When self-described “D-List” celebrity and co-host of “The Talk,” Jerry O’Connell, shows up to talk with Julie Chen Moonves about his thoughts on this season, you just know that it must have been a slow week in the Celebrity Big Brother house. That didn’t stop CBS from filling two-hours of television Friday night! And while there was a lot of filler (like segments showing Lamar Odom trying to use an electric stove, and the seemingly random O’Connell interview), there was also some major in-game developments as well.
Most saddening of all, the life of the house and the man destined to win the fan-voted “America’s Favorite Houseguest” prize, Carson Kressley, was finally ousted from the game. Miesha Tate had been gunning for him from day one, and she finally got her wish seeing him sent out the door as part of Todd Bridges‘ surprise HOH reign. Due to Todd’s lack of game knowledge, Carson and his BFF Cynthia Bailey were given a lifeline when Todd failed to put them both up on the block together, which meant that if Cynthia could pull out a POV win, she could keep both herself and Carson safe, which would ultimately lead to either Miesha or Todrick Hall being put up on the block as a replacement. But she failed to win the POV shell game competition and instead – who else? – Miesha won POV ensuring that noms would stay the same.
Carson didn’t go down without a fight however. He first attempted to make a final four deal with Miesha and Todrick before finally pleading to Todrick separately and offering him up a sweet deal: If Todrick would vote to keep Carson in the game, then Carson and Cynthia would guarantee their jury votes for Todrick should he make it to the end. Carson only needed one more vote to stay, so if Todrick would have agreed to this deal, it wouldn’t have even mattered what Miesha would have wanted. You may remember that on her way out of the house, Shanna Moakler promised to taint the jury pool against Todrick so pledging him two sure-thing jury votes wasn’t a bad idea. But in the end his bond was too strong with Miesha, and Carson wasn’t able to keep himself in the house.
Lamar got some air time tonight, not only for that stove segment, but also with a heart-breaking scene opposite Todrick. He spoke about losing his mom at just age 12, and also about his infant child that he lost to SIDS. It was a stark reminder to all of us watching that these are real people with real-world problems, and if there is anybody at all who should maybe be cut some slack for “being distant” from the game inside the Big Brother house, maybe that person is Lamar Odom.
The exit of Carson from the game leaves things wide open for Miesha and Todrick, but there doesn’t appear to be a snowball’s chance in hell that Todrick would win if up at the end against Miesha. Miesha has been dominant all season in challenges, and even her arch-nemesis in the game, Carson, had nice things to say about her after he left…heck, she was able to convince Carson based on just her words, even over the actions of Shanna! Shanna clearly does not want Todrick to win, which means that her ousted ally Chris Kirkpatrick probably doesn’t want him to win either. It’s hard to see a scenario where Todrick would get enough jury votes to win the game, and with this jury all but guaranteed to stay bitter, he may have found himself in a situation where he can not possibly win regardless of his actions from here on out. Miesha – who we found out has been dominating Big Brother while simultaneously training for a fight, sticking to a strict diet and tasked with dropping down in weight class – is really on a war path to win this thing…she’s even got Todd on her side, although there was a bit of friction/annoyance with her towards Lamar that was shown tonight. Even if Cynthia were to win HOH and put her up against Todrick, would Todd and Lamar vote her out?
Something else of note from tonight, was on the heels of the historic “Cookout” alliance that we all witnessed on Big Brother last Summer, it’s important to note that four of the remaining five houseguests this season are African-American. Wouldn’t that be cool if a secret “Cookout 2.0” alliance was revealed at Finale? Expect the unexpected!
The episode ended with some much-needed messages from home for each of the final five houseguests. These moments always tug at the heart-strings, and pretty much everyone in the game was shown crying happy tears. We’re down to just five days left in the game, so this love from the outside world might be the fuel that these people need to reach the finish line, not that Miesha needed any additional fuel.
By the way, if you’re interested in voting for “America’s Favorite Houseguest,” you can text the name of the person you want to vote for to 21523. The winner of this award will be revealed live on Finale night next Wednesday, February 23rd. I’m not sure how it can’t be Carson Kressley, but we shall see.
