Goodbye, Captain Lee Rosbach’s epic blogs! Adios, Kate Chastain’s Resting B*tch Face! See ya later, Kyle Dixon’s massively confusing backstory! Ciao, Bemily! Thanks for the forever scarring memories of late night snot snacking, Trevor Walker! Tragically, we won’t get to see the aftermath of this season’s drama play out on the couches, as there will be no reunion this year. To which I say: Pfffffffffft. Not okay, Andy Cohen! Why do you have to be so uncool to us, bro?
Last night, Kate continued laying into her crew, who seem to be using their last charter as a chance to slack off. After a pep talk from Kate, Emily Warburton Adam seems on board with ending the season strong. But Sierra Storm is not about to let this annoying stuff called “work” ruin her frightening permasmile. She chooses to passive-aggressively snark “sure” to Kate’s instructions. Maybe she just needs a hug? Emily obliges by giving her one.

As Nico Scholly and Kyle wait for the guests to finish frolicking ashore, Kyle takes the 100th opportunity to berate Sierra, who he was horn dogging after mere weeks ago. Until she rejected him, that is. Now, she’s suddenly Satan, and he’s in love with Ashley again. Which totally makes sense if you’re in Kyle’s brain! As for Nico, he’s saving up all of his hatred for another person: Kate. Ben Robinson ain’t feeling Kate lately either, claiming she’s being too hard on her stews. But methinks Ben is a wee bit sensitive about Emily’s feelings, which need to be tended to more meticulously than that hideous bouquet still chillin’ in the cooler.
This sensitivity manifests itself in Ben and Kate incessantly bickering over food, which turns into Ben consulting with Emily about food, which pisses Kate off even more. Emily is not the chief stew – just in case Ben didn’t get the memo. But he is the head chef, as he reminds Kate, so he’s going to do whatever he wants! Kate just wants off this boat. Now. “You’re such a jerk!” she finally snaps at the fit-throwing Ben.
When the guests return from their excursion, Kate serves them snacks that Ben reluctantly agreed to make. Annoyed about Kate being right (as in: the guests were hungry after all!), Ben fumes about missing the “old” Kate. Like, the Kate he slept with? Or the Kate who built his ego up enough to ask Emily out? Or the Kate who’s been professionally attending to the guests’ needs for three straight seasons now? Which Kate is it, Ben?!
Out on deck, Kelley Johnson gives his team a warm and fuzzy speech about how they’ve all pulled off a great charter season. If by great, he means “slightly disastrous, but everyone lived through it!” then yeah, okay. Great season courtesy of the Valor deck crew! Participation trophies for ALL!!! Nico, Kyle, and Lauren Burchnell mentally fist bump each other in appreciation of their efforts, feeling the dysfunctional family vibe of it all.
Down below, Sierra asks Kate if she really thinks the stews are doing a bad job? Kate admits her disappointment with their recent lack of attention to detail, but Sierra defends that she’s still working hard. Kate just can’t see it! Sierra can’t – or won’t – hear the criticism, opting for sarcasm instead. Like all very special people with very special feelings, she chalks up management direction as “meanness” and work expectations as personal affronts. Blech.
Captain Lee joins the guest for their last dinner, who happily grill him about his entire work history aboard sea vessels as he perfects his own RBF. When Kate goes down to the galley to let Ben know how well dinner is going, he’s suddenly in a strangely chipper mood – which shocks her. But maybe not, considering she’s been subject to his mood swings for years now. “It’s 50 shades of Ben!” he jokes when Kate comments on his Jekyll and Hyde act.
As Kyle and Kate tuck themselves into bed, they discuss Sierra. But when they move on to Nico and Lauren’s trash talking about Kate, the mood takes a turn. Kate doesn’t feel she deserves their petty comments about her, so she wants to clear the air with them. Even though she snarks that it doesn’t really matter “what the one stripe people think.”
Last day of charter! Ben and Kate are still managing to get along, and they’ve only got two hours to go before this hellish mess of a charter season is behind them. In other positive news, Captain Lee finally has some kind words for Kelley, who he thinks is ending the season strong. Especially since he’s got Nico to delegate to now. They dock successfully in their final port, and the team says goodbye to their last guests of season four, who are appreciative of the “extraordinary crew” that served them.
Let’s see how that appreciation plays out in the tip. Captain Lee gives the verdict: $16k. A good haul for their last hurrah! The crew are given orders to get Valor back into shape before heading out to celebrate tonight.
Before the celebration can begin, Kate wants to clear her name with Nico and Lauren, who she calls into a meeting. She’s prepared to give them “bitch face, code black” if necessary. But she barely has the chance to explain that she didn’t rat them out over the trashed master suite before Nico throws a hissy fit. He walks off after Kate’s explanation, with nary an apology of his own for acting like a drunken fool in the first place. Nice. At least Lauren somewhat owns her part in the mess, apologizing to Kate for blaming her – for her own ridiculous behavior. Kate just can’t with these two anymore, though. They need to go back to kindergarten to learn skills like: Don’t pee on the carpet and keep your hands off of million dollar property that isn’t yours. Or something like that.
