The former Real Housewives Of New Jersey star is following in her cousin Teresa Giudice‘s footsteps to open a pizzeria. Hopefully Kathy will be more successful than Juicy Joe was! Kathy says opening Pizza Love is something she’s “wanted to do for a long time” and has been quietly planning behind-the-scenes.

“I’ve talked about it in the past but the timing wasn’t right, [and] now I have the time to devote to it,” Kathy shared of the Bergen County, NJ restaurant, slated to open in June.

Kathy will be working alongside her ever-devoted husband Richie Wakile – think of all the sex innuendos he can make about pizza! – and two other business partners with restaurant experience. Hopefully not Jacqueline or Chris Laurita! The restaurant won’t just offer pizza – Kathy will also sell her infamous cannoli, plus Mediterranean fare.
“It’ll be a family restaurant,” Kathy told Page Six, who promised that contrary to how her family usually operates, Pizza Love will be “drama free.”

Kathy confirmed Teresa will not be involved. “I imagine she’d be focusing on her children and being a mother herself,” she quipped. I don’t think I will ever get over that last part of the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion. I got no closure so I was putting a lot of stock into the Watch What Happens Live episode that followed. Ideally, Porsha Williams would have been on to spill some tea on Phaedra Parks, but Kim Zolciak Biermann came through to shade her former RHOA costar.
As per usual, Kim denied getting her nose done and threw some insults at Kenya Moore. She addressed her son Kash‘s trip to the emergency room after he was attacked by a dog. She also attempted to clear up that weird tweet she sent to Chrissy Teigen offering up her daughter Brielle Biermann for oral sex to get John Legend tickets. Basically, she was laying the framework to return to Real Housewives of Atlanta next year.

Of course, the word of the night was “Phaedra.” I mean how could it not be? The woman got herself into some serious trouble this season and the craziness kicked up a notch thanks to the revelations from the reunion. Kim told Andy Cohen, “I think she is sneaky and she has got to be on something to have no expression and no emotion. She’s just like not there.”
I’m pretty sure Phaedra said ten words tops during the entire four-part reunion special. Then again, she ran her mouth enough as the puppet master this past season.
Even though I was shocked when Porsha said that Phaedra was the one who told her that Kandi Burruss wanted to drug and take advantage of her, I still can’t get over it. Initially, I felt like Porsha was in on it, but she truly seemed duped when she revealed that Phaedra said that Kandi is the one who told her she wanted to drug Porsha.
By now, the viewers are used to Phaedra’s constant stream of lies. Andy asked, “Were you surprised that Phaedra was behind the rumors?” He even admitted, “I was surprised,” but all Kim had to say was, “No.” She added, “It doesn’t make sense. She’s a lawyer. That’s a pretty serious allegation though. That’s not like a joke.”
What the hell was Phaedra thinking? How far was she going to let this go? She went so far to make Kandi look bad, but she ended up looking a million times worse in the process. There aren’t enough charity summer camps or pray circles for Phaedra to run to make up for this one. She made a colossal mistake and now it seems like everyone is against her.
Andy asked Kim about how Kash is doing after the dog bite. Kim shared, “He actually has perfect vision in both eyes. That’s all we care about. The rest we can fix.” Andy pressed, “You can’t really say more about the owner of the dog?” And all Kim had to say was, “I’m not able to discuss that. I’ve been advised not to at this point.” I’m sure it will be addressed at some point during the next season of Don’t Be Tardy. Thankfully, Kash is alright.
When a viewer asked if Kim is in contact with her parents she said, “They did text me about Kash, but no, I’m not.”

