Season 8 has been an interesting watch, as it features a new cast of couples, and new countries. While some of the couples on Season 8 have a lot of potential, other relationships are struggling. Many things could happen on Season 8, but we have several predictions for how things could continue to unfold based on what has happened so far.

Forrest Atwood McKenzie and Sheena have been one of the strongest couples on Season 8. The two have been together for seven years and are just as in love as they were when they met. While they’ve had some troubles regarding family and finances, they’ve been able to swiftly overcome them. Forrest and Sheena have a stronger bond than the majority of other couples this season, and are the most likely to have a long-lasting relationship.

Recently, Forrest confessed to his mother Molly, that he felt ready to propose to Sheena. While Molly was hesitant, Forrest seemed set on the plan. After seven years together, it would make sense for Forrest and Sheena to get engaged sooner rather than later. If Forrest proposes to Sheena, it’s almost certain that she would say yes. While there likely won’t be many proposals this season, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Forrest and Sheena get engaged before he leaves the Philippines.

Laura Nevenner might leave Birkan for Michal

Laura Nevenner and Birkan have been an interesting couple to watch on Season 8. After meeting on Snapchat, Laura fell for Birkan. She eventually decided to fly to Turkey and meet him; however, she had a few doubts. One obstacle in the way was her best friend, Michal, whom she was convinced had developed romantic feelings for her. Laura had previously had feelings for Michal, but decided to move on when she felt they weren’t reciprocated. 

So far, Laura and Birkan have gotten along well. While things were a bit awkward at first, their romantic chemistry has been growing. Nonetheless, Laura has concerns about Birkan due to his debts and gambling habits. The Season 8 midseason trailer shows Michal coming to visit Laura and Birkan in Turkey, which the latter isn’t thrilled about. It’s possible that Michal may make the trip to confess his feelings to Laura before it’s too late. If he does, there’s a chance she may decide to leave Birkan to be with him.

Emma Perry and Ziad El Yahyaoui will probably break up

Emma Perry and Ziad El Yahyaoui have been a tumultuous couple on Season 8. From the moment they first met face to face in Morocco, it was evident that their connection in person didn’t match up to what it was online. Emma continued to hope for the best, but Ziad failed to match her enthusiasm. 

One of the things that has caused Ziad to doubt the relationship is his fear that Emma is hiding things. He’s correct, as Emma hadn’t told him that she was previously engaged to another Moroccan man. Emma finally decided to come clean on her birthday excursion to the desert, but the episode cut before viewers could see Ziad’s reaction. However, he didn’t look happy, and the midseason trailer teases Emma meeting up with her ex. This strongly suggests that she and Ziad broke up, likely in part because of her secret. 

Lisa and Daniel will likely split as well

Another couple who will likely break up before the end of the season is Lisa and Daniel. Lisa flew to Nigeria to meet Daniel after the two connected online; however, she’s hiding some big secrets. She hasn’t told him that she’s been married five times, and that she’s still married. Lisa also lied to Daniel about her history of being with women, after he reacted poorly to her admitting to a brief fling with a woman. In addition to Lisa’s lies, Daniel hasn’t been honest about speaking to other American women in the past. 

While Daniel has already proposed to Lisa, it’s possible that he could end the engagement once he finds out the truth. The midseason trailer reveals Lisa coming clean to Daniel, which he doesn’t appear to take well. Lisa and Daniel haven’t been compatible from the jump, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if their relationship doesn’t last long.

Summer House fans are seeing Kyle and Amanda’s relationship devolve in the newest season of the show. During Episode 3 of Season 10, Amanda gave her honest take on Kyle’s infidelity rumors when a producer asked her point-blank if she thinks he cheated on her again.

“I don’t know,” Amanda answered. That right there is a huge red flag. “I’d like to think not, but he has in the past. And I know there have been plenty of rumors about it. So who knows? Only Kyle.”

It’s a pragmatic answer because, despite Amanda wanting the relationship to work, there just seem to be too many reasons it won’t. The season was filmed approximately six months prior to the couple’s separation announcement, but even then, the writing was on the wall.

Kyle brought up that Amanda knew he was a very “social person” when they got engaged. Her response was that she didn’t realize the “‘social person’ meant cheating.” Fair point. And she’s not coming from nowhere. A flashback in the show revealed how Kyle previously cheated on Amanda. He promised he wouldn’t do it again.

“Every time you go out, I get DMs telling me that you were up to something suspicious,” Amanda said. “I don’t even bring them up to you anymore, because it’s just constant.” Hand-in-hand with the cheating is Amanda’s issues with Kyle’s drinking (because, let’s face it, alcohol hardly ever leads to good decision-making.) 

For his part, Kyle said he felt that Amanda has also changed since they married and that she doesn’t want the same things he does. 

