Vicki Gunvalson Insists That She Wanted To Move Forward With Tamra Judge & That She Did Not Perpetuate Gay Rumors About Eddie Judge

 

Out of all the Real Housewives, Vicki Gunvalson has been in this franchise the longest. So why does she seem to forget that cameras are recording her and that she has to be accountable for her own words and actions. Does she not watch Real Housewives of Orange County? That’s the only way I could (semi) understand where Vicki is coming from.

Last week Vicki royally screwed up that meetup with Tamra Judge when she told her that Eddie Judge only married her to get a gym and brought up the gay rumors. AGAIN. Outing someone’s alleged sexual preferences should not be a story line, yet it has been many times throughout the Real Housewives franchise.

Vicki’s boyfriend Steve Lodge joined her as the bartender during her latest Watch What Happens Live appearance. Bless this man. He just seems like he’s way too nice for the circus that is reality TV. Andy Cohen asked Steve, “is it love?” Steve shared, “those words have been used.” Vicki was not feeling that answer, even though it was clear that Steve was just nervous to be in the spotlight. She remarked, “He’s stuttering.” Andy defended Steve by pointing out the obvious: “He’s shy.”

When discussing her disastrous conversation with Tamra, Vicki told Andy, “You only saw what you saw.” Well, yeah. That’s how reality TV works. There isn’t enough time to show every single thing that happens. Vicki insisted, “I went in fully vested on making this relationship move forward and not backward and say sorry for anything that I did to be in this place that we are. And that’s the truth.” Really, Vicki? After spreading rumors about Eddie having an affair and saying that he’s using Tamra to open a gym, she’s now claiming that she just came into the situation looking for peace. Yeah, right.

Vicki explained her strain relationships within the cast by saying, “They have to be willing to move forward. It’s not just me. You can’t be in a relationship that the other person doesn’t want to be in.” But they all signed up to be on this show. Aren’t they contractually obligated to interact? If they really want nothing to do with each other then they should just bounce. Seriously though: I would love it if half the cast decided not to return next season.

Andy asked Vicki if Kelly Dodd has filed for divorce- something that is strangely unclear. Vicki started to say, “I think the papers were already filed five years ago” and Andy finished the sentence with “and they’re just going to go through with it.”

Later in the night, Andy told the Real Housewife, “Vicki, I feel like I irritated you at some point in the night.” And then Vicki gave a long-winded answer that was just all over the place: “No. You know what, I’m really sad and bugged and the whole thing over over this whole Tamra and Shannon thing. It’s gotten way over and done. It needs to be put away. It’s just done. They’ve hurt me. I’ve hurt them. We just need to put it away. I’m over it. We are talking about a relationship from three years ago that had been broken up and Shannon right out of the gate wants to talk about it again. She doesn’t know what I know.” Can we just get a redo of Season 12? Or shut it down right now? This is just not fun to watch anymore.

Vicki continued her delusion after a caller asked, “Don’t you think that perpetuating the rumor that Eddie is gay is just as bad as starting it?” Vicki insisted, “I didn’t perpetuate the rumor. When they came on this season, they were the ones chirping about it- not me. I said it to Kelly privately. We’re in this new year now and they’re the ones that keep talking about it.” Just because Vicki spread rumors about Eddie last season, it doesn’t mean that it’s irrelevant. She DID perpetuate the rumors. Not only that, but she also did it this season as well. She invited Tamra’s enemies to film at her birthday party with the intention to gossip about Eddie.  She also did it again during her one-on-one conversation with Tamra.

Vicki said, “I don’t want to talk about it anymore. I’m sorry that I ever mentioned it to Kelly. It’s over. It’s done, but they’re the ones that keep talking about it.” Oh, Vicki. Twelve seasons later, still not any wiser.

Teen Mom 2 Recap – Season 8 Episode 16: Complications

Tonight’s episode of Teen Mom 2 reveals what’s wrong with baby Stella after Briana DeJesus had to rush her to the ER, while a very pregnant Kailyn Lowry ends up in the hospital with her own complications. Chelsea DeBoer moves forward with plans to change Aubree’s last name as well as wedding planning, Leah Messer tries to keep growing tension between the twins at bay on vacation and Jenelle Evans’ relationships with her mom Barb continue to deteriorate.

