Below Deck Season 11, Episode 4 Recap: Fraser Fights Back

Below Deck Season 11, Episode 4 recap

Welcome back to Below Deck Season 11, Episode 4. In this week’s episode, called “It’s Always Sunny in Grenada,” Cat’s lack of experience turns dinner service into a “Cat-astrophy,” and Captain Kerry’s there to see it. Cat is having difficulty fitting in with the crew, while Fraser puts Barbie on notice because she still refuses to respect her superiors anyone. While on the deck team, Sunny has beef with Ben. Here are the highlights from Below Deck Season 11, Episode 4.

“Everyone” hates Barbie

When last we left Below Deck, Fraser was telling Captain Kerry how Barbie thinks “we’re all now against her,” though he’s assured her that’s not the case. He’s tired of her “vile attitude” toward her boss, as well as her co-workers.

Even though she’s cranky, Barbie’s good at her job. Captain’s hoping Fraser can help her turn her attitude around and become an asset to the crew rather than a problem. “You don’t have to like her,” he says. “Let’s find a way for her to shine.”

Meanwhile, in their cabin, Barbie tells her roommate, Sunny, that her whole team “hates her.”

“I feel so underappreciated,” she says. “I’m doing such a good job, and all the guests love me.” Except for your attitude, sweetheart. That sucks.

Later, Barbie tells her mother on the phone, “My boss says I have a lack of respect for him, that I need to talk to him nicely.”

Her mom responds, “Your relationships with others are very important … Don’t feed into it.”

But Barbie maintains that she’s being mistreated and is constantly under attack. Poor Barbie is such a victim.

Barbie’s mom encourages her to remain calm and “don’t get angry. You’re capable of handling this.”

A wedding by a waterfall

Photo: Fred Jagueneau/Bravo

Jared and Fraser have decorated the platform next to a waterfall for the guests’ two vow renewals and a wedding. Captain Kerry is an ordained minister, so he’s marrying everybody in one fell swoop. He does all the ceremonies together, rather than one by one. That’s not very special for the couple who’s actually getting married. Seems like the other two couples should have let them have their moment.

Kerry instructs them to repeat, “I give you my hands, my heart … but not my last beer.” So romantic, Kerry!

Barbie has a little crush on Jared. While they’re cleaning up after the wedding, she outright tells him she likes him. “Did you hear what she just said?” Fraser teases. Jared’s a little “taken aback” by the honesty, but he likes it.

When Jared says she has a “twinkle in her eye,” Fraser snaps back, “I don’t know if that is. Could be tears.” That gets a giggle out of Barbie. Maybe there’s hope for their relationship yet.

Meanwhile, Sunny and Ben are like oil and water. She’s unhappy with him for calling her out over the walkie for not wearing a life jacket on the jet ski. It made her look bad in front of the captain and was a dick move on Ben’s part. He didn’t have to broadcast that over the radio.

A Cat-astrophic dinner

Below Deck Season 11, Episode 4
Photo: Bravo

Fraser gives Cat the opportunity to serve at dinner since he wants her to learn. It doesn’t go well. She reaches across the captain to refill his wine glass, when she should be pouring from his right. She asks Fraser how to place the cutlery for the next course (forks on the left, knives on the right – duh) when she should already know that. As she’s clearing between courses, Captain Kerry has to remind her, “Clean his placemat,” when she fails to clear a guest’s place setting.

“Quite honestly, this is a Cat-astrophy,” Fraser comments.

“All the mistakes I’m seeing that Cat’s doing,” Kerry interviews, “it appears to me that she hasn’t been trained well enough to be doing service tonight.” Cat had better pick up the pace.

Crew night out

Below Deck Season 11, Episode 4 recap
Photo: Fred Jagueneau/Bravo

Jared has a three-year-old daughter he’s never met. When it happened, he didn’t handle the news well that his girlfriend (now ex) was pregnant, and she returned to Alaska with the baby. He calls her every few days and talks to his daughter, but he’s never met her in person.

“I’m on a set schedule to talk to my daughter,” he tells us. “Not being able to talk because of the lack of cellular service here really puts me in a difficult way. My fear is that if I don’t maintain this schedule, [his ex] will just cut me off.” That’s a tough situation. He’s trying to do the right thing, but his job makes it difficult.

At dinner, Jared is messy drunk (possibly due to frustration about being unable to call his daughter). His inebriation kills Barbie’s crush.

“Jared’s sloppy behavior has just turned me all the way off,” she says. “It’s like one of those situations where you meet somebody, you’re on the first date, and you’re like, ‘I just met my husband!’ And then you go on the second date, and you’re like, ‘No, I did not.’”

