Andy Cohen Shares Why Real Housewives Of New York & Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills Won’t Premiere Early Despite Coronavirus Quarantine

During the coronavirus outbreak, some Bravo stars have stepped up to help others. Real Housewives of New York alum Bethenny Frankel donated corona kits and 10,000 face masks. Real Housewives of Dallas star Stephanie Hollman’s spouse, Travis Hollman, decided to pay all of his employees their salaries, while they’re are quarantined at home.

Teddi Mellencamp, who is a cast member on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, has pledged to help keep fans accountable by offering free online workouts. If I worked out regularly, that would be fantastic!

While so many of us are self-isolating or quarantined at home, it seems like an eternity until RHOBH and RHONY drop new seasons. Season 12 of RHONY debuts on April 2. On April 15, Season 10 of RHOBH premieres. Fans feel some new Housewives episodes would help relieve their boredom will be disappointed. According to Yahoo Entertainment, Bravo’s Andy Cohen addressed the possibility on Sirius XM’s Reality Checked with Amy Phillips. Unfortunately, the shows won’t begin airing early.

“The issue is there’s only a certain number of episodes totally color-corrected and locked right now, for both of those shows. I think for RHONY there’s like, eight or nine done and for RHOBH, there’s like, five done. Something like that,” Andy explained.  Andy also revealed the production companies are editing the shows remotely. But if they are edited that way, Andy said it is “slower” and “more labor intensive.”

Andy shared, “If we released all those now, we would wind up screwing ourselves in the end, so that’s the issue. The truth of the matter is, if this [coronavirus crisis] is going to go on for a while, just think of how much more we’re going to be ready for RHONY when it premieres!” Andy said.

Real Housewives of Atlanta fans know that the Season 12 reunion was postponed because of the coronavirus outbreak.

“Obviously that’s not happening. Hopefully we will be able to shoot it just as soon as we possibly can,” Andy said. “People are saying, ‘Why don’t you just do it remotely?’ I don’t think it would work well. I don’t think that’s a good idea.” Same, Andy. Same. Can you imagine all the screaming without Andy there to wrangle the RHOA ladies? Andy also said that while the new season of RHOA was still in the editing phase, they were “really behind.”

Unfortunately, Andy knows a bit about Covid-19. He was scheduled to begin streaming Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen from his apartment on March 22. Andy posted the news on Instagram that he had tested positive for coronavirus.

“After a few days of self-quarantine, and not feeling great, I have tested positive for Coronavirus. As much as I felt like I could push through whatever I was feeling to do #WWHL from home, we’re putting a pin in that for now so I can focus on getting better,” Andy wrote. The Bravo host added, “I want to thank all the medical professionals who are working tirelessly for all of us and urge everybody to stay home and take care of themselves.”

90 Day Fiance Before The 90 Days Recap: Our Lips Are Sealed

Last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance Before The 90 Days was full of DRAMA! There were so many confrontations that my head is spinning just from all the second-hand anger. I had to have a cocktail just to ease my nerves after all the yelling. The circus was definitely in town and these couples were the performers. I can’t complain, this reality gem was just what I needed to distract my mind from the current circumstances around the world.

Avery Warner finally meets Ash Naeck ’s skeptical brother. Ed Brown makes a shocking request of Rose. Geoffrey Paschel ’s biggest fear about Varya Malina’ comes true. Lisa Hamme  reaches a boiling point in Nigeria. Yolanda Leak hopes she isn’t making a mistake. Let’s get straight into the 90 Day Fiance Before the 90 Days recap!

Avery, 32 (Seattle) & Ash, 38 (Australia)

Obviously, Avery’s resolve didn’t last long. Instead of sleeping in separate rooms, she wakes up naked with Ash. Later that morning, she inquires about why Ash’s brother didn’t want her to stay at their house. He shrugs off her concerns as his brother only wanting to be comfortable in his own home, since he doesn’t know her yet. Personally, I wouldn’t want his internet love to stay at my house either, her first visit.

Avery finally meets Ash’s judgmental brother. It is evident that he doesn’t approve of Avery and her influence on his brother. He was shocked when Ash ordered a cocktail when he doesn’t normally drink. He wastes no time inquiring about their relationship and how they intend to make a long-distance relationship work. Ash’s brother tells them there is a series of issues with their relationship and they may need to drink more alcohol to deal with it. LMAO!

