Margaret Josephs Slams Teresa Giudice As An “Overgrown Toddler” And A “Liar” For Protecting Fiancé Luis Ruelas

It seems as thought Margaret Jospehs has run out of patience. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star is going into her fifth season of the show and she seems to be taking this moment to settle some grudges. As we saw in the first episode, she came hard for long time nemesis, Jennifer Aydin. She outed Jen for being cheated on by “perfect husband” Bill Aydin. While the incident happened 10 years ago, Marge made sure Jen knew that she wasn’t going to tolerate her superiority complex any longer.

As if that wasn’t enough, Margaret is making it a point to be the one to pop Teresa Giudice’s “love bubble.” Teresa’s fiancé, Luis “Louie” Ruelas, made his debut on the show this season. Despite a million red flags, Teresa is all too happy to parade him around to friends and family. It seems like everyone knows he might not be the man she thinks he is, but only Marge is willing to go there with her.

Margaret recently explained to Entertainment Tonight what it’s like going up against Teresa when she’s in love. Marge starts by addressing Teresa clearing a table in anger, which was teased in this season’s trailer. Said Margaret, “She’s a very overgrown toddler. It’s like being on the other side of a very overgrown toddler — a very strong one, obviously — but it’s a very big temper tantrum.”

The trailer also shows Marge calling Teresa a liar, but doesn’t show why. But now we don’t have to wonder. Margaret revealed, “She says that I’m the one who leaked [anything negative about Louie] to the press. I leaked the video, I could get my hands on that video…’ I mean, cut me a break. I didn’t even know who this guy was! That was classic. I mean, if I had that video, I would’ve sent it directly to her. I wouldn’t have leaked it to the press. I’d be like, ‘What the hell is this?'”

But Margaret maintains that Teresa is the one who is lying, by omission, that is. In the premiere episode, Teresa admitted to “playing dumb” when it came to Louie’s unflattering video being brought up at the pool party. Margaret dished, “She says she never saw the video. She just proceeds to constantly pretend things aren’t happening. And she just makes up story after story after story. For what? What do you have to hide? What are you protecting? If there’s nothing wrong, what are you protecting?”

As for Teresa’s defense, she has continued to say that her actions are to “protect Louie” because “he didn’t sign up for this.” She’s even reminded him when cameras are filming and broken the fourth wall to ask why he’s being filmed at certain times. Imagine doing this for a full grown man. Eesh. Margaret wondered of Teresa’s actions, “What are you protecting him from? From what? See, that’s what I kept saying. If there’s nothing to hide, what are you protecting him from?”

Tamra Judge Wants Heather Dubrow To “Stop Talking About Money” On Real Housewives Of Orange County

The Real Housewives of Orange County used to be oozing with opulence. There was actual money on the show which created a level of escapism. The affluence of someone like Heather Dubrow drew viewers in, but in recent seasons that’s been gone. It might be too harsh to say the last season was garbage, but it wasn’t anything like fans were accustomed to. It was looking like there would never be any sense of high class or money on the show again.

However, all of that changed when it was announced Heather was returning to the show. With Kelly Dodd out of the picture, Heather was finally ready to come back. She seemed like the answer to all of our prayers for the show. That hasn’t exactly been the case. Maybe, a rich Housewife isn’t the key to all of the show’s problems after all. There have been some good moments, but Heather has mostly done a lot of bragging about her wealth. Around every corner is another instance of it.

In a recent appearance on her Two T’s in a Pod, Tamra Judge echoed some of the same thoughts. She stated, “I’m loving Heather so much, but stop talking about money.” But now we said it! Finally, someone close to the situation is calling her out on the asinine amount of bragging. Everything’s about money.

One does have to wonder though if Tamra’s possibly saying negative comments out of jealousy. She’s practically responsible for the state of the Housewives franchise as we know it. However, Heather’s back on the show, and Tamra’s not. Could she be seeing green with envy? Perhaps if she puts out this narrative about Heather, the powers that be might see things differently too. Would you really put it past Tammy Sue to think deviously like that?