Maybe she’ll make a move on Kyle after all. While they’re sitting on the beach having a smoke, he asks if she wants to go for “a little beach walk,” and she says, “Sure.” Goodbye, Jared. We’ll see how Kyle feels about Barbie after she dumps her “poor little Barbie” story on him.

“You’re lucky you’re working with people who are nice and respectful and not assholes to you,” she tells him. “I work my ass off. Guests love me more than anybody, but it is what it is.”

Sunny thinks Ben’s “being a dick”

At the same time, Ben and Sunny seem to be taking a romantic stroll along the beach. “How are you going?” he asks. “You enjoying it so far?”

“Yeah,” she says. “I got a little bit of, like, head bumps.”

“I mean, it’s work,” Ben responds.

“You know it’s not just work,” she says. “You’re being a dick. You just stir the pot all the time … That thing over the radio, not cool.” Whoa. Sunny doesn’t beat around the bush.

“Honestly, I don’t think it’s dick, darling,” he answers. “It’s cheeky. There’s a difference between dick and cheeky.”

“Well, it comes off as you being a dick,” she persists.

“I’m cheeky, I’m Aussie,” Ben says. “It’s charismatic.” Um, not so much, “darling.”

She reminds him about his chastising her over the radio. “Not cool,” she repeats.

“You’re worried the captain’s going to hear that?” he finally acknowledges. “It doesn’t matter. You’ve gotta be thick-skinned. I’m sorry that offended you. You’re doing great, the captain loves you. You’re probably his favorite crew member at the moment, so don’t worry about that at all. You got any problems, just come let me know.” And then he pulls her in for a hug. I guess they’re cool.

Cat has a meltdown

Below Deck Season 11, Episode 4
Photo: Fred Jagueneau/Bravo

Cat just doesn’t feel a connection with anyone on the boat. “For so many years growing up with my foster family,” she says, “I really suppressed who I actually was. Being thrown on a boat with people I don’t know, it makes you really insecure about your own self. You [wonder], ‘Oh, am I not funny enough? Am I not witty enough?’ I’m not able to, like, feel fully myself.”

Fraser realizes she’s struggling and asks, “What’s up, babes?”

“I’m just sad and tired and insecure about my personality,” she tells him.

“Why? Oh, my God, why?” he asks.

When she says she hopes she’s not “bland,” Fraser rebuts, “There’s nothing bland about you. Look at you!”

Cat’s a mess. “Cat, to me at the moment, is very much the Leaning Tower of Pisa,” Fraser interviews. “She has been through so much. No wonder why there’s a shock to the system.”

“You are beautiful, you are fun,” he tells her. “You are everything we need, and you are my most precious stew on interior. We are family for the next six weeks, okay? I’m going to be there for you at every occasion.”

“I sympathize with Cat,” Fraser confesses in his interview. “I want to be there for her, but I’ve been there before, and I know that all I really needed back then was to take a breath, to get myself together, and to come back. And that’s what I’m gonna do for her.”

“F*cking bring it, or go home”

Below Deck Season 11, Episode 4 recap
Photo: Fred Jagueneau/Bravo

Later at the bar, Fraser tells Barbie, “We’ve just gotta be fragile with her.” Again he calls Barbie out on her attitude, saying, “I can’t deal with that.”

“You’re a little sassy, too,” she says.

“No, no, wait. I don’t have sass,” Fraser tells her. “When stuff needs to be done, it needs to get done. And if it’s not done greatly, I’m gonna get angry.”

“And I’m not ‘yes, sir’ and ‘no, sir.’ That’s bullsh*t,” she snaps. Yikes! That’s your boss you’re talking to, girl. Show some respect.

“Here we go yet again,” Fraser says in an interview. “I don’t care how good of a stew you are. Where do you get off that this attitude and this approach towards your superior is going to work out for you?”

“You can f*ck off. You want to go against me,” Fraser tells her, “it’s gonna be sh*tty. F*cking bring it, or go home.”

Alrighty, then. Change your attitude, girl. You just can’t talk to your boss that way. Maybe your daddy applauded every little thing you ever did, but nobody else in this world is going to do that. So grow up, do your job, and start showing some respect for others.

Below Deck airs Mondays at 9/8c on Bravo.