It was also revealed how the final stretch of episodes will play out. Tomorrow (Saturday, 2/19), there will be a special “highlight” episode of never-before-seen moments in the house (RECAP NOTE: There won’t be a Recap of this highlight episode and we’ll resume recapping following Sunday’s new episode). On Sunday, 2/20, we will see the next HOH competition play out and who is nominated for eviction. Then on Monday, 2/21, there will be a two-hour live episode where we will have this season’s one and only Double Eviction, where not one but TWO houseguests will be sent home. That will whittle us down to just three houseguests remaining as we go into the Finale on Wednesday, 2/23.
You’ve come this far…let’s ride this thing out together! I say it’s Miesha‘s game to lose at this point, and I don’t quite see a way where she’s not going to make it to the end. What are your thoughts? Sound off in the comments below!

E! has affiliate...An unlikely Todd Bridges, who has slept his way through most of the Celebrity Big Brother 3 experience, won the latest Head of Household and holds the power right now. After easily sweeping the victory in the HOH competition, Todd nominated Carson Kressley and Lamar Odom to the block for eviction.
Lamar is Todd’s closest ally in the Big Brother house, so we don’t expect him to target Lamar for eviction. Carson, however, has been on the radar as a threat since the beginning of the game. Will Todd be the “sleeper” celebrity to finally evict Carson? Unless Carson or his only ally, Cynthia Bailey, wins the Power of Veto tonight, his time in the house is limited.
Carson and Cynthia believe they may still have a shot of saving their game together. If Cynthia can win the Power of Veto, she can take Carson off the block and be safe from eviction herself.
Todd didn’t want to nominate Cynthia with Carson because he may need her help somewhere down the line. He wants to keep that favor open if it is possibly needed later in the Big Brother game.
This Power of Veto will determine the fate of Carson and possibly Cynthia. This is a “do or die” situation in the Celebrity Big Brother 3 game.
This game is called Ego Veto, and here is how it works. In each round, the cartoon veto medallion will jump into one of three identical objects. These objects will be shuffled around. Once they finally stop, the players must pick which object the veto is in. For each correct answer, the players are awarded one point. The players with the most points after seven rounds win the golden power of veto.
After round one, only Todd and Cynthia gained points. In round two, Todd, Meisha Tate, and Todrick Hall received a point. Round three’s points went to four of the celebrities, and Todd is in the lead. He has gained points in each round so far.
Meisha and Todrick received the points in round four. Next, in round 5, everyone except Lamar and Todd received points. Round six saw Todd, Meisha, and Todrick win points. In the final round, Meisha and Todd received points. Therefore, Meisha won the golden power of veto.
Carson and Cynthia know that both of their games are in serious trouble, especially Carson’s. Carson spoke to Lamar in the workout room and suggested that he should team up with Cynthia if and when he is evicted this round. Lamar didn’t seem too keen on the idea. Carson was just trying to help further along with Cynthia’s game after he is gone.
A new twist may breathe life into Carson’s game. It appears that Meisha is quite irritated with Lamar right now. During the last POV competition, Lamar kept talking while they were all concentrating trying to follow the objects. She blatantly told Lamar that he was disrupting her game, and he didn’t really seem to care.
Carson and Cynthia wonder if they can use this to their advantage. If Meisha is irritated with Lamar and doesn’t like his attitude, maybe a seed could be planted to vote out Lamar instead of Carson. They only need two celebrities to vote for Lamar, and he is gone tonight.
Cynthia and Carson met with Meisha privately to try and convince her to keep the nominations the same. They feel that if they keep the nominations the same, they can get Lamar out. They did not even think to ask Meisha to take Carson off the block.
At the POV ceremony, Meisha decided NOT to use the golden power of veto and to keep the nominations the same. This means that either Carson or Lamar will be evicted from the house. Carson thinks he can stay in the house because he has Cynthia’s vote, and he would only need one other vote to stay.
The talk host, Jerry O’Connell stopped by the Big Brother house to have a sit-down chat with host Julie Chen Moonves. He is a self-described super fan of the show. Jerry admitted that he was shocked that Chris Kirkpatrick left the show so early because he thought Chris would win the game. He was also surprised that Shanna was targeted by Carson after she saved him from the block.
