Creative destruction isn’t worth accelerating a trend toward Caesarism.I don’t know about y’all, but I am enjoying the new blood on this season of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills even though they may not be enjoying each other! Erika Girardi is certainly rubbing Kathryn Edwards the wrong way, even if Kathryn finds her alter ego Erika Jayne to be quite fierce. In fact the newbie has a lot to say in regard to all the c-u-next-Tuesday discussion and Ericka’s bold faced lie about what she said to Yolanda Foster about Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards.
Beginning her Bravo blog, she writes, “Hello Everybody! Another week, and it seems like things are getting a little colorful–and I mean that in quite a few ways. First we get to see the ladies go for a Cryo treatment. This is quite a popular thing to do in Los Angeles now. I know, I know…what the heck is next? I haven’t tried it yet, but I know a lot of people who have, and everyone says great things. I’m game! The lunch after the cryo freezing…that was awkward for me to watch, especially after knowing what I know now. Lisa Rinna told Yolanda that Kyle and Lisa VDP ‘lightly’ discussed the kids…she didn’t say any more than that. Lisa Rinna didn’t implicate Lisa VDP or Kyle in any way, BUT Erika did. Why? What was the point of starting trouble like that in the group? I can totally understand Yolanda being upset if she believes that Lisa VDP and Kyle were speaking about her kids, but I don’t think it was malicious at all. Lisa VDP said that Yolanda’s ex-husband told her the kids are healthy. Maybe Mohammed doesn’t want to share that with anyone…who knows…but it wasn’t Lisa VDP or Kyle calling anyone a liar or discrediting someone’s illness.”
Kathryn continues, “Erika has a lot to say about us behind our backs…why wouldn’t she say anything to my face when I said I didn’t like the word ‘c—‘ at the Moulin Rouge party? Why not take the time to tell me what it means to you when we are getting to know each other? I had never heard of the word ‘c—y’ until I saw Erika’s necklace the night of her performance at Rich’s. Once she explained it to us–that it was more of a adjective rather than a noun–we all kind of said OK, fair enough. It may not be a word that any of us “old ladies” choose to use, but ya never know…if the shoe fits.”
She adds, “It’s ironic to me that she said that all of us old ladies talk about each other’s husbands, kids, health, etc. I haven’t said one word about any of those topics, and what I have said to anyone has been to their face, but Erika has indulged in some chatter. I don’t pull punches, I’m very straight forward until I see some bullsh– and then, please, let me call you on it. I also had a good chuckle with the fact that Erika’s necklace had to be blurred out and her language has to be bleeped. Clearly I’m not the only one that feels that word could be offensive. Final word on the ‘word’…it’s definitely lost the shock value it had on me after hearing it as much as I did. I don’t care if I’m ‘old and narrow and conservative’ for reacting to it in that fashion. There are a lot of us who feel that way. It’s not something that I hear from many people other than Erika…it just took some getting used to. I think she wears it well. I’m not offended, and if I was…I’d say so.”
I must admit, I loved the scene with Eileen Davidson and Kathryn at lunch. She agrees, sharing, “My lunch with Eileen was so nice, I thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent. As I said before, Eileen was someone I really liked right off the bat. She seems like a natural, down to earth person with a good sense of humor, my type of girl. We had a good chuckle about her dating my ex. I’m not a jealous person, and I thought it was funny. I hate to admit this, but I don’t usually use a budget when I decorate or remodel. I know what things cost for the most part, and I’m usually very close to what I say we will spend. If Donnie tells me to cut it back, I do. I don’t hide purchases from him. I’m honest, and he appreciates that. As for Eileen’s ‘janky’ bag…we had an even bigger laugh at that! She was so funny, I really don’t care if someone doesn’t want to carry a nice handbag…it’s just that I don’t understand it, LOL!”
I bet Eileen’s husband Vince is feeling a little better about Eileen’s dress that cost a few hundred bucks if she’s saving money on bags! Kathryn teases, “Eileen’s handbag’s became a running joke throughout this season, and Kyle was kind enough to give her a beautiful bag from her store–whew! I wish I didn’t like bags as much as I do, but I have two sisters and a niece who benefit from the ones I part with, so I don’t feel so guilty. They get a ton of use. It’s all about cost averaging! I want everyone to know that I was joking when I made the comment about a ‘disabled parking’ placard. I’m deaf in one ear but by no means do I consider myself disabled…it was a joke, but I don’t know if my dry sense of humor was apparent there. I can’t wait for you all to see my ear doctor appointment! For anyone who suffers from hearing loss in one ear, there’s something out there for us now, and I can’t wait to share it with you.”
She concludes, “San Diego! My home away from home! We were so ready for Erika’s concert, wild horses couldn’t have kept us away. When we got to Rich’s and entered the building…dang! All I saw were bare asses and leather straps. OK, giddup cowboy…let’s get this show on the road. I have to say, I don’t go to a lot of gay nightclubs.I don’t get a lot of invitations for them, but make no mistake about it, they let it go, and it was a fun time! I’d definitely go back to Rich’s. I met a lot of great people there, and Erika’s performance was fabulous. She looked every bit of the goddess I expected and then some. When we finally sat down for a cocktail after the concert, it didn’t take long for the question to come up as to who spread the lie to Yolanda. Clearly, a lot of sh– has started, and if everyone is honest and owns their share in it, we should be able to move on and put it past us…that wasn’t the case. I was really surprised to see Erika blatantly lying about it…why? Why not just own it and move on? She has to know it’s going to come out sooner or later. I usually think I get a good read on people, and I wouldn’t have pegged Erika for being this way. It makes me question whether she has any intention of being friends with us…we’ll see. I hope I’m wrong with what I saw tonight.”
I like Kathryn. She seems like a straight shooter…and let’s be honest, I’m a fan of anyone who isn’t a fan of Faye!

