Real Housewives Of Atlanta Season 13 Trailer Released: Relationship Drama, Stripper Drama, And Race Discussions

Real Housewives of Atlanta is down one OG, but one thing is for sure, Season 13 is insane. Filming through a summer filled with a pandemic, fighting for racial equality, and planning Cynthia Bailey’s wedding, the ladies are back and very ready to party.

Viewers will meet two new cast members. Drew Sidora is joining the group full time and Latoya Ali will show up as a friend. Tanya Sam and Marlo Hampton, with her eternally empty hands, will appear part time as well. If a worldwide health crisis and extensive racial unrest weren’t big enough issues to address, we will also dive deep into the rabbit hole of STRIPPERGATE. Judging from the trailer and someone’s questionably placed ankles, this particular rabbit hole will be long, dark, and have dollar bills in his g-string.

Let’s just get right into it. People shared the Season 13 clip for RHOA and there is a lot to unpack. Might need to watch this wearing a hazmat suit and have some bleach at the ready. As Porsha Williams warns us, “Have your mask and your wig on tight, boo…” Porsha also offers us a new Pinterest inspirational quote with, “I will quarantine a bitch.”

The video leads straight into debauchery. Sex toys, half-dressed men, SWINGS! It’s like watching Kandi Burruss’ inner monologue. If it left Marlo with an astonished look, we are in for it. The scene of the crime (in at least 3 states) is Cynthia’s bachelorette party. Social distancing was not on the game list. “Turn off the cameras and we can actually have fun,” says one anonymous voice.

Fans are offered a look at Drew. She “brings the flavor to Atlanta” and seems to be the type that wishes a trick would. Drew offers some helpful advice in one scene by stating, “I’m from Chicago, bitch, don’t f*ck with me.” Noted. Drew will navigate some marital issues with her husband, who was almost her ex-husband. We learn her man disappeared for three days where I’m sure nothing salacious took place. When Drew questions his whereabouts, he replies he was “always accessible”. This won’t end well for him.

Ah Cynthia’s wedding. What can you say about planning a huge event amid a virulent health crisis? Cynthia doesn’t care. “I just wanna marry my man and if that looks like everyone turning up in astronaut suits…so be it.” Her selflessness and compassion for others is overwhelming. But her path to the altar was impeded by many barriers, almost as if the universe was trying to send a message… Like you know, don’t get married during a fucking pandemic.

Kandi is still battling Riley Burruss’ dad for child support. Riley is 18 now, so is it 2016 in Kandi Kountry? Has Kandi gone full circle back to Season 2? Mama Joyce blesses our screens by labeling Riley’s dad a “hood rat” and pointing out he hasn’t paid support in ten years. I guess Kandi isn’t opening any businesses this year.

We visit Porsha’s remarkable transition into activist. Like most southern towns, Atlanta was at the forefront of the Black Lives Matter movement. Porsha was among the many protestors at a Breonna Taylor gathering, she marched for George Floyd, and she attempts to engage others to join her in the battle against racism.

Kenya Moore is living her best life now that NeNe Leakes is officially gone. After a turbulent union with Marc Daly, Kenya says she “got her groove back”. Marc filed for divorce and went the super macho route by requesting alimony. Kenya is still suffering from NoOneLikesMeitis as she finds herself not invited to a function, and productions feigns ignorance at the slight. Relationship woes continue as Porsha seems to finally acknowledge Dennis McKinley is more of a frog than a hot dog king.

Strippergate descends upon us! Grab your prayer hankies and prepare the fainting couches. There are asses. There are tongues. There are things we shouldn’t see before having dinner. Speaking of dinner, Kenya claims to have heard “sex noises” coming from a bedroom as the ladies enjoy a fun-filled meal. Tanya Sam’s eyeballs are on full alert as LaToya claims “it wasn’t a sex party”. Uh-huh. An unseen female voice says, “she can f*ck really good”. It seems the concerns for both COVID and chlamydia went out the door at this time.

As Porsha and Tanya try to deflect fingers and penises pointed in their direction, Kandi’s haunting voice says, “what happens in the dungeon, stays in the dungeon”. Until the buzz wears off and you remember there are multiple cameras, microphones, crew, and an audience of people getting ready to dissect each and every moment of what was captured on film. Season 13 will begin on December 6. Happy holidays to us!

Married At First Sight Season 11 Reunion Recap

Season 11 just wrapped and luckily for us we didn’t have to wait long for an update. This cast has had its fair share of drama with their stranger spouses, especially during a pandemic. Let’s see what happened when the cameras left and people are forced to get real. Given the previews, we are in for some juicy details.

