Lala Kent Confirms Vanderpump Rules Started Filming Without Her; Wants To Costar With Lisa Vanderpump On Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
At this point, I’ve come to terms with the fact that I will be perpetually confused by Lala Kent and her status on Vanderpump Rules. One second she’s storming away from the show and avoiding everyone, then she’s coming back to play the anxiety card.
Lala is besties with Scheana Marie and Ariana Madix now, so I figured that she would be back for some girl drama next season, but apparently I was wrong. Just like everything Lala says, I take this with a grain of salt and know that her status on the show can change at any moment, but apparently she’s not going to be a part of the next Pump Rules season.

In an interview with ET Online, Lala confirmed, “They started [filming] today. And I’m here, so that tells you what you need to know, I guess.”
Yeah, but that doesn’t really mean anything. Just because Lala missed the first day, it doesn’t mean that she is definitely gone. You can’t count her out. I guess it depends what else they have to talk about. If they need to resort to talking shit about Lala for a story line (again), I’m sure she will return.
Lala makes it seem like it was her decision to not be on this show. Obviously I find that hard to believe, but anyway, Lala maintains, “I flip flop back and forth.” Personally, I want her back on the show, but then again, I love the drama. I’m just so done with the secret boyfriend thing though, so maybe her absence is for the best.
Once again, I find it difficult to believe Lala since she claimed, “I’m definitely not going to be off of TV, so whether it’s Vanderpump Rules or something else for me, I’m a hustler.” I don’t know about that. She can’t even pull her weight on a show with 2,934 cast members to pick up the slack in her absence, so I doubt she has a ton of opportunities coming her way.

Just go back on Vanderpump Rules, Lala.
It really makes the most sense. Lala should not go on some other inferior reality show just to make a point that she can succeed on her own. Pump Rules is truly the best option at this point, especially since she can join Scheana and Ariana in their war against (most of) the other female cast members.
Lala confirmed,“I have made amends with a lot of different people, so that’s amazing for me. Scheana and Ariana are, like, life goals for me right now. I’m obsessed … We’re homies, so it’s like, I’m a little bit sad, and now they’re going to be filming all summer and we’re finally friends!”
Lala joked that she has her sights set on another Lisa Vanderpump reality show when she said, “When I’m on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, you guys will know. Good lord, can you imagine me and [Lisa Vanderpump] as homies instead of her worker? Life goals!” That would be like the second coming of Brandi Glanville… which I’m sure Lisa would welcome with open arms. Not.

Dorinda Medley Believes Sonja Morgan Finds It “Impossible” To Be Supportive Of Her
I don’t understand why anyone would ever defy Dorinda Medley. Whoever has the nerve to do so – God bless you. I can’t think of anyone who can handle her wrath. That’s why it kills me watching my girl Sonja Morgan this season on Real Housewives of New York. She has no idea who she’s up against.
It seems like they are cool at this point, but I doubt Dorinda enjoys watching these episodes when Sonja is shit talking her charitable efforts and her boyfriend John Mahdessian. Sonja better watch out. Dorinda will not put up with that nonsense.

Before addressing issues with Sonja, Dorinda discussed the tension between Bethenny Frankel and Ramona Singer in her Bravo blog.
She wrote, “I still do not understand how heated it got between Ramona and Bethenny in the Berkshires, but one thing is for sure: Bethenny is having none of it. When Bethenny is done, she’s done, and she does not look back.” Seriously though. I would not mess with Bethenny. Ever.
Dorinda declared, “I did not appreciate Sonja‘s rude comments about the event and John. Sonja finds it impossible to ever be supportive of me.” Yeah, I don’t know what’s going on with Sonja this season, but she’s definitely a lot more negative than we have ever seen in the past.

Dorinda didn’t stop there though. She really went in on Sonja: “Maybe if it were about picking up random men at Beautique and not about the sex trafficking of children, she would be kinder and more supportive.”
Dorinda also did her due diligence as a bridesmaid in Luann de Lesseps and Tom D’Agostino’s wedding. Even though the wedding went down months ago, she is here to defend the controversial couple. She said what I was thinking: “Everyone has to stop with Luann and Tom.” I say this, not as a fan of Tom’s, but solely because I’m tired of them dragging out the same story over and over again.
Dorinda said, “They’re happy, they’re in love, and the biggie: THEY’RE GETTING MARRIED in a few weeks! We all need to focus on our lives and relationships and leave them be! Enough Already!” I really don’t care about their relationship at this point, but I am just so done with everyone talking about it. Unless Tom does something new, I don’t want to hear about it.