Well, Sonja is now speaking out about the booze and girl drama going down with her Real Housewives Of New York co-star. But Sonja insists she’s not about to let a business venture destroy a friendship! Bethenny doesn’t seem to share Sonja’s ethics!

While appearing as a guest on Kocktails With Khloe (and abstaining from kocktails), Sonja reveals a change is in the future name for the alcohol division of Sonja Morgan International Luxury Lifestyle Brands. “I have to do something about the name,” she acknowledged. “My girlfriend Bethenny wasn’t thrilled with that.”
Sonja maintains the moniker was a mere coincidence. “It didn’t hit me, and then Bethenny was like, ‘Uh, I don’t like that.’ And I was like, ‘Oops, OK. We need to go back to the drawing board and figure something out that doesn’t come between my friendship. You know, I love the name, and I want to work.”
Demurring from any comments on legality or what may or may not be happening in court, Sonja explained,”I need to drop the word ‘girl,’ but my partners already trademarked that almost a year ago.”
“I’m just trying to work,” Sonja adds.
As for the rest of her very-varied businesses, Sonja insists it’s all “coming together at this ripe old age.” Well ummm… were Sonja Morgan Fashions on display at New York Fashion Week?
The only conflict of interest I see is that both Bethenny and Sonja star on Real Housewives Of New York, and that could create possible confusion? But the labels look absolutely NOTHING alike, and furthermore, Bethenny doesn’t sell or promote sparkling wines or champagnes. It’s important to note it’s not Jim Beam filing the papers – it was Bethenny’s division of the Skinnygirl LLC, so the actual company that holds the liquor rights wasn’t bothered by Sonja’s Tipsy Girl product. Because duh – a 35,000 zillion products contain the words girl in them. Yes, even other alcohols!

Kenya Moore hasn’t had the best luck in the romance department since she joined The Real Housewives of Atlanta, but she’s not letting that deter her from sharing her new man, Matt Jordan. The RHOA star dishes on her love life, her baby plans and the drama coming up in Jamaica.
In an interview with ET, Kenya revealed that things are going good with Matt so far. “It’s going well. I have learned from my mistakes, and I definitely just go one step at a time. I don’t try to dream anymore, I just live in the moment, and it just seems to be working for me right now.”
Kenya isn’t afraid to show her relationships on air, no matter how things end up. “[After Walter], I dated quietly, and then that became, ‘Oh, she’s making people up now!'” Kenya says. “You know, ‘Oh, she’s paying people.’ … or it’s, ‘She can’t get a man,’ you know? And I’m just tired of it, and I just felt like, I’m taking my life back.” She continues, “If the relationship ends well, if it doesn’t, it’s my life. Millions of women go through the same thing every day, so I’m no different. I’m just doing it on TV.”

