Donald Trump is thinking of awarding himself a military medal. And not just any medal. Trump wants to give himself the the United States’ highest and most prestigious military decoration for valor in combat. He wants a Congressional Medal of Honor.
On February 19, Trump said he’d already tried to award himself the medal after visiting Iraq during his first term. Fortunately, his advisers talked him out of it.
“I’ve given out so many to guys that are seriously brave,” he said. “I mean, they come in with — the arms are missing, the legs are missing. The stories are so unbelievable.”

“It’s a little stretch if I gave myself one of them,” he admitted. “Someday I’m going to try.”
Ironically, though he dreams of receiving the military honor, Trump never served in the military, so he’s not eligible. But he never lets a little thing like rules stop him. In December, he added his name to the John F. Kennedy Performing Arts Center, in violation of federal law.
“I flew to Iraq and was extremely brave,” he bragged. “In fact, so brave I wanted to give myself the Congressional Medal of Honor. I said to my people: am I allowed to give myself the Congressional Medal of Honor?”
Trump actually avoided serving in the military during the Vietnam War. He got his doctor to diagnose him with “bone spurs” to avoid the draft. In fact, no member of Trump’s family has ever served in the military, and he’s known to describe those who serve as “losers.”
Nevertheless, he added, “I’m going to test the law … Let’s give it a shot. Maybe I’ll win in court after everyone sues me.”
Predictably, he later excused his speaking of giving himself the Medal of Honor as him just “having fun.” Members of the military who have lost limbs or family members who have lost loved ones surely weren’t amused.
Later the Veterans of Foreign Wars released a statement. They pushed back on Trump’s comments as “asinine.” They also emphasized that the award is a “sacred” honor, as it represents gallantry and the sacrifice of self, often at the cost of lives. It should not be treated lightly.

Bethenny Frankel has opened up about her health regarding her chronic kidney disease. Speaking on her Instagram Story, the former Real Housewives of New York star revealed a recent appointment with her kidney doctor has given her “anxiety.”
To recap, RHONY’s Bethenny announced earlier this year that she was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease. At the time, she said medical experts believed the disease to be Stage 2. Now, however, it seems her illness has taken a turn.
“Just left the kidney doctor. He said that I actually have stage 3A chronic kidney disease, which is right in the middle,” she said. Bethenny then explained this means she is “not quite at medication point,” but that she was advised “water is your best medicine.”
Bethenny went on to share her doctor’s concerns about supplement use and how these can impact people differently. “It’s not really a one-size-fits-all model,” she said her doctor informed her. To that end, Bethenny’s doctor advised anyone taking supplements to share this information with their own healthcare provider.
Ultimately, Bethenny said she needs to remain under the care of a kidney doctor to keep on top of her condition. “It’s important to get these tests and stay with this stuff because you could find other things,” she said of her kidney disease.
“I’m not going to be quite alarmed yet,” Bethenny continued, adding that she’ll keep drinking water. “[My doctor] said water is the most important thing. So that gives me anxiety because I’m always dehydrated.”
“So right now, this is a step in the wrong direction,” the former RHONY OG went on. “I have a little bit of a little bit anxiety, and I’m sick to my stomach, but I’m just remaining calm.”

According to a new report from Deadline, Below Deck Down Under and Summer House both hit all-time highs in February with their new seasons. Let’s start by taking a look at Below Deck.
The latest season kicked off this month with the continuation of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City crossover. Based on the numbers, it seems like we were all rushing to our screens to see Heather Gay and the rest of her pals terrorize these yachties.
The episode was the most-watched episode of Below Deck Down Under ever and the biggest numbers for a Below Deck episode in nearly three years. On Peacock, it’s currently the most-watched Below Deck episode of all time. Captain Jason Chambers should be patting himself on the back right now.
Meanwhile, the Summer House crew has also been pulling in major numbers, which is an impressive feat after ten seasons. Either this show still has a lot of momentum, or perhaps people just really wanted to watch Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula’s downfall. We’re not sure, but either way, the numbers don’t lie.
The Season 10 premiere brought in 2 million cross-platform viewers in the first seven days. It’s the most-watched season premiere in Summer House history. On Peacock, viewership shot up 46% compared to Season 9.
With numbers like these, it’s no wonder that Bravo greenlit a Summer House spinoff, starring Kyle, Amanda, and their fellow OG, Lindsay Hubbard. People want to see them, and at this rate, they’re definitely not going anywhere anytime soon.

