Flipping Out Recap: What The Duck?

Flipping Out recap

Flipping Out recap

Sadly, last week may have possibly held the only tender moment we’ll see on this season’s Flipping Out, as Jeff Lewis has officially lost his one remaining marble. With the stress of their Valley Vista remodel looming before them, the drama with Zoila Chavez behind them, and the promise of a new life joining them soon, Gage Edward and Jeff are at a crossroads. Instead of using his big boy coping strategies like therapist Dr. Donna suggested, Jeff instead opts for a full nuclear meltdown with a side of rage. At Gage, at architects, at ducks, at mailboxes. You name it! He’s on a tear.

Since Silent Matt has left, Gage has been picking up some major slack. But Jeff chooses to mercilessly rag on him in the car on their way to a job site anyway. In the back seat, Gage is at his breaking point as Jenni Pulos sits in the front seat awkwardly trying to diffuse the situation with a combination of whispery mantras and subtle side-eyes. Suddenly, we flash back to three days prior to see how they ended up in this pressure cooker of resentment.

CLICK THE CONTINUE READING BUTTON FOR MORE!

The build up to this moment involves a virtual pyramid of stress blocks, beginning with Jeff’s realization that a family of ducks living at his pool have gone away. Jeff rescued the mama duck’s seven ducklings the day before after his dog Oliver scared the bejeezus out of them. He herded them up, brought them back to mama, and built ramps out of two-by-fours so the ducklings could climb in and out of his pool. He was, in effect, experiencing Extreme Duck Co-Dependence.

Basically, Jeff is turning into Tony Soprano, Season 1. At the end of this episode, I fully expect Jeff to be drunk in a bathrobe, fully submerged in the pool, crying.

Pool-Duck-Flipping-Out

But now the ducks are gone. And Zoila is assigned the task of texting Jeff as soon as they’re found. These ducklings do not realize the full force of their metaphorical existence, but they are obviously representing some crazy-deep stuff for Jeff. He is not well, or as Zoila describes him: “Is cuckoo.” The ducks are his salvation!

Out on client calls, Jeff hits Hania’s home, which he’s basically consulting on for free, as well as Chaz Dean’s studios, which are always a hot mess. Chaz’s five projects keep Jeff Lewis Design hoppin’, but with the departure of Matt as project manager, Gage has had to take over – in addition to his thousand and three other duties. Jeff and Chaz just snark that “finally Gage has to step up!” though, which is simply unfair. Not to mention, a very cheap shot.

In therapy with Dr. Donna, Jeff reports he’s thrilled with the new 3-day work week for Zoila. But he’s devastated about the duck family! Dr. Donna wonders if Jeff’s paternal instincts are kicking in early, but those of us who’ve watched FO for the past nine seasons know how much Jeff truly loves animals. The ducks, however, seem to be representing something much deeper, and possibly darker?

Jeff admits he’s stressed in his relationship with Gage, and he knows the baby will add even more stress. Jeff doesn’t always know where he stands with Gage. He also suspects there’s things Gage needs in a relationship that he’s not getting, but he doesn’t know what they are. His biggest fear is that he’s not making Gage happy. “There’s something up with him right now and I don’t know what it is,” confesses Jeff.

Jenni-Pulos-Red-Dress-Phone-Flipping-Out

Back at Valley Vista, the ducks are still AWOL. Zoila sees one though! Jeff practically sprints to check and, sure enough, one is back. Jenni astutely notes that Jeff is projecting a lot of his fears onto the well being of these ducks, which have taken on the herculean task of physically representing Jeff’s fragile psyche. Jenni predicts a total and complete mental breakdown in 3…2…1… I hate to admit it, but Jenni is usually right in these cases.

Disquieted by the duck disappearance, Jeff snaps at Gage in the office about Chaz’s project, and more specifically, Gage’s project management. Gage pushes back that Jeff needs to draw some lines (read: boundaries) around this project if he wants it run to his exact specifications. Instead of doing so, Jeff moves on to b*tching about some sort of ant infestation. Why can’t anyone in this office who is doing NOTHING all day call an EXTERMINATOR! he rages. Gage leaves, snarking lightly on the way out. Jeff snaps, “Oh, shut the f–k up” at his back as Gage walks away. Wow. Ouch!

