Ginger Zee didn't let a little back spasm and pelvic injury rain on her Dancing With the Stars parade. The Good Morning America meteorologist told E! News she is "feeling a lot better"...Hashtag New Craig Conover unleashed the beast on last night’s Southern Charm. After he announces Whitney Sudler-Smith must hate Kathryn Dennis because she started hooking up with Thomas Ravenel just one week after her brief stay at Casa de Altschul, the group is in an uproar.
Cameran Eubanks hasn’t heard this theory before, and she warns Craig that he may want to retract his statement. Whitney is gobsmacked (who doesn’t love that word?), reminding Craig that he slept with Kathryn long before T-Rav. Shepard “Shep” Rose giggles “sloppy seconds” before Craig prattles off that Kathryn stayed with Whitney for five days, not to mention, Whitney escorted her to the party where she left with Thomas. Whitney can’t get his chin off the floor. “Are you kidding me? You’re believing Kathryn over me?” Cameran is mortified that her new bestie is being raked over the coals by a hapless Hashtag. Craig is so concerned with channeling his inner Harriet the Spy, he doesn’t notice how awkward things have become for the rest of the crew. Cameran recalls the time Craig called out Kathryn to her face about sleeping with three guys in their circle. Sure, Craig did that, but the past is the past…he is friends with Kathryn now.

