with everybody, and I genuinely have affection for a lot of people on the show,” he explained. The real problem isn’t him.  The problem is the show. “The show is difficult because you have to walk a razor’s edge of being funny, and you’ve got to say what’s on your mind. Otherwise, what do you have, right?” he said.

So what has Shep learned from this experience? “Live and learn,” he stated, “I think I made a couple little decisions after that that I think were the right ones. And I’m going to try to adhere to my little promises to myself.”  Hopefully, being a decent human being who is mindful of how his words affect others will be one of them.

Shahs Of Sunset Alum Lilly Ghalichi Plans To Have Another Baby Whether She Is Single Or Not

It’s been the year of the baby for the Shahs of Sunset cast. First, everyone followed along (whether you wanted to or not) Mercedes “MJ” Javid’s harrowing pregnancy journey. Not only did she have a miscarriage scare, but she had a near-death experience when she gave birth to her son. Luckily, everyone is fine, but Mercedes won’t be able to carry another baby again.

Golnesa “GG” Gharachedagi also announced her pregnancy this year. Currently, GG does not have a partner, and got pregnant using a sperm donor and IVF. I wonder if Tiffany & Co. makes sterling silver baby butter knives as gifts? Former Shahs cast member, Lilly Ghalichi, also plans to follow in GG’s footsteps. And no, it’s not another entry in the CBD business, at least not yet.

In an interview with Us Weekly, Lilly shared her plans to have another baby. Last year, she gave birth to her daughter, Alara. But things were different then as Lilly was married to her husband, Dara Mir. Recently, Dara filed for divorce from Lilly due to “irreconcilable differences.” That can make things a bit complicated.

Still, that isn’t stopping Lilly from having another baby on her own. She said,”I’m having more kids 1,000 percent. Becoming a mother has been the most life-changing experience in my life for the better! I’ve never experienced anything harder or more difficult, but at the same time, never something as rewarding as seeing your baby, your flesh and blood. … I definitely want more children with or without a man.”

First GG, then Lilly. You really don’t need a partner if you’ve got cash and science on your side! And according to Lilly, she is going to “start the process of having another baby in 2020.” Since she is in her mid 30’s, it’s definitely a good idea for her to start the process sooner rather than later.

But, she might not actually be alone in this. TMZ reported that at Lilly’s daughter’s birthday party, excuse me, “glam carnival,” Lilly and Dara “were spotted sharing a passionate kiss.” Woo-wee, like I said, things can get a bit complicated.

TMZ also shared they were told that Lilly and Dara, “were all over each other for much of the day, both were still wearing their wedding rings … and looked very much like a happy couple.”

At the end of the day, they have to do what’s best as a couple. Hopefully they can work things out for their family. And good luck to Lilly as she starts her next adventure in parenthood.

Is 90 Day Fiance The Other Way Star Laura Jallali Dating Evelin Villegas’ Friend Raul Cabrera?

Well, the first season of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way has wrapped up and I have a feeling we will be seeing more of the show in seasons to come. Having the Americans go to other countries, where they will conceivably live in the future put a new spin on the franchise. The cast checked all of the boxes for viewers: naivete, impulsivity and an utter disdain for common sense, personal dignity and conventional social behavior. In other words, good reality television!

Laura Jallali and her husband Aladin Jallali were a difficult couple to figure out. On the surface, they seemed completely mismatched. Aladin was a young, good looking personal trainer living in Qatar. Laura was a middle aged retiree living in Florida. Aladin was reserved and dignified, while Laura was a bit on the, shall we say, crass side. Why were they together? What was in it for them? Love? Fame? Attention? Of course, the ill-matched couple’s marriage quickly imploded and they had an ugly confrontation on the reunion show, with Laura in full victim mode.

So, what has Laura been up to since her marriage tanked? Did you expect her to disappear into oblivion? Well, think again! Mrs. Jallali might have already moved on to her next beau. And he is someone we are all familiar with. The man in question is none other than the third wheel in the Evelin Villegas and Corey Rathgeber relationship–their friend Raul Cabrera.