Real Housewives of Potomac Season 8, Episode 14 Recap: Drama in the Dominican

Real Housewives of Potomac Season 8, Episode 14
Photo by: Jai Lennard/Bravo via Getty Images

The gals have gone abroad in Season 8 of The Real Housewives of Potomac. In last week’s episode, Robyn organized a trip to the Dominican Republic. She wanted everyone to focus on fun rather than fake conversations trying to heal their relationships. During the first moments of the trip, Robyn’s fun train nearly got derailed when Gizelle decided to crown Nneka as the new Grande Dame of Potomac.

Karen took it in strides. In her confessional, she laughed off the whole thing. She quipped, “This is no crowning, this is a clowning.”

This week on The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 8, Episode 14 “Sun’s Out Buns Out,” the Dominican Republic trip continued, and some serious drama started coming to the surface. So much for a fun trip. Here’s what went down in RHOP Season 8, Episode 14.

Let’s talk about Jason

On the first night of the trip, the ‘Wives went night golfing. If golfing is your thing, this would probably be fun. For the RHOP cast, they looked like fish out of water. Everyone except Nneka struggled to hit the balls, and this group would probably be better suited for mini-golf.

While they played around on the green, Mia and Nneka started grilling Gizelle about the status of her relationship with Jason Cameron from Winter House. Gizelle has claimed that they’re in a long-distance situationship, but the ladies wanted to know more. Are they exclusive, and what happens if he pops up on Instagram with some other girl?

Gizelle clarified that they aren’t exclusive, but she would be upset if he randomly started posting another girl on social media. She said they’d had conversations about that, and Jason told her she had nothing to worry about.

Meanwhile, over at Reality Tea, we’ve been following rumors about Jason posting up with a mystery blonde woman. Pictures are floating around social media. We don’t know when they were taken, but Jason might have some explaining to do.

Who’s screwing who?

After golfing and gossiping, the Real Housewives sat down for dinner. Ahead of the episode, Bravo hyped up this dinner like it would be some major event — one of those Housewives dinners we’d talk about for years to come. This wasn’t that.

Dinner kicked off with Gizelle talking about her daughter going to college in Florida. Although she’s attending an HBCU, they talked about how it’s scary to send a Black kid to Florida, considering its tumultuous political climate. Gizelle said that she has faith in Grace’s ability to navigate it all.

Then, Karen started preaching. She got on her soapbox, talking about how they’re a group of women who want to see each other win. It seemed like a nice message, despite coming from someone who had a full-blown meltdown just a few hours prior over not having a private room with an ocean view.

Gizelle had a hard time with Karen’s sermon and jumped in, adding that they should also be able to hold each other accountable when they mess up. Cue the drama.

“At Nneka’s house, you told Mia that she was screwing a rapper and screwing a married man,” Gizelle started. “In years past if I had said that, you would be going on a rampage about, ‘Gizelle is trying to destroy families.'”

Karen fumbled through a weak defense about giving the other girls a taste of their own medicine. In Karen’s mind, they go behind her back and talk about her marriage. The flashbacks proved otherwise.

With Karen on the defense, Mia decided to take things a step further. She dropped a bombshell and claimed she was still sitting on information about the Grande Dame that she hadn’t revealed. Everyone gasped. If Mia already accused Karen of having oral sex in a bathroom with someone other than Ray, what else could she possibly have on her? Mia played coy when pressed about it. Some of the ladies thought she might be bluffing. Regardless, it seemed to get Karen off her back.

Day 2 in the DR

Despite the drama at the first night’s dinner, the second day of the trip delivered some much-needed laughs for both the RHOP cast and everyone watching at home. Robyn arranged a revealing game for the women to play, which uncovered a lot of freaky truths about the Potomac ladies. Robyn challenged everyone to answer a sexually-charged question, and the rest of the crew had to determine if the person answering was telling the truth.

Keiarna revealed that she has explored almost all of her sexual fantasies. She said it happened during a phase. We’ve all been through one of those.

Meanwhile, Nneka was asked which husband she’d rather spend the night with. She could hardly choose between Juan and Gordon. Ultimately, she settled on Juan as the best-looking husband.

One of the cards asked Karen how many sexual partners she had in the last five years. Of course, we’re all expecting the answer to be one. She shouldn’t have been with anyone other than Ray, right?

Instead, Karen responded by announcing that she’s had over 40 partners in the last five years via her wet dreams. Remember in Season 1 when Karen wouldn’t shut up about social etiquette? Now, she’s talking about wet dreams. This show has come so far.

Ashley is finding her voice

Real Housewives of Potomac Season 8, Episode 14 recap

After the explicit game, the ladies headed to lunch, and Ashley decided to open up a little bit more about her divorce. She claimed that she felt a little uneasy being asked questions about her sex life, considering how she hadn’t divorced from Michael. This felt hypocritical coming from someone who already had a public relationship with another Bravolebrity. Still, the ladies heard her concerns.