And of course, it wouldn’t be an episode of Watch What Happens Live if Andy didn’t ask Kim about her nose. He shaded her with three before photos alongside a frame of her look in the current episode and Kim just rolled out the same tired excuses. She said, “It grows when I was pregnant” and “I was pregnant for three straight years.” Kim insisted, “If I had a nose job, it would be straight.” Alright, Kim. Whatever you say, girl.
Speaking of the weird things Kim says, Andy asked her about that tweet she sent Chrissy Tiegen. In case you haven’t seen it, Kim wrote, “Sooo ur hubby is comin to ATL may 19 & Kash is beyond OBSESSED w him! Who does Brielle have to blow in order to meet him?? LOL.” Umm. I could never imagine my mom saying something like that. I get that Kim is going for that “I’m not a regular mom, I’m a cool mom” persona, but that was a little much, even for Kim.
And surprise surprise: Kim still doesn’t think that there is anything out of the ordinary about tweeting that. She declared, “I feel like people need to lighten up. Brielle helped me tweet that because I had too many characters and had to figure it out. It was all in good fun. Chrissy is super funny and Kash is obsessed with him. I’ll do anything for Kash so it’s good. It’s all in good fun. I’m married. I couldn’t offer myself up.”
That wasn’t really the best explanation, but then again there are much bigger fish to fry in the grand scheme of things.
Kim addressed her altercation with Kenya at Sheree Whitfield’s housewarming party: “I know she’s kind of like a lunatic, so I wasn’t overly surprised, but she was just being rude. I’m pretty possessive of my friends and Sheree and I are pretty close so, no. It was low blows. Don’t mess with my man, my money, or my kids.” And this gives Kim a story line when if she returns to the show next year.

Last season on the Real Housewives of Potomac, etiquette ruled the day. This season, it seems like the streets do. What I mean is that everyone is getting their word from the streets and damn, the streets of Potomac sure are busy!
We ended last week’s episode with Gizelle Bryant being unceremoniously kicked out of Monique FOUR HOUSES Samuels’ one house in particular. While Gizelle was making her exit, the other ladies had gathered to support a just arrived and highly emotional Charrisse Jackson-Jordan, who was feeling less Cha Cha and more Wah Wah that evening. But never one to let a conversation happen without her, Monique stormed out to the driveway to see what’s really happening. No, not what everyone said was happening but what was REALLY happening because Mo does not tolerate BS. I’m pretty sure she assumed the talk was all about her and instead of letting it roll off her back, needed to start Round 2 with Gizelle because she launches into stating that she doesn’t have to prove anything to Gizelle, which directly translates into her having something to prove to Gizelle. Because if she didn’t have anything to prove, why would she need to rejoin the conversation? Did she need Gizelle out of her driveway that bad? A still unbothered Gizelle lets her know she is happy to leave and the rest of the ladies rejoin the lame ass party.