You can’t argue the amount of money talk coming from Heather. Every episode seems to have a moment dedicated to the next lavish expenditure. Whether it’s the tour of her massive mansion or hinting at building another one in Mexico, it’s been a lot.

Heather showed zero hesitation in disclosing the price tag on her ruined sushi dinner. That’s another glaring example of the money talk Tamra’s referencing. Who has that kind of money to blow on something that doesn’t even come to fruition? Heather does. Tamra’s experiencing the show through the eyes of a viewer now, so does this truly reflect how everyone feels?

Naomie Olindo Says She “Really Likes” Ex Craig Conover’s Girlfriend Paige DeSorbo

When it comes to Bravolebs, I love me some confident, independent women. It’s why my Summer House favorites include the likes of Paige Desorbo, Lindsay Hubbard, and Danielle Olivera. They know that they deserve the best, whether it’s a room with a big closet or the occasional sandwich (made by Carl Radke, perhaps?) It’s also why I’m so excited for Southern Charm to return, so I can watch Naomie Olindo make her triumphant return. Even the antics of Madison LeCroy make me laugh, especially when she’s dunking on Austen Kroll. 

Naomie is back in Charleston out of heartbreak. She discovered that the seemingly-perfect Metul Shah was a cheater cheater pumpkin eater. They called it quits and Naomie moved back down South to live her best life. That also includes returning to Southern Charm, thankfully. Despite their past, she and her ex Craig Conover also seem to be on good terms these days.

Some fans wanted Craigy and Naomie to rekindle their romance after her breakup with Metul. However, Craigy is dating Queen Paige of the Hamptons these days, and they’re totally in love. According to Us Weekly, Naomie recently addressed those fans who ship Gizmo the Cat’s parents back together.

Naomie says that she and Craig will “definitely not” get back together. She did encourage fans to watch to show to see the status of her relationship with Craig, considering they spoke for the first time in three years after the split. “I aired it all out there,” Naomie teased.

She also had some kind words to say about Paige, which we love. “He’s dating someone who I really like. Paige is great,” Naomie said. *Ramona Singer voice* I love seeing women support other women. Hopefully, we will see Paige and Naomie develop a friendship now that Paige will be a guest on Southern Charm Season 8.

It’s truly the best whenever we get to see the ladies team up to expose the b.s. in each other’s lives. Paige DeSorbo Wants Gia Giudice To Join Summer House

Gia Giudice is a bonafide Bravolebrity, but what else do you expect from someone whose mom is the queen of Real Housewives of New Jersey? Teresa Giudice’s oldest dorter has officially made a Watch What Happens Live debut, bartending, shotskis, and all. She’s feuded with Jackie Goldschneider after the analogy of it all last season of RHONJ. This season, she’s standing up to Joe Gorga for talking about her father and proving that she can hold her own. Now, it sounds like a fellow Bravoleb has an idea about how to get Gia starring on a show of her own.

Paige DeSorbo is my Summer House queen. She’s a heartbreaker — just ask Andrea Denver. She knows a thing or two about a Bravo crossover — just look at her relationship with Southern Charm’s Craig Conover. And now, she’s starting a campaign to get Gia to spend her summer in the Hamptons. I, for one, am beyond on board.

Queens of Bravo recently reposted Paige’s Instagram Story, where she posted a screengrab of Gia on RHONJ. The caption was pretty clear. “I need her on Summer House immediately,” Paige wrote. Come on, Andy Cohen, make it happen. Gia’s officially 21 and needs to experience a LoverBoy-fueled summer.