When asked if she’s still trying to have a baby, Kenya coyly replies “Ask me in about 60 days.” She doesn’t confirm or deny if Matt has volunteered to be the baby daddy.
Kenya is hopeful that she’ll get pregnant during her time off from the show. “You know, you have to be on a schedule, and you have to be tested at a very specific time. And it just never worked out while I was filming, and so I just decided to do it while I’m not [filming], and we’ll see. Kandi [Burruss] did it while she wasn’t filming, and I figured this is the best way for me to do it.”
Real Housewives of Atlanta returns on Sunday night and Kenya says that it’s going to be dramatic and confrontational, as per usual. “It is going down in Jamaica. Oh, from my guy getting into it with Peter [Thomas], to me and Cynthia having it out about the whole, ‘I’m not your friend comment,’ to, you know, the final draw with Kim, it is just an epic showdown.”

Kandi gave birth to her son January 6, along with hubby Todd Tucker. The couple revealed their baby’s name to E! News a short time later, noting, ““We named our beautiful baby boy Ace because I wanted something unique. When he becomes school age, hopefully he won’t have to worry about another person in the class having his name. More than that, Ace represents the number 1 and that of the high quality and our baby Ace is definitely that! His middle name Wells was Todd’s mother’s last name. Using her last name as his middle name was our way of honoring her memory.”

The reality TV couple, who were hoping for a boy, shared on the day of Ace’s birth that he was the gift they’d been waiting for. Kandi said, “Todd and I have been waiting so long for his delivery and he is so very perfect.”

Lisa Vanderpump is again defending and explaining herself in regard to Bella and Anwar’s Lyme situation and is frustrated over the whole mess. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star starts this week’s blog, “Here we are once more. Hold my hand as I lead you down the path of this complicated journey.”
On Cryotherapy, Lisa was just trying to be a good sport for Yolanda’s sake. “Of course it was an incredibly strange experience, but the invitation had been extended, and I accepted, albeit reluctantly, but I wanted to connect with her and feel we were supporting her in her quest for well being. As we left, I felt a giddiness, one from the experience, but mainly from the giggles and the fact that we all bonded in such a positive way. I had no idea what was about to ensue. Lunch was ordered and medical records were served.”
Lisa wasn’t impressed with the accusations made at lunch, “They were placed in front of me with an accusation that was unjust…I had no idea how Yolanda had reached this conclusion that I would speculate about Bella and Anwar’s constitution. I would never bring somebody’s children (especially their health) into this very public forum, but Yolanda did…twice…of her OWN volition. She announced that they we were infected with Lyme disease, volunteered the information, first when we had drinks and were introduced to Erika.The second time was with Kyle in the park. Now the first time, initially, I believed was inadvertent. It was just prior to her surgery and she was emotional, she had been talking about her will and survival, and I believed, as sometimes happens, as moments are often captured, you only realize later, often with regret.” (And don’t forget she also announced it at the gala event later on)
Lisa continues, “That was how I perceived this situation to be, but when I saw her consciously initiate the conversation in the park, once more the subject was brought to the forefront which surprised me greatly. As I viewed this, I was incredulous. She has stated don’t bring my kids into this, but she did, twice. At the barbecue, I was asked questions about my perspective, having known the family for years. My understanding was they were healthy until Yolanda informed me otherwise. What else was I supposed to do? Lie? Say I knew nothing? I tried to shut it down, reticent to indulge in a conversation that was really none of my business. Furthermore there was no point in implicating Kyle by stating she questioned me. What was the point? I would deal with this alone. I have loved those children and seeing them prosper from the show and reach their goals has made me very happy, and I am deeply saddened that anyone would think I had nothing but good intentions for them. At some point two years ago I vociferously defended Bella against negativity because of that exact sentiment.”