Ed, 54 (San Diego) & Rosemarie, 23 (Philippines)

 

Feeling bad about his behavior at the market, Ed treats Rose to a manicure and pedicure.  While there, he discovers she may have lied about having met other men on social media. He becomes instantly frustrated when Rose continues to dodge questions about her past. He is worried that she is only using him for a way to America. Sounds about right to me!

Ed takes Rose to dinner where he drops a bomb on her. He isn’t comfortable with her mysterious past so he wants her to agree to take an STD test. Of course, this doesn’t go over well and Rose is extremely offended. She asks Ed to take a test with her, but he declines because he doesn’t feel comfortable taking the test outside of the United States.

After a heated exchange, Ed walks away and Rose is left crying at the table. I don’t blame Ed since Rose is clearly hiding something.  But it would only be fair to take a test at the same time.  Especially if Ed anticipates them having sex during the trip, if her test comes back negative.

Rose meets Ed outside the restaurant and releases a tirade of broken English on him. She is furious he would infer that she is a “nasty woman.” He tries to explain that he isn’t comfortable not knowing anything about her child’s father or any other men. Rose finally shares some details of her life, but she is so upset she asks Ed to get her own hotel room.  Well, that went well.  I don’t know if it’s their cultural differences or the way Ed explained things, but I don’t think an STD test is unreasonable.

Lisa, 52 (York, Pa.) & Usman “SojaBoy,” 30 (Nigeria)

Lisa is excited to finally see Usman perform the song he supposedly wrote for her at his premiere party. When Usman surprises her with a visit to the studio where he created the song, things get awkward when she meets the video director. Apparently, Lisa is still angry that a model that looks nothing like her was used in the video. The director is annoyed that she forced Usman to change so many elements of his original vision. He is so frustrated he doesn’t even want the credit for the video anymore. I can’t wait to see this new music video directed by Lisa’s insecurity.

Usman introduces Lisa to his friend, Abba, who also in the music industry. Abba is shocked when he finds out that Usman was forced to remove all the scenes that featured the model in his video. His friend flat out asks Lisa if she is trying to destroy his music career. She is infuriated by the question and accuses her ‘Baby Love’ of allowing his friend to disrespect her. Whew, chile. Usman is really making an effort, but she HAS to be weighing on his patience. He must really want this visa if he’s willing to deal with this woman.

 

Stephanie, 29 (New York) & Erika, 24 (Australia)

After 3 separate flights and 30 hours, Stephanie Matto has finally arrived in Australia. The pair shares an emotional hello at the airport. Although both women are genuinely excited, Stephanie is already nervous about whether she will measure up sexually for Erika Owens.

After risking her health to get to Australia, sex should be the least of her concerns. Girl, have a cocktail and loosen up!

David, 60 (Nevada) & Lana, 27 (Ukraine)

Sigh! Poor David is still under the impression that he will finally meet his Ukrainian love. Before his trip, he visits a jewelry store to get a fake an engagement ring. The way the jeweler looked at him when he asked for cubic zirconia because it was “shiny” was priceless. Sometimes I can’t believe people like this exist, but then I remember they serve a purse, my entertainment is shows like this.

David has arrived in the Ukraine, but instead of meeting his ‘girlfriend’ Lana, his friend Anya meets him at the airport. The two met 12 years ago on a dating website and when there was no romantic connection, they remained friends. Anya is just as suspicious as the rest of us about Lana’s existence intentions. Umm… did anyone else notice the rolls of toilet tissue in David’s suitcase when he was unpacking at the hotel?

Yolanda, 51 (Las Vegas, NV) & Williams, 40 (England)

Yolanda finally gets in contact with Williams after his Instagram mysteriously disappeared. It’s so sad that this woman is so excited for a man just to text her.  She still plans to travel to England, despite all of the sketchy details of their relationship. While shopping with one of her skeptical friends, she says she is willing to give Williams the benefit of the doubt. It’s obvious Yolanda is yearning for any type of male attention after the death of her husband.

Geoffrey, 41 (Knoxville, Tenn.) & Varya, 30 (Russia)

Varya takes Geoffrey to a beautiful outdoor setting after an uncomfortable night in her unfinished home. He immediately confronts her about if she is using him as an opportunity to come to the U.S. She asks him to trust her intentions are real when confronted with his suspicions. Geoffrey agrees to trust her and move forward. I’m not sure why she told him he was her opportunity to leave Russia the night before.

