The next season of Basketball Wives LA is going to feature a familiar face and two new ones! Evelyn Lozada confirmed that she is returning to the show!
Shaunie O’Neal has also signed on Keonna Green, who has two kids with Nick Young, and also Aja Metoyer, who shares a three year old with Dwyane Wade. Also returning for the next season are Tami Roman and Jackie Christie.
Evelyn makes the big announcement on Monday during her week-long stint as co-host on The Real. In a sneak peek of Monday’s show, Evelyn explains why she decided to return to the reality series.

She tells her co-hosts, “I know. I know what everyone’s thinking. Everyone’s like is she going crazy. This is her going backwards, but I’ve had several conversations with Shaunie about this and we just really want to change the direction of the show. I feel like a lot of the arguments and a lot of the storylines have, you know, been done before and…” She added, “we really want to add substance and depth to the show.”
Evelyn most recently starred in her own reality show, Livin’ Lozada, on OWN.

Phaedra Parks told the press just a few weeks ago that her “divorce” from Apollo Nida was final. That was news to Apollo, who just filed for divorce from his Real Housewives of Atlanta ex.
Last month after Phaedra announced that she had finalized her divorce from Apollo, there were rumors flying, alleging that she had never even filed for divorce, let alone “settled” it. And now TMZ reports that Apollo has filed papers to officially end the marriage.
Apollo filed for divorce yesterday, requesting joint custody of their two sons and wanting an equal 50/50 split of all joint assets. Not sure if Apollo is misunderstanding the meaning of JOINT custody. Joint doesn’t stand for “while you’re in the joint.” Also, I hope if he does get 50% of any assets that his half goes straight to the victims of his fraud scheme.
Apollo is likely wanting to get this divorce done and over with so he can marry his new fiance. Even though he’s in the middle of an 8 year prison term, he’s apparently in a rush to tie the knot.
Anyone else completely baffled as to why Phaedra would claim their divorce was finalized when it hadn’t even been filed yet (after claiming it was filed back in 2014)? It’s possible she wanted to make it look like a done deal as she works on her charity work and her foundation, hoping to distance herself from the felon? Who knows, it’s a head-scratcher for sure.

The writing had been on the wall for a long time. Nevertheless, it did seem like the couple was trying their best to work through their differences. Cynthia’s costar Kenya Moore opened up about the divorce and why she wasn’t as shocked as other people might have been.
I mean, they are good friends, so it make sense that Kenya would have more personal insight than the rest of us, but are they best friends? We all remember that debacle last year when Cynthia pulled a two-faced move when NeNe Leakes returned and said she and Kenya weren’t “best friends.” So, where do Kenya and Cynthia stand today? Did they get past all of that nonsense with the friendship titles from last year?

Kenya shared her insights on all things Cynthia in a revealing interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish. Was Kenya shocked by Cynthia filing for divorce? No. not at all. Kenya said, “I don’t think Cynthia announcing that she was divorcing was surprising to me because I just knew a lot of how her marriage was going.”
Kenya emphasized their strong friendship by saying, “Of course we talk on and off-camera. We’re really friends. We hang out together, whether there’s a camera around or not.” I cannot be the only one flashing back to when Cynthia decided to distance herself from Kenya as soon as NeNe reappeared last year, so I hope that Cynthia is appreciating Kenya’s friendship. especially since she’s clearly there for her during a tough time.
Nevertheless, I can never forget Cynthia being shady as hell last year and Kenya didn’t either, “I think the whole BFF-gate wasn’t blown out of proportion because people want to know, where do your loyalties lie?” Exactly! NeNe read Cynthia to filth in the press whenever she had the chance and then she shows up to steal Kenya’s spot as Cynthia’s loyal friend. Such bullshit.

“If you have been with this woman for years and you guys have been closer than ever, and then all of a sudden NeNe comes in town and you’re saying we’re still getting to know each other, it hit home with a lot of people because they were just kind of appalled that she would even say that, let alone think it.”
Kenya declared, “I think that Cynthia is and will be one of my best friends.” We all know that Kenya thinks that since we watched this whole misunderstanding go down last year during one of the episodes in Jamaica, but how would Cynthia categorize their relationship? Unfortunately, there’s no official word on that, but in regard to last year’s incident, Kenya said, “I think that we just don’t get caught up on the words anymore. I know she loves me like a sister, I love her like a sister, and I think as long as we support each other, the words are not important.”
To be honest, Kenya really does seem like she would be a good friend. She would be the absolute worst enemy to have, but having Kenya in your corner has to feel pretty good to Cynthia.

When Kyle Dixon first came on Below Deck, I found it difficult to understand him and I mean that in the most literal sense since his dialogue was often accompanied by subtitles for clarification, which made things feel even more awkward when he tried to woo his coworker Sierra Storm. Well, that didn’t go well and then Kyle revealed that he actually had a girlfriend named Ashley, who happens to be transgender. And for some insane reason Sierra thought it was a good idea to make derogatory comments about that in front of reality TV cameras.
Damn. That was stupid. Pretty much everyone forgot about Kyle trying to woo Sierra when he already had a boo at home because Sierra’s comments ended up taking center stage. Obviously, this didn’t sit well with Kyle. AT ALL.

Kyle opened up about his issues with Sierra in an interview with RadarOnline.
Kyle admitted, “I saw her a few weeks ago and tried to apologize.” I’m not sure what he’s referring to, but I assume it has something to do with basically forcing Sierra out on a date when they were both seeing other people.
Kyle took a dig at Sierra with this remark: “I see her for who she is and I don’t like her at all. She’s fairly fake – [so my apology] won’t sink in, so no [we won’t be friends].”
Kyle explained why he found Sierra‘s antics to be so offensive: “Sierra said she looked mannish and she only made that comment on the grounds that I’m attracted to transgender women as well.”