Jeff-Lewis-Plaid-Shirt-Waving-Flipping-Out

Jenni then (hilariously) asks Jeff as gently as possible, “How was therapy?” just after the blow up. Jeff doesn’t know. He doesn’t care. He is losing it and wouldn’t know a coping skill from a duck ramp at this point. Jenni silently moves a little farther away from him, probably hoping she isn’t his next target.

After escaping the office, Jenni goes to do something much less stressful: IVF egg harvesting. She’s moving on from IUI! Jenni calls her mom on the way to the clinic, who asks if Jenni’s sure she wants to do this? Jenni is sure, despite her mother’s misgivings. Seems like mom is not on board.

At their Hollywood remodel, JeffGage, and Vanina Alfaro meet with the architect of their demise. You know what they say about the best laid plans? Well, they ain’t viable. Jason, the architect, is moving at a snail’s pace. Jeff wants everything sped up and blames himself for being “too nice” to Jason along the way. He wants design to end, build to start. But Jason is as OCD about his plans as Jeff is about all of his juices facing forward in the fridge. Essentially, he’s built for comfort, not speed. Jason does promise that plans will be done and submitted by next week though.

At the fertility clinic, Jenni and her husband Jonathan wait for the procedure that will retrieve her eggs. It’s emotionally draining and Jenni is scared of the process, but she wants to have another baby, period. She wants her daughter to have a sibling, come hell or high water. After the procedure, Jenni is thrilled to find out that the doctor was able to harvest 26 eggs. She’s hopeful.

In the car sometime later, Jeff and Jenni call Gage, who sounds down in the dumps. So Jeff razzes Gage about Matt “leaving him” and how he’s just going to have to cry it out! Gage is silent, possibly adopting Matt’s old coping skill in his grief.

Jeff-Lewis-Gage-Edward-Architects-Remodel-Flipping-Out

Back at Hollywood, Jeff confronts Jason about not making the deadline of submitting plans. And it will take weeks after submission for work to start, so delays at the start just have a domino effect the entire way down the line. The pool hasn’t been approved yet either. Jeff is incensed, but he is essentially “chained to this guy,” who he now basically hates.

Jeff hardcore berates Jason in his talking head, claiming he’s the WORST architect he’s ever had the displeasure of working with! Jeff is even losing hair and getting shots in his head at the dermatologists over this stress, yo! Drama, thy name is Jeff Lewis.

The mealy-mouthed Jason is super annoying though, and waiting on someone else dragging their feet is maddening. Jeff and Gage have no recourse in this situation however, so they must just deal. And eat their feelings. And drink. You know, like usual!

Jeff-Lewis-Blue-Shirt-Window-Grouchy-Flipping-Out

At Chaz’s remodel, Jeff, Gage, and Jenni look at floor samples which Jeff declares all “terrible.” He then freaks out about a vacuum, pins, and screws – in that order. Jenni sort of flees the scene in a circular pattern, much like a headless chicken, while Jeff barks at Gage that he SHOULD BE MANAGING THIS!!!!!!!!!!

Gage doesn’t need to manage pins and screws and vacuums though. He needs to manage his relationship. “It just has gotten to a point where something better change or this will not work,” declares Gage to the cameras. He doesn’t want to parent like this with Jeff, and even admits that he’s considered moving out. It’s just too toxic.

Jeff-Lewis-Gage-Edward-Porch-Argument-Flipping-Out

Days after Jeff Meltdown #104, Jenni and Jeff are walking to the car as she cries about her disappointing news: Her doctor says her IVF chances are very low based on her retrieved eggs. They weren’t viable. Jeff asks Vanina to be sensitive to her situation, which is rich coming from him! But he does think Jenni should get a second opinion, perhaps from the doctor he originally recommended.

