Albie Manzo Makes The Best Out Of Turning 30

A lot of people find it difficult hitting a milestone birthday, but Manzo’d With Children star Albie Manzo actually seems very content about turning 30 and he has made the best out of what many other people turn into a frightening situation. Caroline Manzo‘s oldest son has made a lot of changes and set some goals to make this new decade of his life a happy and successful one.

I’m not really surprised that Albie has this attitude since it seems like he’s been on this self-improvement path for a while now. Nevertheless, props to Albie for striving to better himself.

In an interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish, Albie talked about turning the big 3-0. Albie explained, “When I was turning 30, I had just moved back to Hoboken and I had got out of a relationship and was doing my work. I made a couple of really, really big decisions that set me up on my own, having no idea what I wanted to do.” Which we all saw play out on his reality TV show.

Even though Albie is all about setting goals and improving, he did have a little bit of that standard freak out that most people have when they reach this age. Albie admitted, “One day, you just wake up and you’re like, ‘Wow, the first number of my age is going to change.’ As I look back on the decade of my 20s, at first, I was like, what do I have to show for it, No.1, and where do I want to go, No.2.  I look at it and say to myself, ‘Am I really proud of where I’m at?'”

As all of Albie’s Instagram followers know, the man has really been working on his fitness and looking super hot. Six months before the big birthday, Albie decided to make some steps for self improvement. Albie said, “I called [trainer] Rodrick [Covington] and said, ‘Let’s get to work.’ I wrote out some things that I wanted to accomplish in my career life.”

Albie also explained how health and fitness taught him things that he can apply to other aspects of his life. He explained how eating healthily translated into so much more for him: “When you’re cutting certain foods out or certain habits out of your life that are counterproductive for what you’re trying to achieve, it’s the same way in your relationships with people. There are certain people, for whatever reason, are just not good in your environment, and they kind of set you back. You start to really learn how to pick up on those things and apply it.”

That definitely makes sense to me. It really seems like Albie is on a good path to make this thirtieth year a good one.

Stassi Schroeder Opens Up About Finally Being Single

I’m not gonna lie, I was upset and disappointed when Stassi Schroeder quit SUR and left Vanderpump Rules to be in New York with her ex Patrick. Why would she leave the show that made her famous? I was super annoyed by it, but as we all know, she came back with her tail between her legs and has managed to get back in the good graces of her former-turned-current co-stars and she is back on the show. Stassi also admits that being single is actually a good thing and has done a lot for her.

I feel like we have all been there, or at the very least know someone who has been caught up in a relationship like that. I’m just happy that we got Stassi back throwing shade on Vanderpump Rules. All is right in the world again and this is definitely a silver lining of the breakup. Plus, I am curious to see how the chronically coupled Stassi acts as a single lady.

It seems like Stassi’s on-again-off-again relationship is finally done and she’s actually okay with being single. In an interview with People, Stassi admitted that she is trying to reform from her old habits. She said, “I’m like, actively trying not to do what I normally do, which is just jump right into a relationship.”

Thank God. She’s finally seeing the light. Good for her.

Stassi also revealed, “I actually didn’t know how independent I was, and that’s been really cool [to discover]. When you’re just alone all the time, you really do learn that you can handle s—.”

That’s good and all, but you should be able to handle your shit whether you are in a relationship or not, hopefully she brings independence into her next relationship and does not let that just be something she has when she’s single.

Stassi tweeted (and later deleted) that she was finally single in July 2016. She also explained why she felt the need to post that in the first place. Stassi reasoned, “Because we’ve broken up and gotten back together so many times, it was like: ‘We can’t do this pattern anymore, this routine of breaking up and getting back together every month.’ I cannot do it. Like, I can’t. And so I have to do something to make this official.”

Fair enough. But it is hard for people to take anything at face value with the constant breaking up and making up. Still, it really does seem like Stassi‘s actually single these days. I’m curious to see how she fares as pretty much the only single cast member on Vanderpump Rules. It’s a role reversal for sure.

Kate Chastain Got Stuck On A Deserted Island & Survived Thanks To Potato Chips & Rosé

I love watching Kate Chastain on Below Deck, but I am also a little bit afraid of her – even as I safely watch the show from my couch at home. It is clear that she is not someone you want to mess with. This is a tough woman who knows how to get through difficult situations and get shit done. So I’m not surprised that Kate survived getting shipwrecked on a deserted island.

Kate is a total boss so I’m sure that she made the best of what she had in such a scary situation. I’m not gonna lie, I do wish that this was a part of the show, but then again, if she was on an island with a camera crew, then she wouldn’t truly be stranded so I get that this is impossible. Nevertheless, I love anything that involves Kate Chastain and as per usual, she has an interesting story to tell.

Kate opened up getting stuck on an island in an interview with Page Six. And weirdly enough, she really did not seem fazed by the whole ordeal.

Kate explained, “The speedboat I was on, we were on our way down to Turks and Caicos, just the captain, his friend and I, and the captain wanted to cut corners and get there quickly and he hit a coral reef and we were shipwrecked for three days on a desert island.”

That sounds pretty traumatic to me, but Kate was able to make the best out of the situation – somehow.

The Below Deck star revealed, “We had like two boxes of potato chips and, luckily, about four cases of Domaine Ott rosé wine, so actually it was like a mini-vacation.” That doesn’t sound relaxing to me, but props to her for enjoying herself in an otherwise scary situation.

