Premiere night is here, y’all! The Real Housewives of Potomac will make their debut, making it the first new Real Housewives franchise since Miami. And we can’t wait!
This new franchise, located in an affluent section of Maryland – close to Washington D.C. will feature cast members Robyn Dixon, Ashley Darby, Charrisse Jackson-Jordan, Karen Huger, Katie Rost and Gizelle Bryant. Bravo released their new taglines this week – keep reading to see what each newbie chose for their opening words.
Gizelle Bryant: “The word on the street is, that I’m the word on the street.”
Karen Huger: “In Potomac, it’s not about who you know, it’s who you are. And I’m everything.”
Katie Rost: “I’m a ball and gala girl. It’s my legacy and my calling.”
Robyn Dixon: “I don’t have a cookie cutter life and I’m not apologizing for it.”
Charrisse Jackson Jordan: “If I don’t know who you are, then you’re not worth knowing.”
Ashley Darby: “Throw this spring chicken into the cougar’s den and let the games begin”
We have our fingers crossed that Bravo did good with this one! Let’s hope we have some fun and a small side of drama. I caught a few of the cast members on a late night entertainment show last week and they assured viewers that they all have previous relationships with one another – all except for Ashley. So, that’s a good thing already – it’s nice when there’s a TRUE connection and it’s not some forced friend of a friend of a friend type deal. AND they all actually LIVE in the area they are shooting in. 😉 Nobody has been transplanted just for the purpose of the show, that we know of so far!
The show kicks off at 8pm CST/9pm EST, are you tuning in? We’ll be live-Tweeting after RHOA wraps up.
TELL US – ARE YOU WATCHING TONIGHT? DO YOU HAVE HIGH HOPES FOR THIS NEW RH FRANCHISE?