Shep sits quietly by, gauging Whitney’s extreme reaction. Thou doth protest too much! Shepspeare is in our midst! Horrible over-dubbing (get your shiz together, Bravo!) has Craig blaming Whitney for outing his partying ways to his parents in Delaware. Didn’t he know that behavior would come back to bite his ass? Whitney rises, cursing Craig and listing off the reasons why Kathryn is a pathological liar, and Shep tells him to shut it (or was he saying that to Craig?). Naomie tries to reign in her boyfriend as Whitney storms off the porch.
Cameran tells Craig he needs to be ashamed of himself. She jokes that he’s living in an alternate reality…has he ever seen Whitney upset over a girl? Cameran is convinced Craig has the mentality of a high school girl who loves to follow the drama. Oh, that’s rich! Shep believes champagne can salvage this dour crew, and he enlists Craig to start popping bottles. Danni is fed up with the Kathryn bashing. Why is it okay for T-Rav to act a fool and get a pass, but Kathryn is crucified? Aren’t they both equally cray-cray? JD recognizes that Thomas and Kathryn’s tumultuous relationship has affected everyone close to them. Cameran seconds that assertion. That’s why she tries to stay as far away from them both as possible. She may actually have the most realistic game plan.
In the kitchen, Shep chastises Craig for rocking the boat and creating tension in what was supposed to be a fun mountain retreat. Sure, he wants to get Kathryn back into the crowd’s good graces, but Craig is going about it all wrong. As Craig hides his dip (is he drinking wine while chewing tobacco?), Cameran insists he apologize to Whitney. As the rest of the group scurries off the porch to avoid getting caught in a slap fest fist fight, Cameran initiates a treaty between the two friends before siding with Whitney. She doesn’t even know Craig anymore. Naomie is upset that Craig embarrassed himself (and her) while sucking the fun out of the evening.
The next morning, Whitney is still in shock that Craig could believe his dalliance with Kathryn was anything more than a one-night stand. He and Cameran bid farewell to early-rising Landon Clements before heading back to Charleston. Craig has been excommunicated from Cameran’s circle of trust.
In Mount Pleasant, Kathryn and precious Kensie are face-timing with Thomas. She reveals that her doctor has pushed up her inducement date by three weeks, and their son will be officially making his debut in eleven days. T-Rav is actually relieved to hear this news. He’s been so concerned with keeping Kathryn calm to protect the health of his unborn child, the kid making an appearance will take that stress right off his shoulders.
In Linville, Shep wakes up to find Landon cooking breakfast after half his guests have hightailed it home. He was a bit tipsy the previous evening, so the battle royale between Craig and Whitney is a bit of a blur. Naomie and Craig aren’t shocked to find they’re the only guests left with Shep and Landon. Craig knows Whitney can dish it but can’t take it. A year ago, Shep would have been pissed to have Craig ruin the weekend, but he’s trying to be an adult about it.
Since Whitney sometimes forgets about his caftan-wearing, diamond-dripping widowed mother, Patricia decides to call on his latest open concept loft to make sure she’s on his mind. After her morning martini, Michael escorts her to the $3k/month apartment where Whitney is playing some metal to match his current mood. Patricia swoops through the giant loft with a distasteful eye. Concrete floors and exposed brick? Is this an ISIS prison camp? And that, my friends, is why grossly rich people with little self-awareness get a bad rap.
When Patricia asks about the Linville getaway, Whitney is hesitant for a recap. Recognizing that Southern WASPS don’t share feelings, she doesn’t press him for details. Pat is excited to hear that Whitney’s girlfriend Larissa will be coming to visit. As soon as Whitney decides to settle down, she’s got five engagement rings with his fiance’s name on them. Turning the conversation to Craig, Patricia tells her son that she ran into JD at the bank and inquired about Craig’s position with his company. She and Patricia cackle over JD’s response: “Craig’s my bitch.”
Whitney is planning an impromptu guys’ trip to Los Angles, from which Craig has been totally uninvited. Thomas has stocked the nursery at Target, but Kathryn isn’t returning his calls. He’s starting to get worried, so he calls the pair’s nanny, who informs him that his plans to go to LA a few days before her due date have sent Kathryn over the edge. T-Rav is floored. It’s just two days! Kathryn wants to micro-manage his schedule down to when he’s allowed to use the bathroom with her demands on his time. The nanny kindly shares that if something were to happen while he was gone, he’d never make it back to Charleston in time, revealing that Kathryn is completely overwhelmed. This situation could have been avoided had Thomas thought a little harder before traipsing cross country mere days before his son would be born. Thomas sullenly promises to apologize, but no one knows Kathryn’s whereabouts.
Naomie and Craig are still a tad on the outs, but both are surprised at Cameran’s reaction. She’s never gotten so angry with Craig before! Craig is convinced that Whitney showed the truth with his actions, but Naomie is tired of Craig being a broken record about it. Just drop it! Craig appreciates that Naomie is so skilled at bringing him back to reality. How can he salvage his friendships and appease his girlfriend while still completing his mission of getting to the bottom of Whitney’s hatred for Kathryn? Oh Hashtag New Craig, you have so much to learn.
Meanwhile, Whitney has arrived in Los Angeles to prep his house for the guys’ weekend. LA is the epicenter of his career and ambitions. He’s not Shep who is content day drinking and chasing sixes to hook up with in Charleston. Thomas calls his friend to break the news that he’s bailing on the trip. Whitney doesn’t understand why it matters…the couple is not together, so why do either care what the other is doing? Thomas admits to feeling manipulated by Kathryn, but he finds it’s easier to appease her than deal with her wrath.
After an epic blow up in the mountains, Craig has invited Cameran to lunch to see how much his tirade has affected their friendship. He realizes that his questions to Whitney may have come across more like accusations. Cameran explains that Whitney was embarrassed and hurt by Craig’s actions, but Craig asserts that he just wants everyone to be friends again and hang out together sans drama. Cameran wonders when that ever happened in the past…because it was never a thing. Jekyll Island? Oh, wait…nope. Founder’s Ball? Never mind. As the light bulb slowly illuminates over Craig’s head, he realizes he’s probably off the list for the LA weekend. You think? One who has learned (bwahahaha!) from past mistakes is T-Rav. He sends Kathryn flowers with the message, “I’m very sorry. Love, Thomas.” Kathryn laughs at the simpleness of it all, and the nanny encourages her to talk through things with Thomas.
When Shep learns that Thomas is no longer going to LA, he calls Whitney to suggest extending the olive branch to Craig. Grudges are for losers. Whitney will need to think about it…and Craig is going to have to come begging on all fours, which Whitney claims he’s good at doing. Shep is convinced Craig would be a hilarious addition to the trip just based on his wardrobe and hair product alone. Across the country, Craig pops in on Kathryn to rehash the disastrous mountain weekend. He truly believes Kathryn’s account of her history with Whitney, but he’s going to have to end his truth crusade if he wants to reconcile with Whitney and Cameran. Kathryn understands and is appreciative of his attempts. She knows the truth but wants to focus on the positive at this point in her life.
Truth be told, if Whitney ever had true feelings for Kathryn, he’s long since forgotten them thanks to Larissa. Their greeting alone is magical. He’s got Mylar balloons, awkward kisses, mad guitar riffs, and a forceful German accent. It’s true love!
At the Palace Hotel, Craig and Shep are lunching and chatting about the incident in North Carolina. Craig admits that he feels badly about how he approached Whitney. Shep feels that things with guys are so much easier than with girls. They can just take shots and get over their pettiness. He evaluates Craig’s fight with Whitney. Sure it made a dent, but it wasn’t a bromance ending world war. In fact, he’s gotten Craig re-invited to Whitney’s LA abode! Craig is extremely grateful to his pal and promises to be on his best behavior. There will be plenty of groveling for good measure. As the episode concludes, T-Rav arrives at Kathryn’s house with his tool kit. Kathryn wants to discuss Whitney’s constant meddling, and Thomas tries to sell the trip as Whitney’s attempt to celebrate the birth of his son. Good luck with that. Kathryn just wishes T-Rav would surround himself with people who bring out the best in him.