The Married At First Sight reunion gives us the behind-the-scenes drama and some emotional updates. Woody has been hiding something from Amani. Henry gives more details about the accusations Christina made during Textgate. Miles shares his feelings about his experience with Karen. Let’s get straight to the recap!

Olivia & Brett

Well, not much has changed with Olivia and Brett. She still hates him and he is still a douche. But they do agree on one thing, they weren’t a good match. Honestly, it seemed like once Brett discovered Olivia made significantly more money than him, he was no longer interested. According to him, he thinks she was only looking for a husband as an accessory. It didn’t take him long to move on from his estranged wife.

Apparently, he couldn’t wait to get back on his dating apps. So much so, he has been matched with several of Olivia’s friends. She doesn’t understand how he has so much money to serial date, but blasted her for wanting to go on a vacation or out to eat. To be fair, Olivia you need to stop following his movements, it’s none of your business. Just thank your lucky stars you didn’t waste more time with him.

 

Amani & Woody

Season favorites, Woody and Amani are still married! She even intends to officially take his last name the office reopens. Things get even sweeter when Woody presents wife with a brand new wedding ring. He gets emotional as he shares he wants her to have something from him, not from the show. Aww, these two are too cute! Their journey has truly been beautiful to watch.

Amelia & Bennett

Amelia and Bennett are still happily married. When we last saw Bennett, he was showing us his new tattoo of his wife’s initials. No better way to show you’re in it for the long haul, than to brand your spouse’s name on your ass. Things have been pretty busy, now that they have officially moved to Virginia. Bennett even has a new career he loves as a solar consultant. True to form, these two couldn’t leave the reunion without their usual quirky antics. Their segment ends with them singing an original song to the host. Neither has a future in music, but I definitely got a good laugh out of it.

 

Christina and Henry

Christina and Henry have been one of the most controversial couples this season. During the finale, they both chose to end their marriage. After begging for Henry’s attention almost every episode, she now claims she didn’t really want it. Insert side eye here. Girllll… He explains he didn’t want to lead her on, so he never initiated any type of intimacy. He confesses that he had concerns early on.

At the wedding, he found out she had recently gotten out of a toxic five year relationship with a married man. Christina is still trying to convince us with her fake tears that she didn’t try to blackmail Henry with Textgate. It is revealed that she even told cast members that she thought he was gay. It was clear to me the entire situation was made up from the moment it was revealed. It’s really sad, that someone would stoop that low to seek revenge on innocent person. Since filming, Christina is lying about casually dating someone, while Henry remains a bachelor.

Karen & Miles

Sigh! When the host asked Karen if she was  regretful about being so closed off towards Miles, she said no. Huh? Instead of Married At First Sight, she should have signed up for Iyanla, Fix My Life. I believe she is suspicious of men, based on past bad experiences. She is lucky she met a patient man. Most guys would have given up on her by now. But there is a silver lining to this story, they are still married. I’m shocked! In case anyone is wondering, Miles says his needs are now being met! In a funny twist, their new home is on the same block as Woody and Amani’s.

90 Day Fiance Stars Darcey Silva And Stacey Silva Are Getting HCG Injections To Lose Weight

The name Darcey Silva became synonymous with drunken sobbing, highly impractical outfits, and demands for a marriage proposal.  It was outrageous to watch most of the time, but the persona kept Darcey on 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days for three seasons.  She even got a spinoff on TLC costarring her twin sister Stacey Silva.

It was during the season finale of Darcey and Stacey that Darcey finally got her proposal.  After two failed relationships, a promise band, and an honorary house key, someone gave Darcey a proper ring.  And that special someone was Bulgarian fiance Georgi Rusev, who surprised Darcey with a proposal in June.

During filming for the season, Georgi revealed his marital status.  He had just begun divorce proceedings from his estranged wife at the time.  The process is ongoing, so Darcey will have to wait to walk down the aisle.  But that doesn’t mean she can’t start planning ahead.

Will the wedding be filmed for TLC?  You bet it will.  Will Darcey want to look her best for the cameras?  You bet she will.  That’s why Darcey is taking an extreme route to lose weight for her big day.  Newlywed sister Stacey is joining her on the regime.

Soapdirt reported that Darcey and Stacey are currently on a low calorie diet.  They are also on a HCG program for weight loss.  HCG involves injections of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) for a 45 day period.

The unconventional method seems to be working for Darcey.  She supposedly already lost five pounds.