Oh lord. Back at Hollywood, Jeff, Jenni, and Gage bring in a new architect, Bill, to “assist” Jason. Not looking happy about the situation, Jason really has no choice but to get task-mastered by the much more thorough Bill. Right off the bat, Jason doesn’t have a lot of concrete answers for Bill. And he looks like he’s spraying diarrhea in his dress pants under the table. But Jeff is thrilled with the new team! Wahoooo! This house might get built after all. #BillForTheWin

In the car later on the way to therapy, Jeff and Gage call Zoila to arrange her work schedule. And to distract themselves from the inevitable sh*tstorm awaiting them at Dr. Donna’s.

Meanwhile, Jenni is at the fertility clinic again to consult about her chances. This time she’s seeing Dr. Potter for a second opinion. After discussing her situation, Dr. Potter encourages Jenni that her chances are not zero. She still has a fighting shot at IVF success in his opinion, which makes her tear up with gratitude.

At another doctor’s office, Jeff and Gage are perched on the couch, ready for combat. Jeff wonders if Gage is unhappy? Gage feels there are major problems in their relationship, namely Jeff’s explosions lately. He can’t just reset to normal after Jeff’s episodes. Jeff thinks Gage is too sensitive, so he literally starts yelling at him about being sensitive. Irony at its best.

Gage bitterly laughs that Jeff just showed Dr. Donna the EXACT nature of their relationship in this very outburst. If Gage would fight back, he thinks Jeff would escalate even more. Which, yeah. He’s more concerned that their baby will pick up on this toxic stress, which Dr. Donna agrees, she will. Of course she will!!

Their relationship is mixed up at this point, says Dr. Donna, and they need to get back to the reasons why they got together in the first place. “I realized I met someone just as broken as I am, and I thought: This is perfect!” jokes Jeff. Gage chuckles. Jeff adds that in all seriousness, he likes Gage for his stability and maturity. Gage likes Jeff for his good looks and passionate drive. He also loves how much Jeff takes care of people; at his core, he’s an incredibly warm person even if he shows it in unconventional ways.

Gage and Jeff used to have fun together to – like in 2010! But they need to get back to focusing on the fun, not just the work, in their relationship. They also need lotsa, lotsa therapy. Let’s see if they’re willing to try. If not for them, for the baby’s sake.

Michael Wainstein Moves Back In With Jules Wainstein; More Divorce Details

SAG HARBOR, NY - AUGUST 22: Amy Michael and Julianne Wainstein attend the USTA Serves 2nd annual Pro-Am reception , sponsored by Sothebys, and BMW at The Bridge Golf Club on August 22, 2013 in Sag Harbor, New York. (Photo by Sonia Moskowitz/Getty Images)

Jules Wainstein and Michael Wainstein divorce

I cannot help feeling bad for Jules Wainstein. She has been going through a brutal divorce from Michael Wainstein and on top of all that drama, word has gotten out that Jules will not be a cast member on Real Housewives of New York next season.

At this point, I would like to think that life can only get better from here for Jules, but the hits keep coming. In a separation that included accusations of infidelity against Michael, police involvement, and difficult negotiations for spousal and child support, I feel so awful for the Wainstein family, especially the kids. Now, Michael is moving back into the home, which seems pretty wild since Jules had a restraining order against Michael.

CLICK “CONTINUE READING” FOR MORE!

In the most recent divorce update, People reports that the temporary restraining order Jules had against Michael has been lifted so he can move back into their apartment with their children, Jagger and Rio, who are 8 and 5 years old respectively.

I’m all for the two kids having both parents around, but that’s only if the situation is peaceful. It seems like there is so much contention between the two of them, so I have no idea if that’s possible, but I am really pulling for Michael and Jules to get it together for the kids.

So how is this living arrangement going to work? It is a major jump to go from having court ordered distance between two people to them inhabiting the same apartment. According to E!, the Wainstein residence has more than one floor. This means that Michael will be able to live/work on the second floor and Jules will be permitted on the third and fourth floors of the building.