Varya introduces Geoffrey to several of her friends over lunch. They ask several questions about his intentions with Varya. Geoffrey becomes frustrated when he is asked if he has any secrets. Of course, he is sweating bullets because he hasn’t revealed his criminal past yet. One friend even warns him that Varya was with another American man before him.  This only seems to validate his worst fear and begins yelling at Varya in the restaurant. It’s extremely hypocritical that he wants full disclosure from her, but hasn’t told her about his stint in prison.

Love Is Blind Producer Claims Kenny Barnes Backtracked To Save Face After Kelly Chase Dumped Him; Promises Kenny Would Have Said “I Do” If Kelly Did

It was pretty shocking on the Love is Blind finale when Kelly Chase ditched Kenny Barnes at the altar. Sure, we didn’t see a ton of their relationship. However, their families really hit it off and most fans assumed they didn’t get much screentime because they had such a solid relationship.

After the show aired, and the cast was allowed to do press, the former couple claimed that they planned to break up at the altar with the intention to date after. Allegedly, they wanted to still be together, but didn’t want to get married after knowing each other for a month. Understandable. However, one of the Love Is Blind producers has a totally different perspective on Kenny and Kelly.

In an interview with Metro, producer Chris Coelen insisted that no one had to go through with the wedding unless they wanted to. It sure didn’t seem that way, as a viewer, to be honest. He told the website, “We don’t have to legislate what that is. If Jessica [Batten], for instance, had decided not to go through with the wedding, she didn’t have to. She took off her ring during the experiment. Nobody made her do that, nobody told her to put it back on. That was her decision.”

Then, he shaded Kenny and Kelly for never consummating their engagement. The producer said, “Nobody told anybody they had to sleep together, they did. Ultimately Kenny and Kelly did not.” Oh, we know. Poor, Kenny. He really seemed heartbroken during that finale.

Chris continued, “We really want to see their authentic journey, and I think you see the real emotion from both Kenny and Kelly when you watch the show. You see their genuine emotion.”

So what about the claims that they planned to break up and that Kenny wasn’t actually blindsided by Kelly’s decision to split during their wedding ceremony? The producer said, “I think that people like to sometimes engage in revision of history because they feel embarrassed or conflicted. They want to save face, or whatever. [They say], ‘No, it didn’t mean anything to me.'” That’s definitely possible.

The producer doubled down with his theory. He even claimed, “I know for a fact that Kenny would have said ‘I do’ if Kelly had said ‘I do,’ on that day. I know, because I was there, that Kenny was extremely upset, as you see on the show.” We sure did.

Vanderpump Rules Fans Request Money From Scheana Marie In Response To Coronavirus Outbreak

There’s no doubt about it: this Coronavirus outbreak is difficult for all of us. We have all adjusted our lives in response to this pandemic. Many people are even struggling financially after so many business closures.

Some of those people have hit up Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Marie for money. No, not her friends or family members. People who do not even know her have been sending her Venmo requests for cash.

Scheana addressed these requests in a series of tweets. The Pump Rules OG tweeted, “This is a crazy time! But PLEASE you guys, stop asking me for $ on @venmo. It makes me feel terrible reading your stories of why you need $$ and I am not rich! I support my family and have a ton of friends in the same situation right now. I wish I could help everyone but I can’t.”

Scheana continued, “My dad is still doing hard labor working full time during this pandemic. My mom does more than I could ever ask her for and who the hell wouldn’t want their mom to be able to help them full time w work. PLEASE stop asking me for $$. I can not afford to save the [world].” It should also be noted that Scheana included an eye roll emoji at the end of that tweet.

In response to a fan who asked Scheana, “Why even feel the need to justify yourself,” Scheana tweeted, “Bc I’m a very compassionate person and if I was rich, I would answer every Venmo and pay all of my friends’ rent who are out of a job. But I’m not and I can’t. It makes me sad to see how many are struggling but I am too! I don’t make nearly as much as y’all think & i have BILLS!”

While there were lots of people who supported Scheana, there were also some who questioned her wealth. Scheana clapped back with “I’m sorry, but do you know how much/little $$ I make or bills I have or HOW MANY people and charities I already help? No. I’ve been asked for up to $700 to “pay tuition”. Am I really supposed to even believe these requests? My heart goes out to those hurting, but I just can’t.”