As the sun begins to set, Ashley arrives for her last visit aboard Valor. Kyle isn’t quite ready for her, but he does have big plans for the evening ahead…which Ashley might not be ready for, herself.
After their last crew dinner ashore, Ben wants to make amends with Kate. But Ben’s rekindled friendship with Kate starts getting Emily paranoid about their relationship. So she takes Ben aside to question him: Does he still have feelings for Kate? She doesn’t understand how Ben can flip from hate to love so quickly with her. What the hell does it all mean?!?! Ben says that he and Kate are better off as friends than colleagues. Confused, Emily walks off to ponder this mess.
Meanwhile, Kyle is professing his everlasting love for Ashley, who’s made him “a better man.” Overcome by the moment, Kyle suddenly offers Kate a thousand bucks for her $2k ring, then gets down on one knee and proposes to THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE. Ashley says yes, and everyone cheers. What Ashley doesn’t know yet is that her relationship with his impetuous fool is about to go off the rails in a few short months when he decides to have baby #2 with his original baby mama. Ain’t love grand? #FreeAshley! #RunGirlRun!
Ben’s amends to Kate also take a left turn as the former couple sit on a swing together and profess their hatred of one another. Because now Kate (unbeknownst to her) is dealing with post-Emily Ben, otherwise known as Guilty Ben. Who has morphed into the familiar Grouchy Ben of this entire season. He is, in short, being a giant a$$hole to her. As Ben tells Kate he never wants to work with her again, Kate reciprocates the feeling, noting how self destructive Ben really is. She walks away from him so he can sit in his own poopy diaper for awhile and contemplate the nature of mature relationships.
Back on Valor later, Ben does admit that he was a “f*cking toolbag” and “d*ck” to Kate. But how will he make this right now? The next morning, he attempts to by immediately apologizing to her. Kate is not up for this heart to heart first thing in the morning, dismissing Ben with an “okay, thank you” and a pity hug before he slinks away. Jayzus! Ben doesn’t need a psychic. He needs therapy.
In a more peaceful ending, Captain Lee shakes the hands of the crew that drove him slowly insane, and Kate manages to say goodbye to Sierra’s creepy fake smile without slapping her. Sierra is proud of her positive mental attitude though! She’s #Winning – in her book. Kelley and Nico hug it out, swearing to be BFFs always. Kyle leaves with good vibes for his deck crew and Kate, planning to tear up a bacon sandwich as his first order of business back home. Plan number 2: Tear up people’s lives.
Seeking approval from Captain Lee, Kelley talks to him about the season behind them. Lee is proud of his progress since two years ago, and even claims he’d work with Kelley again in the future. That’s music to Kelley’s ears.
Below deck, Ben is still on his apology tour. Next stop: Emily. After admitting he acted like a huge d-bag the night before, he professes his admiration of Emily, hoping they can stay in touch. He wants to make a go of this relationship and, after Emily leaves, even vows to give this thing everything he’s got. He WILL conquer love! Though the season was a solid 7/10 in Ben’s estimation, he might have gotten a future wife out of it. Not bad for a guy with mood disorder and janky flowers. 
The final farewell is saved for Captain Lee and Kate. Lee tells her that she did exceptionally well this year, and that she still looks like a guest – not the chief stew! Lee also admits this season was tough, filled with obstacles, and chock full o’ crazy crew members. But in the end, the guests left happy and the crew made a ton of money. And, he says, “I still have the best damn job in the world.”

There were a lot of Real Housewives of Orange County viewers who were upset when Lauri Peterson left the show so she could focus on her son Josh Waring’s personal troubles away from the spotlight. As much as Lauri was missed on the show, it became clear throughout the years that she definitely made the right choice when Josh continued getting into trouble over and over again. His most recent “issue,” if you can even call it that, was that he was arrested for attempted murder. He decided to represent himself during the preliminary hearing which didn’t go so well and now Josh has to stand trial.
That is some heavy drama to deal with. And on top of all this, his daughter lives with Lauri. If he couldn’t even clean himself up for his daughter, then I really don’t know what to say about him. This is has to be a very sad and difficult situation for Lauri to deal with, so it makes sense that she’s choosing to live away from the reality TV cameras. Sure, she would have ended up being the OG of the OC, but clearly there are some things that are more important than that.