Vicki Gunvalson Denies Hanging Out With Brooks Ayers
It’s never unusual to hear about Vicki Gunvalson partying in Cabo. It’s basically her second home. The part of this story that is pretty alarming to the Real Housewives of Orange County fans is that there are whispers about her being there with her most notorious ex boyfriend Brooks Ayers. Vicki has adamantly denied the hang out claims. Multiple times.
Obviously, it’s annoying me that Brooks is the topic of conversation (again) and I feel like I’m adding to the annoyance by typing out his name, but at least it seems like Vicki is actually one hundred percent done with this scumbag. Or at least I hope so.

Even though Vicki and Brooks have been officially broken up for years, I’m sure her mentions are still full of his name. For the most part, Vicki ignores this, but this time she adamantly stood up for herself against the Brooks rumors.
Vicki tweeted, “Nice try!! No way!!” She continued, “People will say anything to get attention! I was with my girlfriends all weekend.” Plus, I bet this was filmed for the show, unless my perception of the timing is off. Vicki maintained, “Not true! Was there with my girlfriends!” in response to the accusations.
In response to a fan who tweeted, “Girl say it ain’t so! Not in Cabo w/CROOKS! They lying on ur name sis! #AddressThis #SOON,” Vicki replied, “OMG no!!”

Aside from adamantly denying any sort of reconciliation with Brooks, Vicki called out a Twitter user who asked about it: “Attention seeker! I was at Cabo Wabo one night with my girlfriends and their friends.”
After a “fan” tweeted, “Thanks for finally setting record straight! I knew you wouldn’t do it,” Vicki replied, “Why would I? He’s moved on and so have I! We broke up 2 years ago.” Another person told Vicki, “You definitely were with that scum trying to hide,” but the OG of the OC just wasn’t having it. She asserted, “Excuse me?? I was with my girlfriends and he was NOT there! Get ur facts straight.”
OK. We get it. Vicki was there with friends. Vicki made that abundantly clear. Am I the only one who read her tweets in the same tone of voice (and volume) Vicki had when she screamed “I have not had multiple partners in my life” while she was on the top of that mountain?

Amber Portwood And Matt Baier Talk Dealing With Reality TV, Love, Making Money, And Learning From The Past
Amber Portwood and Matt Baier recently opened up to Brandi Glanville on her Unfiltered podcast, where they defended their reputations and their relationship and discussed their complicated feelings about Teen Mom OG.
Brandi begins by gushing that Amber is a “gangsta!” and marvels that she’s been on TV for a decade yet still stays “relatable.” Amber takes issues with the word relatable, because most people do not have a “telescope” on their deeply personal issues. Amber explains that she spends so much time filming ‘on the couch’ because, “I don’t feel comfortable going out into a public place and talking about … cause in my life some issues I feel are very personal. For other people to just be listening or eavesdropping, it makes me uncomfortable and I’ll shut myself [down]. I want to be truthful.”

Amber and Matt complain about “how hard” reality TV is.
“We live in a world where people are very judgmental. All the internet terrorists who can say what they want behind a cloud of anonymity,” describes Matt. Amber interrupts to clarify that she loves her fans for always defending her and jokes that she doesn’t always deserve their loyalty. “These people, no matter what, they’re there for me.”
To clear up the constant misconceptions about his life, Matt decided to write a tell-all called You Have No F–king Idea: The Naked Truth About My Life. “I’m gonna tell you the truth if you can accept it, then I’m not talking about it again.”