There was even one Vanderpump Rules historian who recalled the time Scheana bought a penguin, hoping to get a boyfriend in return. Someone tweeted, “You spent $3k on a penguin.” And Scheana clarified, “It was $1k two years ago and a donation.” Yikes

Jules Wainstein Begs Judge To See Her Kids; Michael Wainstein Wants Her Drug Tested

The legal drama continues for Real Housewives of New York alum Jules Wainstein. Last month, Jules was booked for battery in Palm Beach, Florida. She allegedly attacked her ex Michael Wainstein, in front of their two children.

As a result, the kids were released into Michael’s custody. He currently has a protective order against Jules.

Daily Mail has reported that Jules asked a Florida judge to let her see her kids. They have a son named Jagger, who is nine, and a daughter Rio, who is seven. Further complicating this situation, Jules claims that she was awarded sole custody by a judge in New York City. She wants this decision to be reflected in the response of her Florida drama.

It gets worse though. Michael says that Jules has a history of drug addiction. Michael claimed that their son Jagger saw Jules “pop a pill” right before their alleged incident in February. She reportedly punched him the face during a “heated custody exchange.”

According to an article from TMZ, Michael asked the judge for Jules to submit hair follicles instead of doing a urine test because a hair follicle test can detect drug use over a much longer period of time.

He’s also accused her of assaulting him while they were in New York and being “visibly high on cocaine.”

Real Housewives Of Atlanta Recap: Lo-Down Throw Down

What an epic fail that we had the Real Housewives Of Atlanta visit Lindsay Lohan‘s beach club and we don’t get a Lohan sighting or any of the requisite drama?! Instead, we had to pretend that Dina Lohan is some famous friend of Kandi Burruss‘ and the ladies were doing Dina a favor by visiting her daughter’s little beachside bar. But a Lohan was not present. Nor was there a mention of Lindsay’s failed reality show.

So the women are in Greece trying to figure out how goddesses behave. In fairness to NeNe Leakes and Kenya Moore, the original Greek goddesses were a pretty vengeful and petty bunch, ergo probably not above spitting or questioning the moistness level of one’s kitty. Still Nene Leakes is no goddess, and as a mortal her behavior was APPALLING.

Yes, Kenya is a shady bitch who’s nasty-nice and pushes buttons that are way below the belt, but spitting on someone and threatening to assault them as NeNe was doing – NEWP, NEWP, NEWP!

Cynthia Bailey and Marlo Hampton struggled – and failed – to get NeNe under control but she escaped them, like a wild beast, and fled off into the night. Counselor Porsha Williams, imported here from the strip mall plaza near Dennis‘ hotdog stand (and frantically reading therapy.org to try to effectively mediate a crisis), asks Kenya why she has such anger towards NeNe. It all goes back to that time NeNe called Kenya’s unborn child a “buffalo”.

According to Dr. Porsha, if she can forgive NeNe for calling her a fat pig while she was pregnant and postpartum, Kenya can get over NeNe calling her, not her baby, a buffalo. NO, NO ONE should get over that. NO ONE should re-enter into a friendship with someone who compares another pregnant woman large livestock. Porsha needs to abandon counseling until she goes back to undergrad for Women’s Studies 101.

Marlo finally corrals NeNe back to the table where NeNe decides to shout an insincere apology to Kenya for calling her a buffalo. She would never insult a child, btw. Also, she wouldn’t ever hurt a woman, so she didn’t mean it when she said that. Of course not! Kenya, rightfully, does not accept. Even with all the other women trying to force her to. That was the most BS apology ever. And Kenya knows a BS apology, given the amount of them she’s given out herself.

Despite all of this, Kandi tries to get everyone back on track with the burn party and Porsha passes the crowns to Marlo, who passes one right back to Kenya to complain about the wig party. Kenya refuses to apologize citing an age-old argument where Marlo insulted Kenya’s mom. Your mama!

The whole confrontation with Marlo is just too much for Kenya who takes off. Kandi chases after her begging Kenya to stay and stand her ground (Why?). Kenya is so mad that when Kandi tries to give her a hug, Kenya shoves her. I don’t blame Kenya for running. All these women know she’s getting a divorce, which doesn’t excuse Kenya’s actions, but gives some context to her emotional state.