Ashley then opened up about the financial situation that has kept her bound to Michael. We’ve heard this all before, but it’s the first time she told the whole group. She clarified that while Miachel doesn’t give her money, having him in her life gives her a sense of security.

With all of that out on the table, Ashley acknowledged that she needed to cut ties eventually. She hired a confidence coach, not to be confused with a life coach, to help her make steps towards divorcing.

When working with the confidence coach, Ashley said she was challenged to set a goal. You’d think her goal might be to turn a profit on her new clothing line, or to get a new resumé typed up. Instead, she revealed that her new goal is to focus on singing and writing a new song. As if “Coffee & Love” wasn’t enough for our eardrums, she wants to follow it up with another ditty.

Candiace challenged Ashley to give the group a sample of her vocals. She passed Ashley a butter knife to use as a microphone, and Darby’s Barbie rose to the challenge. She sang a few beats of her new song, “Healing & Thriving,” and honestly, it wasn’t horrible. Maybe Candiace and her can do a song together?

The second day of the trip seemed like it was going well. The ladies all laughed about sex. They drank tequila. Ashley sang. But, the good vibes didn’t last long. Once the ladies splintered off into their smaller cliques, the whispering started.

When talking to Gizelle, Ashley, and Mia, Robyn brought up the dinnertime conversation from the night before when they were talking about Gizelle’s daughter going off to college. She asked the other ladies if they noticed how Wendy and Candiace were making faces and giggling during the weighty conversation.

Mia and Gizelle said they both saw it. Gizelle said she felt it too, and she claimed she didn’t want to continue the conversation because she could see Wendy and Candiace being disrespectful. The flashbacks definitely weren’t on Wendy and Candiace’s side — it did seem like they were giving each other shady little glances.

As the credits rolled on the episode, we saw Wendy walking over to the Green Eyed Bandits, who were mid-conversation. Is this trip about to go even further south? We’ll find out next week.

The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 8 continues on Bravo, Sunday nights at 8/7c.

Summer House Season 8, Episode 2 Preview: Danielle Olivera Is ‘Focusing on Fun’

Danielle Olivera
Photo by: John Nacion/Variety via Getty Images

Nothing says Summer House is back for a new season like Danielle Olivera insisting on having fun. Actually, the same can be said about Winter House Season 3, just with handfuls of Brian Benni’s clothes thrown on the floor for props.

Needless to say, but Danielle is ready for summer 2023 fun. Her previous stint on reality TV the season prior was fraught with emotions. The drama with her bestie, Lindsay Hubbard, over her relationship with Carl Radke culminated with tears. Danielle wasn’t seeing much of her boyfriend, and that fallout was the most obvious in Colorado where Winter House was filmed.

So it’s time to play catch up on all the good times. And the Summer House Season 8, Episode 2 preview indicated that that’s exactly Danielle’s plan.

Danielle’s avoiding housemate hookups in Summer House Season 8

“Last summer was rough, I lost my boyfriend. Then in Colorado, there were some icy conditions,” the app developer said in the exclusive sneak peek of episode two.

Danielle and her boyfriend of two years, Robert Sieber, broke up in November of 2022. The chef moved on very quickly, which had the Summer House star suspicious of overlap in her former relationship.

She hooked up with Below Deck Sailing Yacht alum Alex Propson during Winter House Season 3. Alex decided he needed space, but Danielle was not receiving the message.

Producers added a clip of one of many conversations Alex had with Danielle during the course of that vacation. “I guess where I’m at, is let’s just focus on the friendship,” he said.

That was how the Bravolebrities left it in Colorado, though, it seemed that Danielle wanted more. She did say that the experience got her her mojo back.

So Danielle is riding that wave into the summer of 2023. However, not without some lessons learned about hooking up with a house guest and not checking your emotions at the door.

“So this summer, we’re focusing on fun. Just, definitely not someone under the same roof,” Danielle said in a confessional included in the teaser.

Catch Summer House Thursdays at 9/8c on Bravo.

Love Is Blind Season 6: Jimmy Says He Took Megan Fox Comments ‘Out of Proportion’

Love Is Blind - Jimmy

Jimmy Presnell, from the Netflix series Love Is Blind, is speaking all about his connection with his fiancée, Chelsea Blackwell.

The couple met each other during Season 6’s first batch of episodes, where they fell in love with each other in the pods while breaking two other contestant’s hearts in the process.