RELATED: Jules Wainstein Awarded $10,000 A Month In Child/Spousal Support

I figured there would be shared space in the residence for Michael and Jules to interact with the children, but that doesn’t seem to be the case since “each will have exclusive access to those parts of the home for now.”

In accordance with the restraining order getting lifted, the judge told Jules and Michael to maintain a “respectful distance, especially for the children’s sake, which needs to be their primary concern. If everyone stays where they need to go, that will be better for everyone.”

I hate to bring this up, but I have to just put it out there that I am so surprised that Jules is not returning to Real Housewives of New York with all of this salacious scandal going on, but then again, I have to assume that she is either not allowed to publicly discuss the legal matters or that she just doesn’t want the drama to be heightened by the cameras. I feel like a terrible person saying this, but it definitely would have made for some great television.

Let’s hope that these two are able to work out a harmonious living situation for the sake of their children and their own sanity.

Chris Harrison Praises Bachelor Nick Viall For His Sincerity; Chad Johnson And Robby Hayes Call Nick Fake And Pompous

Nick Viall as The Bachelor

Nick Viall as The Bachelor

Am I the only one who feels like the announcement that Nick Viall will be the next The Bachelor is getting more attention than any other Bachelor-related news in a while? It became official last week and people are still talking about it. Chris Harrison continues to insist that Nick is the best choice. However, The Bachelorette cast-offs Chad Johnson and Robby Hayes aren’t feeling it.

They sound a little bitter to me. After all, the trend for this franchise has been to pick the star for the next season from last season’s pool of contestants, which includes both Chad and Robby. Not to mention that Luke Pell has been doing a press tour of complaints after he was rudely shafted from the role at the last minute. With so many differing opinions about Nick, I have a feeling that a lot of people will be watching The Bachelor next season.

CLICK “CONTINUE READING” FOR MORE!

Personally, I’m pumped Nick will be the Bachelor. The only thing that bothers me is that it’s too late for me to try out. With that said, I have some inherent bias when it comes to anything Nick-related. I am so #TeamNick. The franchise host Chris Harrison agrees with me on this one and has adamantly defended the two-time Bachelorette runner-up.

Chris explained to Entertainment Tonight that the decision to go with Nick at the last minute was not meant to be an insult against Luke. “It’s not an indictment on Luke that he’s not the Bachelor. That doesn’t make him a bad guy. We can just only have one person and, at the end of the day, it’s very important for us to have someone who is sincere. Who is sincerely going to go through this and, I hate to be cliche, for the right reasons try to find love?”

Love him or hate him, it does seem like Nick fell hard for both Andi Dorfman and Kaitlyn Bristowe during his two seasons on The Bachelorette. He does seem to be on a quest for love. Sure, that happens to overlap with reality TV fame in this case, but if you can find a wife and be famous, why not do both?

Both Andi and Kaitlyn have publicly supported Nick in the role. Andi tweeted, “Congrats, Nick. It’s been a long road but you’ve always been genuine and real about wanting to find love. Now it’s your turn! Best of luck!” With a rose emoji at the end, of course. If someone Nick dated and publicly upset (when he made it known that they slept together in the fantasy suite) thinks Nick is sincere about finding love, then that’s a good enough endorsement to me.

Not only was he on The Bachelorette (twice) but he was also on Bachelor in Paradise this summer.

Watching Nick on Bachelor in Paradise made a lot of people curious about Nick’s love life again, minus the part where the Bachelor announcement came a week before the BIP finale and we had to watch Nick grapple with decisions about a relationship that (obviously) wasn’t going to work out since he’s about to star in another reality dating show. Even the people who dislike Nick seem interested in watching him, at least to a certain extent.

There are also rumblings from some supposed “inside sources” that Luke emphasized promoting his country music career a little too much when planning out his prospective time on The Bachelor.