Summer House airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo. It can be streamed on Peacock the next day.

Things are heating up in the courtroom between Marciano Brunette from Vanderpump Villa and Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Demi Engemann. He sued her for defamation after she accused him of sexual misconduct. Now, she just hit back at his lawsuit, claiming that he’s infringing on her First Amendment rights, and she wants a judge to toss out the entire case.

As a reminder, Demi first accused Marciano after a 2024 crossover between Vanderpump Villa and SLOMW. She claimed that he touched her without consent and then went on to call him a “sexual predator.”

Meanwhile, Marciano’s defamation lawsuit accused her of using him “as her storyline.” He said that she “reframed the obviously consensual interaction as one of sexual misconduct and then as sexual assault.”

Marciano filed his defamation lawsuit in December 2025, but in new legal docs reviewed by TMZ, Demi hit back, calling his lawsuit a “sham.” According to Demi and her legal team, Marciano isn’t trying to get justice for defamation. He’s trying to get even.

Demi asked a judge to dismiss Marciano’s lawsuit, claiming that he filed it “solely to gain media attention.” She goes on to accuse the Vanderpump Villa star of wanting to “punish” her for “exercising her First Amendment right to speak out concerning [Marciano’s] misconduct.”

On top of Demi’s latest claims, she also tried to paint Marciano as a serial predator. She said that he was “proud” of his bedroom reputation and bragged about how his employers had to enact a “special policy prohibiting him from sleeping with other employees.” She also claimed that Marciano told her he “slept with an ‘extraordinary’ number of employees.”

At the moment, a judge has yet to rule on any of this. Stay tuned to see if Demi can manage to get the defamation lawsuit dismissed.

In 2024, Sweeney joined SSU, appearing as Julia Cornwall in Madame Web alongside Dakota Johnson’s Cassandra “Cassie” Webb. While the movie bombed at the box office, Sweeney hadn’t given up hope on her return. She had earlier expressed her desire to work alongside Zendaya in the Spider-Man universe in an interview with ComicBook.com.

In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Kimberly Van Der Beek revealed that she and her husband, James Van Der Beek, renewed their vows just days before he passed away on February 11. The late Dawson’s Creek star had been battling colorectal cancer since 2023 and was just 48 years old at the time of his death.

“We decided two days beforehand and our friends got us new rings, filled our bedroom with flowers and candles and we renewed our vows from bed,” Kimberly shared. She described the ceremony as “simple and beautiful and moving,” with the couple’s family and closest friends in attendance. One of them was the popular multi-instrumentalist Poranguí, who performed the “most beautiful music” at the ceremony, playing a rendition of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”

Kimberly announced the death of her husband in an emotional Instagram post on February 11. “Our beloved James David Van Der Beek passed peacefully this morning,” she penned. “He met his final days with courage, faith, and grace. There is much to share regarding his wishes, love for humanity, and the sacredness of time. Those days will come. For now we ask for peaceful privacy as we grieve our loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend,” Kimberly further wrote.

Notably, James Van Der Beek and Kimberly first met in 2009 during a trip to Israel. They tied the knot on August 1, 2010, in an intimate wedding ceremony in Tel Aviv. The couple shares six children, daughters Olivia, Annabel, Gwendolyn, and Emilia, and sons Joshua and Jeremiah.

Priyanka Chopra attended the Los Angeles premiere of her upcoming movie, “The Bluff,” held at the TCL Chinese Theatre on February 17. For the star-studded event, she decided to honor her character Ercell ‘Bloody Mary’ Bodden through her fashion choice. The armor-inspired, sculpted, leather-like corset at the center of her outfit was part of Bloody Mary’s costume. The cuirass design featured moulded detailing that gave it a powerful, battle-ready edge while still highlighting her silhouette.

Antoinette Messam, who worked as the costume designer on “The Bluff,” posted an Instagram reel featuring Chopra’s look at the premiere. In the caption, Messam wrote, “Still in awe. When @priyankachopra chose to wear the cuirass from her hero ‘Bloody Mary’ costume to the The Bluff premiere, my heart was full. Such a #ProudAunty moment. Thank you, Priyanka, this reminded me why I love what I do.”

Instead of pairing the top with a form-fitting bottom, Chopra added contrast to her look. She wore a flowing, draped miniskirt in the same rich brown tone as her top. Crafted from whisper-light layers of soft tulle, the gown floated around her frame with an almost weightless quality. The structured bodice hugged her bust before cascading into a flowing, floor-grazing skirt. The airy fabric added movement and romance to the look.

The dress hung from her shoulders with two thin straps, and its transparency revealed the matching Givenchy briefs she was wearing underneath. There was also a keyhole cutout at the front center of the bodice.