This wasn’t the first time Paige has rallied for Gia to be on the show. Comments by Bravo reposted a comment from Paige that she posted on a meme of Gia. “I NEED HER ON SUMMER HOUSE,” Paige wrote. Clearly, she’s put some thought into this. I can see it now — she’d be gossiping in bed with Paige, Lindsay Hubbard, Amanda Batula and all of the ladies. She’d be a pro at the theme parties, and she already knows the key to good reality TV drama. I see no negatives to this genius idea.

Celebrity Big Brother 3 Episode 9 Recap: Surprise Veto Ceremony

Things inside the Celebrity Big Brother 3 house have certainly heated up as of late. Carson Kressley won the endurance wall Head of Household competition by making a last-minute deal with Todrick Hall who represented the “other” side of the house. At the block nominations ceremony, Carson put Meisha Tate and Todd Bridges up for eviction.

Carson had planned all along to target Meisha after she had unsuccessfully targeted Carson for eviction during both of her reigns of power. Then Todrick and Meisha devised a plan to throw Carson’s ally, Shanna Moakley, under the bus and convince Carson she needed to go. Did Carson fall for the ploy or did he see through their lies? Let’s find out during tonight’s Power of Veto competition and live eviction.

Block Nomination Ceremony Aftermath

Todrick devised a devious plan to save his ride-or-die, Meisha, from a certain eviction by current HOH Carson. Meisha and Todrick told Carson and his BFF Cynthia Bailey that Shanna had been playing both sides of the Big Brother house. Chaos inside the house ensued.

Although Carson did not nominate Shanna to the block, he does intend on backdooring her after the POV competition. When confronted by Carson and Cynthia about the story told by Meisha and Todd, Shanna defended herself fiercely. Her words seemed to fall on deaf ears.

Carson thinks his gut is directing him in the right direction thinking that Shanna is playing both sides. The truth is… Shanna saved Carson from the block in the very last round at the POV ceremony. Shanna may have been using both sides to her advantage, but she definitely had more loyalty to Carson and Cynthia.

Carson approached Meisha and asked her to make a deal for his and Cynthia’s safety in the next round. He offered Meisha safety this week under his HOH if she will promise his and Cynthia’s safety in the next round. Meisha agreed, and Carson was thrilled to share the big news with Cynthia who was also thrilled.

Round Four Power of Veto Competition & Ceremony

Todrick, Cynthia, and Lamar Odom will compete in the POV with Carson, Meisha, and Todd. This competition is called Sweeter Than Veto. The houseguests must carry one giant puzzle at a time down their lane to complete a giant chocolate box puzzle. The first to complete their puzzle wins the golden power of veto.

After only a short amount of time, Todrick won the POV. At the POV ceremony, Todrick decided to use the veto, and Todrick surprisingly saved Todd over Meisha. Carson nominated Shanna, as expected, as the replacement nominee.

Round Four Live Eviction Vote

Either Meisha or Shanna will be leaving the Celebrity Big Brother 3 house tonight. The houseguests voted as follows:

Todd voted to evict Shanna
Cynthia voted to evict Shanna
Lamar voted to evict Shanna
Todrick voted to evict Shanna

By a unanimous vote of 4 to 0, Shanna was evicted from the Big Brother house. During her eviction interview with Julie Chen Moonves, Shanna said she knew she was going to be evicted tonight. She also shared that her mind was blown by Todrick and Meisha’s actions of throwing her under the bus. Shanna was shocked that Carson didn’t believe her loyalty even though she saved him in the previous round.

PK Kemsley Slams Dana Wilkey For “Lying” About His Family; Threatens Legal Action

If there is one thing we know about PK Kemsley, it’s that he will defend family and wife Dorit Kemsley no matter what. It’s what I find endearing about the two. But the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills couples have suffered a series of unfortunate events in the past few months. None bigger than when Dorit was robbed at gunpoint in her mansion while her kids slept. PK was out of town in the U.K. for a wedding.

Thankfully, no one was hurt. But Dorit obviously had some trauma surrounding the event and took a break from social media to heal. When asked by a fan about her social media absence, PK responded for her.