Darcey estimates that Georgi’s divorce will take a few more months to settle, so the couple are planning to wed sometime next year.  Darcey revealed that it will be a beach destination, though a definite location hasn’t been chosen yet.

The wedding, whenever it happens, will be another marketing opportunity for the twins’ clothing line House of Eleven, should the bride decide to wear one of her designs for the event.

Southern Charm Season 7 Premiere Recap

After what seems like the longest hiatus ever, Southern Charm is FINALLY back. Kathryn Dennis, Craig Conover, Shep Rose, Madison LeCroy, and Austen Kroll are all returning. However, Cameran Eubanks, Naomie Olindo, and Chelsea Meissner will NOT be featured this season. It’s sad to see them go, but it’s an exciting new direction for the series. Leva Bonaparte & John Pringle are joining as series regulars!

It’s going to be so interesting to see the extent that the pandemic impacts the season. From the looks of things, it affects everyone on the cast in some capacity. This is going to be good! The way all of these shows have been forced to change things because of the virus has been fascinating. Seeing why Cameran exited the show right as it began filming the new season. Something nasty went down, and we need to get to the bottom of it!

Austen’s new house is quaint, but I cannot handle his and Craig’s weird bathrobes. What even are those? Did Craig make them? Martha Stewart you are not bud.

There was a broken pipe at Craig’s house that blasted asbestos everywhere. THAT REALLY SUCKS. Hopefully he doesn’t end up with mesothelioma or something. For now, he’s staying with Austen. How cute?

One thing that’s going well for Craig is his business. It’s blowing up more than ever with pop up shops and more. Finally! After all of the years of being doubted, he’s finally slaying. I wish he ditched the lawyer idea and pursued this a lot sooner. It would’ve saved him a lot of drama and headaches.

Austen and Madison are back in a good place after all the drama from last year. We’ll see if it can stay like that. History hasn’t exactly been kind to this pair. I want to want them to succeed, but I think going their separate ways is best.

After three years, Kathryn and Thomas Ravenel have split custody. FINALLY. No more drama between these two. What a dysfunctional mess they have always been. It’s weird to see Thomas back on the show in some capacity. It’s even weirder to see Kathryn living with them. I CAN’T DEAL WITH THAT.

Literally WHAT THE F**K is Kathryn thinking? It’s great they can be in a good place for the children, but they’re so toxic. They don’t work. Please do not go back down this route and pursue a relationship with him. ALSO SHOUTOUT TO THE SCREENSHOT OF A REALITY TEA ARTICLE ON THE SHOW! Love that for us.

Kathryn and Thomas discuss wanting to make sure the children know this isn’t forever. I’m glad they are setting boundaries like that. The last thing they need to do is get the hopes up of these poor kids who have already been through the wringer. Enough is enough.

Madison is seriously such a great mom. It’s cute watching Hudson try to emulate his mother. He’s just as into his appearance as she is. It must be hard though to be as young as she is and being a single mom. Not even just the age thing. Juggling a career with a small child is a lot to take on. She’s doing a phenomenal job though.

At least Madison is aware that everyone thinks she’s nuts to be back with Austen. They’re right. She needs to listen to them and see the red flags for what they are and get out of this. Period.

Patricia Altschul’s new dog Peaches is the cutest thing I have EVER seen. I’m obsessed with it. It’s super tiny, but I’m here for it regardless. Shep invites her to an event he’s having, and she accepts immediately. Any event featuring Patricia is immediately bumped up in status and prestige.

The theme of Shep’s party is about life being good (dumb and dumber actually). Naturally Patricia asks who will be invited to the party. We know that Patricia isn’t afraid to speak her mind about everyone at all times. It’s shocking to hear that Shep will be inviting Madison despite their previous drama. Not even just Madison. His anger has been unwarranted and misplaced toward everyone in recent years.

Shep tries to be deep and introspective, but at the end of the day he’s just an entitled man-child. He’s certainly not fooling me. Eventually you have to grow up and act like an adult. His Peter Pan persona got old about three seasons ago.

Craig grabs drinks with Kathryn, and I’m a little surprised to see her drinking. I know she didn’t go to rehab for alcohol, but STILL. She says it’s nobody else’s business, but you’re on a reality show. You’ve made it the world’s business. People are going to comment about you. You have a history of “influenced” behavior.

Shep is in a better place with his girlfriend Taylor, so Craig is willing to give him another chance. I wouldn’t’ if I was Craig. For six seasons, Craig has been treated like trash by him. He looks down on Craig and constantly makes fun of him.