For Jimmy, things changed between him and Chelsea when they began speaking about their celebrity lookalikes. After revealing that he resembled the NFL great Christian McCaffery, Chelsea told Jimmy that people tell her she looks like Megan Fox. However, she quickly clarified that she doesn’t see it herself. Since then, it has become a trending topic on social media, with Chelsea adding her own context, but now, it’s Jimmy’s turn.

Jimmy is upset that he let Chelsea’s Megan Fox comment get him too excited

In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, Jimmy discussed their conversation about their celebrity doppelgangers. “I don’t remember the Megan Fox comments being that big of a deal,” he said before saying it was “hard” rewatching the scene. “I mean, obviously my ears or my eyes perked up a lot when she said Megan Fox … But, God, I would have done everything to have that moment back.”

However, Jimmy defended Chelsea, saying that the conversation viewers watched was exactly how it happened in the pods. “They included every bit of how she worded it to me, so I think it’s my fault that I took it out of proportion a little bit,” he said.

“I spent so much time getting to know her emotionally. I’m so pissed off of myself for letting a comment like that make me that excited,” he continued.

Jimmy continued, explaining that he wouldn’t have talked about looks if he could do it again. “That wasn’t why we were there, and I mean, I don’t remember it being that much about looks when I went through it, but reliving it, it seems to be a lot about looks. So it’s a lot of heat from it.”

Love Is Blind Season 6 continues Wednesdays on Netflix.

Porsha Williams Guobadia Files for Divorce From Husband Simon Guobadia After 15 Months of Marriage

Simon Guobadia and Porsha Williams Guobadia have filed for divorce

Porsha Williams Guobadia is experiencing quite the rollercoaster of emotions, having announced her return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta just one week before filing for divorce from her husband of 15 months, Simon Guobadia.

According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, and a source close to the matter, the divorce is “unrelated to recent allegations involving Simon’s past.” That is in reference to the unearthing of separate court documents that revealed Simon’s criminal past, and risk of permanent deportation from the United States.

The insider added that the split is an “ongoing matter.” Exactly what that means hasn’t yet been revealed. But I’m sure we’ll all gain some clarity when RHOA returns.

Porsha’s divorce is likely to feature heavily in RHOA

Porsha’s divorce proceedings are sure to make their way into her reality TV comeback’s narrative. Cameras haven’t yet picked up for The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 16. But we do know that Porsha has signed on the dotted line to return to the show. Her castmates haven’t yet been revealed, but Kandi Burruss announced she would be leaving the series after 14 seasons.

An overall scripted deal with NBCUniversal was also signed by Porsha. This allows her to tackle “scripted project opportunities across the company’s broadcast and streaming properties,” as well as Real Housewives.

“I’m incredibly thankful for the vision and faith NBCUniversal has put in me to be a larger part of their family,” she said at the time. “I’m looking forward to being back on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and showing the world my new world!” Not even Porsha could have predicted how different her “world” would look when filming begins, however.

Simon seemed excited at the prospect of Porsha’s return. He took to social media to celebrate to thank Porsha’s fans for their love. Now, it’s unlikely he’ll even feature on the show when it makes its comeback.

Love Is Blind Season 6: Why Brittany and Ken’s Relationship Ended

Love Is Blind Season 6 - Brittany and Ken
Photo Credit: Courtesy of Netflix © 2024

Netflix recently released the second batch of episodes for Love Is Blind Season 6, and it’s gotten everybody talking. Although most of the couples began experiencing difficulties once moving back home to North Carolina, it seemed like Kenneth Gorham and Brittany Mills had it the worst, ending things before any others.

During one of the episodes, Brittany told her fiancée she no longer felt the “crave” for him that she did when inside the pods. Shortly after, Ken also expressed concerns about their existence as a couple. They later called off the engagement and went their separate ways.

“Hearing that, ‘I don’t have that crave for you anymore.’ As hard as it was to hear it, I had to respect it,” Kenneth told Entertainment Tonight. “I was like, ‘No! I still crave you [and] still want you. … I’m still with you.’ I had to respect it because there’s no point of going through with it.”

Brittany and Kenneth decided they’d still be friends despite their messy Love Is Blind breakup

During an earlier episode, watchers saw Kenneth and another contestant, AD Smith, talk about the challenges Ken and Brittany would face as an interracial couple. After their “needed” conversation, it seemed that’s when Ken began drifting away from his partner.