The “source” revealed, “All Luke asked about and seemed to care about when planning his role as the Bachelor was his country music career.” Once again, I don’t feel like promoting your career and passion necessarily takes away from a sincerity to find love, but I can see why that might be up for interpretation. Maybe Luke just wooed me through the TV screen, but I felt like it was sincere and natural whenever he whipped out his guitar to serenade JoJo Fletcher on The Bachelorette

Of course Chris Harrison is supporting and promoting the decision to cast Nick, but some people in Bachelor Nation are not happy. I’m really not shocked about this though. Chad previously said (several times) that he wanted to be the Bachelor and Robby has been accused by many people of “being fake.” If anyone is going to speak up against the casting, it makes perfect sense that it’s these two.

They both shared their opinions with In Touch. The highly controversial Chad said Nick “is totally fake. He’s already been on three shows. It’s not about him wanting a wife; it’s about fame.” And Chad would know since he is one of the franchise’s most infamous contestants who won’t stop talking about the show to get attention.

JoJo’s runner-up Robby came off like a sore loser when he said, “To be honest, I figured they might go after somebody a little younger, somebody that has a little more pep in their step.” Like you, Robby? Pretty sure we all saw the true subtext in that “opinion.”

Robby also said he met Nick and felt “he came off a little pompous and seemed bitter.” Well yeah, I would be a little bitter too if I got dumped multiple times on reality TV.

Chad also attempted to insult Nick, “Nick’s been playing his cards right and knows what to do and what not to do. He knows what looks good on TV – and he knows what doesn’t.” That sounds like something the franchise needs.

Bachelor Nation seems to be more vocal than ever before. I’m sure that a lot of people will be tuning into Nick’s season and sharing their opinions.

Big Brother 18 Recap: The End of James and Natalie

In our Big Brother 18 recap tonight, we’ll finally see the last of the strange showmance of veteran player James Huling and beauty queen/cheerleader Natalie Negrotti. Primarily due to poor game play by James, the two of them have ended up on the block together, and one of them will be voted out this evening and off to the Jury house.

The end of 'Jatalie' on Big Brother 18 (CBS)

The end of ‘Jatalie’ on Big Brother 18 (CBS)

Natalie Negrotti started off the season in a very, very brief showmance with Victor Arroyo, which ended even before the first CBS Big Brother TV show of the season aired and the Live Feeds were turned on. Now, either Natalie or James will be headed out the door tonight at Victor’s hands in a rather poetic finish to their oddball flirtmance.

After the live eviction vote, we’ll be heading into one of the last Head of Household Competitions of the season with our final five houseguests: Victor Arroyo, Paul Abrahamian, Nicole Franzel, Corey Brooks, and James Huling.

Victor is not allowed to compete in this HoH, which leaves all the weight on Paul’s shoulders to win and keep himself safe this week. Especially since we fully expect Nicole may flip on her final four deal with Paul and Victor now that James isn’t weighed down with Natalie — and she may well get Corey to join her on that. Obviously Paul and Victor are the biggest threats to win it all in the house at this point.

So who will go home tonight, and which houseguest will end up as Head of Household with only a couple of weeks to go before the Big Brother 18 finale?

Join us for our live Big Brother 18 recap of tonight’s show right here starting at 6:00 PM PT/9:00 PM ET! Please be sure to refresh this page frequently during the show for the latest updates!

More coming soon…

As the Head of Household Competition tonight is an endurance challenge, it won’t be over before the CBS TV show ends. If you want to know the spoilers on who won, head on over to our recap of the HoH challenge from the Live Feeds, or grab a whole free month of CBS All Access until September 16 using the code “FALLACCESS” and watch for yourself!

Who Won Head of Household on Big Brother Tonight? 9/8/2016

Who won head of household on Big Brother tonight in one of the most crucial competitions of the season? Will it be a Paul/Victor power duo in charge of the house, or possibly a Nicole/Corey/James trio running the show this week? Read on for spoilers from the Live Feeds on who won HoH on Big Brother tonight!

Big Brother 19 Head of Household (CBS)

Big Brother 18 Head of Household (CBS)

If Paul Abrahamian comes out on top of the challenge this evening, it will be interesting he and Victor stick with the current Final Four deal with Nicole and Corey. If so, they’d be putting James Huling up on the block as the target, but who else would be a nominee? Hmmm. If they were really smart, they’d be all about getting Nicole out, not James. If Nicole Franzel, Corey Brooks, or James wins, we fully expect the three of them to team up now that Natalie Negrotti is gone, but will they choose to go after Paul, or Victor?