Todrick and Meisha decided that if they win the next HOH, they will target Todd for eviction. The reason is simple. They believe Todd will come after them if he continues to win competitions in the Big Brother house.
Carson and Cynthia pulled Todrick to the side to talk game with him. Their pitch to him was that they feel he will be in the final two. They offered that if he keeps Carson in the game this round, they will guarantee him two jury votes. That is a pretty powerful offer.
Todrick immediately went to Meisha and spilled the beans about his talk with Carson and Cynthia. Meisha doesn’t like the offer, but she also knows this will be up to Todrick in the end. This is anyone’s game right now.
The Celebrity Big Brother houseguests voted as follows:
Meisha voted to evict Carson
Cynthia voted to evict Lamar
Todrick voted to evict Carson
By a vote of 2 to 1, Carson was evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house. During his exit interview with Julie, Carson admitted he made a mistake by getting rid of Shanna Moakley over Meisha. He made that realization just today, and it was just too late to save his game. He is rooting for his BFF, Cynthia, to win Celebrity Big Brother.
After 24 days in the Big Brother house, Julie treated the houseguests to a surprise remote visit from their friends and family members. All of the remaining 5 celebrities were emotional and so thankful for the messages from their loved ones.

I’m so glad Heather Dubrow is back on Real Housewives of Orange County. Fancy Pants has been my personal fav since she first waltzed on to the show. Anyone who drinks champs on the regular, plans parties with lists, and calls out someone for stealing icing off a cake with their fingers, is my kind of people. Sorry. Not Sorry.
Does Heather talk about money a bit too much. Perhaps. However, you’ve got to love someone who loves her family so fiercely. Maybe it’s because I have the same set up she does. A set of twins, plus two younger singletons, (albeit mine are all within 4 years), but I digress. From what we’ve seen her kids are polite, respectful, and assured of their parents’ support. Not an easy task.
While I love having Heather back on RHOC, I’m not as jazzed about newbie Noella Bergener. She is not my glass of champs. She talks about herself waaaay too much. Is thirstier than ex-friend Braunwyn Windham-Burke. (Even Emily Simpson says so). And is incapable of owning her own mistakes, regardless of whether Shannon Beador thinks she made one or not.
Take this week’s episode. Jen Armstrong is fresh of a doozy of a fight with husband, Ryan Ryne Holliday, questioning her marriage and looking for the support of her ‘friends.’ Everyone is being supportive and positive. Even Gina Kirschenheiter, who arguably went through one of the worst divorce experiences, is sharing what worked for her. Everyone that is, except for Noella.
Girlfriend found a way to turn the whole conversation around and right back to herself. Telling Dr. Jen that her husband, who already returned home, has probably gotten counsel, is not a good look. Talking about how the same thing happened to her 6 weeks ago ad nauseum, is not a good look. Especially when the two experiences were not, at all, the same. Ugh.
Quick aside, did you catch that Jen and Ryne went to the same marriage boot camp as Shannon and David Beador? Gravesites included? I’m thinking that may not be the place one should go to in the OC if one’s marriage is suffering. No?
Back to the Noella of it all. Remember when she gave Heather‘s daughter Max Dubrow a completely inappropriate LGBTQ gift at her book signing? And how defensive Noella got when Heather told her it was inappropriate. It was wrong, whatever your intentions were, you made a mistake. Own it.
I thought we were going to put that bruhaha behind us. After all, an apology, of sorts, was given. But not Noella. Girl can’t let a sleeping dog lie. It appears that Noella found, and posted, a screen shot taken from an old YouTube Channel of Heathers‘. And not just any screen shot, but a screen shot that shows the Dubrow‘s game room. And one of the many games in the background is Cards Against Humanity.
For those who don’t know, Cards Against Humanity is an adult card game, very similar to the LGTBQ game described by Heather on RHOC. A question is asked, and everyone selects a very inappropriate answer to that question. The person reading the question picks the best anonymously submitted answer.
It’s a whole lot of fun. We have it at my house. We play it with other grown-ups when we have friends over. Our children don’t play it. They play the Family Version. That is age appropriate. I’m just guessing, but I think Noella is making a mountain out of a molehill, and that things probably work the same way at Heather‘s house. Just saying.