However, both are assuring watchers that wasn’t the case. “I think Kenneth and I being in a biracial relationship actually didn’t offer any pressure to us,” Brittany said. “It actually offered a beauty to it, in my opinion. It’s something I’m very used to, and I’m very passionate about. And while it was new to Kenneth, I think that it made him feel a bit more comfortable rather than pressure that I have experienced being in biracial relationships or interracial relationships.”

But after all was said and done, the pair couldn’t get on the right track, leading to their split. But according to Kenneth, he “did not” see it coming. Which is odd, considering he initiated it. But I digress.

“I was so committed [and] saw my forever with Brittany. I really did,” he said. “We needed to have that moment of her being that direct with me of being like, ‘I don’t feel this way that I used to, and I need you to hear that.'”

Love Is Blind Season 6 continues Wednesdays on Netflix.

Tom Schwartz Almost Quit Pump Rules: ‘It Broke Me’

Tom Schwartz
Photo by Noam Galai/WireImage via Getty Images

Tom Schwartz has been through the wringer, to the point where he almost quit Pump Rules altogether. Anyone who would spend so much time with Tom Sandoval is always gonna get some stick.

Schwartz’s choice to stay beside his friend in the wake of Scandoval has been met with mixed reactions. Many fans would agree with Katie Maloney, who essentially finds the friendship unjustifiable at this point.

Nevertheless, it would seem the Vanderpump Rules besties need each other. If Sandoval hadn’t come back for Season 11, Schwartz might not have either.

Schwartz couldn’t resist reading fans’ hate

On February 20, Schwartz spoke with Rolling Stone ahead of his Watch What Happens Live appearance later that day. “I’m just feeling full of gratitude,” he said, his disposition quite cheery. “I’m on a bit of a wave right now after a pretty gloomy past few years, I’m riding kind of high.”

“Gloomy” was perhaps an understatement. There was a time when Tom didn’t want to return to VPR. He faced a major identity crisis amid Scandoval. As he put it, “I think I cowered under the unrelenting hate and just getting roasted online so much.

“If you’re not going through it, you might just think, okay, just don’t look at the internet, stay off social media. But I use that as a tool to market businesses that I’m associated with and brand building, and, I don’t know, it’s hard not to sometimes. There’s a morbid curiosity.”

Why Tom Schwartz decided to stay on VPR

After describing how “scary” it was to have his DMs filled with “caustic, nasty stuff,” he said, “I’m chill to a fault. I had never been under so much scrutiny, and it was scary. I think it broke me. … You guys on the internet. You broke me. I hope you’re happy. But I’m back.”

Schwartz further admitted to feeling “so bleak and despondent,” especially with the bar Schwartz & Sandy’s in a precarious position, that he didn’t want to return to the show. He thought, “‘I’m ready to step away and pursue something new. I can’t deal with this anymore.’ But I would wake up the next day and be like, wait, I love this.

“I love my Bravo family. I love the people that I get to work with. These are my friends, and these are my family. I don’t think of us as just a cast. I freaking love these people. ‘Till death do us part.’”

Ultimately, Schwartz felt that he was carving an identity, and he wanted everyone to know it. “I’m not Tom Sandoval’s sidekick, I’m not just Katie’s ex-husband. I’m Tom Schwartz.”

Vanderpump Rules Season 11 continues Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.

As with any season finale, The Real Housewives of Miami Season 6, Episode 17, “Havana Nights,” had quite the undertaking of putting a neat little bow on everyone’s stories this year. Last week, things got tense between Larsa and her friends as they questioned Michael Jordan’s disapproval of her relationship with Marcus. As for other goings on this season, who could forget the drama between Guerdy and Larsa, especially amid the former’s battle with cancer? So, how will it all end? Find out in this recap of the Real Housewives of Miami Season 6 finale.

Everybody loves Larsa

This episode began with Larsa and Marcus setting up for another episode of their podcast. The topic on everyone’s mind was, of course, Michael Jordan, who told reporters he was not a fan of Marcus’ relationship with Larsa. The Housewife was pretty observably bothered by that fact but tried to let Marcus be the one to address it.

Marcus told production that it wasn’t typical for Michael to meet his girlfriends, so Larsa wasn’t an exception in that regard. He also pointed out that his mom “f*cking loves Larsa,” and her opinion was more important than Michael’s. Furthermore, Larsa pointed out that her parents were very happy with Marcus.

Elsewhere, Guerdy met up with Nicole to shoot the breeze. After discussing how the Mexico trip sort of went off the rails for Guerdy, the two began discussing their medical goings-on. Nicole shared her optimism for pregnancy and avoiding the IVF route. Guerdy shared how Adriana’s upcoming party would be like a last date for her and Russell before chemo.