The Head of Household Competition tonight, as spoiled by Miss Cleo in advance, is the infamous slip and slide endurance challenge. Houseguests have to slide their way across a slippery surface to fill containers with liquid in tiny amounts each time they reach them. There are usually a lot of falls, cursing, sometimes crying, and it’s always a big mess. Nicole did reasonably well in the version of this competition in her previous season, so she’ll be one to watch.

We’ll be recapping the Big Brother Head of Household Competition live as it happens starting on the CBS TV show and moving on to the Live Feeds. Keep up with the latest updates from the live HoH challenge in our updates via Twitter below! Plus, of course, we’ll post the winner right here as soon as they are revealed! Of course, if you want to watch it all for yourself, you can grab a whole MONTH of CBS All Access free until September 16 if you sign up now using the code “FALLACCESS”!

Jules Wainstein Awarded $10,000 A Month For Spousal And Child Support; Michael Claims He Can’t Afford It

Jules Wainstein awarded $10,000 a month child/spousal support

Jules Wainstein awarded $10,000 a month child/spousal support

It is a rough time to be Jules Wainstein these days. The news broke this week that the new girl will NOT be returning to Real Housewives of New York, yet she’s still battling it out with her costars. Not only that, but her nasty divorce from Michael Wainstein is still ongoing. What is the latest? The judge granted Jules spousal and child support.

Why is that rough? Unfortunately for Jules, it is not as much as she originally requested. And there’s actually some more bad news for the Wainstein family, Michael and his lawyer alleged that he cannot afford the decided amount. Uh oh. It looks like the drama will never stop between these two.

CLICK “CONTINUE READING” FOR MORE!

According to TMZ, Jules originally requested $25,000 in monthly spousal and child support from her soon-to-be ex husband Michael. That number got reduced to $10,000, but it is not a guarantee she will actually get that money.

Michael and his lawyer claimed that he cannot afford that because he “doesn’t have any income and his credit cards have been frozen.” I wonder how accurate this is. Either way, it’s not good news for Jules. If he’s telling the truth, she’s not going to be happy if he cannot provide the $10,000 every month and if he’s lying, then he’s a liar which is obviously not good in any circumstance, let alone deceiving his children.

Who knows what’s really going on as far as Michael’s ability to pay for spousal and child support, but he has to figure something out. The first payment is due on September 30. Jules will not be receiving those Bravo paychecks anymore, so I’m sure she means business when it comes to this request.

Who Was Evicted on Big Brother Tonight? 9/8/2016

Who got voted off Big Brother tonight and will have to live with failing to even make the final five of season 18? For those watching the Big Brother Live Feeds, the answer to that has been plain and clear since pretty much after the Power of Veto Competition was over.

Big Brother 18's Natalie Negrotti & James Huling (CBS/BigBrotherNetwork.com)

Big Brother 18’s Natalie Negrotti & James Huling (CBS/BigBrotherNetwork.com)

Although CBS Big Brother tried to ‘edit’ some possible question about the vote into Wednesday night’s show, there was only ever one person headed out the door this week once they were on the block and failed to win PoV.

This is one of the reasons why we simply have to subscribe to the Big Brother Live Feeds every season, and we aren’t terribly upset the fall season of the show will be shown entirely on CBS All Access.

The Veto show on Wednesday night was full of some pretty shady and out of context edits going on. Which makes no sense really, because there was PLENTY of drama and fun that could have been aired on the TV show, instead of mutilating footage we saw in original form on the Live Feeds to fit a certain ‘package’ for the show — and make the vote look somewhat like it might still go either way.

2016-09-07_14-02-13

No matter how CBS tried to spin it, there was just no question at all that Natalie Negrotti would be the one walking out the door on Thursday night. Nicole wants James to stay so that she can hopefully drag him into a final three with her and Corey, because it’s the only chance she stands of winning the game. (No way the Jury would give Nicole a win against Paul or Victor.) Nicole and Corey had two of the three votes this week, and Victor was just fine with getting Natalie out with little persuasion. So off to Jury goes Natalie!