Matt was apparently too ‘honest’ because “MTV slashed 15,000 words” from the final copy to conceal the realities about the show, etc. “It’s called the truth – the truth got slashed,” co-signs Amber.
Brandi loves the title of Matt’s book and the word f–k in general – something she really has in common with Amber. “Now I feel like everyone’s using it and it’s not genuine,” she grumbles. Amber doesn’t cuss in front of Leah, but Brandi can’t contain herself in front of her sons. She recounts a story of her then three-year-old copying her by dropping the f-bomb. Brandi and Matt swap tales of lecturing their kids about appropriate behavior and language. I can’t even.
Amber is celebrating five years being sober. “I don’t know my actual date of when I got sober, because it’s when I went to jail.” Her addiction was so bad, Amber describes, “I would walk in to do a pee test with literally a Fentanyl patch on my cheek.”
Amber hadn’t seen Leah in two months at the time of her sentencing. She realized, then, how “disgusting” her life had become.
Amber is still emotional about it, but prison gave her direction because she started teaching self-help, addiction, and anger management classes to other inmates, and it taught her how to deal. “I do have a little bit of wisdom because of some things. When I was in prison, I didn’t just sit in there. I taught 150 women.”
On being successful and making money from reality TV while keeping it honest, Amber says, “The glam comes with it after a while, but you earned it. I’ve earned the messages I get [from fans] because people don’t know what I go through being in this.”
“I think we want people to learn from our mistakes, not just our success,” says Matt, who shares that Amber is deeply connected to “privately” helping fans dealing with drugs, prison, suicide, depression, etc – something she doesn’t broadcast. “I just feel there is a reason why I went to prison; there is a reason why I was away from my kid for that long,” explains a tearful Amber.
Brandi wonders how Amber handles the responsibility: “The world’s on your shoulders and you keep it there. And you cry a little bit here and there; you’re a woman – that’s what you do.”
“I would like to show people you can be the lowest of the low, and bring yourself back on top and not have to die and not have to be another statistic as a teen mother. That’s the goal here,” declares Amber. “The message is getting lost, though, on this show. I’m having a really hard time right now.”
“This was a docs-series when we started. The difference between 16 And Pregnant and Teen Mom in the beginning and now – complete difference. Two different shows. It’s like they’re trying to make us into Real Housewives,” sighs Amber. Brandi thinks that’s disappointing because Teen Mom should have a real message, whereas Housewives are about “glitz and glam and conflict.”
Amber and Matt are both frustrated with how they’re portrayed in the media and on TV. “People can change,” defends Matt. “We’re walking, talking examples of people who have a past that have come out on the other side. There’s hope for a lot of people.”
“I feel so bad for this guy,” Amber laughs about the bad rap Matt gets. “There’s a reason why we’re together. First of all because he’s a bad-ass mother f–ker! Nobody knows this. Me? C’mon now – everything I’ve been through, you think I’m naive? I get that all the time. We’ve broken up I don’t know how many damn times; he’s gone back to Massachusetts a couple times and came back because we love each other and it ain’t nothin! We get through it. You move on because somebody did something in their past, or you stay with them. And I’m proud of him.”

“We’re true life partners,” Matt agrees. Brandi gushes that she can see the love they have for each other.
Amber brags that when she met Matt he was an accomplished author and so humble – far from the deadbeat he plays in the courts show. “This man was playing poker making thousands of dollars. That was his job. When he first moved to Indiana it was really hard from him to get a job. And they completely just like bashed him. But that was my fans that did a lot of that.” Because they were protective of Amber.
Matt denies using Amber or the show for money. She confirms they only negotiated for him to be paid because he was such a huge part of the storyline. “I didn’t get paid from the show until last year. I didn’t ask for anything,” declares Matt. “Do I make a good living now? Absolutely, I’m not ashamed of it. I think I’ve earned it – going into my fourth season, I think I’ve earned it.”
“When I started filming I really didn’t talk about myself a lot, and in doing that the world decided to fill in my background for me,” he continues. “Again, I’ve always taken the approach that this show is about those four women and I inadvertently became front and center on this show without asking for any of it. And now that I’m out there and there’s nothing I can do to fight it, I’m just gonna embrace it. If I had a dime for every time somebody said to me after meeting me, ‘Wow – you’re nothing like I thought you’d be.’ I wouldn’t need to be in Hollywood right now.”
Amber who just called off their wedding – again – vehemently defends Matt. “I don’t know how many times I’ve heard this man apologize. Like all of your men you have ever been with are so perfect? Get outta here! He’s got some crazy exes – girls are trying to extort me for money!”
Matt blames those crazy exes for making up a sordid past about him.”They invent these skeletons,” he argues, “and the tabloids, the media – if they can be called media – will take anything that’s written about me and Amber, with no validation to it, then put it out there.” Amber agrees, “Then boom, like three days later, it’s debunked.”
“I know what he’s done; he knows what I’ve done.” Amber defends their volatility, “It’s life. Nobody’s beating the crap out of anyone. Yeah we fight.” But she denies abusing Matt after photos of him with black eye surfaced. “We have a very normal relationship,” adds Matt. “I’m a regular person.”
“I love media, I really do – media can you make you or break you,” says Amber. “However I wish that the people who are reading everything or watching will make up their own minds and understand that they’re smarter than just to listen.” Her mom and brother even sometimes believe tabloid stories. She jokes, “I’m in Indiana, but in the Hollywood life,” because people talk about her that don’t truly know her.
“We’re two of the most honest people you’re ever gonna run across,” insists Matt. “We have nothing to hide.”
Brandi calls Amber “very grounded” and compares her to Farrah Abraham, who was on Brandi’s show last year. “It was bad. She couldn’t look at me. She’s seriously f–ked up. It was like pulling teeth to interview with her.” Amber and Brandi jokingly speculate that Farrah was on “heavy meds” that day. Oh dear.