He explained, “She’s taking a break. Here’s a quick update…she got more beautiful and has been working, looking after her family and she will return when she feels like it….she’s enjoying the break and I’m enjoying her awesome cooking.”

Now he finds himself defending Dorit and their family once again. This time against former RHOBH “friend of,” Dana Wilkey. Dana now makes a living talking about the franchise that booted her years ago. She recently appeared on Hulu’s documentary about Erika Jayne. She did a sit down to give commentary despite not knowing Erika at all.

Dana also hosts a podcast called Dishing Drama with Dana Wilkey Uncensored. And that’s exactly what she did on a recent episode. This time, she targeted PK and Dorit on a “deep dive” episode.

As reported by Reality Blurb, PK was not too happy about what she had to say. PK took to Instagram to go off on her and the screenshots were captured by the fan account CiciLovesBravoTV. PK started, “[Dana Wilkey] has done it again… She’s the [C-nt of the Month] for the second time.”

He continued, “This accolade has been awarded for the following comments she has made on her little podcast: 1. I have a 32-year-old Jewish girlfriend that I see in London and didn’t return to be with my wife after the home invasion because I was with this ‘blonde.’ 2. I settled with the Bellagio using insurance monies from the home invasion (Bellagio was settled [two] years ago).”

PK also took aim at a British reality tv star that he called Dana’s “little mate.” The star claimed he auditioned for PK’s U.K.-based real estate show. But PK denies it, saying that his team never reached out to him because his casting “sucked.” PK added, “You two [losers] can’t broadcast made up lies and expect zero consequences, I’m not that guy.”

He also called Dana a “[vile trashy] big mouth liar.” He warned, “Once again I’m suggesting you stop spreading lies about me and my family, you didn’t hear me the first time so maybe we will test your pocket in court as you like to question mine… See you soon love.”

He finally concluded, “There is a [difference] between spilling fun tea and spreading lies and making heavy accusations. This girl needs to stop. It is not cool.”

Andy Cohen Admits Blacking Out During New Year’s Eve Broadcast

Andy Cohen had a New Year’s Eve for the ages! The Watch What Happens Live host equally surprised and entertained viewers as he rung in the 2022 New Year on his CNN Special. Co-host and good pal Anderson Cooper couldn’t even reel him in during the show, aptly titled, Live From Times Square: New Year’s Eve with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen.

Andy quickly took to Twitter once the show was done and tweeted, “Guys- I had a ball tonight! Happy New Year!” The next morning, he remained jovial and admitted he had been “a bit over served” during the special. Apparently by that point, Andy didn’t even remember the full extent of what happened.

As reported by Us Weekly, Andy made a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and explained what happened after reality set in. Andy said, “[Anderson and I] got in the car after [the CNN special] and I saw on Twitter the rant I did about [Mayor Bill] de Blasio.”

He added, “And I did not recall — though it was about 40 minutes earlier — saying, ‘Sayonara, sucka’ to the outgoing mayor of New York.” Andy recalled that Anderson had to break the news to him that it actually happened. He admitted,  “I go,’ Oh, my God I said, ‘Sayonara, sucka.’ And he said, ‘Yes, you did!’”

His feelings on former Mayor de Blasio’s actions while watching Eric Adams be sworn in as the new mayor clearly had an affect on Andy. He ranted during the live broadcast, “[I’ve been] watching Mayor de Blasio do his ‘victory lap’ dance after four years of the crappiest job as the mayor of New York. The only thing that the Democrats and the Republicans can agree on is what a horrible mayor he has been, so sayonara, sucka!”

Despite not remembering what happened, Andy gushed that he and Anderson “had a blast” that night. Said Andy, “It is super fun getting drunk on CNN and just raging on a soapbox. There were endorphins that I was releasing. I was like, ‘This is good!’” Some viewers disagreed and expressed disapproval over Andy’s behavior. But Andy refused to apologize.

