'The Bachelorette' recap: Rachel Lindsay dumps 8 bachelors but gives roses to "tickle monster" and "whaboom" guys

The Bachelorette star Rachel Lindsay eliminated her first eight bachelor suitors during Monday night's premiere broadcast of the ABC reality dating series' thirteenth season.

Tinsley Mortimer Doesn’t Know Where She Stands With Sonja Morgan

Usually, I live for everything Sonja Morgan does on Real Housewives of New York. Even with all of her stories that don’t quite add up, I’ve always loved how she was able to be entertaining without being mean. That’s why I am so confused by her relationship with Tinsley Mortimer.

Obviously Tinsley owes Sonja for being her link to this show and for letting her live in the infamous townhouse, but I am just so thrown off by their dynamic. Sonja doesn’t want Tinsley hanging out with “her” friends, but then she’s sending her off to events on her own instead of clinging to her. Sonja has always been my girl (in my head, anyway), so I hope she’s not playing some low key mean girl games with Tinsley.

When it comes to Sonja, I would be pretty perplexed if I were Tinsley. The newest RHONY cast member shared her thoughts in a Bravo blog entry.

Before getting to the Sonja stuff, Tinsley admitted, “Believe it or not, I actually think  gave me some great tips to attract men at Beautique.  I’m not soon going to forget the coy sideways glance while sipping my drink through a straw…very coquettish.  It’s always fun getting to know friends better, and I definitely enjoyed being with Ramona and spending some time with Sonja outside of the townhouse. It was a super fun girls’ night out!” It sure looked fun. Tinsley made out with Chad who we can all agree is pretty hot.

Unfortunately people are giving her shit for hooking up with the young hottie instead of just letting her enjoy her life. Tinsley wrote, “Let’s make this clear: I get it that a 23-year-old is definitely NOT ON THE LIST. But what’s wrong with a little flirting practice with a cute boy? I know Sonja was trying to help, but PUHLEEZ!  I’ve just come from a pretty dark place in Palm Beach, so let me have a little fun!” Sonja was the last person that I expected to judge a friend for hooking up with a younger dude. What is going on? I figured Sonja would be getting with Chad’s friend during a double date or something, but she’s just hating on Tinsley.

Tinsley complained, “Yes, I’m a big girl, and I can go out by myself, but I thought Sonja was being a little snarky sending me on my own to Dorinda’s [Medley] charity event. I really do not know these girls that well, and I haven’t been going out to events for a while. I’ve just moved back to New York, and I still feel a little unsure about myself. I’m just unclear whether Sonja is trying to be helpful and have me learn the ropes or just trying to confuse me with her behavior. I’m definitely missing something here.” Same. This is so unlike Sonja. She is usually the sweetest, most welcoming person in the cast. What is going on?

Tinsley said, “I don’t know where we stand…Am I a friend, a sister or her second daughter?! Maybe she really does have my best interests at heart. Let’s just hope I can figure this out soon before our friendship totally falls apart!” Well, that last part doesn’t bode too well. It looks like we are in for at least one Tinsley vs. Sonja argument.

Stassi Schroeder And Patrick Meagher Reconcile! Will He Appear On Vanderpump Rules Next Season?

Just when you thought it was safe to hand Stassi Schroeder her official Vanderpump Rules spinster papers, she goes and screws up the storyline reconciles with her old boyfriend! Yes, Stassi and ex-boyfriend Patrick Meagher are an item again.

She can hang up that Steve Jobs turtleneck swimsuit, stop bemoaning her single gal fate to engaged and married friends far and wide – because Stassi is back in a relationship, people! And this time, it looks like we may get to see it play out on camera. According to rumors, Patrick is finally willing to film with Stassi on Pump Rules – a drastic shift from his previous stance on the matter. (Is this, perhaps, why they’re back together? Hmm? Rekindled Relationships by Bravo!)

CLICK CONTINUE READING FOR MORE!

Though Stassi didn’t expand on the why’s or how’s of their reconciliation, she did post the above photo on Instagram Monday night with the simple caption, “Back again” followed by three hearts. Stassi’s followers heaped on the encouragement, commenting “So happy for you!” and “You are such a beautiful couple! Do not listen to haters-only you know what is right.”

This outpouring of support is likely a welcome change of pace from the negative backlash Stassi received last season. Backlash which, Stassi said, made her “suicidal.” After engaging in what some dubbed as mean girl behavior, the internet dragged Stassi…HARD. She responded in a tweet, “Suicidal thanks to you tweeters. Please stop.” She later blamed editing for casting her in an unfair light, which led to ramped up online hate.

So, Stassi changing her relationship status from “single” back to “in a relationship” might be just what the reality TV doctor ordered! At the very least, she can finally quit arranging those lingerie photo shoots, and put a stop to Kristen Doute writing her Tinder profile.

After her breakup with Patrick last summer, Stassi word vomited explained her side of the story on her podcast: “He thinks I’m selfish, I think he’s judgmental. Then it just escalates…I’m trying to remember why it was the best decision for us to break up. We argue all the time…I feel like I’m exposing myself by giving too many details. I feel like I’m word vomiting all over the place…it’s not about getting rid of Patrick, it’s about getting rid of this routine. We fight all the time.”

The couple’s estrangement played out on Pump Rules, with Stassi bemoaning her single status pretty much nonstop. Now that they’re back together, it will be interesting to see how their dynamic plays out on the show. And how the rest of the Pump Rules gang, who are notorious for hazing newbies, will treat Patrick.

Dean Unglert -- 'The Bachelorette' host Chris Harrison: He's facing a backlash, but Rachel Lindsay finds him bold and funny

Ariana Madix Changes Up Her Look With A Major Haircut

Aside from the her inexplicable beef with Stassi Schroeder, Ariana Madix got a lot of attention during the last season of Vanderpump Rules because of her braids- specifically the braid guy that she and Tom Sandoval paid to come to their apartment and do their hair. I’m not sure if she put her braids at jeopardy or if she just has the opportunity for more looks now, but Ariana has revamped her look with a major haircut.

Ariana is stunning, so I feel like she would look good bald, but I loved all of the intricate styles she was able to do with her long hair. She kills it though. Plus, I feel like having your hair chopped off can be pretty cathartic. Maybe she’s getting ready for some sort of fresh start to film Vanderpump Rules? Maybe I’m just reading too much into an Instagram post. Either way, she looks dope.

In true Pump Rules fashion, Ariana debuted her new look with an Instagram post. Her followers were living for it and she captioned it with “new hair, same b*tch.” along with a knife emoji. Are those some fighting words for the next season or just a fierce caption to accompany a fierce hairstyle? I guess we will find out whenever the next season airs.

She put up another photo of her new look, this time rocking a Britney Spears tshirt that I wish I had. And just like the other post, she got a lot of love and likes. Now I’m just wondering who has the longer locks these days: Ariana or Sandoval?