This basically leaves things not looking so good for Victor and Paul though unless one of them wins Head of Household. As soon as Natalie stepped out the door, we are pretty sure Nicole was already formulating her plan to get James back under her wing to form a three-person block with her and Corey against Paul and Victor. Although it’s really all about who wins that HoH competition.

If you can’t wait to find out who won Head of Household on Big Brother tonight, then flip on over to our SPOILERS post on the HoH Competition results, going live at 6PM ET/9PM PT!

Heather Dubrow Recounts The Scary ATV Accident And Her “Odd” Phone Call With Meghan Edmonds

THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ORANGE COUNTY --

It’s fair to say the fans have been fickle with their love for Heather Dubrow over the past few seasons of Real Housewives of Orange County, but my loyalty has never wavered.

Sure, Heather serves as the prim and proper police a lot of the time, but have you seen her friends? They could use a little reminder now and then (I’m looking at you, Tamra Judge!). Plus, her closet is amazing and her husband is one of the nicest and most charming men with whom I’ve ever had the pleasure of speaking, no, I’m never NOT going to bring up this interview as it’s one of my most favorite memories in my time writing for this site. 🙂

Heather’s aversion to crassness aside, she never takes herself too seriously and she’s often the much needed voice of reason. Add in her love for champs and her ability to stay cool, calm, and collected in a pressure cooker, and you have got the Heather that was front and center on this week’s episode that left Kelly Dodd face down in the sand and Vicki Gunvalson being air-lifted to a hospital thanks to Tamra Judge’s stellar dune buggy skills. Thankfully, everyone is okay, but it was certainly hard to watch…and Heather agrees.

In her blog for the show, Heather begins, “I’ve been sort of dreading watching this episode. Although I had the BEST time with Nicky, I wasn’t sure I could stomach watching the footage of the accident. I started out with twins, so there were always two babies…then three, then four… So alone time is always precious and traveling with just one?!?! Incredible.”

Despite the horrific turn of events, it was adorable to see Heather’s son traveling with the ladies. She writes, “Nicky was so excited about the camper! When Tamra said ‘fancy trailer’ I was picturing something like Will Smith would have on movie location, LOL — apparently not! Truthfully I didn’t care what we were in, I was just so happy to be on this trip with Nicky. We laughed so much on the camper and Tamra and Vicki played ‘headbands’ with me and Nicky to make the time pass. It was supposed to be a three hour trip that took us seven hours!”

Calling out Kelly for her vomit taking issue with Heather’s rule-following ways, Heather asserts, “Kelly was soooooo car sick. She kept making a joke about Dramamine but didn’t have any?!?!! Ugh! The road was windy and awful. Nicky felt so bad he kept offering her a ginger ale, such a sweet boy. The campsite was awesome! Food, twinkle lights, flowers – really amazing!!! Vicki running up the sand wall…two seconds after she came down cars were zooming by, she could have easily been hit. If Kelly wants to call me Principal Dubrow – go right ahead. I’d rather be the principal than a vulgar, truant, inappropriate child.”

Making light of her culinary skills, Heather jokes, “Take a picture of me cooking! I sent it to Terry! Haha! Tamra scared me with the food thing!!! She said basically pack in, pack out for yourself. We ended up doing community food with everyone and used my ‘Jackie’ meals as appetizers for everyone, it was so much fun. Eddie is a GREAT grill master!”

Heather shares, “Nicky was blown away by this place and was itching to get on that ATV! Eddie was so sweet and patient with Nicky, I loved watching that! Nicky took to it so quickly, too quickly! He loved it!!!! Getting in the buggy, I called shotgun!!! Vicki and Kelly vomit!!! Didn’t want to be downwind of those two AND Vicki screams A LOT! I sat next to her on an elephant in Bali and I still don’t hear properly out of one ear (Kidding! Kind of!).”