Things get uncomfortable when Kathryn tells Craig she head Cameran’s husband Jason Wimberly is having an affair. That might explain why she chose to quit the show so close to production. Craig swears there is no truth to this, but the proof might be in the pudding. Why randomly exit the show like that? Something isn’t right with that.

I can’t believe Shep of all people is in a lasting committed relationship. It looks good on him. Hopefully she can do whatever she can to ground him. He can be so snobby and such an assh**e. We need less of that moving forward.

Madison has no nerves heading into Shep’s party. She says she can forgive Shep for calling her white trash, but time will tell if that holds true. He has a way of bringing out the worst in people. I know I would be holding a grudge if someone repeatedly referred to me as white trash. That’s not acceptable behavior.

Craig is unable to stop from gossiping so he fills in Leva about Kathryn’s story about Cameran’s husband. She does not take to the news well at all. I get why she’s angry though. Kathryn has no proof whatsoever about this claim, but she threw it out there anyway. That’s the type of rumor that can ruin someone’s life. She threw it out there like it was nothing.

Leva thinks either there is jealousy or resentment from Kathryn that led to this. Kathryn does thrive on drama, so it’s not too farfetched to think she maliciously made this up. She’s been a storm of chaos since her first scene on the show. She’s a dark cloud of misery at times, so it’s probably something she created to spark some drama.

Things are going smoothly between Shep and Madison so far at the party. Let’s see how long that lasts. Shep inviting Peter and Liz was such an unnecessary drama causing move. How is he going to invite them while also trying to make peace with Madison? This is just further proof that the new Shep is the same as the old Shep. He hasn’t changed one bit.

Patricia is so bitter that there is no food at Shep’s party, and I feel that. I wouldn’t want to be dealing with that either. I also love how she’s super messy trying to hook up Madison with new cast member John. They have kids that are the same age, so maybe they’d be a good fit. Anything is better than continuing with the Austen saga.

Cameran texts Kathryn about the rumors she’s spreading, and her issue is it being said on camera. To Leva’s point, it appears that Kathryn really is doing this out of spite for their combative past. She’s clearly harboring anger toward Cameran, so it shouldn’t be a shock that Cameran dipped out of the show.

Real Housewives Of Orange County Recap: Who’s The Real Sloppy Chihuahua?

Welcome back to week three of The Real Housewives of Orange County! Now before we go down the rabbit hole to discuss Shannon Beador‘s revamped food line, Kelly Dodd‘s latest tone deaf behavior or whatever hair nightmare Gina Kirschenheiter will inflict upon us this week, I realize I failed to analyze one very important element of any new Housewives season last week: taglines! Since I started with episode 2, I didn’t think much about it. But in retrospect, Bravo supplanted the taglines in the reveal with Jeana Keough‘s epic Desperate Housewives-inspired intro. So let’s dive into the Season 15 taglines shall we?

For starters, they’re pretty atrocious. I mean, right? Like, all together they might be the weakest batch in RHOC history. Possibly in all of Housewives history. And that’s saying something for a show that started out with Vicki Gunvalson crying, “I don’t wanna get old” way back in Season 1. Kelly telling viewers not to judge her? After everything she’s been doing and saying in the wake of a global pandemic? That’s rich. (And don’t even get me started on that “Drunk Wives Matter” moment.) Braunwyn Windham-Burke‘s makes more sense in the context of her alcoholism than it did before the season premiered, while Shannnon‘s “closed Beador” probably would’ve been more effective if she’d used it back in Season 13 right after her split.

As for the others? Gina‘s mixed metaphor in defense of her tiny home? Laughable. Emily Simpson‘s body-positive embrace of her curves? We love to see it, but production did her dirty by inserting her shouting “new hip!” into the middle of the sound byte. Newbie Elizabeth Lyn Vargas‘ declaration of “I made my money the old-fashioned way: marrying it, then making more,” is actually the best of the bunch — if only funny in its blatant ownership of her gold-digging start. But all in all, this season’s intro is almost tragically sad. And I’m not sure I can put up with hearing it for the next 10 weeks.