Princess Anne carried out her royal duties with a scheduled visit to a prison — a typical event made incredibly awkward, following the arrest of her brother, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, just hours earlier.
Andrew was arrested on Thursday, February 19, which is his 66th birthday, on suspicion of misconduct in public office. The arrest was made in the wake of new details being investigated over his relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Previously, the former Prince Andrew was stripped of his royal titles and was evicted by his brother, King Charles, from his royal residence.

In the hours following the arrest, Princess Anne continued with a scheduled visit to HM Prison Leeds. The prison is a men’s category B prison — a high-security, closed institution for prisoners deemed high risk to the public. The Princess Royal is a patron of the Butler Trust, intended to “improve the management, care, and rehabilitation of offenders.”
The visit was logged in the Court Circular, which is the official record of the British Royal Family’s public engagements. However, no photos from the visit were permitted for release. Similarly, King Charles and Queen Camilla were also carrying on with royal engagements in the wake of Andrew’s arrest. Charles attended a show at London Fashion Week and later held a reception at St. James’ Palace. Camilla attended a concert and met with musicians at Sinfonia Smith Square Hall.
Following the arrest of his brother, King Charles released a statement supporting the investigation. “I have learned with the deepest concern the news about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and suspicion of misconduct in public office,” the statement began.
The monarch advocated for the “full, fair and proper process by which this issue is investigated.” He added that the police “have our full and wholehearted support and co-operation.”
“Let me state clearly: the law must take its course.”

Before taking his final breath on Thursday, Eric Danehad a message for his daughters. The Grey’s Anatomy actor died from ALS less than a year after receiving the terminal diagnosis. He recorded an interview before his time on earth ended, addressing, among others, his girls whom he fathered alongside Rebecca Gayheart. This was revealed in the latest edition of Famous Last Words.
The Euphoria actor, who was 53, leaves behind two teenage daughters: 15-year-old Billie and 14-year-old Georgia. Following his diagnosis, Eric advocated fiercely to raise awareness about Lou Gehrig’s disease, which has no cure.

Before his body and ability to speak took a turn, Eric was able to share one final message to his daughters. In a Netflix special, Famous Last Words, the actor shared this heartwarming message to his girls. “You are my heart; you are my everything. Good night. I love you. Those are my last words,” said Eric.
In the interview, Eric talks about how, when he first set eyes on Rebecca, he knew he would marry her. He also urged his daughters to live in the present, something he says took him a while to learn. “I tried. I stumbled sometimes, but I tried. Overall, we had a blast, didn’t we?” he previously said. He added that he won’t have fallen in love with another woman besides Rebecca.
She and Eric married in 2004, though she filed for divorce in 2018. Last year, though, Rebecca filed to dismiss the divorce petition. Despite their differences, Eric said in the interview that there’s always been a lot of love between them.
Eric shared that he’d been bitten by the acting bug around the girl’s current age. He told them that when they find their purpose to really go for it. His Grey’s Anatomy co-star Patrick Dempsey says that Eric’s condition deteriorated rapidly when he saw him in the hospital last week.
He also urged them to fight with everything they had and never give up. His family has asked for privacy as they deal with this difficult time.

The fabric fell in elongated panels, grazing her body with effortless movement and lending the outfit a statuesque quality. Meanwhile, the back was entirely open. A man’s neckband, crafted from the same fabric, sat around her neck in a knot.
Styled by Emma Wyman, Theron paired it with men’s trousers in virgin wool. She accessorised with My Dior ear cuff in yellow and white gold by Dior Joaillerie. On her feet were men’s suede boots from Dior. Rather than relying on embellishment or excessive layering, the look thrives on its clean lines and confident simplicity. Stallion’s makeup look was also clearly on point. She went with a natural-looking, blurred-out makeup look, with bronzer on the sides, which further accentuated her gorgeous features. American Idol alum Kelly Clarkson is making some major changes. She recently announced that she was ending her long-running daytime hit, The Kelly Clarkson Show. The announcement came after a difficult time for Kelly and her children.
Earlier this month, Kelly decided to end her show after seven seasons to spend more time with her children. In an Instagram statement, the Grammy-winner shared the news that her talk show was ending. “I have been extremely fortunate to work with such an outstanding group of people,” she wrote. “This was not an easy decision.” According to a press release, new episodes will air through the fall of 2026.