Lisa says you can be on the show and not give up every minute detail about your children’s health, “My children have opened their lives to some extent. Max has spoken openly about the precarious subject of his adoption, which could have repercussions. Pandora has willingly let us follow her relationship with Jason as they embarked on their lives together, but not once have I revealed personal details about their health and physicality. If they were struggling, it would be their choice if they chose to share it in this incredibly public domain–one that has a ripple effect, as articles and blogs are created from what is documented.”
On Erika instigating and exaggerating what was really said, “I was aware that Lisa [Rinna] had remorse for instigating the conversation regarding Munchausens and was eager to purge her guilt to Yolanda. There had been an inordinate amount of chatter to which I was aware, many opinions over the last couple of years, about the plethora of daily photographs that Yolanda had posted. I never wanted to indulge, but honestly I had sometimes been drawn in, mystified and commented, maybe a few times, but as my loyalty lay with Mohamed and whenever this subject was raised, between Mohamed and me, it was with the utmost respect. So Yolanda had loyalty to her informer, Erika, except Erika had grossly overstated my intent. Had she repeated the scenario in a productive way, hypothetically she would’ve stated “Lisa Vanderpump was uncomfortably trying to shut down a conversation.” Instead, she exacerbated a contentious situation. Yolanda then was guilty by omission as she inferred it was Lisa R who passed this on. Not so.” Lisa says it’s a complicated scenario and nobody wins.
Lisa doesn’t get why newbie Erika is so judgmental of the cast after they’ve been so welcoming to her, “We enjoyed the frivolity of the evening and were well entertained by Erika. It would have been easier for Erika to have admitted her doing but understandably the after party was probably not the place. I don’t know why Erika is so judgmental of us all. She would be an easy target as the newbie, but we have welcomed her into this group with open arms, and no, I am not some narrow-minded BH old lady as I have created some of the most innovative gay venues in London, but one more insult as we proceed onwards to join the others.”