NeNe pretended to be compassionate for one day but when Kenya wouldn’t play into her Big Sis schemes, she turned vicious quick. Kenya is no angel either. She’s throwing Cynthia – one of the only people who support her – under the bus by insulting her business!

The next morning Kandi and Cynthia join Kenya for a debrief while NeNe meets up with Porsha and Tanya Sam. There is no way, no how Kenya will ever give NeNe another chance and she has no desire to get over the things that were said, especially all the insults about how she can’t keep a man. Even when Kandi points out that she got over Porsha accusing her of rape, Kenya won’t budge. A leopard lunch doesn’t change its spots!

Meanwhile, Porsha and Tanya defend NeNe for supposedly calling Kenya a buffalo, not her baby! Um, ladies – no do not defend her. She’s indefensible. No one can get over how Kenya refused to apologize to Marlo especially when she’s so oversensitive about her own business. Kenya is a hypocrite. Duh. Also, boy did Porsha fully forgive NeNe – she went from barely speaking to her to defending her to Kenya. Um…

Why everyone thinks NeNe and Kenya should make amends is beyond me? Not everyone can be friends, y’all!

Everyone is tired and just wants to have fun on their last day in Greece, so they tuck their differences away, put on their swimwear and Golden Girls caftans to hit the Lohan Beach Club where everyone else is approximately 25 and probably passed out drunk, which explains why the place was completely empty. I must say there was some fabulous swim attire among the Real Housewives Of Atlanta! Except for NeNe’s. Of course, her boobs kept popping out. For all NeNe’s money, plus owning a boutique, why can she never find things to properly fit?!

Kandi, playing ringmaster, announces that they’ll all be competing in pairs and she’ll be assigning the duos. Cynthia gets paired up with Marlo; Porsha and NeNe, and lastly, Tanya and Kenya. Those two are competitive as hell, and are easily able to put their differences aside for the sake of winning. And win they do!

Meanwhile, the other ladies are a mess. Porsha and NeNe do OK in the first challenge, but the second one, where the teammates have to be stuck together and move as one unit, is a failure when they both plop down in the surf trying to fill a water cup. Marlo and Cynthia can’t even get past the first round which is a super simple obstacle course where you partner directs you what to do. Which means neither one of them would pass kindergarten PE class.

After that, it’s shopping for goddess attire then back to the villa for a goddess party final dinner and a little surprise. Before the party, Kandi pulls Cynthia aside and proposes a little dinner theater in the form of a Greek Tragedy. The twist is that the tragedy is Kenya and NeNe’s failed friendship. Kandi will play Kenya and Cynthia will play the role of NeNe. And she knows NeNe’s antics so well this should be Emmy-worthy!

Kandi claims the goal will be to show how their own stubbornness is preventing them from moving forward. Cynthia seems skeptical but she wants to add actress to her resume, so she goes along with it. Kandi is already rehearsing for The Chi and now considers herself ‘method.’

But seriously Kandi had to know that neither one of these women was in the mood for a PBS After School Special about getting along and finding common ground. This relationship is beyond repair and that’s fine. Kenya and NeNe both take themselves waaaaaaaay, waaaaaaay too seriously, so there’s no way they’ll ever meet in the middle.

After the women fend off stray cats trying to eat their dinner and choose their goddess names, it’s back to fending off each other. Kandi announces that she and Cynthia have a little after dinner theater show. When NeNe learns the plan she immediately sours and pretends she needs to use the restroom. Marlo suggests it’s number 2, but Porsha figures it’s Number 3 – go straight to Atlanta.

The producers actually try to stop NeNe at the door, predicting she’s planning to vacate the party and hole up in her room for the duration of the night. And that is definitely the plan! NeNe is so uptight.

Kenya is also clearly annoyed and not particularly into the prank, but puts on a stiff upper lip and at least pretends to go along with it. Luckily she and all the women are saved by NeNe’s tantrum, because without half of the guests of honor, there’s no point in putting on the performance. Cynthia’s Broadway debut canceled. Oh, well, there’s always Chicago! Eventually, the women trickle off to bed to pack and prepare for the long trek back to Atlanta. And Kenya to confront the inevitable of her marriage being over.

They came all across the ocean and instead of resolving anything, their problems just got worse. Like the tides and NeNe’s hair dos, up and down, everything constantly goes.