Kail and the boys are still in St. Thomas on their last family vacation before the baby comes but at 35 weeks, Kail is feeling uncomfortable and notices some unusual swelling in her feet. As the day progresses, her hands and face start to swell, so the producers call a doctor since she’s worried about pre-eclampsia. If she does, that means Kail wouldn’t be able to fly home and she debates on which island she could get to in order to have the baby still be a U.S citizen.

The doctor comes and checks out Kail but once they feel her pulse and assess the swelling, she determines she needs to get to the hospital immediately to determine what’s going on. Kail reveals that up until last week, she was on progesterone shots due to multiple miscarriages. At the hospital, tests are run and thankfully, Kail doesn’t have pre-eclampsia so she’s relieved. When the producer comes in to ask about how she’s doing and if she talked to her baby daddy Chris, she said he hasn’t responded to the text she sent two hours ago and adds that he’s probably with his new girlfriend. I guess they are on the outs again since we see her crying that he might not be there for the delivery in next week’s episode preview.

Aubree is about to start second grade and Chelsea is also meeting with her lawyer the same week to talk about Aubree’s last name change. I feel like we just saw Aubree heading off to first grade and now she’s already a second grader! A few days later after a meeting with her lawyer, Chelsea goes out to lunch with her friend Britanee and tells her about what they would have to do for the name change. Chelsea knows she doesn’t want to take away Aubree’s last name but thinks it’s important for them all to have the same last name in some way and realizes she has never had the same last name as her daughter. Plus, Aubree really wants this. The first step is having Chelsea’s lawyer reach out to Adam Lind’s lawyer to see if he will agree to it but they don’t have much hope with that plan since his own lawyer has a hard time getting a hold of him. If that doesn’t work, they will file a motion and go to court so Chelsea is going to wait to say something to Aubree until she knows more.

Briana is taking Stella home from the ER and well, it’s not the best of news after all the testing that was done. Doctors did an EKG and ultrasound of Stella’s heart and she has three holes in it. Briana has to be on the lookout for symptoms like panting, not being able to finish a bottle because she’s too tired or sweating. The whole family is understandably worried and Briana is just trying to keep it together. If the holes in her heart stay the same and don’t get any bigger, Stella can live a perfectly normal life with them but obviously, there is a lot of danger and worry about any changes, especially since Stella is so tiny. Of course, Luis is nowhere to be found.

A few days later, Stella seems to be doing well but Luis still hasn’t come to see her. His excuse is that he’s starting trucking school and is too busy. Briana calls Shirley and tells her how traumatic the ER experience was and how annoyed she is that Luis hasn’t come to see her after the whole ordeal. He hasn’t even asked any questions about it so Briana feels like he doesn’t even care.

A few weeks have gone by and Luis still hasn’t been by to see Stella but he has a day off from trucking school so he’s coming over. He comes in with a box of diapers and wipes and no smile. Briana hands Stella to Luis to hold and she immediately starts crying but he finally asks how she is doing and what the doctors said. When he mentions he is really busy with school but he can start coming over “sometimes”, Briana tells him how sad it is that he’s in the same state as his daughter and goes weeks without seeing her. Luis responds that he has no excuse or explanation, further frustrating Briana.

When Roxanne comes home, she’s ready to give him a piece of her mind and asks him where he’s been. She wants specifics but he is only giving her one word answers, causing her to get even more annoyed. Roxanne switches gears to asking him why he left in the middle of the night a few weeks ago and he mumbles something about being “over it”. Instead of asking what he means, Roxanne tells him that what he was over was getting checked by her but she’s Stella’s grandmother and she’s not going anywhere. He refuses to play along and respond, leaving Roxanne to escalate in anger, telling him he’s sitting there like a zombie and sniping about what a deadbeat he is. Briana tries to calm things down, saying she doesn’t want this to happen every time he’s over but looks like all that animosity won’t be changing anytime soon.

