Vanderpump Rules alum Stassi Schroeder and her husband Beau Clark are expecting their second baby in just a few weeks. They were in the process of finishing the new baby’s nursery when Hurricane Hilary hit Los Angeles on August 20. Even though downtown LA recorded just under 2.5″ of rain, the high winds and torrential downpours caused damage to an area not used to summer rain – or much rain at all, actually.
“New baby’s nursery,” Beau posted on Instagram, including a photo of water dripping from the ceiling and bubbling under the windows. “What are the odds that we can fix this before the baby arrives?”
“And [here] I was having anxiety about getting the blinds and curtains done in time,” Stassi added. “My hormones have me legit sobbing right now,” she wrote next to a video that showed water pouring out of the light fixtures.
Last month the Clark family experienced another terrifying ordeal when their two-year-old daughter Hartford got sick and began having trouble breathing. Beau and Stassi took her to Emergency around 6:00 a.m. They later learned the child had pediatric asthma, mucus in her lungs, and a high fever. Poor baby.
“Long scary day at the hospital,” Stassi posted on Instagram. “We brought her in after she was rapidly [and] aggressively breathing – doctors think it’s ‘reactive airways disease’ [pediatric asthma] on top of a virus.” She later shared that her toddler was “such a little soldier” about taking her nebulizer treatments back at home.
Earlier this summer, Stassi shared a sweet moment with her daughter as part of her “Straight Up With Stassi Live: The Mommy Dearest Tour.” The show, which coincided with the VPR alum’s 35th birthday, featured a moment where Beau and Hartford joined her onstage. Hartford, who looks like a carbon copy of her mommy, acts like her, too. While onstage, she grabbed the microphone from Daddy to sing “Let It Go” with Mom.
“My daughter singing ‘Frozen’ onstage will forever be my favorite birthday memory,” the two-time New York Times Bestselling author pronounced.

Love is Blind fans have several reasons to celebrate as a ton of news about the Netflix reality dating show just dropped, with much to look forward to in the coming month. Are you ready to see what happened to your Season 4 faves, prepared to dive into Season 5? And most importantly, are you ready for your own Love is Blind experience?
That’s right! Ahead of the show’s new season, Netflix announced a brand new interactive video game called Netflix Stories: Love is Blind, which brings viewers directly into the show itself. With the success of the series, it’s no wonder the streaming platform is branching out into new media platforms and allowing fans a fun way to enjoy the upcoming season. While they watch new couples find love on their screen, they can also participate in the social experiment. Kinda.
Game on! Can you find love in the pods?
Netflix Stories: Love is Blind was announced via a game trailer highlighting simulated gameplay and showing you how you can have your own Love is Blind experience. First, you create your customized participant, choosing from various looks, hairstyles, and fashion. Once you’ve completed your avatar, you take your character into the pods and discover if love really is blind.
Like in the show, you talk to several participants, and once you have had ample conversations and gotten to know each other, you’ll slowly decide who you want to get to know more and who just isn’t clicking for you. Eventually, you choose who you’d like to meet face-to-face.
And that’s not all! Netflix also showed how the game proceeds once you leave the pods. Like a choose-your-own-adventure game, players can explore multiple storylines and take their characters through scenarios that play out in fun and unique ways. As you navigate the journey post-pod, you’ll find out if your character makes it down the aisle to “I do,” or leaves the relationship early. It’s all up to you!
Netflix is doubling down on its popular series. The launch of the Love is Blind game coincides with tons of exciting new content scheduled this coming September.
On September 1, the network is dropping the Love is Blind: After the Altar special that brings back fan favorites from Season 4 and gives viewers a peek into how they are faring one year later. Are Brett Brown and Tiffany Pennywell Brown still blissfully in love? Did Paul Peden reconnect with Micah Lussier after leaving her at the altar? You’ll see all that and more based on a trailer promising a lot of tension!
Then after the special, the game is set to launch on September 19, right before the launch of Season 5 on September 22. It’s going to be a busy September indeed for Love Is Blind fans, and we can’t wait to see all the drama unfold as new couples form, split, and reconnect in the new season, made even more exciting by the launch of the mobile game.
Netflix Stories: launches on September 19 through the App and Google Play Store. Love is Blind Season 5 premieres on September 22 on Netflix.