Even though Kate didn’t seem overly concerned about surviving, she did make some tough calls when it came to saving her wardrobe when the boat started to take on water.

Kate explained, “I went down to my closet and I was like, ‘Leather jacket, you’re coming with me. Okay, Pucci dress, I can wear you out.’ I don’t know where I thought I was going, I was going to a desert island if I survived. My first instinct was to grab my most treasured clothes.”

That is way too funny. Such a #TotalKateMove. And once again, I find myself wishing that this could have been featured on an episode of Below Deck.

Cynthia Bailey Opens Up About Her Decision To Divorce Peter Thomas

This season of Real Housewives of Atlanta is going to be a tough one for Cynthia Bailey. We saw Cynthia meeting with a divorce lawyer during the very first episode of the season, and now that it is all filmed, she is going to have to live through this divorce process all over again when the episodes air.

Yes, there has been trouble brewing for a long time with Cynthia and Peter Thomas, but it still is a big difference between having issues in a marriage and going through the steps to make a divorce happen. I can’t help wondering how Cynthia is feeling these days.

In an interview with BravoTV, Cynthia opened up about finally deciding to move forward with a divorce. After a lot of public speculation about the troubles in their marriage, Cynthia revealed, “I ultimately decided that it was time to end my marriage with Peter when I felt like I had reached my own personal breaking point.”

Peter has been involved with so many scandalous things that I cannot help being curious enough to wonder what the final straw was that broke the camel’s back.

Cynthia added, “I believed that I had given as much as I could – spiritually and emotionally I had nothing else to give. I realized that going forward I could be a better friend to Peter than a wife.”

I wonder if these two really will be “friends,” since they don’t have any kids together, it seems like they could just have a pretty clean break. It’s obvious that Peter loves appearing on Real Housewives of Atlanta so if they really do end up being “friends,” I’m sure that this will be featured on the show as well.

I felt so awkward and (embarrassingly) emotional when Cynthia met with her lawyer during the latest episode. It felt very real and not like the very obvious stunts that I’ve seen on these shows over the years.

Cynthia explained how she felt meeting with her lawyer to make the divorce official. The model admitted, “It was very difficult. Thinking about divorce is one thing, but actually retaining a lawyer to move forward with your decision makes it more official.” Fair enough. That seems like a very natural way to feel about the situation.

Cynthia also admitted, “On my drive to my lawyer’s office I kept asking myself over and over in my head, ‘Are you sure this is what you want to do, Cynthia?'”

It sounds like it’s going to be a very emotional season for Cynthia. I’m sure a lot of viewers will be able to relate to these struggles. I am definitely interested to see how this all plays out.

Kenya Moore Throws Shade At Sheree Whitfield’s House & Finances

The ladies on the Real Housewives of Atlanta are the best shade throwers in the whole Real Housewives franchise. I would never want to mess with or compete with any of these ladies, but I absolutely live for it when they feud with each other.

Case in point, Kenya Moore and Sheree Whitfield have been feuding over the construction of their homes for what feels like forever. It seems like a dumb thing to argue about (at least in my opinion), but the tension is far from over for these two even though the season finished filming. Kenya is throwing shade at Sheree about her house and her finances.

Don’t get me wrong, I am so pumped to have OG cast member Sheree back on the show, but we all know that she needed this show as much as the show needs her. To put it mildly, Sheree has had some public financial struggles so I’m really not surprised that construction of her home, Chateau Sheree, took an eternity to get done. I’m also not surprised that Kenya has been promoting her own home Moore Manor and shading Sheree in the process.

Not only was Kenya throwing shade right out the gate during the first episode of the show’s ninth season, she also took to Twitter to take even more jabs at Sheree. As much as I love Sheree, I cannot help laughing at the way Kenya has no boundaries when it comes to going in on Twitter.

At the start of the show, Kenya tweeted, “Already throwing major shade #RHOA #Mooremanor” and I am not at all surprised by that. Kenya is a queen when it comes to shade throwing.

Kenya also could not help herself and made fun of the extremely long period of time to complete Chateau Sheree in a tweet that reads, “Ummm at least I live in my home..5 years later and still throwing stones from an apartment.”

I feel like Kenya should have double checked this tweet with a proof read for grammar, but I do get the point she was trying to make when she tweeted, “Maybe she she start paying her bills she’s be living in #chateaucharade by now.” I hate to be mean, but Sheree‘s very public issues with money and taxes seem like an obvious hold up when it comes to completing her dream house. I mean, it can’t take that many years to pick out molding and paint colors, right?

And the insults just kept on coming with this gem: “If you’re going to throw stones at least throw them from inside your house… chile.” I’m kind of confused by the “chile” part here, but maybe that shade was just thrown way above my head. Either way, we all understand that Kenya is calling Sheree out for taking an eternity to build her house and her financial problems.

Just in case Kenya was afraid that Sheree would not see her previous tweets, Kenya called Sheree out directly by mentioning her in this tweet: “I’d put my tax returns up against @IamSheree any day. #selfmademillionaire #25yearsgettingpaid #shetriedit #payurbills #struggleisreal” Damn. This woman really doesn’t hold back and this was all about episode one. I cannot wait to see the rest of the season.