It’s Jace’s 8th birthday and Barb already had her party for him and Jenelle has another one scheduled this coming weekend. They take him to a water park, where Jenelle presents him with a gift wrapped in a blanket, mentioning she didn’t have time to wrap it. The weekend goes by quickly and when she drives Jace back to meet with Barb for pick up, she tells him how she is taking him to New York the next weekend she has him so they can get her wedding dress. It doesn’t stop there and she asks him if he would like to walk her down the aisle since she doesn’t have a dad to do so. She explains to him – an 8 year old! – that walking her down the aisle is like he’s giving his permission for her to marry David. Jace responds that he will do it, then quickly says he doesn’t want her to marry David. When Jenelle asks why, he says he is joking but his face says anything but and it looks like Jenelle knows it too.

When Jenelle arrives at drop off, she tells Barb about taking him to New York to get her dress and Barb tells her she doesn’t want to talk about the wedding since she’s not invited. Barb changes the subject to his referral to see a psychiatrist and Jenelle sees her chance to be annoyed about something so demands to know who has been prescribing Jace’s meds up until this point. When Barb tells her it’s the pediatrician, Jenelle goes off about how they aren’t equipped to give out mental health meds and if she would have been involved, she wouldn’t have allowed it. It doesn’t sound like he just started meds so I don’t know why she was in the dark and didn’t ask before but we don’t have the details of a timeline so I guess that’s not fair of me. Either way, Jenelle just wants another reason to be mad at Barb but when Barb tries to respond, Jenelle claims that there are “fans” getting worked up in the parking lot watching them. The camera pans over and I’m pretty sure those aren’t fans but rather random looky-loos who want to know what these two crazies are arguing about in a gas station parking lot while a camera crew films them.

Leah took the girls to Florida for a family vacation before school starts again. While the girls play in the pool, Leah notices Ali is starting to get tired and makes her put on a life jacket, causing a meltdown from Ali. She cries that she just wants to be like everyone else and Leah explains to her how everyone has different abilities and she has to do what’s safest and best for her as her mom. Ali says she understands but is still upset. I think Leah handled it really well and it can’t be an easy thing to explain.

Later, they go to Busch Gardens and Leah knows she has to make sure to spend time with all the girls so no one feels left out. She takes Gracie on a ride first while the others busy themselves elsewhere and it looks like Gracie is having a blast spending time with her mom. The rest of the day, they do things as a family, like going on different rides together and feeding the animals at the safari.

Looks like another successful vacation is in the books and next week, its back to reality for all the Teen Moms.

Real Housewives Of Orange County Recap: Mystic Messes

Last night on Real Housewives Of Orange County the little detective that can’t stop, Meghan Edmonds, decided it would be a great idea to host a party with a mystic named Michaela. You don’t need psychic powers to predict that this would go badly! Then to make matters worse they all left for Iceland – cause traveling to the ends of the earth with your enemies always turns out so swell!

What was Meghan hoping to find? Proof that Vicki  Gunvalson never loved Tamra at all? Or perhaps a reading on Peggy Sulahian‘s cancer scans? Or maybe what’s really inside Tamra Judge‘s six-pack core? All she found was a big old mess of Shannon Beador shrieking about David being the most trustworthy man alive while the Mystic watched open-mouthed.

I don’t know what it really had to do with anything, other than evoking the simmering rage inside Shannon, but Peggy asked the question that hit right to the core of Shannon’s potato-chip-craving heart: “Do you trust your husband?” It’s that very question – that niggling feeling Shannon tries to convince herself is fury at Vicki and an almost-constant craving for vodka – that is the very essence of why she has become fueled by salty tears and perceived slights. It’s why Shannon flings plates at restaurants and thinks Glitter-Eyes Lydia is out to kill her with subliminal messages.

I think we all know the answer to Peggy’s question: No, Shannon does not trust her husband. Although I have no idea what  that has to do with Peggy’s cancer? Peggy doesn’t know either because she told Shannon “I don’t know anything…” Oh really? Uh-Huh. Maybe Shannon and Vicki could just get a 2-for-1 deal on cardiology treatments for broken hearts? You know how those two love doing things together.

Anyway, who wants to go to Iceland?! Yaaaaay. Lydia McLaughlin is a girl with bad timing! WWTD? Tamra would tell Lydia that for now and forever, and even in the heavens above, she is No. 1 shit-stirrer. Even if Tamra is putting on her halo and playing the role of Nurse Ratchet to Shannon’s One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, My Little Lydia best not get any ideas that her role as mess-maker with the innocent eyes is permanent. It was Lydia who had the greeeeeat idea to invite the women on her “work trip” to Iceland.

