Lifetime actually cancelled Project Runway in January

The move of Project Runway to Bravo saved the series, because Lifetime's parent company, A+E Networks, had dropped its commitment to air two more seasons, cancelling the show—and that happened back in January. That included Project Runway All-Stars and Project Runway Junior, which were all dropped by Lifetime and A+E as a result of Harvey Weinstein's actions, which A+E said breached their agreement.