We’ll never know why Josh thought it was a smart idea to represent himself at his preliminary hearing, but he did and things did not go well. Sure, they weren’t going to go well anyway since he was on trial for attempted murder with multiple witnesses verifying the same story about him recklessly shooting at people, but it still wasn’t the best way to go into the trial.
Now a judge has ordered Josh to stand trial for the attempted murder charges, according to an article from My News LA. And of course, Josh was encouraged to reconsider representing himself in the courtroom.
Not only did Josh shoot a gun at people, but he also started a police chase and crashed a car before having a stand off with the cops. Things are looking very grim for Josh and I’m sure Lauri’s heart is breaking over this whole ordeal.

Proceed with...Ladies of London star Caroline Stanbury and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills OG Kyle Richards hung out in the Clubhouse (for the last time in this location!) tonight with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live. Kyle shares updates on sister Kim Richards, her relationship with Lisa Rinna now and more. Caroline reveals that she and Sophie Stanbury are still “broken” and dishes on her relationship status with Annabelle, too. Kyle also shares which of her RHOBH co-stars donated the most money during her fundraising challenges on Celebrity Apprentice.
Andy said that Lisa Vanderpump wasn’t happy when she heard Kyle‘s comments in the first episode. Kyle says “and you know what, we had a great season together and all of the sudden she was not happy about that comment. I didn’t know that was a big deal. Whatever, it’s fine.”
Andy says that there was major drama at the premiere party and it was awesome. But he doesn’t elaborate for those of us playing along at home…
Andy asks Caroline if she can figure out Dorit’s accent. Caroline says it happens both ways – some Americans pick up that twinge of a Brit accent while they’re in London and vice versa. She doesn’t think it’s unusual at all.
Andy plays a round of catch-up with Kyle.
Andy asks Caroline how things are with Sophie and she says “not good. The Stanbury sisters are broken.” She says she was shocked and didn’t see that coming.
A caller asks Caroline when she’s moving to Dubai and if this is her last season of Ladies of London. “I’ve moved to Dubai. And you never know.”
A viewer asks Kyle how she can be friends with Rinna after she spoke so poorly of her sister Kim. “They don’t get along. In this environment it’s difficult. She apologized to me profusely. I know she says things that she regrets and she’s, at the end of the day, a good person. I try to move on.”
Has Caroline talked to Annabelle recently? “We don’t have a relationship at all.”
What did Kyle get Erika for her birthday? “I got her a coffee table book of pinup girls because she reminds me of a pinup girl.”
A caller brings up that Erika called Kyle‘s relationship with Lisa Vanderpump a “leveraged relationship” – what does Kyle think Erika meant by that? “It’s kind of hard to say. I think it’s hard for people when they watch the show and then they come and join the show and see the situation once they’re in there. Lisa and I have navigated through this show for seven years together. I think it’s probably complicated for people to understand but we really do love each other and at this point we’ve already hurt each other and we don’t want anyone to hurt us and we’re protective.” Andy says he loves watching Kyle and Lisa give it back to each other. Andy loves that Lisa refers to it as “boxing with Kyle.” She agrees and says they’re like sisters who love each other and fight.
Does Caroline know Lisa Vanderpump? “Yes, I’ve met her many many times.” Andy also reveals that Caroline called Kyle for advice before she signed on with Ladies of London in the first season. Kyle says she was objective and told her there would be ups and downs.
A viewer asked if Kyle got a nose job. She says “not recently” (back in 2006 she did) and admits that she started shading her nose differently and ever since people have been asking her that. She says Erika Jayne gave her some tips.
Does Caroline feel like the ladies are turning on her this season? “Yes. I feel like Lisa Vanderpump about two years ago. The time everyone turned on her. I’m on an island by myself but I’m kind of okay there.”
Andy congratulated Kyle on opening her new store in NYC last night.
A caller asks Kyle about her stint on Celebrity Apprentice. The caller wanted to know which of her RHOBH co-stars wrote the biggest check during the fundraising challenge and also wanted to know if she got along with Porsha Williams from RHOA. “I did get along with Porsha. She was funny and fantastic. Adrienne Maloof and Camille Grammer were the most generous.”
Poll Question of the night: Who had the best Studio 54 look? Lisa Rinna won with 31% of the votes.