In an interview with In Touch Weekly, Raul revealed that he and Laura have become, shall we say, “friendly.” He said that it has been “so awesome” hanging out with Laura in Ecuador, the country she fled to upon the demise of her marriage.

Raul shared, “She recently moved to Ecuador and Evelin introduced me to her.” Of course she did, Raul, of course, she did! He did not offer up any information on how Laura landed up in Ecuador or found her way to Evelin. Something tells me Laura was probably looking for a new well to “quench her thirst” for fame. Or, maybe she just headed to Engabao to go surfing. Nah, probably not!

Defending his lady friends, Raul declared, “Even though people are hating on her [Evelin] she is super nice and so is Laura. I have visited her a few times to hang out at the pool and we had dinner a couple times.” Laura should write a guide book for cougars–apparently, younger men find her charms irresistible!

Raul revealed that he’s enjoyed “getting to know her [Laura] as a real person.” He is also firmly on Team Laura in her divorce, stating, “It’s Aladin’s loss, because she truly loved him and I have been helping her with the process of overcoming the heartbreak.”

Purple sex toys can only be expected to do so much. They are notoriously bad relationship counselors and their droning buzz is a poor substitute for the comforting shoulder of an understanding new friend like Raul.

In full gentlemen mode, Raul went on to add, “All I can say is that we have a lot of fun together and she has such a positive outlook on life.” I would love Aladin’s feedback on that one!

“I am completely in love with her dog and so enjoy Laura’s company,” Raul continued. “She is super easy going and I am gonna teach her how to surf since that is one of her dreams I will make that a reality for sure.” Maybe pensioner temptress Laura did just head to Ecuador to learn how to surf–I stand corrected!

All of this is lovely, but of course, we all want the real dirt on the two of them. Is this a love match? Chivalrous Raul would only offer, “There is a famous adage in Ecuador…if you wanna keep something special, don’t share it with the world.” So THAT is why Laura’s marriage broke up–she didn’t keep it special! But, isn’t Raul’s tea spilling already breaking his own rule of privacy?

For someone who claims he wants to keep things discreet, Raul is a mess of contradictions. He went on to tease, “Let’s see what happens at the moment you saw her IG and Stories.” Yes, sharing your relationship on Instagram is the logical way to go to build a private, secret and special love.

Raul’s Instagram has a few pictures of Laura and Laura’s has one of Raul. Maybe she is also professing her adoration on Instagram Stories, which disappear after 24 hours. Which is about how long this alleged love fest will probably last.

According to In Touch Weekly, Laura did share on Instagram Live that she and Raul have “developed a very special relationship.” She also added, “He is an amazing man. I love this guy, he is so sweet and adorable and he knows how to please a woman.” Let your imaginations run wild with that one–if you dare! Jiggy jiggy–I don’t even want to think about it.

All of this may very well be much ado about nothing–or, more likely, much ado about extending Laura’s 90 Days for 15 minutes longer. All I have to say is Aladin, I think you have dodged a ricocheting blonde bullet in search of every ounce of attention she can get.

Love After Lockup Recap: Dangerous Engagements

Time is running out for Lacey on Love After Lockup. On last week’s episode, it became clear that her con is reaching the end of the road. Once John gets out of jail, she has a megawatt choice to make. Will she choose her fiance or her new fling Shane? THE ANTICIPATION IS INTENSE.

However, Lacey isn’t the only person facing some difficulty on Love After Lockup these days. Lizzy’s past is threatening to ruin her future fairytale with Daniel. Cheryl is begging for a wedding with Josh, but it is looking unlikely. Will they breakup? Vince and Amber continue to ride the awkward train. Will this episode be the one where they finally call it quits?

Cheryl & Josh

Despite the breakup tease, Cheryl and Josh are still together. Josh is trying to be a more romantic partner, so we’ll see how this goes.

This is their first dinner date, and how long until they fight? She’s asking him for a proper proposal, and he laughs a lot at the idea.

She had to buy her own engagement ring and do it all on her own. That’s kind of sad. However, his lack of relationship experience explains a lot. Josh is loving the sex with Cheryl, so at least something good is coming from this.