As the double bill of Below Deck Down Under reached its second episode this week, there are more mistakes aboard the Northern Sun. While we didn’t want it to be Adam’s fault, it was. He didn’t get the fender in place in time, resulting in an expensive scratch to the side of the yacht. His lines were also in need of some adjustments from João. Fortunately, the bosun has a soft spot for the hard worker. What happens at the end of this week’s second instalment, however, may be the final straw for Captain Jason. Here’s everything that went down in Below Deck Down Under Season 2, Episode 11.
Captain Jason wants deck team perfection

After an emotional goodbye from the nicest guests ever, who thanked the crew for making “every moment so special for all of us,” it was time for the usual turnover, and tip meeting. As this was just a one-day charter, the tip wasn’t going to be as big as some we’ve seen. Still, the guests clearly loved their time, as they left a whopping $17,500 behind, breaking down to $1,458 per person. Not bad at all!
As for the feedback. Captain Jason wants interior to keep their foot on the gas; they and Tzarina are making an incredible team. As for the deckhands, however. There are “too many mistakes,” and this next charter has to be “perfection.” This far into the season, the “little mistakes” are beginning to add up.
It’s not all bad news, however, as Jason reveals the crew will get the rest of the day off. He’s prepared an exciting excursion consisting of diving, snorkeling, and regenerating coral for the Barrier Reef. He’s got one final surprise for Aesha, in the form of her moustachioed boyfriend, Scott! Their reunion is a beautiful one. It’s emotional, and I’d be lying if I said I could understand a single sentence that came out of Aesha’s mouth.
Aesha and Scott have been together for over two years. “He’s my best friend in the world, I love him so much,” she says, before introducing him to the rest of the crew. “It’s such a nice top up of love.” She even tells Scott that João has been on his best behavior!
Time to relax

As they head to the Coral Sanctuary on Fitzroy Island, João and Tzarina are touchy-feely on the journey. There is 100% something going down here in future episodes. I can’t even be mad about it; João is slowly winning me over. It really does feel like he’s changed.
It’s great to see the crew giving back to the ocean. Aesha notes how the yachting industry has negatively impacted on the ocean in some ways, so she’s happy to be able to cultivate new life, by planting coral.
After their good work, the crew head for some food. Adam jokes that Margot can be his “fake girlfriend” for the day, which leaves Harry a little upset. This whole situation is kinda awkward. It was clear that Adam and Margot are just friends goofing around, but Harry thinks they’re flirting.
It doesn’t get any better when Adam later asks Margot to rub sun protection into his back. Perhaps it’s the lovebirds Aesha and Scott that has everybody feeling some sort of way. “They’re gonna get married,” Tzarina says. Then, she makes some more moves on João. “I think you have the perfect body for a guy,” she tells him, before noting that she is drunk so she may be mistaken. Still, those arm tickles don’t lie! There are feelings there. Or she’s just trying to get over Culver being stuck to Jaimee like glue. One of the two.
A trip to the Friend Zone

Heading for food and drinks, the crew arrive at the marina. Everyone loves Scott. He seems like an easy guy to get along with. Culver and Jaimee are discussing home life. Culver tells tales of his family farm, and Jaimee notes a psychic told her she’d marry someone with a farm. Well, if it’s written in the stars!
Adam loves yachting, and has promised his family a house in the near-future. I really hope it works out for him. João tells him that he’ll get in touch with his brother, and try to wrangle him a commercial yachting position. It’s nice to see just how far João has come. Please don’t mess it up, João. We’re rooting for you! People really can change, and you’re proving that.
Harry speaks to Tzarina about her connection with João. She responds that anything sexual would be “playing with fire,” and that “sex ruins a lot.” When Margot then asks João for a massage in exchange for a head scratch, she tells Harry he’s being “friend-zoned.”
This leads to some petty back-and-forth between Harry and Margot, because she’s shocked he does leg workouts. They go for a private one-to-one, and Harry finally gets it. She’s just not that into him. He feels awful, but takes it like a champ. He’s not a toxic bloke; just one who wears his heart on his sleeve.
Has Jaimee broken girl code?

On the return to the yacht, Tzarina calls Culver her favorite insult of the season: “slut.” Jaimee is beginning to grow weary of the whole situation. “It’s not funny banter,” she fumes to Culver. The conversation continues in the hot tub, where Jaimee demands Culver say something to Tzarina. “You clearly need to set boundaries,” she advises. It’s fair enough. Jaimee is still fresh on the boat, and while she knew Tzarina liked Culver, that’s not really her problem. Culver is the one with some explaining to do.
João goes to Tzarina’s bunk to see if she’s up for some hot tub time. She’d rather just go to sleep, and seemingly hints that João can join her. Instead, he leaves her to rest.
The next day, Scott is leaving. He’s planning a trip to the Philippines with Aesha, where Captain Jason lives. The goodbye is an emotional one. Aesha deserved this reunion. It was everything and more. These two are life partners for sure.
Meanwhile, Culver jokes he might be back on his tinned tuna diet after talking to Tzarina. Their chat goes surprisingly well. Tzarina is angrier at Jaimee than Culver, it seems. She thinks she’s broken “girl code.” Now, I’m not a girl, but I actually don’t think Jaimee needs to explain herself. Love Tzarina, but not vibing with her on this one.
Adam’s next mistake may prove fatal