In a previous interview, he maintained, “Listen, I will not be shamed for having fun on New Year’s Eve. That’s why I’m there. That’s why they bring me there.”

Celebrity Big Brother 3 Episode 7 Recap: Power of Veto & Live Eviction

Tonight on Celebrity Big Brother 3, the third Power of Veto competition will be held and the third live eviction will take place. Meisha Tate won her second Head of Household competition in just a short period of time. Her target has been the same for 2 rounds now, and things look to remain the same.

As expected, Meisha nominated Carson Kressley and Cynthia Bailey for eviction. She decided the power duo needed to be put on notice rather than try and backdoor either target. Now, they must win the Power of Veto or rely on another Big Brother celebrity houseguest to save their game and take them off the block.

Block Nomination Aftermath

Neither Carson nor Cynthia was surprised by Meisha’s nominations. They both were very well aware that Meisha sees both of them as a threat in the Big Brother game.

Todrick Hall is thrilled with the nominations because he thinks Carson is his biggest threat in the game. He is Meisha’s, right-hand man. Chris Kirkpatrick, on the other hand, is not so pleased with the current nominations.

Chris and Shanna Moakler have been aligned together and playing the middle of the Big Brother house. They are worried about their game if Carson is evicted. He’s a big target, and if he is gone, they fear they will become the next big targets in the Celebrity Big Brother 3 house.

Todrick is worried about his relationship with Cynthia being that they are no longer in an alliance together. He wanted to make sure they were still good. He pulled her aside to let her know he has her back.

Shanna fears that if Carson or Cynthia wins the POV, she will become the target. A backdoor is what she is most afraid of this week. Chris Kirkpatrick has the same fears, but he also feels he has a good relationship with Meisha.

Unexpected Loss of a Celebrity

Chris Kattan is horribly homesick and considering his options for leaving the game.

Out of the blue, Meisha called the houseguests together and announced that Chris has left the game and will not be returning.

His fellow houseguests were concerned about his mental well-being, more than anything. Chris left a recorded video message saying goodbye to everyone. All of the celebrities will miss Kattan very much and hope to get in touch outside the Big Brother house.

Round Three Power of Veto Competition

The six participants in this POV competition will be Meisha, Carson, Cynthia, Shanna, Lamar Odom, and Todrick. This POV is called Reindeer Riders, and here is how it works. Each player must ride their reindeer for 20 revolutions to earn 90 seconds of time.

They must use this 90 seconds of time to stack snowflakes on a pedestal. Before their time runs out, they must return to their reindeer and earn another 90 seconds. If their clock reaches zero, they are eliminated from the competition.

Lamar is the first Big Brother celebrity houseguest to time out of the game and must have a seat. He is now watching from the sidelines.

Meisha is the next player to time out of the competition. She is out of the running for this golden power of veto. Cynthia falls next.

Shanna hit the buzzer and locked in with 22 snowflakes. She felt she had enough built on her pedestal to beat Carson and Todrick. They are still going strong trying to try and beat Shanna’s score.

Both Carson and Todrick timed out and Shanna won the golden power of veto this round. This is her second POV win.

She must now decide if she will use the power to take Carson or Cynthia off the block, or if she will ride the Meisha train and keep the nominations the same.

Heather Gay Calls Out Mary Cosby For “Horrible Slurs” And “Degrading” Comments; Mary Says “I Don’t Remember Saying That”

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast trip to Zion will go down in Housewives history for the furious feuding and sisterly bonding happening all at the same time. Mary Cosby has been clinging to her new bestie, Meredith Marks, while firing shots at the rest of her RHOSLC co-stars.

Mary made several racially insensitive comments this season. She likened Jen Shah to a “Mexican thug” who “[makes] all those drugs.” She also commented on Jennie Nguyen’s “slanted eyes.”

Mary was accused of running her church like a cult. Mary, who felt like God called her to join RHOSLC, denied the claims. Mary also referred to co-star Heather Gay as “chubby.” Body-shaming is never acceptable, people.