I had forgotten that Lydia and Doug own a magazine called Nobleman, for the neutered, beautifully de-balled male. Since apparently Iceland is a destination men love, Lydia decided the perfect way to research Iceland was to invite a group of women who hate each other to visit with her. Does Lydia realize that the only research these women do is on each other? Their “librarians” are psychics and the other women they gossip with – their real friends – at the country club?

When Lydia proposes this trip, unironically, at Meghan’s mystic party, everyone deadpans an excited reaction. Their faces don’t move on a good day, but these were zombie Housewives after Dr. Dubrow banned them from his premiere botox establishment. And those reactions were was BEFORE Lydia picked up the phone and speaker phone-vited Vicki and Kelly Dodd. Afterwards no one even tried to pretend they wanted to go. And no one does. I did think about it, though, and if I had to go on this trip with either Kelly or Vicki; or Shannon and Tamra, it would be Team Kill-Vill, all the way. At least they whoop it up, and I wouldn’t have to hear about about THE AFFAIR followed by a high pitched shriek of “Are you kidding me?! I am DONE!” Cause there’s a lot of echoes in Iceland and I fear the wrath of an avalanche.

Anyhoodle, let me back up. Lydia got the idea for idea for Iceland in her bright little eyes, but before she shared the news, Meghan’s enlightenment candle (which smells like Jimmy Dad Jean‘s breath while he’s giving a lecture on minding your own business) led her to plan a party with her friend Mystic Michaela. This is just as dumb as it sounds. This Mystic woman, who is not Stevie Nicks, supposedly give you insight about life by reading auras. Remember when these women had parties where they invited their real friends to be ancillary background characters? Now they just invite the Housewives in a constant vicious cycle of over-analyzing hate-watch each other over delicious food they don’t eat. Unless they’re Shannon.

Shannon was already in a tizzy over the accusation that David “grilled” Diko about Peggy’s cancer. When Shannon asked David, he told her that he wasn’t interrogating the Sulahians.  Tamra called to advise Shannon to just, you know, not stress over it because she knows David’s truth, but Shannon freaked out that Tamra is making her think about it and all Shannon wants to do is stress about everything cause then she can eat more cake and hate Vicki more too, but Tamra should stop bringing it up! The whole conversation is so frustrating that when Tamra hangs up she flings her phone into a pile of pillows that say “Mrs. & Mr,” and that makes me think that Shannon and David don’t have those. A) because anything from TJ Maxx is filled with petrochemical toxins and Shannon believes will kill her in her sleep; and B) David is too busy being Mr. Hi Honey I’m Not Home to appreciate any inspirational pillow propping. Also, when did Tamra become Shannon’s voice of reason? These are some dark and trying times, y’all!

I DO think David was acting weird while discussing the cancer with Diko, but I also reason that David probably didn’t care and was only half-listening, because it’s obvious that David has been inflicted with Jimmy Dad Jeans Syndrome, which is basically that you’re only half-present and never emotionally invested in anything Housewives-affiliated. Diko, on the other hand hand, contracted Dr. Terry Dubrow Syndrome.

By the time Meghan hosted her mystic party, Shannon was the frayed edges of an old Chanel bag, and Peggy was itching for a ‘confrontation’ about her feelings. It can’t always be about SHANNON’s feelings, you guys, but no amount of calming candles (which emit the subtle aroma of Jimmy Dad Jean’s breath while he snores) could stop Shannon from exploding in a fit of inShanity.

Vicki and Kelly did not attend Meghan’s party. Maybe a psychic had a premonition that it would be wise to avoid such gatherings. That psychic was probably Vicki’s cardiologist who was investigating the irregular heartbeats of her broken Love Tank. It was diagnosed that Brooks and Tamra are killing Vicki by making her heart cry and cry and cry, and this can only be fixed by more whopping it up. Is there no botox for one’s heart?! Also, Vicki doesn’t trust mystics. Vicki thinks the women use so-called psycho friends to do their dirty work. For once, I think Vicktim is correct, because Meghan says they’re afraid of what the psychic might say which leads me to believe something in Meghan’s aura wasn’t clean. Mystic Michaela was probably some sort of set-up waiting to happen. Instead Kelly and Vicki stayed home to eat cheese and talk about how they’re lucky to have found each other. True dat!