Lyme Disease, Housen-Mousen, Owning It, Oh my! You know what that means? Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills is back.
Tonight marks the season 7 premiere of Bravo’s wealthiest and most over-the-top Housewives, and I could not be more excited. Especially after the dark, dreary, and twisted turn last season took, courtesy of one lady, and her lemons, her Lymes, and her lack of love!
To prepare for what’s to come let’s revisit all the highs and lows from season 6!

She Came, She Saw, She Conquered Many Pusses:
Season 6 welcomed a Housewife who was outrageous in all the right ways! That would be Erika Girardi. An unconventional trophy wife with an alter ego named Erika Jayne, a heart of ice-cold platinum, and a puss probably made of 24k gold, Erika played cool and coy and didn’t hesitate to tell Bethenny Frankel where she could shake her weak-ass margarita. Maybe it’s cause Erika knew she was dully protected by her superstar attorney husband Tom?
While Erika excelled at dropping it like it’s hot, she also wasn’t about dropping Yolanda Foster when the going got tough. Erika remained Yolanda’s loyal and steadfast sidekick against the Lyme-versity, even lying on Yo’s behalf and suggesting that LVP spun complicated webs in which to ensnare her allies and enemies alike!
It seems Erika has learned from her mistakes and this season isn’t about to do no lady’s bidding!
These Are The Days Of Our Lymes:
Without a doubt the major storyline from last season was Yolanda and her ever-curious Lyme disease diagnosis. I don’t care to bore you with the particulars, save to say that Yolanda put on her death mask (aka she skipped makeup), and trotted her symptoms out in full-force, wrapped in the white bathrobe of resistance.
Yolanda then revealed that two of her children, Bella and Anwar, were also afflicted with Chronic Lyme. When Lisa Vanderpump claimed no knowledge of this despite her close friendship with Yolanda’s ex Mohamed, Yolanda accused her former friend of lying about her and her children.
Be warned: Yolanda’s vault is filled with more iciness than her crystal fridge!
Housen-Mousen-Munchausen-Manipulating:
Does Lisa Rinna think Yolanda was faking Lyme Disease for attention? Did LVP “manipulate” Lipsa into making said accusations on camera with an unseen phone call full of suggestive statements. Was Kyle dragged into it or down with it or alongside?
Yolanda wants it known that her disease, and all her alternative treatments, are very, very legit and serious. As serious as a closet full of meds and full-time live-in mini-me health advocate named Daisy.
Does Lisa put hallucogenics in her rose bushes? Memory erasing potions in her bottomless cups of tea? Is she capable of convincing lesser Lisa’s of using their lips for evil not good? One may never know, but the bottom line is this: You said it Lipsa, so don’t get all pernicious on LVP – own it!
You Say Affair; I Say Apology:
Things started out so promising for Eileen Davidson, but things went horribly awry when she started drinking the Lyme-Aid! It would be Eileen who put the idea into Lipsa’s bobbly-head that perhaps, just perhaps, it was LVP who was using her… It all began in the luxurious backdrop of the Hamptons, at a hotspot hotel during an ubiquitous white party stolen from beneath the kaftans of Kyle.
LVP blithely probed Eileen for details of how her affair with Vinnie led to a long and lasting marriage. Eileen took affront to LVP’s tone, and also questioned the end-goal of LVP’s enquiry. Eileen wanted an apology from her so-called friend: again, and again, and again. Like the actress she is, Eileen demanded a retake until LVP got it perfect. Maybe someday…
Kaftans, Kims, And Kyles:
After Kim Richards‘s sobriety collapsed, so too did her relationship with Kyle Richards.
Kim took a Housewives hiatus to get help, or at the very least, to go on Target shopping sprees and rehab flees, leaving behind Kyle to answer the unanswerable questions about the Kurious misbehaviors of Kim Killah. Kyle had no answers. Thankfully, she turned to LVP for guidance and support, sweeping all their past disagreements under the boughs of Kyle’s mumu and heading off to Italy on a friendship rekindling trek.
While Lisa and Kyle‘s friendship was a pleasant distraction from the Lyme, lies, and lack of alibis, one place Kyle’s family wasn’t welcome, was niece Nicky Hilton‘s wedding!
Thankfully, Kyle and Kim managed to have a heart-to-heart and patch things up-ish, but Lipsa is still playing like Eileen and waiting for acknowledgement or an apology from Kim! Maybe someday…
The Great Recasting:
Ding-Dong the witches are back in the Valley! Bravo finally cleaned house, relieving Brandi Glanville and Kim of their toxic duties. Luckily, Lipsa, Eileen, and YoLymeaid were available to offer vitamin IVs, metallic tooth detoxify, used bags of silicone implants, and cryogenic brain freezes to spread around the bad juju!
My King Is Missing:
Remember when David Foster’s face appeared on the side of a milk carton searching for a missing bank account husband? Or maybe it was on the side of a vitamin bottle that we spied his aggrieved face? Yolanda’s Lyme-brain made it impossible to recall when she last felt the love from David, where he was laying his head, or when their marriage ended – just in case she filed for divorce at the start of last season, shocking the hell out of all who’d heard her spiel about worshiping her king as she sprawled across his piano wearing impeccable white Lululemon.
But those were the days before Lyme seized hold of Yolanda’s very existence, putting her in a constant perilous struggle for survival, only cured by David’s money an amazing race around the globe for the cure.
Lipsa later speculated that Yolanda’s symptoms miraculously increased the second she moved into that divorce condo and out of the Malibu mansion of David’s loving embrace.
The Prettiest Little Horses In The Hills:
Then there was that time LVP chartered a private jet to pick up mini ponies for Ken Todd‘s birthday. Those tiny horses weren’t quite right so she had some more hand delivered at Villa Rosa with matching mini pony barn.
Cause what do you get the 70-year-old man who has everything, including a hip replacement? Why miniature horses the color of rosé, of course!
Arabian Fights:
The ladies traveled to Dubai for what was arguably one of the most fabulous Housewives trips ever. Unfortunately most of their time in the city of sand, sun, and shopping was spent arguing about Lyme, Lies, and Loose Lips. Maybe everyone had sand in their mind?
LVP would not be backed into a corner about conspiring with Kyle about Yolanda, or that she “suggested” someone – postulate that Yolanda may not be as Lyme afflicted as her little heart desired. Lipsa and Eileen gave it a valiant try, prying an admission of guilt out of LVP is like prying the Lyme out of Yolanda!
Does Anyone Care What Faye Has To Say?
New Housewife Kathryn Edwards had a bone to pick with Kyle’s erstwhile morally corrupt BFF, Faye Resnick. Unfortunately, when Kathryn finally got the opportunity to confront her decades-long enemy for lies Faye spread in her memoir, Kathryn withered under Faye’s nuclear orange glow. I really never care to see Faye again. Unfortunately, I’m sure we won’t ever get our wish…
When Kathryn wasn’t pondering how to enact revenge on Faye, her bad hearing was causing her problems with the Girardis. First, she miss-represented Erika’s analysis that LVP was a spider, and Kathryn’s bickering with Erika turned into cross-examining Tom.
Luckily Kathrine and Erika were able to wade in the big girl pool to put their issues behind them, but it wasn’t enough to save Kathryn’s place in the cast. Neither Kathryn nor Yolanda will be returning this season, but Erika is back!