Amber is of course NOT friends with Farrah, but is legit close with Maci Bookout and Catelynn Lowell. “I adore them,” she shares. “You should hear us when there is no camera and no microphones. They’re badass bitches for real!”
Matt asks who Brandi stays in touch with from Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills. “I’m friends with Kim, who everyone thinks is the crazy one and she’s not. And I’m friends with Yolanda. And that is about it. They’re the ones outside of the cameras, they actually call me and check on me, and we call each other, and they go to my son’s birthday party cause I don’t want to be there alone. It’s like a real friendship and not just let’s hang out on TV and when the cameras are down, they’re gone. Most of those women are like, ‘Camera’s down – bye!'”
Amber and Matt also open up about their professional lives – apparently like they’re for-real successful. Matt wrote a novel called Guys Don’t Rat On Guys, which was originally self-published a decade earlier under a pen name, but will be re-released with a legit publisher this summer. Amber describes it as “amaaaaaaaaaazing” and shares that “possibly” some movie agencies are considering buying the rights to turn it into a script. “And we’re not talking about small, we’re talking about big [companies].”
Amber‘s “high-end fashion” boutique and their real estate company are both going well. “People say ‘You don’t have real jobs,’ but we’re constantly busy and we’re planning for the future,” insists Matt. Amber adds, “My daughter – well she’s gonna work but, my daughter’s set for college.”
Finally Amber weighs in on her relationship with Gary and the possibility of gaining more custody of Leah.
Amber praises Gary and Christina for being such good parents to Leah, and admits Christina has really reached out to her. “We’re actually co-parenting now. Gary is actually, I think, gonna surprise people this season from what has been going on. But let’s see if he actually does it. I believe in change and I get to see my boo boo more and everything. I don’t see my boo boo as much, but best believe when I have her, this kid worships me.”
“I think people want us to have animosity,” gripes Matt. “At the end of the day, we’re a family as odd and strange as it can be. We have to live with each other once the cameras go off. So that animosity’s gonna carry over into real life.”
Brandi expounds about how what makes good TV and reading, but it’s bad for her kids. Now she’s realizing this!?

Below Deck Mediterranean Recap: Chain Of Fools
There are so many boating metaphors we can use when it comes to Below Deck Mediterranean but I’m going to skip those for now and draw on an analogy of sorts to describe this episode: above deck on the Sirocco, everything looks perfect and pretty but just below water, trouble is lurking. I’m not just talking about the rising tension (both sexual and otherwise) between the crew, I’m also talking about the yacht itself, which is experiencing problem after problem (after problem). First, the Sirocco was drifting too close to the rocky shoreline, putting to boat in harm’s way, along with everyone on it.This episode, it’s the anchor chain that has twisted to the point of no return.
But before we tackle the anchor problem, we still have to fix the original issue in progress, which is the yacht drifting into the rocks. The wind has picked up and Captain Sandy Yawn can’t deny that they are getting closer and closer to the rocky shoreline, which makes for great scenery, but would be really bad to get too close to (which is kind of how I view Chef Adam Glick).