There’s a lot of confusion over what exactly is going on between Bethenny Frankel and Sonja Morgan. Bethenny, and her “Zero F–ks,” ripped Sonja a new one for promoting a new prosecco called Tipsy Girl, which Bethenny called a “Cheater Brand” because it was too closely related to Skinnygirl. I co-sign that the name is absolutely a calculated play off of Skinnygirl, and I agree with Bethenny that, on a personal level, she has every right to be angry at her so-called ‘friend,’ but on a business level – is Sonja really stepping on Bethenny’s turf?
In light of all the confusion about what’s legal, and how exactly Sonja’s brand could possibly be a threat to Skinnygirl, the Real Housewives Of New York star explained about trademarks on Twitter, and Bethenny announced plans to produce her own business show!
After someone suggested Bethenny trademark the words “skinny” and “girl,” Bethenny shot back, “You cannot trademark a regular word. This is why I’m producing a biz show.” Last year Bethenny launched B Real Productions and co-produced Food Porn, which aired on the FYI network.
Answering to another challenge, Bethenny explained why there’s no friction between Skinnygirl and the creators of Skinnycow, the brand John Medhessian accused Skinnygirl of being the “cheater brand” of.
But Skinnygirl does do diet desserts – which Skinnycow also does (not just ice cream). Is that not a conflict? I’m curious to see if Skinnycow has any “girl” or “cow” in this fight?
Bethenny also says that if she had to re-do her girl vs. girl smack down with Sonja, she wouldn’t change a thing!
Bethenny shared behind-the-scenes information from last week’s “brutal” episode – including what she’s wearing during her confrontation with Sonja. And she’s making this a regular thing – Bethenny announced a new web series available through her site, called “Show & Tell”. Just in case you haven’t gotten enough of her rants during her regularly scheduled programming (or her radio show). All of which is brought to us by the Number “Zero” and the Letters “N” and “F” for “No F–ks”. Because someone who truly gives no f–ks can’t stop talking about about all the things she gives no f–ks about, right?! (Yeah, B Real – not so much; B Overkill?! – abso-f**king-lutely!)
“I never saw a mini skirt I didn’t like… Prosecco is a different story,” declares Bethenny. “Shiz got real From SoHo to the Skinnygirl office, there was no shortage of style (or shade… so much shade).”
During the dinner scene with Carole Radziwill and Ramona Singer, which took place at NoMo, Bethenny explains why Ramona ordering appetizers Bethenny can’t eat was a good thing! “One of my favorite tips from my book Naturally Thin is you can have it all, just not all at once – so ordering a bunch of apps to share is the way to go. I’m allergic to fish so the tuna tartare was a no-go, but on looks alone that’s my kind of circle of life.”
Moving from shellfish to cold fish, Bethenny mentions wearing designer to ice Sonja out. “The whole situation back at Skinnygirl HQ… Let’s just say that this Alexander Wang sweater was the most comfortable thing in the room.” How charming.