This week’s episode revolves around the lead-up to Shannon‘s housewarming party. But honestly, not much happens other than a whole lot of filler for the first 30 minutes. Elizabeth reveals during dinner with Kelly and Gina that she’s under a very strict gag order about her divorce. Which means we won’t be hearing much about her billionaire ex-husband, Bernt Bodal, on camera this season. What we’ll hear about instead is her sex-free relationship with boyfriend Jimmy Juarez. Which, really, the less said about the better, but the rookie won’t even confirm how long they’ve been together. Apparently because of said gag order? It’s all bizarre and something tells me it will still be confusing come reunion time…

Instead, let’s talk about Gina‘s brewing issues with Braunwyn and Shannon. Ever since hearing through the grapevine that she was disparaging her not-casita as “sad and depressing,” Gina’s starting to question Shannon’s friendship. Were all of last season’s trips to Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive shopping sprees just for show? Either way, Gina’s feelings are hurt and the relationship is on its way to being more damaged than the hair she’s trying to hide with her bad extensions. She also cheers to 2020 being better than 2019, and all I can do is maniacally laugh at the naïveté of it all. Oh what an innocent time we were all having back in February.

Meanwhile, Braunwyn continues to do all the heavy lifting in terms of storyline this season. On a visit with Shannon to the famed Dr. Moon, the sophomore ‘Wife admits she threw her pal under the bus by repeating the comments she made about Gina‘s condo to Emily. Which then, of course, made their way back to Gina. Shannon denies — and is visibly displeased at — this information, and jumps on Braunwyn to correct the record the next time the ‘Wives are all together. However, via confessional, Braunwyn claims that the conversation happened off-camera while Shannon had been drinking. And furthermore, the vet added the caveat that she would “deny it till the end” if the comments came up on camera. Uh oh…looks like we’ve got a serious case of she said/she said brewing in the OC.

The day of Shannon‘s party finally arrives. And rather than hiring a real catering company the way, say, Heather Dubrow would’ve five seasons ago, she’s forced her daughters and boyfriend John Janssen‘s kids into leggings emblazoned with lemons to pass around trays of Real for Real Cuisine. Gina arrives first. And she even brings boyfriend Travis Mullen along, who correctly and casually drops another Desperate Housewives reference in regard to Shannon, Kelly and Braunwyn all living right next to each other in the swankiest suburbia of the OC. (Are the Porch Streets of Newport Beach the new Wisteria Lane? You know Shannon thinks she’s totally this group’s Susan Mayer now.)

Before everyone else arrives, Gina confronts Shannon for allegedly dissing her new house. And just like she said she would, Shannon deny, deny, denies. The words “sad and depressing” aren’t even in her vocabulary! OK?! Instead, she’s placing the blame squarely on Braunwyn for putting words in her mouth. And Gina chooses to believe her. Which honestly makes sense since she spent two seasons openly craving Shannon’s approval and literally loathes the newer ‘Wife. And now Shannon is seeing red and also reveals that, out of all the ‘Wives, Gina’s the only one who owns her hope, however tiny it may be.

When Braunwyn arrives, she’s immediately triggered by all the alcohol at the party, and retreats to the bathroom in tears. Considering she’s only told Emily and Shannon about her sobriety, the rest of the women are just confused and see the outburst as typical Braunwyn dramatics. Shannon then pulls Braunwyn aside to unleash her anger. And while the latter promised she’d say she got confused over the alleged comments, now she doubles down and refuses to walk the gossip back. Instead she insists Sean Burke heard Shannon’s comments too, which sends Shannon into a rage. The argument escalates to a back-and-forth about who remembers what, with Braunwyn staking her claim on her sobriety. For the first time, she can trust her memory.

In classic Shannon fashion, she storms away and the argument jumps like a wildfire to Braunwyn vs. Gina. However, as the two start hashing out their long pent-up animosity, you can practically see Shannon vying for the spotlight. As she goes off on Sean, the wheels turning in her head are almost blatantly visible. Finally having the seniority means Shannon isn’t going to let these ‘Wives further down the pecking order take center stage. Except it doesn’t really work. Because, for as loud and hysterical as Shannon can get, Braunwyn and Gina are determined to get louder.

It goes a little something like this. Gina labels Braunwyn‘s campaign against as a “crazy f**king wack attack.” Accusations of money and character get tossed out like grenades. Gina goes on the offensive by calling her nemesis a “sloppy chihuahua” who’s “wasted all the time.” At that point, Braunwyn pulls out what she thinks is her trump card, proudly (and angrily) revealing that she’s 30 days sober. So what ammunition does Gina have on her now?

However, Braunwyn must have borrowed the Tamra Judge playbook. Because when Gina rather rudely questions whether she’s really sober, she proceeds to A. Throw a drink and B. Storm out of the party — in a move reminiscent of both Tammy Sue’s Season 6 wine toss and her Real Housewives of Orange County Season 9 storm-out in Bali. And with that, we’ll have to see what happens in the wake of Braunwyn pulling a “You will never see my face again!”