Captain Sandy decides the best way to handle it would be to get Max Hagley into a tender boat to push the Sirocco away from the danger zone, which Max can’t seem to understand the point of, but sure enough, Sandy was right. The yacht gets to a safe distance and they drop two anchors just to make sure they don’t drift too far again in the high winds. Personally, I don’t think there was too much at stake since there is enough silicone on board to keep two yachts afloat but I suppose even if the guests are built in flotation devices, you aren’t really supposed to rely on that to get you out of a yachting pickle.
Since they dropped two anchors, Malia White is put on anchor duty, which means she has to check it multiple times throughout the night. If Malia is on anchor duty, Lauren Cohen is on drama duty. She can’t stop sulking around the boat, upset that former fling Bobby Giancola is “soiling” her good name. Yes, she actually used those words. I’m not entirely sure how she thinks Bobby is soiling her name and why she cares so much. None of the girls care what Bobby has to say and the guys, well, they are all too busy jockeying for their chance at Malia. Lauren’s self-imposed angst is really wasted on everyone. Bobby isn’t giving her the warmest of welcomes but it doesn’t exactly warrant her crying into the laundry or sobbing as she wipes down the guest shower.
Chief Stewardess Hannah Ferrier sees the dilemma of an emo Stewardess and asks Malia to step up and help in the interior so Lauren can go listen to some Evanescence and write in her journal (or something). Christine “Bugsy” Drake goes to tell Lauren she can stay hidden for the night and gets treated to Lauren’s pity party, with Lauren asking why this is happening to her. Given that Bugsy just lost her Gran, she can’t help but watch with a bewildered look on her face, not really in the mood for Lauren to be pondering just how unfair life can be all because of a hookup gone sour.
Speaking of sour, Bobby finally realizes that he messed up with his old pal Hannah, who is his only friend on the boat. He finally shows up a glimmer of decency and pulls her aside to apologize for overreacting the other night when they were drunk and he accused her of c*ck blocking him. He was doing so well with his apology until he started to blame Lauren for putting things into his head and confusing his little pea brain, but I guess we will take it. They hug and Hannah admits to herself that she’s been burned by Bobby before, so she’s still a bit wary.
Dinner is on the horizon and the Mr. Skin team invites Captain Sandy to join them, which means the pressure is on for the interior crew to make everything perfect. The guests arrive for a bra optional dinner and Mr. Skin himself tells Sandy about how the Empire of Skin was built (I will spare you the details).
Adam is in the galley, trying hard to focus on dinner but is easily distracted by Malia coming in and out. He can’t resist the urge to flirt with her, despite the fact that he’s also been unlucky in love, after being in a seven year relationship that ended because of cultural difference. Between flirting and trying to keep up with making the guest requested boob cake, Adam is starting to sweat and he takes out his frustrations on Hannah, snapping at her for everything from clearing the plates too quickly to how she reads off the food orders.
As Sandy excuses herself from dinner to go look at the Mr. Skin website on her laptop (seriously!), the crew gets ready to present the grand finale of desserts – cakes that look like boobs. Adam has been toiling away at the cakes, making sure they are perfect because every luxury chef knows you’re only as good as your anatomically correct cakes. The crew changes into cheeky little t-shirts that have skimpy bathing suit print on them (you know, the ones you can get on the boardwalk at the Jersey Shore) to deliver the cakes in total style. The Skins love it and give them a standing ovation and you have to admit, it might not have been classy, but it was a nice touch.
While the guests finish the night out by jumping on the lazy susan and doing yoga moves in a mini dress with no underwear on, Bobby and Max retire to their cabin to check out the Mr. Skin website too, with Bobby literally slobbering on himself as he looks.
Lauren takes some alone time to call her Dad back home and get some of the support she needs. She is a self-proclaimed Daddy’s girl and admits that she headed out to sea to get away from being stuck in the middle of her parents’ bitter divorce. But now she feels like she replaced being stuck in the middle of her parents with being stuck between Bobby and Hannah, which is a pretty far stretch, if you ask me. Let’s keep things in perspective here!
Hannah and Bugsy take their own private time to talk and Hannah tells Bugsy how impressed she is with how she is managing the loss of her Gran and still doing her job. Hannah is also no stranger to loss – her brother died when she was a child so she can relate to the sadness of losing a loved one. The two bond over a shared experience and you can see their friendship growing.
It’s a new day and time to pull the anchor up so the Sirocco can head back to port and drop off the Skins. One small problem – the anchor comes up and it’s hopelessly tangled into what Bobby would call a rat’s nest. Captain Sandy springs into action and I don’t care what anyone says about her being a micro manager, she is right where she should be when it comes to these issues – in the thick of it, guiding her crew. But Bobby doesn’t appreciate her expertise and disagrees with pretty much everything she tells him to do until she coolly reminds him that she has been in yachting for about as long as he has been alive. Wesley (who I still can’t help but call Wiz) Walton knows he has to step up as Bosun and do everything he can to help fix this anchor so they don’t have to cut it, which would cost them the rest of the yachting season.
Since they are hours over form their scheduled departure time, Hannah calls the Skins a water taxi and Wiz dives into the water to try and fix the anchor. After hours of working on the anchor, the water taxi arrives and the crew has to get into their whites to line up and bid adieu to the Skins, a full seven hours after when they were supposed to leave. This wasn’t exactly smooth sailing, but the Mr. Skin team had a blast, or more specifically, a “Skintastic time” and heap extensive praise on the whole crew. They might have been naked the whole time, but they were fun and easy going charter guests who didn’t let anything bother them.
After getting changed and grabbing a quick bite to refuel, the crew goes back to working on the anchor chain, worried they will have to cut the anchor. But Sandy doesn’t give up easy and they keep at it. The girls can’t offer too much more by way of helping, so Sandy gives them to go ahead to enjoy themselves for a bit. Lauren decides she’s brought the crew down enough and decides to apologize to Bugsy for being so lame and selfish with her emotions, so she redeemed herself slightly there. The girls then change into their bathing suits and have fun doing dives off the yacht into the water as Adam creepily watches Malia and talks about how hot she is. Eat a boob cake and settle down, buddy!
The anchor drama continues and we are over eight hours into the crew trying to fix it, to no avail. With the only other solution being to cut the anchor and lose the season, it’s not looking good for the crew of the Sirocco.