Everyone goes back to playing cards but poor little Ashley Darby just can’t leave well enough alone and after already sharing a rumor with Gizelle that Robyn Dixon’s husband/not husband Juan is out there in the streets (here we go with those streets again) with another woman, decides she absolutely has to tell Karen Huger that very moment. Karen leaves her hand of cards to find out what Ashley is talking about and Charrisse joins them as well. If Ashley wanted to be inconspicuous about this conversation, she failed harder than the crocodile salad on her menu at Oz because Robyn immediately sees what’s going on and comes over. Ashley confronts her with the news and when Robyn doesn’t react in the way she expected, demands acknowledgement from her. Of what, you ask? Who the hell knows. I am assuming Ashley, in all of her teenage glory, thought that Robyn would immediately demand to know who what and why but Robyn doesn’t want to deal with rumors that come from the streets. And the reality is, this might not be any surprise to her. She claims that Juan can do what he wants since they aren’t in a relationship and Ashley’s little head practically explodes at the concept. Charrisse steps in to defend Robyn and tells Ashley she needs to mind her own marriage and stay out of everyone’s relationship. In fact, don’t just mind your own marriage, have a damn kangaroo cocktail or whatever you serve at Oz and have a seat.
Before things can go any further, Monique decides she needs attention and everyone needs to turn up and dance like its 1975 (seriously, why is Robyn dancing like ReRun from What’s Happening?). But Ashley, being Ashley, insists on trying to get Juan to dance with his wife/not wife and literally has to be pulled away by her own husband, Crocodile Perv-ee, just so she will leave him alone.
Speaking of 1975, Karen’s house is on the market! So Karen and the BBG go to meet with their listing agent, an unimpressed woman named Wendy. Any suggestions that Wendy offers up, from an open house to an actual For Sale sign, are immediately shot down by the Grande Dame, who wouldn’t dare let something as uncouth as a real estate sign adorn her lawn. Karen is sucking her teeth so hard it’s a wonder she doesn’t collapse in on herself! When Wendy mentions that the recent reduction in price, coupled with the amount of time their home has been up for sale will result in some bottom feeder buyers, Karen literally gasps and clutches her nonexistent pearls. This is all very rich coming from someone who doesn’t even have real marble for her kitchen countertops but Wendy proceeds, eventually convincing Karen to allow a private showing. Karen claims she won’t get out of bed for an unsuitable buyer but Wendy sure will and when she shows the house, the buyers and less than impressed and make a few comments about how dated the joint is. HA!
Despite being highly annoyed with Ashley, Charrisse already had plans with her to go dress shopping and apparently, that is sacred so she meets her and some little ram shackled store that sells what I thought were prom dresses. Not very Potomac-ish but neither are non-marble countertops so this episode has me all twisted. Charrisse can barely model her first dress before Ashley is there, all full of opinions and unsolicited advice. Cha Cha gets right down to business and lets Ashley know she needs to slow her roll when it comes to talking about everyone else’s relationship. Ashley’s defense is pretty flimsy, maintaining that being a good friend means sometimes spilling the tea, even when your friend doesn’t want to hear it. That might make sense if that’s what happened, but I’m not sure how going around and repeating rumors from the streets that said friend’s man is cheating on her is really the same thing. OK, it’s not. Not even close.
Charrisse points out the mess of it all and by calling Ashley “little girl” and Ashley becomes exactly that by jumping all over Charrisse for being treated like sh*t for the last four years by her husband, how she has a cloud hanging over her and only talks and cries about her relationship. Charrisse lets her know she is this close to knocking her out and I think it would be well deserved at this point – trust me when I say this, Ashley – your marriage isn’t rock solid and one day, you might find yourself in the same situation. I would certainly hope that other women would show you more compassion than you are showing Charrisse. Yes, Charrisse can be a little (ok, a lot) extra at times, but can you give the woman a break now that her husband of 20+ years left her via a letter from his attorney!? I really hated this whole exchange and word on the street is that Ashley is officially on my sh*t list! She storms out of the shop as Charrisse stoops to her level and tells her good luck getting pregnant by her old man of a husband (in so many words).
Monique Samuels and Big Drawers meet up with their Pastor and First Lady/Realtor to sign paperwork for the offer they are making on the Potomac house. That’s right, y’all, Miss Mo now owns FIVE HOUSES and in case you didn’t know, they are paying cash for this one. How does Monique not understand how people think she brags too much when she insists on pointing out not only are they buying a $4.75 million dollar house, but they are doing it with cash? I truly believe in the quote recently relayed by the incomparable Dorinda Medley when she said that money talks but wealth whispers. Now someone needs to make that a carved sign Monique can stick on her big ole island in her new house.
The Pastor and First Lady aren’t just there to sign paper work, they are also there to give out some free counseling. Maybe that’s included in the commission from the house but either way, Monique gets more than what she asks for when her Pastor instructs her to apologize to Gizelle for calling her a trick. Monique immediately starts to cry and blames her reaction to Gizelle on the fact that it reminds her of what she has to deal with from her mother-in-law. She claims that she didn’t plan on falling in love with someone who was so wealthy but she did and she is tired of being judged for that.
Sigh. This is the crucial part of accountability Miss Mo is missing – if you don’t want to be judged for marrying someone for their wealth, PLEASE STOP TALKING ABOUT YOUR WEALTH. Further, quit accusing everyone of being jealous of you and your lifestyle. Not everyone needs to have FOUR, make that FIVE, HOUSES. Monique literally cannot get past the fact that Gizelle might not like her for a variety of reasons and just chalks it up to her being hateful because she doesn’t have what Monique has. Which is kind of sad because it insinuates that Monique has nothing going on outside of her wealth for people to be jealous of.
It’s time for Charrisse and Gizelle to have their heart to heart with Robyn at Chateau de Cha Cha. Charrisse must be bored and/or drunk because by the time Gizelle arrives, she is wandering her house barefoot and slugging champagne with a tiara on her head. Her assistant/project manager/hair facilitator/dog groomer scuttles about in the background, setting out food. Robyn arrives and after a brief showing of the champagne room and what it will become, they settle in and get down to business about their concern for the rumors that Juan is seeing someone else.
Robyn admits she doesn’t want to deal with it because that means her current situation might not continue and she’s comfortable right now. Yeah, it might not work for you or me, or Gizelle or Charrisse, but it is “working” for Robyn. If you count burying your head in the sand and pretending to still be his wife but not being married to him while he potentially sees other people “working”, that is. Robyn says the kids are her number one priority and Gizelle wants to know what about Robyn? Robyn claims she is too closed off for a relationship right now, despite Juan wanting to get back together. She asserts that she wants the women to trust her, even though she doesn’t have a plan. Charrisse clearly knows what it’s like to hold on to a failing relationship long after the expiration date and gently suggests therapy. Robyn declines, saying she doesn’t need to be fixed. Oh but you do honey, and right now, even Jesus himself can’t fix your marriage/not marriage so please, at least take the therapy.
TELL US – IS ASHLEY BEING EXTRA MESSY? SHOULD MONIQUE APOLOGIZE TO GIZELLE?