Recently, Kelly was a guest on TODAY, where she opened up about her decision. “I think everybody probably gets the timing. Our family life, the dynamic changed a bit, and it has changed for a minute now,” she told host Carson Daly. “You got kids, we’ve all got kids, and it’s one of those things when you kind of start seeing life as how precious it is, too. It’s like, ‘You know what, I’m really busy.’”
Kelly shares two children, daughter River Rose and son Remy, with her late ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock. In August 2025, Brandon passed away after a battle with cancer. Kelly continued, “I was like, ‘I know everybody thinks she’s like quitting.’ I’m like, ‘I still have other jobs, so I’m still doing stuff.’” She added, “There’s just too much on the plate, so I was like, you know what, it’s time to pull back.”
The hardest part of the decision involved her staff and crew on the show. “The crew’s been incredible. That’s what kind of sucked, everything was going well, and that’s what was really hard,” Kelly explained. “That was a really hard thing for me, but an easy decision as a momma.”
That seemed to be the leading theory until earlier this week, when she came out with a new reason behind her disfigurement. But do medical experts agree with her? Not quite.
Brandi Glanville blamed ruptured implants for her facial parasite
According to Brandi, aging breast implants caused all of the trouble in her face. She said her implants ruptured, leaking silicone inside her body. Dr. Brandi went on to say that the silicone clogged her lymph nodes, leading to a disfiguring, parasitic infection.
On the surface, that sounds like a solid explanation. However, Radar Online spoke with a few medical experts, and most of them wholly disagreed with Brandi’s claims. Her symptoms don’t align with what you’d typically see from a ruptured breast implant.
For example, a dermatologist named Dr. Tanya Nino told the outlet that if her implant had actually ruptured, there’d be localized symptoms, like lumps in the breast or “noticeable changes in breast symmetry.”
Similarly, Dr. Jeffrey Lee, a plastic surgeon, explained that facial disfiguration was not a “recognized or common consequence of implant rupture.” In addition to breast abnormalities, patients would normally experience fatigue, joint pain, or nausea. He also said it would be “highly unusual” for a parasitic infection to develop in that manner.
Another plastic surgeon, Dr. Sean T. Doherty, said there was “no scientific evidence” to support Brandi’s claims. While aging breast implants can rupture, there are no known instances of that causing the problems that Brandi described.
“What Brandi Glanville reports is not a recognized or established presentation of a ruptured saline or silicone breast implant,” Dr. Sean said. “Breast Implant Illness is a constellation of symptoms associated with breast implants, but facial lumps or irregularities are not known symptoms of BII.”
With all of that in mind, our big question about what happened to Brandi’s face still isn’t totally clear. Perhaps she’s just a medical anomaly.
A prominent figure skating coach in Texas is in some hot water. Benjamin Shroats was arrested on Wednesday following allegations of sexual misconduct with students. Among the bigger names he previously worked with in the sport was Olympic gold medallist Amber Glenn.
The 47-year-old was booked into a Collin County jail on February 18th on a $100,000 bond. Amber first worked with him when she was around nine. She previously referred to him as a rink dad or big brother, always keeping her on track. Benjamin’s reputation has taken a serious hit.

There are some disturbing allegations being thrown at Amber’s former coach. Per NBC News, police have laid two charges against Benjamin based on accounts from two different alleged victims. He’s been charged with one count of sexual assault and one count of indecency with a child.
The investigation began on February 15th after a report was filed alleging the coach had an inappropriate relationship with two of his athletes. One was apparently a minor. Police didn’t say when the alleged incidents occurred.
Benjamin is a longtime member of the Dallas Figure Skating Club. The Club’s President, Mary Pottenger, e-mailed members on Wednesday to share news of Benjamin’s arrest. She said that she knows the news is upsetting. She assured them that they take the claims very seriously. Mary notes that the club doesn’t hire coaches, but rather, lesson arrangements are made between the families and the coach.
Amber captivated audiences with her skating at the Milan Cortina Olympics. She got a video message from none other than singing icon Madonna after she skated to her hit song Like a Prayer. Amber helped the American team capture a gold medal at the games. Unfortunately, despite a near-perfect free skate in the women’s individual competition, she fell just short of the podium.