Joe Gorga And Teresa Giudice On Their New Pizza Restaurant, And Joe Giudice’s Life In Prison
Well, they have gone from keeping everything OUT of the family, to keeping everything in the family. Teresa Giudice recently opened “Gorga’s Homemade Pasta & Pizza” with Joe and Melissa Gorga. Stranger things, right?
With Joe Giudice in prison, it seems like the whole Real Housewives of New Jersey fambly came together like an everything-on-it pizza. Poison revealed he is in communication with his incarcerated brother-in-law. Should I be awaiting some sort of fambly food fight? “Joe’s doing good,” Poison shared. “He is doing his thing. He is working out a lot and looking great!”

Melissa and Teresa, the twinning restaurant owners who now finish each other’s sentences and speak at the same time, both think owning the restaurant is great too. “It feels pretty good,” grinned Melissa. “We’ll see how everybody else feels about it.”

Everybody else, like cousin-in-law Kathy Wakile, who recently announced plans to open her own family restaurant called Pizza Love, was iced out of this family one.
“Everyone’s gonna love it,” insisted a supremely confident Teresa. “Everyone’s gonna love our recipes.”
“They’re my mom’s recipes. My mom taught me to cook, and my dad’s an amazing cook,” Teresa told Extra. “We want to keep their legacy going. As you know, my mom’s not here with me anymore, but she’s here with me in spirit. This is what got us going to do this, is, you know, what happened to my mom.”
In RHONJ affairs, Teresa and Melissa recently returned from the cast trip to Milan.
“It was nice,” said Melissa. “Going to Milan, it’s not something we normally get to do together without our husbands, so we had a nice little sister-in-law trip.”
Apparently yoga was not needed to manage any Milanese drama. “I stretched in my room,” said Teresa, but Melissa stuck to wearing heels on thousand-year-old streets for exercise. Teresa is certified to teach yoga now. “That’s my passion.”

Back to the restaurant, apparently we’re all going to want to eat everything up. Teresa gushed that the food is so good it’s “unspeakable.” Joe was far more elegant with his words. “It’s like an gorgasm waiting to happen, baby!” he exclaimed, as Teresa and Melissa both shrieked “NOOOOO!” A gorgasm, huh? Or poison, which I don’t think is good for anyone.