New year, new drama, new vocabulary--puhhlease! The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills returns for season seven tonight and we've got but one request: Leave those tired season six...
This season of Below Deck has been so good. It is chock full of drama and I’m living for it. One person with no tolerance for bull shit who has been all kinds of annoyed this year is my girl Kate Chastain.
Kate is not afraid to speak her mind in any situation so it makes perfect sense that she has a book coming out soon. I can’t wait to see what she has to say about her experiences on the show – especially since she also mentioned that there won’t be a Below Deck reunion this season. This news really upsets me because I would love to know what the cast members have to say after watching the season, but I’m sure Kate will be serving up enough tea for me to feel satisfied and entertained.

When a fan tweeted to Kate, “I hope you get lots of apologies at the reunion @Kate_Chastain #BelowDeck,” the reality star replied by saying, “I don’t think we’re doing a reunion this year. @Bravotv has a pretty exciting winter line up of shows to fit in!” Ugh. I’m so annoyed.
I am beyond bummed that there won’t be a Below Deck reunion, but I do feel like Kate talking shit about her fellow cast members will be pretty entertaining. Kate knows how to throw some pretty good shade on the show so I have hopes that her book will be a good read.

Kate announced the news about her book via Twitter. Kate tweeted, “FUN FACT: you can all take a page out of my book being published on Amazon next week after the final #BelowDeck episode.”
Kate already has a website where she blogs her thoughts on the Below Deck episodes among other things so she has experience writing and we all know she’s all about telling it like it is, so I think the show’s fans will be entertained. Plus, my interest is definitely piqued since Kate is releasing the book right after the Below Deck finale. That is some good timing because I’m sure I’ll be going through Below Deck-induced withdrawals immediately after that last episode.