Munik ganhou a liderança na noite da última quinta-feira e já está articulando votos com Ana Paula e Cacau. As três conversaram no início da tarde desta sexta e pensaram em uma composição ideial para o paredão, que elas querem que seja entre Daniel e Renan.
— Minha primeira opção é o Daniel, independente de eu ser protegida ou não. Eu quero que ele saia. Temos que colocar alguém mais forte que ele. Para mim é o Renan — justifica Munik, sobre Renan, que tem tentado beijar nas últimas festas.
Munik considera que tem dois votos garantidos da casa, Daniel e Juliana, sua segunda opção de voto, e teme ir para o paredão também. Ana Paula pensa em como proteger os aliados.
— Vou fazer de tudo para o Ronan não ir, porque não quero perder um aliado aqui. Se a gente colocar o Ronan agora, é um tiro no pé. Porque se semana que vem a gente não ganhar mais nada, não temos o que fazer. Estamos com a faca e o queijo na mão agora — pensa Ana Paula, que acha que os participantes consideram ela forte: — Os seus votos, Munik, não vão para mim, porque eles votam em você, pois consideram você fraca. Se a gente ganhar o anjo, damos para você.
A sister que voltou do quarto secreto também acredita que o público está do lado do grupo deles.
— Tem o jogo aqui e o jogo lá fora. O público não vai achar isso que a gente está fazendo errado. Eles viram o que aconteceu com a gente aqui. Viram que a guerra começou do lado deles. Viram eles me botando com o Ronan — argumenta Ana Paula.
Em conversa na varanda da casa do “BBB”, Daniel já sonha com o fim do confinamento. Ele, Renan e Matheus já estão querendo arrumar um churrasco para eles em outra casa, digamos, menos vigiada.
— A casa em Búzios, que aluguei um quarto uma vez, agora quero alugar ela toda. Aí a gente faz um churrascão, com cerveja, vodka, bota um sonzinho e fica o dia todo assim — planeja Daniel.
O mineiro Matheus logo se empolga:
— Po, Búzios só tem casa maneira.
O carioca ainda completa:
— Aí eu peço para a Tatá chamar as amigas delas. As amigas dela são só... — completa ele, fazendo sinal positivo com a cabeça.
A Tatá em questão é a modelo Thayna Brito, affair de Daniel, que tem organizado torcida por ele fora da casa.
Na manhã desta sexta-feira, os participantes do “BBB 16” conversavam enquanto esperavam para ser chamados para a tradicional prova que dá direito a refrigerantes para alguns deles. O assunto foi parar na demora por atendimento e pessoas que furam fila. Adélia foi enfática na sua opinião.
— Ah, eu falo logo: “Meu amigo, eu sou invisível aqui? Você é pago para trabalhar — comentou em voz alta a sister, que é advogada especialista em direito do consumidor.
Matheus reagiu na hora:
— Sério, Adélia. Você faz isso mesmo? — perguntou ele surpreso e rindo.
Adélia se justificou para Daniel, que também ficou surpreso com a postura que disse que toma fora da casa.
— Você acha isso estranho porque você é do Rio, Daniel. Lá o pessoal é muito “deixa a vida me levar”. Em São Paulo, cada minuto é dinheiro — explicou a sister, que é da cidade paulista de Suzano.
Correndo pela casa e acordando os outros participantes aos berros, o retorno de Ana Paula ao convívio dos outros confinados no “Big Brother Brasil 16” já se tornou um momento histórico do programa. O escândalo que ela fez e os embates com a líder Juliana, que a indicou ao paredão, e com Renan, que reiterou que a considera uma patricinha e insuportável, lembraram os ataques da inesquecível Tina, a batedora de panela do “BBB 2”.
Atualmente morando em Barcelona, na Espanha, a loura aprova a reação da jornalista, que contou a todos ter passado dois dias em um quarto vendo e ouvindo tudo o que era dito na casa.
— Ana Paula pode se dar bem com essa jogada. Ela teve a chance de ver o que os telespectadores veem e isso pode beneficiá-la muito — opina Tina, sem condenar o embate de Ana Paula com seus rivais : — Acho que ela fez certo de brigar pelos direitos dela. E se as pessoas falaram mal pelas costas, ela tem mais é que bater de frente mesmo.
Para a ex-BBB, no entanto, uma das desvantagens de voltar para o jogo é que a convivências com os brothers, inevitavelmente, piora a partir de agora.
— Se estava ruim, vai ficar pior. Mas, se ela for inteligente e tiver um pouco de noção, já que é uma mulher de 34 anos e madura, e não uma jovem de 22 como eu era na época, não vai dar um tiro no escuro — aposta Tina, que levanta a bandeira da mineira de “se comprometer’’: — Ela tem que ter aliados mesmo. Ninguém chega a lugar algum sozinho. Mas ela precisa ter o cuidado de não pegar uma pessoa forte igual a ela e bater de frente. Ela precisa focar nos mais fracos primeiro.
Atualmente casada e mãe de dois filhos, Tina pondera que hoje não agiria de maneira tão inflamada.
— A personalidade é a mesma, mas eu acho que hoje eu escutaria mais.

The Bachelor star Ben Higgins reportedly slept with all three of his final bachelorettes.Horas depois de a casa do “Big Brother Brasil 16” viver as fortes emoções da volta escandalosa de Ana Paula, todos os confinados foram submetidos a uma prova de liderança que exigiu agilidade, memória e conhecimento sobre novelas. Depois de 15 perguntas, Munik conquistou a liderança da casa.
A primeira pergunta foi sobre a tradicional cena da primeira versão de “Guerra dos sexos”, do café da manhã entre Charlô (Fernanda Montenegro) e Otávio (Paulo Autran). Cacau acabou errando e foi a primeira eliminada da competição.
Enquanto que na segunda e terceira perguntas todos acertaram, na quarta, sobre a novela “Paraíso tropical”, Tamiel, Ronan, Renan, Daniel e Adélia responderam errado e também deixaram o jogo.
A disputa avançou e as três últimas concorrentes eram Geralda, Munik e Ana Paula. Na pergunta sobre “Império”, a professora aposentada acabou se atrapalhando e foi eliminada. Em seguida, a a competição ficou acirrada com Ana Paula e Munik, acertando seis perguntas seguidas até que a goiana foi melhor na questão sobre “Amor à vida”
Ao ser anunciado o resultado, Ana Paula correu para abraçar a amiga e respirou com o fato da liderança ter ficado com o seu grupo.
“ Na hora que falou o resultado, eu fiquei aliviada”, confessou Munik.