Finally – moving from Skinnygirl to Tipsy Girl! I was a bit curious about the status of Sonja’s latest venture – given her track record for invisible businesses. Last I heard Bethenny was planning to take Peter Guimares, Sonja’s business partner, to court for copyright infringement, but was denied. Peter owns the trademark to Tipsy Girl (and Bethenny was denied a trademark for “Tipsygirl” – one word). As of this week Peter was granted a SOU, or “Statement Of Use” by the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and had a “Notice Of Allowance” issued.

On Tipsy Girl’s Instagram they announced that “Tipsy Girl Prosecco and Rose has left Italy scheduled to arrive NYC end of month. #tipsygirlnyc #italianwines #prosecco,” and they also posted a photo of the upcoming Tipsy Girl restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen.

It's time to go back to New Jersey. Nearly two years after season six premiered, Bravo is bringing back The Real Housewives of New Jersey for a seventh season of drama, friendship and family....
Ever since Alisan Porter joined Christina Aguilera's The Voice team in the season 10 premiere (and was joined by a ton of similarly talented singers), it's been a very, very real...I may be in the minority, but I miss seeing Brandi Glanville on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. I know she was very polarizing, but you know what, at least she was never boring. She always captivated me when she was on screen, and let’s face it: that last season of RHOBH was extremely boring and needed her to shake things up from the super repetitive Munchausen plot.
Thankfully, it seems like Brandi hasn’t found a reality show that she won’t join, so it’s not like she has been missing from our lives for too long – especially now since she is promoting Famously Single. She has been doing a ton of interviews and of course she is still talking about RHOBH. And she has a lot to say about it and just how “real” Real Housewives of Beverly Hills actually is.

I really think RHOBH needs Brandi back, so part of me is annoyed that she’s doing all these other reality shows, but I am happy she’s still talking shit and discussing Real Housewives of Beverly Hills whenever she possibly can. This is exactly what she did during a Fox News interview.
Brandi said what I was thinking when she explained, “Beverly Hills Housewives will always be a part of my life. It’s like you’re grandfathered in. I will always be a Housewife forever and ever and ever and ever and ever.” And that is how I will always look at her, but RHOBH could really use her level of craziness.

Brandi is acting like she’s happy to be off of Real Housewives even though it never seemed like it was her choice, but maybe she is just making the most out of being fired? Brandi said, “It’s been nice having a break and not always having to strategize and think about what’s going to happen next and who’s going to come at you.” I had no idea there was so much foresight and planning to being a Real Housewife other than scheduling dinner parties and Bravo-funded trips, but Brandi is saying that it is a highly manipulative process being on the show.
Brandi continued talking shit on the show that made her a household name (or at least pretty relevant) when she said, “Constantly being combative with people is just not happy or fun. I needed the break that I had. Famously Single was perfect because actually going into it, I went in thinking, ‘We’re just here to work on love. There’s no prizes and there’s no drama.'” I don’t know what to make of that. I’m sure it can be stressful being a Real Housewife, but I would rather be on a established reality show that is a real powerhouse than a show that is not even guaranteed to have all its episodes air.

Brandi shaded Real Housewives of Beverly Hills even further – ummm, I mean “promoted Famously Single” when she said, “Everything that happened was so authentic – not that Housewives wasn’t authentic. I think on Housewives, the other women plan with each other who to go after. Whereas, with this, we’re all here living under one roof and there’s drama because there’s actually drama.” So, once again, Brandi is implying that RHOBH is a pretty manipulated scenario. And for all I know that’s probably true, but she just sounds like a bitter ex to me.