Hand me some smelling salts, cause I have the vapors after part 4 of the Real Housewives Of Atlanta! Well all knew it was coming, but somehow seeing Phaedra Parks expose herself as a bonafide liar and a fraud of the sort that even surpasses Housewives nastiness was still a shock! And I don’t even know what to call her, an emotionless vessel of shade that has reached its sell-by date, but that nonsense went TOO FAR! Actually it went beyond crossing the line into crossing the galaxy.
There we all are, sitting on the reunion stage in our sparkly dresses, with our hair all puffed up, and our smirks frozen into irritated condescension, our voices permanently poised at a register for battle and self-defense, when out Porsha Williams came out with the revelation Phaedra is the one who told her of Kandi Burruss‘ alleged plan to drug and rape her one fateful night. Phaedra related that she heard this information this directly from the Kandi Factory – more specifically from Kandi’s mouth.
Since this was no word on the street, Porsha decided it was believable, and “asked” Kandi about it in front of millions, then spent months defending herself against accusations that she’s a liar.

When confronted with the cold hard facts, the wheels of Phaedra’s denial started spinning like a stationary bike on decline, but everybody knows the truth will set you free! Or at least set you free from keeping up appearances in this case. Phaedra tried to insist she was only repeating to Porsha what someone else told her, but the entire story came out, and there was no way around Phaedra’s lies. Porsha and Kandi exploded into simultaneous emotional break downs. Meanwhile Sheree Whitfield barely broke a sweat. I was Cynthia Bailey here – staring mouth agape, frozen in shock, and wondering what episode of the Twilight Zone I climbed inside and if it was time to take off my Spanx and make popcorn.
Everybody knows that if you’re gonna be stupid enough to lie on somebody, at least cover your tracks better than relying on a Housewife with Anger Management issues and a shaky grasp of adulting. Although I will say, Porsha did an admirable job of holding Phaedra down all season, never wavering from the Frick to show the crack!