Little Women: LA Recap: Big Trouble, Little Video
Remember a certain video Kim Kardashian leaked back in the day to launch her dubious career? Well apparently, Christy McGinity Gibel made one of those videos too! Except with way less skin, no sex, and a decidedly lower market value. So when Terra Jole decides to bizarrely out this old footage of Christy on this week’s Little Women: LA, Christy is offended – and rightly so, especially when Terra vaguely presents it as some sort of threat if Christy doesn’t sign her book release. Meanwhile, Tonya Banks is not having the best luck, as her dog is stolen, which, on top of the massive meltdown Jasmine Sorge recently had on her, does not make for a great week in Little Boss’s world.
With Penny turning two, Terra and Joe Gnoffo are planning a big party. At home, they prep decorations as Tonya pops in to tell them her dog, Angel, is gone. She cries foul! Someone’s stolen her, says Tonya. But enough on that, as there’s party drama to discuss – drama between Tonya and Jasmine, that is. Tonya still doesn’t know what to do to make things right after Jasmine screamed in her face at her post-launch party. She apologized, so shouldn’t that be enough? As for Briana Renee’s beef with Tonya not including her in the fashion show, nobody cares.

Speaking of Briana and Jasmine, they’re at the salon getting blowouts and licking their wounds. Briana, now an official model (in her estimation) discusses the photoshoot she took to send to Maxim. She shows Jasmine the shots, which are photoshopped within an inch of becoming a Sims character, and Briana isn’t happy. She feels like the entire thing was a waste of time.
Briana is also bummed about Terra accusing her of sidling up to her manager – something Briana still claims she never did. As of now, she and Terra are on okay terms, but she never knows when she’ll turn on her. Uh, Briana: Are you speaking about YOURSELF? Pot, meet kettle. She does know where she stands with Tonya though: in the reject pile! (Whether she’s been officially informed about her massive B.O. problem remains a mystery. And OMG – I can still not believe that sh*t.)
Back at Terra’s, she tells Joe about her new working title for the memoir she’s writing: “How Not To Be A Midget.” Joe bristles at the idea, as did Terra’s publisher. She’s still waiting on the ladies signing releases for the book too, and figures that a two-year old’s birthday party is just the time and place to do it!
Okay – on to Terra’s next bright idea! In an effort to massively stir years-old poop, she shows Joe a video that Christy made back in 2012 in which she’s lip-syncing to a song about “midgets” – a derogatory slur that most of the little people community considers an outrage. Terra unearths the video from who the hell knows where…to do what, exactly? To prove that her book title is kosher? No, she claims. It’s more likely that she wants to prove that Christy is a horrible human being who hasn’t suffered enough under Terra’s crushing thumb. Plus, Christy questioned Terra’s involvement in a movie TEN YEARS AGO that had “midget” in its title – so there!
But here’s the real reason: Terra wants collateral to use in strong arming Christy into signing her book release. Plain and simple.
(An aside for Lifetime: Hello there! It’s us, your faithful viewers who are hanging on by a very flimsy thread! Um, quick question: Are we seriously supposed to be invested in this trivial, stale, non-issue of a fight? Because I, personally, cannot summon a single f**k to give about this entire cluster. Let’s move it along, shall we?)
None the wiser about Terra’s evil plan, Christy goes boutique snooping with Tonya to check out other lines of active wear. Tonya’s line has launched online, but she may be interested in store sales as well. After Tonya inquires about selling her wares in the boutique, she dishes to Christy about her dog getting stolen – then getting her back after “offering a reward.” WTF!? She’s also exhausted with the Jasmine/Briana drama.
Christy has issues of her own, worrying about Todd’s upcoming gastric sleeve operation – and the complications that come with it. Tonya encourages her to be hopeful, although she tosses in some shade about a couple she knows who got divorced after one of them went through the same surgery. Ouch!
In other parts of LA, Elena Gant and Jasmine are checking out an Old Hollywood museum, where they discuss Jasmine’s hurt feelings over the fashion show. Elena doesn’t think Tonya had bad intentions, encouraging Jasmine to make amends with Tonya for the good of the order. This is rich coming from the woman who’s held a grudge so hardcore all season she’s practically turned herself inside out with resentment.
