Emily Middlemas was eliminated in week 9 semi-final of the X Factor live shows after the sing-off with Matt Terry.
Matt first performed Hurt by Christina Aguilera and then Emily performed Wings by Birdy.
In the judges' votes Simon voted for Emily to go through and Nicole, Louis and Sharon voted for Matt to go through, so Emily became the ninth act to be eliminated from the live shows.
Matt Terry and the other remaining acts: 5 After Midnight and Saara Aalto will compete in next week's final.