Yep, that’s definitely how it came off to me too, so I’m sure Sierra is facing a lot of heat from the viewers on social media. SMH, girl.
Kyle added, “I find that sad because I find transgender women to be women as well.” It’s nice to see someone like Kyle who is so enlightened and open-minded on reality TV. It really does make you overlook the fact that he was trying to date two different women at once and got offended when Sierra revealed that she had a love interest at home, but I’ve digressed. Clearly, I haven’t forgotten Kyle‘s relentless pursuit – IN FRONT OF REALITY TV CAMERAS – to get with Sierra behind poor Ashley‘s back.
So how does Kyle think Sierra‘s comments reflect on her as a person? He declared, “That means she’s very uneducated in life and very insecure. That’s unfair. She was attractive whether or not she was a woman. That’s irrelevant.”
It will be interesting to see how the contentious relationship between Kyle and Sierra progresses as the season goes on. I also wonder if there’s going to be a reunion episode this year. If so, you know this is going to come up.

The air is crisp, the halls are decked, and the Hallmark and Lifetime channels are trotting out their near daily holiday movies. Finally, December is upon us. Last year, we, the diehard...If you watch Don’t Be Tardy, you know that Kroy Biermann is definitely the disciplinarian when it comes to his six kids with wife Kim Zolciak Biermann. He is not a man of many words, but he means every one that he says. He also has high standards, especially when it comes to what he expects from Brielle Biermann. The same goes for Brielle’s love life. Of course, Kroy has opinions about her new(ish) boyfriend Michael Kopech.
Brielle‘s been with her boyfriend, a Boston Red Sox minor-league pitcher, for a while at this point and we know Kim thinks Michael is a mini Kroy. But does Kroy himself feels the same way?

In an interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish, Kroy explained that he doesn’t have a lot to base his opinion when it comes to assessing Michael, but that’s actually a really good thing since it is because Michael is busy working. Kroy explained, “He’s definitely a very hard worker, so I really haven’t had a whole lot of opportunity to sit down with him or hang out with him or be around him, because he has been playing a lot. From what I have been around, he is a very nice young man.”
Well, that’s good. Everyone wants their child to be with someone who is a hard worker and good influence. So I’m sure Kroy is happy about Brielle‘s pick this time.
Even though Kroy doesn’t have a ton of personal experience with Michael to form an opinion, he does think it’s a good idea for Brielle to be spending time with Michael. Kroy explained that Michael has a “good head on his shoulders, dedicated to the opportunities that he has, understands where he’s at in his life and is doing it the right way. That’s really good to see. I think it’s good for Brielle to see another person her age that is having success and how they are going about it. I think that’s helping her.”

That’s for sure. It doesn’t seem like a lot of what Kim and Kroy say in an effort to motivate Brielle really sinks in, so maybe it is better for her to be influenced on a peer level.
Kroy added, “It’s hard to relate to a parent or somebody that you don’t really know. But if you’re right next to an individual who’s doing it right there in front of you, you could kind of incorporate what they’re doing into your own life. I think they’ve been very good influences on each other so far. It’s been pretty neat to see her be excited about him.”
If Brielle is into this guy and he ends up being someone who can motivate her to work hard and reach her goals, it sounds like she picked a real winner. But only time will tell if Kim was right about Michael being just like Kroy. Hopefully he is because we all know how much being with Kroy changed Kim’s life for the better.

I have to admit that I am a part of Bachelor Nation. I watch The Bachelor and all of its spin-offs. I’m even contemplating trying out for the next season. Needless to say, I am pretty invested in the franchise. But I have to keep it real and tell you that I could not get into the “Happily Ever After” spin-off show with Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell.
Don’t get me wrong I love Ben, but I just can’t see this show getting a second season.

It’s way too contrived for me – and this is coming from a person who thinks that handing out a rose every couple of days isn’t too much, so that means a lot. I was all for Ben finding happiness and all that, but this show’s format is just a little too awkward. Plus, it really killed me when JoJo Fletcher got dragged for no reason to build up buzz.
Like I said before, I would love to be a contestant on The Bachelor, so I can hypothetically understand why Ben and Lauren would do this spin-off. I even get why they would do it again. Who wouldn’t want to get paid to hang out with their friends on TV? That seems like a pretty easy gig to me.
However, the show is very far from natural, and it isn’t nearly as entertaining as The Bachelor. So I can’t imagine that the ratings are too good.

In an interview with E! News, Lauren admitted, “We really don’t know,” which isn’t much of a hint, but it’s probably suggesting what I presume, which is that the show is on the chopping block since it wasn’t exactly a ratings winner. The only way I can really see it coming back is if they change the format and just make it about the wedding planning. That is something the Bachelor Nation fans would love to watch.
Lauren also said, “We’re trying not to think too far. Until that’s something that’s actually presented to us, we haven’t really even thought about it.” Yep, exactly what I thought. There probably isn’t an offer on the table at this point.
Whether this show is good or not, I would not be surprised to hear what happens either way. On one hand, there’s always a lot of people willing to watch Bachelor-related content. Then, on the other (very obvious) hand, this show is not good. So who know what will actually happen. I would be down for a spin-off with JoJo and Jordan Rodgers though. I have faith in them to provide some entertaining television.