Andy Cohen‘s book “Most Talkative” is hitting the stage – sort of. Ryan Raftery has produced and is starring in a new production called “Ryan Raftery’s Watch What Happens – Live On Stage!” Ryan takes on the world of reality television – largely a figment of his imagination – with Andy moving to New York to pursue his two passions: television and Anderson Cooper.
If you’re wondering how Andy feels about this, Ryan has been a guest bartender on Watch What Happens Live and shared that Andy is his best subject. In fact, several Housewives (Luann de Lesseps and more) are already confirmed to attend opening night at Joe’s Pub at the Public Theater downtown NYC on July 12th. You might be out of luck for opening night since only 30 tickets were left after the ticket sales opened yesterday, but there will be additional dates this summer – August 1st & 8th, and September 12th.
The show will also feature three Real Housewives – Nene Leakes (played by Romelda Teron Benjamin), Teresa Giudice (played by Emily McNamara), and Kim Richards (played by Miranda Noelle Wilson).
In Ryan’s last show, “Ryan Raftery is the Most Powerful Woman in Fashion”, he portrayed Anna Wintour dealing with the backlash of her decision to place Kim and Kanye on the cover of Vogue and the show went on to international acclaim.

When it comes to The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, there is one key thing that makes the ABC siblings work, season after season. OK, a few things, if you count the ability of millions of...It’s no secret that Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Marie takes a lot of heat on social media – especially when the show is airing new episodes. It’s also no secret that the Pump cast loves to put out new music for fans (you didn’t forget Pump Sessions yet, did you?! Or T.I.P.? Or that other video nobody understands from White Kanye), but Mike Shay is going one step further – releasing a song for the haters called “Twitter Moms.”
A few of the catchy lyrics assume the Twitter Moms and Instagram Trolls are chowing down McDonald’s because they can’t afford Chili’s and should be eating salads. “This is a song for the Twitter Moms who only post pics of your kids and your dogs. You hide behind the internet mad because you’re heavyset. Skinny model bitch try some salad with some vinaigrette.”
“Yeah you call me fat, yeah you call me ugly, from your phone at your home, wrapped in a Snuggie.” And “I’m sorry that your life sucks, I’m sorry you’re not happy. You’re a closet bitch and your attitude is crappy.” Shay even mentions his pill addiction being a thing of the past, blasts the haters who refer to Scheana as a c**t on Twitter, and more.

When he shares his theory about the two of them, Cameran and Whitney are the most vocal and riled up over it. Will it ruin the rest of their group trip?
Speaking of Kathryn and Whitney’s so-called-relationship, his mother, Patricia Altschul sides with her son, naturally. She shared with Entertainment Tonight that it was more of a sleepover than anything. “What can I say? I live in one wing of the house, and at that time, Whitney was living at the other wing. And I think that this whole contrivance that there was a relationship is misconstrued. I mean… I don’t like to use the term one night stand. I prefer ‘sleepover.’” She adds, “I think this was just a good, old-fashioned Southern sleepover. I mean, I never saw her in the house except once.”
Pat says that even if it was a week or a week and a half, that’s not exactly a relationship. “The funny thing is, she was talking about having a relationship that went on for a week and a half. I mean, I think that it was relations — they had relations, they did not have a relationship.”
Meanwhile, back in Charleston Kathryn goes ‘missing’ and the nanny tells Thomas that it’s because she was upset over his planned guys’ weekend in L.A. with Whitney and friends – right before her due date.
Southern Charm airs tonight at 8c/9est.
Tonight on Real Housewives of Dallas, Tiffany Hendra attempts to solidify her standing in Dallas by throwing a charity concert with Aaron at the House of Blues. Brandi Redmond learns that her younger brother, a veteran, has suffered from an overdose. LeeAnne Locken and Stephanie Hollman meet in an attempt to reconcile differences. Cary’s apprehensions about LeeAnne grow at a gothic-themed party featuring corn dogs and Frito pie.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were seen tonight as they headed off to the Vogue 100 Gala Dinner in London. On first glance I thought Kim’s dress was just a nude color with some black lace overlay (and a really ugly belt that doesn’t seem to go with the dress), but once I downloaded the full picture, I see that it’s nearly 100% see-through. We may never get to see what the future held for Callie Torres and Arizona Robbins after the latter set aside her custody battle win to show a little kindness to the former in the Grey's...The Real Housewives of Orange County is back! Bravo has kept us in suspense for long enough and is now revealing the season 11 premiere date: June 20th!
The network just announced the news that Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Judge, Heather Dubrow, Shannon Beador, and Meghan King Edmonds will return for the show’s 11th season and joining them is newbie Kelly Dodd. They also released our first sneak peek of the upcoming season and it looks like a hell of a ride! We can’t wait!
Ahead of the premiere, they’ll be airing “The Real Housewives of Orange County Uncensored” on Monday, June 13.
The official press release and cast pics were released this afternoon, too. Sadly, they recycled last year’s photos and just Photoshopped Kelly Dodd into the cast pic and Photoshopped new backgrounds on the other cast pics. I can’t fully explain it, but it’s one of my biggest pet peeves when it comes the Real Housewives franchise! Give us new photos to look at, damn it!