Discussing the wreck, Heather recalls, “Tamra has been driving these dunes since she was young – I wasn’t worried about her driving. When you’re in the car it feels like a roller coaster but you know in the back of your mind it’s not totally safe. Right before we rolled you hear me say ‘I have a bad feeling’ …I hit the sand first…face in the sand, upside down. I thought to myself – I am not going to die in this vehicle and made my body go limp like Terry says to do in an accident.”

She states, “The car was pretty jacked up, the roll bar was bent. The roof (which was actually an 80 pound stereo) came crashing down on our heads. Vicki couldn’t feel the left side of her body, I was scratching her hand with my nails and she didn’t even flinch. It was scary,” adding, “Vicki and Tamra were lying in the sun for a long time. Glamis is in the middle of nowhere. It took 45 minutes to get the chopper to the crash site and we were holding up jackets and sheets to create some shade. We weren’t entirely sure where they were taking Tamra and Vicki or how bad their injuries were and with all the kids back at camp and no cars, we decided to sit and wait for news and then plan a course of action.”

Addressing Meghan Edmonds’ maturity level (my words, not hers), Heather continues, “That phone call with Meghan was odd. I told her about the accident and said I think we are in shock. She knew the severity of the accident. So, why should I suggest she see Vicki? Uh…because it’s the right thing to do…let’s see how that plays out next week…”

And the week after that, and the week after that…

Dance Moms Star Abby Lee Miller Scared By The Possibility Of Jail Time

Abby Lee Miller scared

Abby Lee Miller scared

I might be in the minority with this one, but there’s just something about Abby Lee Miller that I love. I don’t think I would feel this way if I was on Dance Moms, but as an outsider who is addicted to her show, I can’t help enjoying her ridiculous antics.

Nevertheless, one thing I can’t condone is Abby joining the trend set by reality stars of hiding income and facing jail time. Abby is far from the first reality star to face this kind of issue, so that makes it especially tough to watch. Didn’t she know better!? Apparently not and now Abby is speaking out about the charges against her and her fears about the very real possibility that she will be sent to prison. The woman who has shown pretty much zero empathy for other humans is trying to tug on people’s heartstrings with her recent comments.

Just to recap, Abby is in trouble for hiding incoming and concealing assets among her twenty counts of bankruptcy fraud. As a result, Abby could face up to ten years in jail. I find it tough to believe that someone would not recognize blatantly lying as a crime, but who knows if it was Abby herself who was handling her personal and business finances. But that’s just me as a fan trying to find some justification for Abby following the path of other tax-impaired reality stars.

Abby spoke out about the charges on the Allegedly podcast with Theo Von and Matthew Cole. According to Entertainment Tonight, Abby surprisingly admitted to doing something wrong when she said, “It’s a fact of life, I made mistakes.”

Abby also said, “I thought I was doing the right thing, I thought I had guidance. I thought I was on the up and up, and I wasn’t.” Maybe I am missing something here, but how can hiding assets and lying about earnings get misconstrued as “doing the right thing”?

Abby admits she’s “scared to death” of  jail and summed up her legal troubles as being “humiliating and embarrassing.”

At the very least, Abby seems to be owning up for her actions since she said, “If I can be an example from other people, you really have to learn. I did all the things I thought I should do, and I still screwed up, big time. I’m not going to deny anything, they were my mistakes. I am taking full responsibility for them – I have to. There’s no passing the buck. … If I did it wrong, I was wrong.”

Of course, Abby had to get in a dig against her Dance Moms co-stars when she talked about feeling a lack of support these days, “I have great friends, unfortunately they are around the country, they are not here. It used to be the moms until recently and I don’t know, you know.”

Well, it’s not like Abby has been the most supportive to those women or their children in the past. I honestly can’t blame them for being less than sympathetic to someone who has been more than difficult over the years.

TELL US – DO YOU HAVE SYMPATHY FOR ABBY’S LEGAL TROUBLES? OR DO YOU THINK SHE’S GETTING WHAT SHE DESERVES?