Kandi is beside herself with rage that she was framed as a would-be rapist all on the back of Phaedra’s vendettas. Or something. When pressed by our intrepid (HA) host Andy Cohen and everyone else Phaedra had no answer for why she did it. The stupidest thing is her continually denying that she did it for revenge or anger. She gives absolutely no answer for why she lied to Porhsa or why when Kandi turned to Phaedra for support in Maui, Phaedra continued to say NOTHING! But still went ahead and held that restoration service. Restore my donkeybooty – more like Hypcristation Service!
Well, now Everybody knows Phaedra Parks is f–ked up, gone asunder, with no air mattress restitution in sight! As Porsha ‘sobbed’ (and I think I saw a tear or two?) then excused herself, Cynthia wondered what sort of an attorney would make such libelous accusations? Meanwhile the peanut gallery featuring Krayonce muttered that Porsha and Phaedra are both liars, and attempted to spin this as vindication for herself. While, yes, they may both be liars, Kenya is still one as well. And furthermore, why is she always trying to make EVERYTHING about her?! Can’t anybody else ever be the victim? Can’t Krayonce stop with the shenanigans (rhetorical question), and permit Kandi this moment for justice all on her own?!
Then Kandi freaks and decides she too needs to escape the madness by running off stage. Porsha sobs to her sister about being betrayed and used, because she would never ever lie about someone! Shamea Morton seized this opportunity to sidle right over to Porsha and collect her $200 for crossing ‘I Told You So…’ but Porsha is still not ready for the truth. She just wants support for being done WRONG as a friend! Kandi also tries to collect herself and process that Phaedra not only would say this about her but even worse Porsha believed it, then repeated it!
As Porsha sits in make up for a touch-up, still shaky and fanning herself with a craft services paper plate (where is Krayonce’s has-been fan when one needs it?!), Phaedra tries in vain to apologize, and insist she didn’t mean to hurt her. Porsha is not hearing it – as she should not.
Andy pretends to be beside himself, but he doesn’t look surprised at all. He was basically checking his watch, wondering how long he had to wait before forcing them all back on stage to ‘work through it’. Is Andy cut from the same cloth as Phaedra? That cloth is burlap and does not absorb the heart of any matter, plus it scratches real bad.
So many thoughts. Here are mine:
There is no excusing Phaedra. I, like Cynthia, don’t even know what to think! Not only did Phaedra lie once, but Porsha asked twice for clarification and Phaedra reiterated that lie. She tripled-down on that lie! I’m thinking Phaedra’s facade needs to crack because the lack of emotion she displayed was gobsmacking. What is in her holy water? Maybe the devil did indeed go down to Georgia and snatch her right up?!
In any case, Phaedra needs to find that Jesus and ask him to fix her!
Phaedra actually had a RESTORATION SERVICE to bring unity to the group, yet she never thought, in all that hypocritical time, that it was the right moment to RESTORE herself?! We all make mistakes… OK, well maybe we don’t all tell massive, fraudulent, slanderous, libelous tales on national TV, but um… taking this with a healthy grain of salt, we all make mistakes. In Maui, Phaedra had the opportunity to attempt to backtrack. She should have asked to speak to Kandi one-on-one, admitted she had perpetrated a lie, that she is the one who spread it to Porsha and admitted she had no excuse for herself but was sorry. Apparently by the time the Maui trip occurred, Phaedra had only told Porsha the drug and rape thing once. Porsha asked for Clarification Part 1 during the trip after the dinner where Kandi looked to Phaedra to provide backup that she would never use drugs, let alone plot to roofie a friend and co-worker.
If Phaedra was any kinda attorney worth her salt, she should’ve right there given herself the ‘out’ to claim it just slipped out in the heat of the moment after she heard it from someone else, but admitted that she lied to Porsha about the source. Restoration maaaaaaaybe could have had a half-change then.
Porsha does not get a pass. Girl – PUH-LEAZE. You are 35-years-old and should be smart enough to think about Cause & Effect. Porsha was sobbing that she had been used (she was) and that she never would have repeated it if she didn’t trust Phaedra, but still! That is the type of thing you just DO NOT REPEAT on national TV. Not at all. Not only could that destroy Kandi’s business and reputation (apparently she’s been being compared to Bill Cosby), but she has children!