Before she crushes Christy’s skull like a walnut, Terra decides to meet with her for coffee. She presents her offer: She’s writing a book and wants to include stories from Christy’s past in which she was drunk and foolish. Christy doesn’t want her dirty laundry aired in the name of Terra making a buck though. So Terra pulls out the heavy artillery – she’s got a video! And she’s willing to use it against Christy if she doesn’t sign the release (or at least, that’s the subtext here). Christy is shocked that Terra’s hanging this video over her head out of literally nowhere.
But will she sign the release? Christy doesn’t answer just yet because she has a plan of her own! She’s writing a book (someday) as well and wants to use her story of recovery – along with her troubled past – herself. So, will Terra sign HER release, should the time come? CHECK MATE, b*tch! Terra’s like, ummmmm…this is not in my master plan!!!! She offers no answer.
Home with the boys, Elena and Preston talk about what a dream being a stay at home mom is. As every stay at home mom knows, this is a loaded statement – and probably meant more to throw shade at Terra, in Elena’s case, than to brag about “living the dream” that we all know is periodically a nightmare! Elena and Preston do seem happy though, so more power to them.
At a juice bar, Jasmine and Christy shop for some healthy drinks for Todd, post-surgery. After they taste test some juices loaded into freaking horse syringes, they discuss Jasmine’s drama with Tonya. Christy fills Jasmine in on Tonya’s woes: The dog, her health (she’s on blood pressure meds), and her overall depressed state. Moving on to Terra, Christy tells Jasmine about not knowing whether she’ll sign the book release. Jasmine will sign hers, but she knows that Christy and Terra have a much more complicated history. No matter, for Christy is concerned about actual real life issues: She’s truly terrified about Todd’s surgery.
So when day of Todd’s surgery arrives, Christy cries that he’s the love of her life, hoping that Todd pulls through the operation in one piece. Until then, she’ll be a nervous wreck. She wants to live a long life with Todd, as he does with her. They trade I-love-you’s pre-op, then it’s up to the doctors to see Todd to the other side of this thing.
After a long wait, Christy finally hears the verdict: Good news! The doc tells her that everything went well, and despite Todd not being an “easy case,” he has a chance to be healthy now. He’ll lose a substantial amount of weight over time, but it will be a major lifestyle change for both of them. Christy is grateful and excited about the new life they have ahead of them.
It’s Penny’s birthday, and all of the animals are ready to entertain the kids. Oh – there’s also a petting zoo. (Ba dum DUM! :)) Tonya doesn’t exactly relish seeing Briana and Jasmine, but she’s not sweating it – even though she’s inexplicably dressed for a funeral. Terra decides that her book release is more important than getting into the celebration of her daughter’s big day, so she immediately accosts Briana about signing it as soon as she sees her. Briana wants Matt to read over the details first, but seems amicable to signing.
In another corner, Elena and Terra grill Tonya about whether she’ll confront Jasmine at the party. They frankly seem more invested in this drama than Tonya, who’s not planning on talking to Jasmine anytime soon. Obviously deflated that her child’s party will not devolve into a screeching embarrassment of grown women clawing each other’s eyes out, Terra all but pouts when Tonya doesn’t take the bait.
Adding to the peaceful vibe, Jasmine offers Tonya a sweet gift to say “sorry” for her outburst. In response, Tonya apologizes again – for real! – and the two hug it out in the name of genuine friendship. Cue Terra starting some new drama now in light of this absurdly mature behavior.
And start drama, she does! By showing a free screening of Christy’s video to Jasmine, Elena, and Tonya after cake is served. After the ladies see the video, they’re shocked. But instead of asking questions about why Terra is showing this video here and now, and how she got her hands on it at this particular juncture, they all just sit, mouths agape at Christy’s crude antics. And they are crude, make no mistake. But none of it has anything to do with Terra. Unless she needs it for blackmail purposes, of course.
TELL US: IS TERRA THROWING CHRISTY UNDER THE BUS FOR THE SAKE OF HER BOOK? WILL CHRISTY’S VIDEO GET HER KICKED OUT OF THE GROUP AGAIN?