During the Cinco de Mayo dinner in Zion, all hell broke loose. Mary reminded Heather that the trip was a gift from the husbands, and that she doesn’t have one. Heather responded by remarking that Mary married her step-grandfather. Damn!

According to RealityBlurb!, Heather bashed Mary for her “degrading” comments and “horrible slurs” during the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City After Show. “Mary has lobbied that at me a lot. She says, ‘You look like a man, that’s why you don’t have a man.’ And ‘You don’t even have a husband, why are you even here? This is a Housewives show and you can’t be a wife without a man,’” Heather explained. “And I’m like, ‘Well you *** your step-granddaddy. So, I’m not quite sure how that all works out… but she feels fine lobbying those horrible slurs at me,” Heather said.

When the comment was mentioned to Mary, she was struck by a case of amnesia. “I don’t remember saying that,” she said. Shocking.

Mary explained that she only mentioned Heather’s marital status because Heather said that Jennie’s husband had paid for the trip. Mary was trying to “enlighten Heather on her words.” Mary continued, “I was like, ‘Oh, so you don’t have one, so that means you don’t deserve to be here?’” Mary insisted that her words “had to be provoked from somewhere.”

Meanwhile, Jen chimed in on Mary’s comments. “That’s messed up. Heather is sensitive to the fact that she’s gone through a divorce, and she knows very well that she’s the only one in the group that doesn’t have a husband… It was just a mean thing to say,” Jen remarked.

“The fact that I’m here without a husband is credit to me. The fact that I show up at all of these events alone is credit to me,” Heather said. “The fact that I fight all of these battles without going home to someone who wants to listen to me, support me, pay my goddamn bills, that is a credit to me, and if you want to weaponize that and use it against me, you are not just degrading me.”

She added, “You are degrading every single woman and single mother out there that is doing everything they can for their kids and that I won’t stand for.” Good for you, Heather!

Heather said that she won’t speak to Mary “until she apologizes.” Mary is still pissed about Heather commenting on her marriage. “That doesn’t bother me. It’s my life. We’ve been married 24 years,” Mary said. In a message directed at Heather, Mary commented, “At least I landed someone. We’re probably the same age and you’re still looking for a husband.” Yikes!

“When she can tell me what [I] did to [her], maybe I’ll listen to Heather. Other than that, put her on mute,” Mary added. Mary somehow doesn’t understand the way that she treats people. “I don’t treat people in a disrespectful way because I don’t want to be disrespected,” Mary stated. Are we watching the same show, Mary?

“Why don’t she take that same energy and put it towards Jen when Jen calls her these names,” Mary remarked. “I mean, she’s calling her manatee, she’s calling her Shrek.” Jen did allegedly say those things about Heather and the screenshot was shared by realityvontease2. But Heather put that in her rear view.

There will be a lot of unanswered questions since Mary decided to skip out on the reunion. A source alleged that Mary “was terrified of getting grilled about her ‘racist’ comments made toward Jennie [Nguyen] and Jen [Shah]. She also did not want to discuss the accusations that she runs a cult.”

Jackie Goldschneider Hopes Teresa Giudice’s Fiancé Luis Ruelas Can “Have Fun With” The Rumors About Him

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice may have found love love love with her new man, Luis “Louie” Ruelas, but that hasn’t stopped the whispers about him. Vanessa Reiser, Louie’s ex-fiancée, claimed in a lawsuit that Louie “demanded that I be available for sex whenever he wanted” and that if she did not agree to his sexual demands he would “be nasty, withdraw from me, and blame me for what happened.” The lawsuit was “settled outside of court for undisclosed terms.”

Teresa’s RHONJ co-star Margaret Josephs has apparently been vocal in her criticism of Teresa’s “soulmate.” Margaret reportedly called Louie a “sex addict.” Margaret and Teresa are going to war this season over her comments about Louie, and it is going to get ugly.