I’ll tell you who loves mystics: Shannon! And they love her right back. They can sense a woman who will relocate her bathroom if a Feng Shui expert spies a toilet in the relationship corner (good lord is that my favorite RHOC irony ever). Shannon will go to the Dr. Moon and back if she thinks her aura can be made sparkly as the rhinestones inside Lydia’s mother’s crown collection.

Shannon arrives giddy with aura-reading and wavelength percept-o-grams, and all the snake oil you can rub on the pressure points in her body; believing she is made of sugar, and spice, and everything nice. Oh, wait, sugar is inflammatory…and Shannon’s happiness is more erratic than a drunk sorority girl.

Peggy, on the other hand, only believes in the mystic in the sky named God. She’s only at this party to confront Shannon. Peggy refuses to be mysticized and knows that the mystic knows that her aura is very intuitive, but she’s not a mystic. Huh? She was also very rude to Mystic Michaela.

They all sit down to dinner, where I imagine Meghan imagined an Allison DuBois-type situation, but unfortunately Vicki stayed her ass home. Also, Meghan dropped the ball – clearly anyone throwing mystic party should be serving MYSTIC PIZZA, although salads in the crispy wrappers looked delish too.

When Lydia arrived, late, and bearing the bad news that they’re all going to Iceland, Peggy decided she must ‘clear the air’ before her first-ever girl’s trip. That means confronting Shannon.

I don’t think Peggy ever actually got around to saying what David allegedly did or said, or explaining her feelings, because Shannon immediately started spazzing. To undercut this, Peggy went and asked if Shannon trusted David.

I suppose Peggy meant did Shannon trust David’s account of his conversation with Diko, but it was so confusing – especially with the added interference of Lydia accusing Shannon of “Mad Dogging” Peggy and refusing to let her speak. Peggy also kept asking “Are you done?” Taking turns is nice! Then Shannon fled the table, which is better than flinging her plate.

During a secret bathroom counseling session with Tamra, Shannon insists that David only asked about Peggy’s cancer to recommend “some good cancer doctors.” Does Shannon really believe that she is literally THE ONLY PERSON IN CALIFORNIA who knows an oncologist? Maybe someone can trade her an oncologist for their psychologist? Obviously Shannon is trying to convince herself of David’s virtues.

Before Peggy leaves she attempts one-last talk with Shannon, but, again, nothing is actually discussed. This time Peggy starts crying because no one understands how she feels. Now Lydia wishes she could uninvite Shannon to Iceland, because she always ruins everything with her histrionic drama and self-absorbed meltdowns. If only…

With Peggy gone, Shannon turns her wrath onto Tamra for not having her back. She was screaming and yelling and pitching a fit something toddler-awful, while Meghan worried that her own infant would wake up. Maybe Shannon was having a psychotic break? Tamra hissed that Shannon “knows her truth” and shouldn’t stress about what Peggy said, but you can’t reason with crazy! Also, therein lies the problem: Shannon does know her truth. Her truth is that she’s living a lie. As Tamra even says, no matter what vows she renewed or where she ate guacamole in Hawaii, Shannon is never, not ever-ever over THE AFFAIR. And Tamra is tired of coddling Shannon’s emotional state like she’s one of her own children.

The next day, Shannon comes over to Tamra’s cringing in embarrassment over her latest freak out. Sitting on Tamra’s uncomfortable sofa she admits that her marriage is, again, in complete shambles, and she is lonely for David’s love. But Shannon has had an epiphany: she cannot depend on David to make her happy. If only Shannon would’ve had this realization 3 years and 45lbs ago… But in happier news Tamra has been invited to Sidney’s graduation, except we know how that goes!

Then finally everyone packs for Iceland! Shannon attempts to consult David over what to bring because she’s too fat to fit into her coats, but David is too absorbed in eating Pirate’s Booty to even register that Shannon is speaking to him, not a giant life-sized pirate whose head he must bite off.

Peggy tries to fit Diko in her suitcase for some manly-moral support, and Meghan packs up the nanny and the baby in matching hers and hers and hers Adidas track suits. Cause that’s a safe environment for children. On the plane Kelly marks her territory by spilling champagne all over Vicki’s seat while Tamra rolls her eyes until they water real tears. But they are off to the land of frozen paradise to study men in their vacation habitats.