That’s when the conversation turned to Larsa as Guerdy again expressed her distaste for her “friend” having revealed her cancer to the group. Moreover, Larsa shared how Guerdy bit her during the Mexico trip, which soon made headlines, turning that into unnecessary drama. She criticized Larsa for ‘sensationalizing’ the situation.

Guerdy was especially frustrated since things seemed quite good between her and Larsa on the trip to Mexico, especially while at church. Nicole described their progress as “one step forward … seven steps back.” Guerdy said she would “continue to have an issue until [Larsa] f*cking understands her place.”

Alexia, Lisa, Julia, and their supportive families

From there, we checked in with Alexia who was moving out of her previous residence (without Todd). Alexia’s sons joined her and she had a heart-to-heart with Peter. The Housewife pointed out that Peter would become Frankie’s guardian if something happened to Alexia. Peter said he knew just as much and was prepared to take that on if needed. Alexia teared up.

Later that night, Lisa received a visit from her mom, Jean, and Aunt Dell. The three discussed Lenny, with Lisa revealing that Jean had stopped frequently visiting because of her estranged husband. Jean and Dell reiterated that they never liked Lenny. Jean admitted to texting Lenny after the Season 5 scandal but never received a response.

Lisa pointed out that her mother came from a place of poverty and, as a result, always had poor interactions with Lenny’s family, who let their privilege show. The visit from the women in her life seemed to be extremely uplifting, especially as Dell pointed out that karma was on its way.

The next day, Julia was looking at options for making a return on her farm as Martina suggested. Adriana visited and consulted her on how to adequately price jam. Unfortunately, despite the product plans, Julia had expenses stacking up since she took in a new pig. However, Martina was understanding, seeing as the pig was a rescue. She ultimately supported the new animal.

Guerdy has Russell shave her head

It was time for Guerdy to take the next step on her cancer journey. As part of her plans to prepare for chemo, the fabulous event planner decided that she would shave her head. With her hair braided up and ready to cut, she still showed a great deal of apprehension, hoping there would still be a shadow.

For Guerdy, shaving her head was a sign of control, and it felt only fitting that Russell would help her shave it all off. Guerdy thanked him for always being there. “I don’t know what I would’ve done without you,” she said. “You’re my best friend.”

Guerdy began cutting braid by braid with tears in her eyes. Russell finished the job, getting the braids in the back and taking up the electric razor thereafter. Even though Guerdy couldn’t help but feel that he was lying, Russell said he knew it would look good. “You’re very beautiful,” Russell assured her. “It doesn’t look bad at all. Trust me.” And soon enough, the hair was gone.

Adriana’s party begins (with surprise appearances)

Adriana’s party was nigh at hand, with a rehearsal beforehand to prepare the showcase for her new single. Despite the excitement, her nerves were palpable, and not just because of the upcoming performance. Adriana was nervous because she didn’t want her friends to cause a scene in front of her producer, Emilio.

And who should be the one to help assuage these fears? Shockingly, Marysol. Adriana’s longtime enemy took off for Scotland a few days before to renew her vows with her man. Marysol FaceTimed in while Adriana was getting ready, congratulating the pop star. “Does she know who she’s talking to?” Adriana asked in a confessional. In her confessional, Marysol called Adriana a “motherf*cker,” but admitted that she still loved her “even though she keeps poking the bear.”

On the way to the party, the girls couldn’t help but discuss Larsa – both the tension between her and Guerdy, and what Michael Jordan told reporters. It would be the first time the girls would reunite since the Mexico trip.

The Housewives began filing into the party, along with some unexpected guests, such as Nicole’s father, his girlfriend, and Ana Quincoces. To her credit, Alexia kept her distance and did not cause a scene.

Larsa and Guerdy go at it again

The ladies sat down for a friendly chat and began discussing their significant others. Apparently, Lisa was the only one who got the memo to bring her beau. When Larsa brought up Marcus, the group began discussing Michael Jordan again. Julia expressed how she felt that Larsa wasn’t being very forthcoming with the group.

Larsa was getting tired of the conversation. She asked her friends if they needed permission from their parents regarding their romantic entanglements. Julia felt Larsa was being defensive because she had something to hide. At least Adriana was avoiding the drama, speaking with Emilio in private. Emilio made her night when he revealed he’d play bongos during her number.

But back outside, just when things seemed to cool off, Guerdy entered the chat. The group was discussing how they felt they’d gotten closer, especially after Mexico. That’s when Guerdy brought up everything Larsa had done over the season, emphasizing the “fake tears” comment. Larsa said, “I can’t win with you” as Guerdy pressed her on her behavior.