During the Season 12 premiere, the RHONJ cast was gossiping about a video of Louie. In the video, Louie was on a beach, surrounded by men with no shirts on, as he pleaded for forgiveness from an ex-girlfriend. That was weird and totally creepy. At her pool party, Teresa deflected any comments about the video. Louie looked nervous and extremely uncomfortable at the get-together.

Last season on RHONJ, Teresa spread a rumor that Jackie Goldschneider’s husband, Evan Goldschneider, was cheating on her at the gym. Then Jackie hit Teresa with an analogy. She told Teresa that she heard that Teresa’s daughter, Gia Giudice, was using cocaine in the bathroom during parties. Oof.

Jackie is enjoying the fact that now Louie is the target of the rumor mill. “I feel like karma kind of came right in and did a little work,” Jackie commented.

In an interview with Page Six, Jackie discussed Louie and the swarm of rumors surrounding him. “There’s an awful lot of rumors and they just keep on coming. That kind of drama just doesn’t go away,” Jackie stated. “There’s no end to it.”

The former attorney added, “There’s a pretty epic scene [this season] where he does answer some questions. But I don’t want to spoil anything, so I will not tell you how it turned out.” I hope Louie explains what that disturbing beach video was all about.

“I hope that he can take it in stride and, you know, kind of have fun with it, if possible,” Jackie remarked. We all know that is exactly what Jackie did when she broke down and almost quit the show because of the cheating rumors.

“It’s never fun being the one in the hot seat, and I’m not sure that Luis knows what he signed up for yet. Because it’s really difficult enough to film it, but watching it back is, I think, even harder,” Jackie stated.

In October of 2021, Louie popped the question in an elaborate and beautiful proposal in Porto, Heli, Greece. I was shocked when Teresa told host Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live that she wasn’t planning on signing a prenup with Louie. Wow.

Teresa and Louie have started planning their nuptials, which will take place in either Capri, Italy or New Jersey. And Teresa isn’t about to let any haters pop her love bubble with Louie. “Anybody that’s negative, just please leave us alone. Because first of all, they’re never going to destroy our happiness, just leave it at that,” Teresa said.

Married At First Sight Recap: – Dark Side of the Honeymoon

This episode of Married At First Sight did not disappoint! The couples are just a step away from going back to their realities. If there was this much drama during the honeymoon, I can’t wait to see what happens when they officially move in together.  We have seen in the past how a seemingly happy match can go downhill once they get back to their regular routines. Although I think there are a few who will be able to weather the storm, there are couples that are definitely questionable. Who else is excited to see how this all pans out?

The honeymoon in Puerto Rico continues as the five couples try to enjoy the sun, sand, and their still-unfamiliar spouses. But trouble brews in paradise as some newlyweds struggle to forge a connection before their return to Boston. Whose connection is strong enough to make it through the living together phase? Let’s get straight into the recap!

Noi and Steve

Noi and Steve are still enjoying each other’s company during their honeymoon. Although they have great chemistry, he is still wants to open up his wife up to new adventures. While exploring, he actually gets her to trust him enough to teach her how to swim. Just as they are making some headway, the moment is ruined when a fish starts biting his foot. I fully expected Noi to run screaming out of the water, but instead she continues to enjoy time with her man. Aww… these two are too cute. Maybe she will even start to enjoy spontaneous adventures like her husband, in time.

Alyssa and Chris

Alyssa agrees to play tennis with Chris after the experts have to remind her that she agreed to participate in their process. You guys already know how I feel about this woman. It makes me sad to see Chris trying so hard, only to be rejected by a person who acts repulsed by him. I don’t fault her for not being attracted to him, but to be so unkind is not okay. After their game, things go downhill very quickly. Chris asks about her intentions after the honeymoon and she shuts that conversation down quickly. Alyssa “isn’t comfortable” living in the same apartment. But get this… she still wants to move into the same building to hang out with the ladies. Excuse me! For some reason, the producers have to explain she is not on the show to hang out with the other participants. She then tries to paint Chris as aggressive because he isn’t agreeing to isolate himself; while she continues the journey independent of him. Sigh! You have to be kidding me.