Brandi Redmond Insists That Cary Deuber Commented About Her Plastic Surgeon; “So Over” Kameron Westcott

In a pretty surprising turn of events, Real Housewives Of Dallas has turned into the gift that keeps on giving. The entire cast actually shows up to group functions. The story lines don’t drag on longer than they should and everyone has relationships that exist outside of the show. They even have the perfect balance of arguing and turning up.

Basically, the Texans are giving us everything that the Orange County Housewives forgot how to do. One person who is constantly delivering the entertainment is Brandi Redmond. Some people find her to be hilarious and others are not on board with her brand of humor- cough cough Kameron Wrstcott. Nevertheless, Brandi someone that always keeps things interesting.

Brandi opened up about the last episode in her Bravo blog. Of course, she had to address the cause of the argument she ignited between Cary Deuber and LeeAnne Locken based on comments that Cary (allegedly) made about Brandi’s plastic surgeon. Brandi wrote, “First, let me start by saying that as an adult I am by no means in charge of holding anyone but myself accountable for their actions. So the fact that Cary expected me to hold LeeAnne accountable is ridiculous.” The fact that Cary denied criticizing Brandi’s doctor, back pedaled on her comments, and seemed to have no remorse was ridiculous.

Brandi insisted, “I don’t care if Cary can’t look at me in the face, but I will look straight at her and confirm that I’m not lying about the doctor comment. I had Cary on bluetooth with my mom in the car as we were leaving the doctor’s appointment after booking surgery when she said what she said.” The fact that Cary went from denying this all together to clarifying what she actually said is a pretty strong indication that Brandi is on the right side of history with this one.

Brandi explained sharing the anecdote: “And once again, me telling LeeAnne was an attempt to blow off the vagina doctor comment. I was wrong for repeating it, and I’m sorry for making the situation worse, but it was said”

And then Brandi had to get to her obligatory Kameron comments since these two have had issues during every episode this season. Even so, Brandi rarely mentioned the Elle Woods wannabe by name. She referred to her as “Big Bird” throughout most of the blog post.

Brandi theorized, “I think that she has a double standard, because to her it’s OK to talk about washing your vagina at a beach picnic since it’s ‘medically necessary.’ It would have been a different story had I said that. I can hear her in my head saying, ‘Well Brandi, if you need to do that, go do it, but we don’t need to know about your lady parts.'” We all know that is how that conversation would go down. Sure, Brandi doesn’t have a sophisticated sense of humor, but Kameron needs to lighten up a little bit and stop judging her so harshly.

Brandi declared, “So whatever — I’m so over Big Bird.” Surprisingly enough she did say, “However, I do need to apologize to Kameron because she isn’t totally full of sh–.”

Brandi continued, “Did I make fun of LeeAnne and her compact? Yes, but LL knows I would do and have done so to her face. Second, did I say things about LeeAnne with the other ladies? Yes I did, but we were talking about the ‘hands-not-knives’ situation.” Pretty much nothing could ever top LeeAnne’s instantly infamous rant at the plastic surgeon’s office.

She wrote, “Again, I said LeeAnne comes off as ‘mentally unstable’ in my opinion because of how she acts when she breaks and lashes out. So there, I said it. I own not only that I said it, but that I meant it too. It can be scary for the person on the receiving end. So Big Bird, let’s hope you don’t cross her one day.”

I actually hope for the opposite. LeeAnne unleashing on Kameron would be epic. Better yet, D’Andra Simmons seems to be the only one who can check LeeAnne and get away with it, so maybe she should apply that skills set in a conversation with Kameron. If anyone can use a reality check from D’Andra, it’s Kameron.

Brandi wrote, “LeeAnne and I have some serious history, and you know what, I do love to hate her and hate to love her. I can’t say the same for Kameron“- a sentiment echoed by many.

“It’s Brandi’s annual holiday party and she finds herself center of the drama when LeeAnne reveals that Cary can’t be friends with her and Stephanie anymore because of their behavior in Mexico. And when Brandi challenges her for an explanation, Cary sides with Kameron, infuriating Brandi so much, she blurts out a humiliating secret about Cary and Mark.”