Heather was asked by a fan, on Watch What Happens Live and shared to Twitter, what her thoughts were about Noella posting that clip. “Yeah, so it’s a very interesting clip that she posted, and I can’t wait to talk about it at the reunion.” Here’s the thing, when you have the truth and honesty and authenticity on your side it all kind[s] of works out appropriately. And when you are looking for some like, some crazy smoking gun, or like whatever… we’ll just see how it all pans out.” Now that’s how you get the last word.
And now, I can’t wait for the reunion. Which I guess was the point of all this teasing.

There are two sides to every story. In this sneak peek of the second part of the Sister Wives One-on-One special, which airs Feb. 20 on TLC, Kody Brown shares his perspective on what...During the Season 12 premiere of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, Margaret Josephs told Jennifer Aydin that her husband, Bill Aydin, was cheating on her with someone from his medical office. Jennifer maintained her composure and corrected Margaret. It was actually with a pharmaceutical rep. Margaret is lucky that she didn’t end up the pool.
While Jennifer thought that her husband’s affair was in the vault, Margaret wasn’t the only RHONJ star who knew about it. Apparently, Melissa Gorga also heard the whispers about Bill.
Jennifer found out about the affair 10 years ago when she was pregnant with her fourth child. She decided to never tell a soul about Bill’s indiscretion. “I was able to do it for the greater good of my family,” Jennifer explained.
Jennifer repeatedly slut-shamed Margaret, so it was only a matter of time before Margaret spilled all the tea. She decided to reveal the affair on camera because Jennifer was not being honest and was being a hypocrite.
During a recent episode of RHONJ, Jennifer became upset at Dolores Catania’s housewarming party. When Jackie Goldschneider was being supportive of Jennifer, Margaret decided to drop another bomb.
Margaret told Jackie that last season, Jennifer was trying to obtain information about Jackie’s husband, Evan Goldschneider, and his supposed affair. And that Jennifer asked Dolores’ ex-husband, Frank Catania, for information about Evan’s supposed side chick.
Last season, Teresa Giudice decided to spread a rumor that Evan was cheating with someone at the gym. An enraged Jackie shot back with the analogy heard around the world. Jackie said that she heard that Teresa’s daughter, Gia Giudice, did cocaine at parties. Of course, Teresa had no receipts, and she was infuriated that Jackie made an analogy about her daughter. The gossip caused strife in Jackie and Evan’s marriage.
Frank has a tight bond with all the Jersey husbands. Frank responded to Margaret’s claim in his Instagram Story. @realhousewiveszone posted a screenshot of his comments. “Just to clarify, I was still of the absolute position that @evangoldschneider never cheated on @jackiegoldschneider so there is no possibility that I knew of any woman or said anything of such to anyone.”
Jennifer fired back at Frank’s denial. Rhonjsource posted a side-by-side screenshot of Frank and Jennifer’s comments. Jennifer wrote, “I want you all to think about this…How would I think to ask Frank these things if it didn’t come from him first? Oh, btw, he admits it in the Aftershow…#youcanttakeithowhonestiam,” she stated. “Vindication coming soon [I don’t believe the rumor-or Frank] Just to clarify…”
According to Reality Blurb!, Jennifer addressed why she was looking for dirt on Evan during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live. “I called Frank for a Shore property and while I had him on the phone, I was like, ‘How was your dinner with Bill last night?’ So, he told me, ‘You know this girl? I thought this girl didn’t exist,’” Jennifer explained. “And he didn’t tell me anything. I didn’t call around Tenafly. So, I had a girlfriend who sells beautiful invitations and because she was a friend and somebody that I trusted,” she added.
Jennifer said that at that time, Teresa was still furious with Jackie. “She was very angry, I love my friend Teresa. I value our friendship and I wanted to appease my friend so I asked somebody and it got me in trouble,” Jennifer remarked. “But that’s my friend!” Jennifer admitted that she “should never have done that.” Duh.