In a preference sheet meeting, the heads of department learn about Emily Monstrey. She’s the primary guest, an American investor who got stuck in Australia during the pandemic, and now calls the country home. She’ll be coming on board with a bunch of her friends.
João warns his team that “sometimes, I’m gonna be the bad guy.” He needs to whip them into shape, so it’s fair enough.
The guest arrival is a smooth one, and undocking goes well. The tender is secured, the guests are happy and sipping on drinks, while Tzarina is prepping food. It’s when the yacht prepares to anchor that a major problem sets in.
Adam is sent to release the anchor, but it slips through too early. Unable to engage the chain, it’s slipping at a fast rate deeper into the ocean, all while the yacht continues to move at speed. “That anchor chain can whip out and take your head off,” João interviews. Then we get the dreaded, TO BE CONTINUED. Oh, Adam…
Below Deck Down Under continues Mondays at 8/7c on Bravo.

The Bachelorette star Charity Lawson gave out her final rose. Dotun Olubeko proposed to her, and she joyfully accepted. But during a live segment of After the Final Rose, he had a surprise for Charity.
Welcome to the ballroom, Charity!
“So I know you like to cut up, you like to dance and you like to get down. And you know that we’ve talked about this about how amazing this opportunity would be, and I am so happy to be the one to tell you that you’re going to be on Dancing with the Stars,” Dotun said.
Charity was shocked, and thrilled. She quipped about her sparkly gold dress, “I’m looking like the Mirrorball right now!”
So far, we know that Charity will be competing against Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix. There was speculation that Gerry Turner, also known as The Golden Bachelor, may take a spin around the ballroom. The remainder of the Season 32 cast of DWTS will be announced on September 13 on Good Morning America.
We also know that Alfonso Ribeiro will be hosting with Julianne Hough. The former dance pro and judge will replace Tyra Banks. “It feels like we’re in the older seasons of Dancing with the Stars, with the wisdom and the knowledge of all the years of experience, but with the sense of nostalgia and home from the earlier seasons,” Julianne stated. I love that nostalgic vibe.
Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough will be judging again this season. Sadly, the legendary Len Goodman passed away shortly after announcing his retirement. I’m sure the show will pay tribute to the longtime judge. No one can replace Len.
Dancing with the Stars will return in the fall, on Monday nights from 8 p.m. ET to 10 p.m. ET on ABC. It will also be streaming live on Disney+.

The wives (or, more precisely, ex-wives) and the drama are back! Sister Wives Season 18 premiered on August 20 and is off to a tense start with the Brown patriarch Kody Brown actively proclaiming his hatred for his ex-wife Christine Brown in the season premiere.
Even though everyone and their mother saw their marriage crumbling over the years, Kody still can’t accept that Christine finally had enough and left him last season, taking their 12-year-old daughter, Truly, and moving to Utah. Christine has made it clear that Kody and the drama are in the past and that she’s much happier now. The same can’t be said for Kody, who is still grappling with their split.
He shared with US Weekly that instead of working on moving on, he’d rather “spend some time hating her” because he feels betrayed about her leaving him after everything he has done for their marriage. And while Christine may have hoped for an amicable split, that isn’t in the cards now.
In fact, amicable is probably the last thing on Kody’s mind, and he went on to say, “I kind of feel like, in my heart, I never want to see her again.” That’s going to be difficult, though, because of their kids, and the pair’s meeting to discuss the holidays during the season premiere shows how awkwardly painful it will be for the foreseeable future.
Kody likens the state of the family to a civil war, making it very clear where he stands on their divorce. While Christine is focusing on creating a new life, he is just not ready or willing to accept the separation, which makes their interactions difficult to watch.
And his desire to hate her isn’t helping, prompting him to say things like “you’re mean” during their discussion and making an already tense situation even worse.
The last laugh
On the other hand, Christine is having her decision to leave him consistently validated by his ongoing bad behavior. She wants as little to do with him as possible, even making it very clear that while the kids will come over during the holidays, she will be staying with Janelle and not going to Robyn’s house.
Ultimately, it looks like she’s getting the last laugh, literally and figuratively. When the topic of Kody’s bout with COVID-19 came up, Christine lightly mentioned how their daughter’s description of him made her laugh a little bit, and he made it abundantly clear that it was no laughing matter.
In fact, he hasn’t been laughing ever since she left him. For her part, Christine has learned that it’s necessary to have a sense of humor in a difficult situation. And more than anything, seeing Kody reiterates that she made the right decision. “I’m not married to him anymore,” she laughed during a confessional. “It’s so freaking awesome!”
Kody and Christine are obviously in different places, and we have yet to see how this will continue to play out in this new season. One thing’s for sure, there’s definitely going to be more drama ahead.
Catch Sister Wives Season 18 on TLC at 10/9c every Sunday.