Larsa brought up the bite and Guerdy was amused. “There she goes,” Guerdy said with a smile. “You bit me and you’re mad at me,” Larsa said. The argument was beginning to attract attention from other partygoers. Larsa told cameras how she felt that Guerdy was “always looking for a reason to be mad” at her. As if it were hard for Guerdy to find any.

“You’re not sorry,” Guerdy said bluntly. “You should be sorry, but you’re not sorry.” Nicole privately condemned how Larsa spoke to Guerdy, telling her to “dial it back a little bit,” what with all that Guerdy was going through.

The argument began devolving quickly into unintelligible madness. Russell looked on in frustration. Kiki had just gone to the bathroom and said, “I can’t leave these ladies by themselves for two seconds.” Guerdy asked Larsa why she even brought up the bite and Larsa said her arm was hurting when they got back from the trip. Guerdy shed some fake tears and said, “Aww.”

In a confessional, Larsa said she was “a victim here too. I’m sick too.” Oh my gosh, cue the eye roll. Lisa soon came over and tried to talk Guerdy down. Lisa said that any mention of the bite was a joke. Guerdy wasn’t having it. “I’m not doing this with you … You’re about to now defend her and her good intentions … I am going through a whole lot, Lisa.” She further told Larsa, “Shut your mouth.”

Guerdy reminded the group that she had a blood test tomorrow. Larsa screamed she was sorry and that it wasn’t her fault. Guerdy said a friend who cared about her wouldn’t behave like Larsa. Guerdy then pulled off her hat and wig to reveal what she’d been up to earlier that day. As Guerdy continued her attack on Larsa, the latter shouted that she would leave and never talk to Guerdy again because she was “wrong.”

That’s when Russell intervened. He asked Guerdy, “Why are you dealing with this?” suggesting she was above the squabble. Larsa shouted for Russell to take his wife and he repeatedly shut her down, just saying, “Be respectful.” Larsa with no self-awareness as usual, shouted, “I’m being respectful!”

Guerdy and Russell walked off. Russell said, “You can’t do that sh*t in front of me.” Lisa soon ran after them, and Nicole followed in turn. “You need to leave me alone,” Guerdy told Lisa. Nicole came and grabbed her soon enough, explaining that Guerdy needed space. “I am not your enemy!” Lisa shouted. “You know her, you need to give her a f*cking second!” Nicole chided.

Adriana performs her new single

Before Adriana went out on stage for the night, Larsa was still reeling from the conversation with Guerdy. Julia tried to encourage her to move on. Alexia reminded her that Guerdy was going through a lot. Lisa, however, just reminded Larsa that she would always have her back. At the very least, the two had each other amid their divorces, Lisa’s ongoing.

As Adriana readied herself, the group engaged in some drinking and dancing. After Kiki danced with Nicole’s dad, she noted his “hard-on … It’s long and it’s big.” Whack. Nicole was as embarrassed as ever. As an aside, this was a strange scene to keep in the edit following Nicole’s father’s unexpected recent passing.

Luckily, distraction soon came in the form of Adriana. However, the performer was feeling the pressure. Singing for the most important people in her life was far more nerve-wracking than even the hundreds of thousands of people in Mexico. Regardless, Adriana killed it, and her friends loved the song.

Where are the Real Housewives of Miami now?

And that’s a wrap on RHOM Season 6. Since filming ended, Kiki found herself a new man but has yet to introduce him to her friends. Adriana has continued her work with Emilio, with her new song expected to be released soon. Marysol successfully renewed her vows with Steve in Scotland.

Nicole’s home is still under renovation, but in more important news, she got the chance to tell her father about her pregnancy before he passed away in November 2023. Marcus presented Larsa with a promise ring with talks of an upcoming marriage (Oof, unfortunate timing). With Martina’s cancer behind her, she and Julia restarted their hopes to adopt a child.

Alexia’s son, Frankie, took an Uber all on his own, just as The DeMoya Foundation challenged. Frankie continues progressing while Alexia and Todd’s finances are reportedly just fine. As for Lisa, Lenny is still contesting their settlement, so, it’ll be a minute before her new house comes along. Until then, she’s living in a condo.

After 127 days of chemo, Guerdy was declared officially cancer-free. “I just Guerdyfied cancer,” she said triumphantly to the cameras. She added: “I can do anything moving forward. I have no doubt.” And that’s where Season 6 ends. For now…

The Real Housewives of Miami Season 6 reunion begins on Wednesday, February 28 at 9/8c on Bravo.