Chris calls his sister to vent about the state of his marriage. Meanwhile, Alyssa is outside shouting about how she is a “good” person to producers.  Last time I checked good people don’t have to tell you that about themselves. Chris has literally done nothing but try to work through their issues. She admits her mom is upset that she is not being nice to her new husband. Lifetime should be ashamed! How many times have the viewers witnessed abusive behavior from one cast member to their spouse without them stepping in? Instead of them just cutting ties, they are trying to convince her to interact with Chris. Why encourage her continue to create this toxic environment?

Chris meets with Lindsey and Mark to vent. He explains his confusion about where the breakdown of their marriage has started. Lindsey believes that she was disappointed that he didn’t immediately meet her expectations. Even Mark is shocked about how well he is handling the situation.  Chris has decided to remain open to his marriage until told otherwise. Personally, I would be completely done with her at this point.

Meanwhile Alyssa speaks with some of the ladies to do some damage control. She claims that his friends and family told her things at the wedding that were concerning. Katina suggests she judge him by her interactions and not what others have said. I agree, but we all know that is not the issue. Alyssa even admits when pressed that she isn’t attracted to Chris and the experts didn’t give her what she asked for. Does this woman think this is burger king and she can have it her way? She should have just stuck to Tinder.

Things get very awkward during a group dinner when Noi asks Chris and Alyssa do they plan to move in together. Alyssa pretends they have never spoken about the topic. She then suggests they both live in the apartment separately for a period of time. Chris is shocked and lets her know he isn’t interested in sharing the couples like divorced parents. Obviously, he wants to have the married experience like everyone else. Did Alyssa think she was signing up for Summer House and not Married At First Sight? Seriously, what the hell is going on in her mind? She then resorts to whining, crying and shifting the blame to distract from the real issue.  Everybody at that table knows that she is full of shit. After the dinner, she continues to gaslight Chris to avoid giving him any answers. Insert eye roll emoji.

Katina and Olajuwon

Katina is finally beginning to realize just how intense her husband can be when he is doing something. While out horseback riding, once again Olajuwon gets pushy with her. This behavior can no longer be seen as an isolated incident when it’s very reminiscent of his actions during their workout session. Although she does express her concerns about the situation, I don’t think he is going to change anytime soon. The best apology is changed behavior. She has to be extremely patient because I probably would have snapped if he spoke to me like that.

After the tense group dinner, Olajuwon has some great insights about Alyssa and Chris’ relationship. He feels like Chris has been sacrificing and putting his feelings on the line, just to make his wife happy. In his mind, those are the characteristics of a great spouse. I fully agree. If she would stop focusing on his looks and see his effort, she could have a great man.

 

Lindsey and Mark

Despite Lindsey and Mark making up after their fight, things still aren’t going as planned. Apparently, his landlord and “mother figure” has been stressing him out with incessant emergency calls. She has even threatened to evict him and even sent a new lease to sign during his honeymoon. On top of all of that, he has a bed bug infestation. Lindsey plays her role as wife and attempts to help him as much as possible. She is better than me; I wouldn’t want her to bring any of his stuff from that apartment to the new place. In fact, I find it strange that it’s coming up while he is away. Wouldn’t he have already known about this issue, before he got married? I’m not exactly sure what is going on, but I don’t think we are getting the full story.

 

Jasmina and Michael

Jasmina and Michael attempt to enjoy what is left of their vacation. During the honeymoon, they have had their share of communication issues.  But after some bumps along the way, they are trying to move forward. Michael acknowledges that he has to learn how to convey messages to his wife in a better way. First, they need to realize they are both on the same side.