Josh is finally ready to get Cheryl the real ring she deserves. She doubts it’ll be a real proposal, but hey at least she’s getting something.

She wants a $5,000 ring, but she questions their future as a whole. She’s sick of hearing about what he wants. Why is she so emotional?

He’s trying to be realistic with her, but she can’t handle a normal conversation. Every time they get together, it’s drama.

Glorietta & Alex

Alex and Glorietta are engaged. JOY! Her mother is going to lose her absolute mind over this. I love that Glorietta’s mom calls Alex “the man” instead of his name.

Alex is trying hard with her mother, but she’s so rude. She’s looking for a fight at every turn. She sends her mother home since she can’t behave.

Alex asks to speak to her mother again, but she flips out over him touching her arm. He’s trying so hard to be nice to Glorietta’s mom here. He’s trying to tell her something important, but she’s entirely unhinged.

She won’t stop screaming and talking over him. PSYCHO ALERT. Her mom, Tammy, says she wanted to be nice, but it wasn’t looking that way. From the moment she saw him, she was nasty and cruel.

Tammy is crazier than her daughter. This engagement party was a total fail. Alex said he learned they can marry without conversion, but Tammy didn’t want to hear it. This family drama could derail everything.

Lacey, John, & Shane

WHY IS SHANE LOOKING AT ENGAGEMENT RINGS? Lacey is engaged to another man, but he’s ready to settle down with her. Dude. Stop being so weird.

I love how honest they all are about having no money though. Payment plans are the rage these days. John gets out of jail the next day, so there is no chance of this going smoothly. Good luck!

Shane is massively in love with Lacey. Although he’s all in, I don’t think she feels the same way.

Lacey tells Shane that she plans on picking up John when he’s released the next day. He freaks out, and she starts screaming in the restaurant. He demands to know who she wants to be with in that moment.

Before she can answer, he gets down on one knee and proposes. OMG. SHE SAID YES. Lacey is now engaged to two different men right now. Just wow.

Lacey is having a full-scale breakdown over Shane’s proposal. She’s flashing back to the moment John proposed to her. She says it was a lot better than what Shane just did. It looks like Shane honestly did it so he could get her before John.

Lacey finally leaves the table, and she tells Shane she cannot accept his ring. She freaks out on him for not giving his all when proposing.

This is so weird to watch. Lacey hits Shane multiple times in the face, and he ends the relationship. HIM DUMPING HER CAUSES HER TO HIT HIM MORE. MEGA CRINGE. Lacey is losing her mind over this.

Lizzy & Daniel

Daniel claims that it’s been hard to readjust into society than he expected. That must be rough. So much of his youth has been spent behind bars.

Lizzy starts ragging on Daniel about not having a job yet and is growing impatient. While going through groceries, Daniel finds a pregnancy test. He looks so stunned.

She wants a family with Daniel, but it’s definitely not the right time. He says he’s not ready to be a dad. I MEAN TRUE.

He is fresh out of prison and unemployed. A pregnancy would be so bad for them right now. He’s so nervous about the results.

Luckily, Lizzy is NOT expecting a child. He wants to hold off on having kids, but she wants them as soon as possible. Daniel wants to get his life together before becoming a father. Fair enough.

Lizzy is really pushing this. You shouldn’t rush into something like this. DO NOT have a child with her to keep her. That never works out. Walk away from the relationship if you have to.

Vince & Amber

Vince and Amber can’t even look at one another without being disgusted at this point. Amber thinks Vince is a con artist, and he looks shocked to be called that.

Amber can’t escape from Vince because he follows her wherever she goes. He’s a super stalker. STAGE FIVE CLINGER.

Amber is overwhelmed, and talks to Puppy’s mom about her issues. Vince doesn’t understand why Amber feels awkward around him. WHY DOES HE NOT GET?

This is the most cringe relationship I’ve ever seen on this show. That’s saying a lot because there have been some wild ones.

Amber is totally in love with Puppy right? Amber and Vince take a break for a bit so she can decide if she wants this.

She alludes to a secret she’s keeping from Vince. I wonder what it could be. Maybe Puppy adopted her. Adoption is a favorite pastime of this group of people.