NEW YORK – May 23, 2016 – Bravo Media’s original series that started the hit franchise “The Real Housewives of Orange County” is back for season 11 on Monday, June 20 at 9 pm ET/PT. The OG of the OC, Vicki Gunvalson, returns along with Tamra Judge, Heather Dubrow, Shannon Beador and Meghan King Edmonds. This season, friendships are tested, forgiveness is earned, and alliances turn, when a new bold and brash housewife, Kelly Dodd, makes more waves than a hurricane. Season ten of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” averaged 2.9 million total viewers, making it the most-watched season in series history, according to Nielsen Live+7 data.
Last season left Vicki on the outs with the ladies, but with Brooks finally out of the picture; she tries to get her friendships back on track and helps her daughter Briana move back to Orange County. As Tamra gets ripped for a fitness competition, her son Ryan’s relationship with baby mama Sarah is ripped apart. Heather’s mega mansion is way behind schedule as she finds herself in single mom territory as Terry works more than ever. Shannon and David find their marriage rekindled and renewed but the stress of selling their house and moving into a new one threatens to throw her into a downward spiral. Step-mom Meghan is ready to take the leap to biological motherhood when she tries IVF to get pregnant, but is frustrated that her baseball husband, Jimmy Edmonds, might not be as hands-on as she would like.
Meet the new housewife:
Fearless and confident Kelly Dodd has a mouth as big as her heart. Originally hailing from Arizona, her fiery Latin lineage and unfiltered opinions definitely bring the heat to the OC. With a penchant for gossip and drinking champagne, there is never a dull moment around her. After a rocky period in her marriage, she recently reconciled with her husband Michael, who cashed out of major tech toy company and is now home and always underfoot. Family is what’s most important to this stay-at-home mom, who shares her 4-story oceanfront mansion with 9-year old daughter Jolie, her younger brother Eric and her mom Bobbi. Among the ladies, Kelly finds herself in hot water when she befriends outcast Vicki despite warnings from her bestie Meghan.

Let’s hope Amber Portwood is a lot better at paying child support than her fiance Matt Baier, because her ex Gary Shirley was awarded primary physical custody of their 7-year-old daughter BooBoo Leah!
The Teen Mom OG stars have been battling out a custody agreement for years, and recently Amber claimed they were in a good place and agreed upon joint custody. Or not!

Amber initially lost custody of Leah when she went to prison in 2011, but after her release and upon getting clean and sober, Amber and Gary have been in and out of court as their child support battle waged on with both seeking primary physical custody.
TMZ reports that Amber found herself on the losing end of this fight and the Indiana courts determined that Gary would retain primary physical custody so Amber is required to pay him $1,200 per month in child support. Considering how much these Teen Mom stars earn, I’d say Amber got pretty lucky.
Amber certainly is dealing with the courts a lot lately … and none of it good news!
Apparently both Gary and Amber are at peace with the decision, and claim they are ready to put the drama behind them to “properly co-parent” Leah from the couch.

The network has finally heard my prayers. Thank you, TLC, for only subjecting us to an hour of Sister Wives last night. It’s much more fun to watch when I don’t have to see the same story dragging on for two hours on a Sunday. Plus, Kody Brown’s hair is so special and magical, it doesn’t need to risk overexposure to the fans. Same goes for Meri’s catfishing wet bar!
The Browns are expecting seventy people for Thanksgiving–you know that means! It’s a reason for a party! Janelle and Meri will be decorating for the holiday after a successful first counseling session, and Christine and Robyn plan to sit back and stay out of the way. Christine is actually less annoying and completely reasonable this season. Who knew that would happen?

