Kanye West is supposedly taking time off from his X (formerly Twitter) rants that had involved his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, Beyoncé, and Jay-Z’s children, among others. On Monday, TMZ exclusively reported that the rapper went to Tokyo, Japan, amid his online meltdowns, which could potentially cause him legal trouble. His tweets made headlines over the past week because of their high intensity and some profanity, which didn’t sit well with those he attacked.

Kanye West was pretty active on X (formerly Twitter), expressing his displeasure for ex-wife Kim Kardashian and Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s twins — Rumi and Sir. The rapper has now allegedly found respite after fleeing to Tokyo, Japan. Sources told TMZ that West flew from Los Angeles to Tokyo last week to “decompress” after a series of offensive online rants.
Sources further revealed that LA could be a “trigger” for West, but for him, Tokyo is a place where he can feel “completely disconnected and calm,” keeping his mind off of the online controversy. Meanwhile, his wife, Bianca Censori, also reportedly checked out of West Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont hotel on Monday. However, it remains unclear whether she will be joining her husband in Tokyo.
Kanye West’s X rant began on March 15 when he got into a heated argument with ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, over their daughter North West’s trademark. From then on, the rapper made several accusations against the SKIMS founder and the Kardashian family. He accused the family of restricting his parenting of the couple’s four children — North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. The Yeezy founder even called his ex-wife a “sex trafficker.”
Later, West attacked Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s children, questioning the twins’ mental capacity and using ableist slurs to address them. However, he backtracked his tweets about them only because he feared his X account would get suspended.
The rapper’s tweets have reportedly scared Kim Kardashian, who is planning to strip her ex-husband of joint custody. Previously, Beyoncé and Jay-Z were also considered taking the legal route after West attacked their kids.