The worst was also Andy, acting like the circus ringleader, wandering around the big top, twirling his cane, tipping his hat, and reminding the women the show must go on! Really? I think the trapeze is faltering and someone needs to close the Big Top pending an internal investigation from HR concerning workplace safety! This is the time for all to PUMP. THOSE. BREAKS. and find out when the lock on the lion cage broke!
The worst of the worst, though is Phaedra continuing with the lie and maintaining that she isn’t mad at Kandi. Cynthia tries to explain how that’s simply ridiculous, but it falls on deaf ears covered by wigs and delusional Housewives bubbles that completely obscure actual reality from TV reality.
With everyone corralled back on stage, Phaedra is about as hollow as a dead tree, and gives no answers, not admitting or apologizing for anything. Then Kenya, not getting enough attention, asks if Todd playing the role of “Marvin” in NYC to get extracurricular tail was another figment of Phaedra’s imagination. It was, but apparently she actually really DID hear that from the streets. These streets… I’d stay off ’em! Interestingly, Phaedra is more concerned about apologizing to Porsha than Kandi.
Seriously, though, did Kenya irk anyone else? Her smirking and posturing, her annoying phone call to Brandon, about how she has finally proven what liars Porsha and Phaedra are and how Porsha doesn’t deserve forgiveness. Go worry about yourself for once! Even She By SheMessyAsHell had the dignity to just keep her mouth shut, play the ‘support’ role, and let Phunerals By Phaedra call Willie Watkins to bury herself!
Then after ALL that Andy still decides to go ahead with the planned segment about the break-down of Kandi and Phaedra’s friendship. Cause uh, we didn’t see that illustrated enough?! Everybody knows a dog in fox’s clothing does not have any sparkle under its tail. That obviously makes no sense, but neither did anything else that happened last night so I mean it’s OK, right?
In addition to Phaedra attempting, I guess, to ruin Kandi’s business from the backend with all those lies, she came at it from the front too by helping Johnnie with his case against Kandi for unpaid overtime. He attests that Kandi owes him $168,000 (and change). Phaedra again shrugs – she just was doing her job as an attorney, representing a client in need and there was no secret revenge motive. BULLSHITAKE! Kandi sneers she could’ve had Angela Stanton backstage, ready to pounce on Phaedra in an effort to expose all her secrets and talk about that book that’s all a so-called lie as well. Also, it’s not like Kenya didn’t attempt to bring Angela out in a previous reunion… ‘member that?
Now of course Kandi did have a serious “mad day” concerning Phaedra, and no matter what she claims, Mama Joyce was not acting alone. Perhaps MJ and Phaedra should team up, harness their powers for evil together, and really stir things up? Furthermore, why, after all this, is anyone still sweating the Mr. Chocolate drama? Apollo’s fiancé is trotting around, claiming they’ve been together for 2 years, yet we’re still acting as if Phaedra is so wrong for talking to another man? Of all the things Phaedra has done – and everybody knows there’s been A LOT – that just seems so silly!
Are we still acting as if Kandi had a right to dog Phaedra as a friend over this? Of course, everybody knows Phaedra will see your shitty friendship and raise you double!

Since there is literally nothing else that could be said about this disaster of a reunion, which even managed to top the brawl, Andy makes the rounds asking for final thoughts. Sheree had a good reunion – she got to confront Bob, and let Andy Fix Her Life! Cynthia, well she made Fifty-Cyn look good and was rewarded with a birthday cake that looked like it had a coffin on top of it. I think Cynthia was at her best wading through the Phaedra/Porsha/Kandi muck, and was the only one who offered up genuine reactions and attempted to explain how it had crossed a terrible line.
Despite Frack’s pleas-ish for forgiveness, Porsha is obviously not ready – especially since Phaedra STILL refuses to own her lies! Porsha realized that as “f–ked up” as it all was, it turned into a reckoning moment for her as she apologized even to Kenya (she finally FINALLY got her vindication too!) and declared that she doesn’t want to be a person who is part of this type of awfulness. Is that some adulting? It seemed genuine, but we’ll see!
Well, Phaedra needs to drink some of Lisa Rinna’s Own It! smoothie, and perhaps ask her pastor to restore her to humanity. Is it possible? Well, I have my doubts, but stranger things, right?!