As Meri reflects on her therapy session with Janelle, she cites the two have a working sister wives relationship but no real friendship. She’s not sure how long that will take to change, or if the two will ever actually be friends. To me, she doesn’t seem to care. Meanwhile, Kody is recycling the lights from their commitment ceremony to surprise Hunter when he comes home for the holiday. He’s been away the longest, and it’s been five months since he’s been hanging out on the cul-de-sac compound. Funny how editing works, isn’t it? Hunter was just on last week’s episode when his brother decided to join the National Guard.
Christine notes that they are putting in extra emphasis on Thanksgiving this year because everyone will be able to attend. They’re not sure if the entire family will be able to come home for Christmas this year. Kody thinks it will only take him three hours to hang the lights, but his sister wives have a pool going. Christine is betting on nine hours, and Janelle believes it’s going to take at least a couple of days. Speaking of Janelle, she heads to to Meri’s to begin planning for the Thanksgiving decorations. Upon arriving to Meri’s House of Crafts, Janelle realizes that the planning has been completed, and Meri is in full decoration creation mode. She’s taken over everything, and Janelle is disappointed that she didn’t have any input.
Christine is beyond excited to help Kody hang the lights, and she knows that Hunter is going to be thrilled to see the finished product. He recognizes the importance of family now that he is away at Air Force Academy prep school. Kody is scaling buildings and teetering on ladders to get the cables up, but because the lines are so tangled, they have to put the project on hold when night falls. So far, Janelle seems on target to win the pool…
The following day, Meri brings over boxes and boxes of crafting supplies to Janelle’s house. Janelle has spray-painted some cans for the centerpieces, and Meri bites her tongue when she sees the crappy, sloppy job her sister wife has done. However, staying silent is a major win for Meri as she’d normally call out Janelle for such an infraction. Janelle is also struggling because she feels that she is being told what to do instead of included in the decision-making process. She’s moping about the prospect of gluing seventy (that’s SEVEN-ZERO, people!) napkin rings.
The wind is causing Christine and Kody’s project to be more difficult than anticipated. I wonder how much life insurance is on Kody and who the beneficiaries are. He’s balancing on the tip top of the ladder as Christine braces it against the wind. One false move and he’s going to face plant right smack dab in the middle of the cul-de-sac compound. Christine is glad that she’s the only wife watching this because she knows that others would make sure he stopped immediately. She doesn’t get freaked out when Kody risks his life in the name of a family celebration. Perhaps we know who may stand to gain the most if he kicks the bucket.
Meri and Janelle have enlisted some of the children to help with the decorations, and the group has a good laugh over Janelle ordering new Christmas stockings for herself and her kids. She’s even remembered the family dog and got a stocking for Logan’s girlfriend of nine months. Is there anyone Janelle could possibly be missing? Kody feigns anger, but he knows this is how it goes in a plural marriage. Plus, he doesn’t care as he’s too busy spending time with his real wife, Robyn. She’s got the most amazing idea to split Solomon’s bedroom in half (right down to the curtains) to create a blue, big boy room on one side, and a girly pink nursery on the other. The sister wives are also split as to whether they think it looks good.
Hunter returns home that evening, and upon his arrival he is mobbed by all of his siblings. It’s an emotional time for Janelle and Hunter is excited to meet his sister’s fiance for the first time. Kody sneaks out to light up the cul-de-sac compound, but he’s disappointed at the underwhelming response his lights received. There’s always the next commitment ceremony! The Thanksgiving feast is taking place at Christine’s house. The older boys and moved all her furniture and move in cafeteria style tables. They have thirty pounds of potatoes and fifty pounds of turkey. Meri opts for three long banquet style seating instead of Kody’s requested seven smaller tables. When Kody voices his (always correct) opinion, Meri blames the change on Christine who is happy to take the blame. She finds this seating more elegant anyway, and her happy pills are so good, she can’t be mad at Meri, and Kody can’t get mad at her. It’s a win-win!