It's official--the Upper East Side is basically turning into Stars Hollow. Season four of Gilmore Girls The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel has finally arrived on Prime Video, and with it...Erika Jayne certainly has reason to change her perspective on life and love. After filing divorce from her husband of 20+ years, Tom Girardi, she found herself in the middle of a giant scandal that is bigger than just Bravo. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has been dragged into Tom’s legal battle. Tom, a once powerful attorney, was accused of fraud and embezzlement in the misappropriation of client funds.
The allegations against him were shocking and Erika is being accused of having knowledge of his misdeeds. Which she has always denied. Despite remaining stoic and even defiant, it’s taking its toll on her. Erika recently admitted, “This has been the darkest part of my life. Just the most desperate, most afraid I’ve ever been in my life. Most unsure, most volatile. I’ve been angry, I’ve been sad, I’ve been happy, I’ve been everything. And it’s really challenged me to my core.”
As reported by People, that also means she’s chaining up how she feels about dating. She stated, “I’m not doing the older thing anymore.” Erika added, “I’m 50, so maybe somebody in my age range, but I’m not doing [it] anymore.”
Erika also added what she is looking for when it comes to a partner. “I love intelligent men and I like people that are confident. And I want to have fun. I would really like to have a nice conversation. I’m technically still married, so I’m in a very weird place,” she revealed.
Her divorce is on hold while Tom’s bankruptcy proceedings play out in court, so she might be waiting awhile. Either way, she doesn’t plan on sharing deltas of her love life. She added, “I’m choosing to keep my personal life a little private right now. It’s not exactly tumbleweeds, but there are some hot moments. I don’t kiss and tell, so I’m not telling.”
As for her time on RHOBH, Erika’s life spiral was front and center when it came to last season’s drama. And thanks to some leaks about the filming of season 12, it sounds like she might be in the hot seat again. She teased, “Well, everything’s not hunky-dory. Look, I’ve had a hard time. My life was turned upside down last year, and this is where I’m at and picking up the pieces.” Erika continued, “And I’ve struggled and I’ve stumbled, and I can admit that, and I can go on with my life. Actually watching me rebuild my life. And some days I wish you weren’t watching rebuild my life, but it’s true. It’s what happens.”
She then concluded, “I’m human. I’m here to tell my story, and it’s not always perfect.”

G’Day Mates! The new spinoff of Bravo’s Below Deck is almost here, and I for one couldn’t be more excited. Entitled Below Deck Down Under, it’s set in the Great Barrier Reef and Whitsunday Islands- both off Australia’s coastline. Which, if you think about it, totally makes sense. Afterall, how many stews and deckhands have we seen whose home country is Australia?
There’s Below Deck Mediterranean‘s hostess with the mostess Hannah Ferrier. (Whose firing I’m still pressed about). Below Deck Season 8 was home to fellow Aussies, Francesca Rubi, Ashling Lorger and Izzy Wouters. Alli Dore of last seasons Below Deck Sailing Yacht also hails from the land down under, but her return doesn’t make much sense as she just had a baby.
We won’t be seeing any of those ladies anytime soon. However, Aesha Scott of Below Deck Med Season 4 & 5 will be returning. In her words, “I’m the Chief Stew now, bitches!” I guess Ashling didn’t get the chief job after all. Ouch. Well, there’s always Survivor.
Aesha was always a favorite of mine. Girlfriend was sarcastic, realistic, and staunchly in Hannah‘s corner. Her boatmance with Jack Stirrup was super cute while it lasted. That is, before he went back to his old girlfriend and had a baby with her. While Aesha thought they were together, I might add. Not a good look Jack. Not a good look.
According to E! News, the new spinoff will be coming to Peacock with the first three episodes on March 17. Squeee! Not only that, but Aesha will be part of what looks to be the most attractive Below Deck cast of yachties we’ve ever seen. Including an all-new young Captain, Jason Chambers, who in the words of one of the stew’s is just “hawght.”
Captain Jason and Aesha are joined by Chef Ryan McKeown and Bosun Jamie Sayed. Joining Jamie in the exterior are deckhands Ben Crawley, Culver Bradbury, and Brittini Burton. Rounding out the crew will be stews Tumi Mhlongo and Magda Ziomek.
I’m excited to watch Captain Jason Chambers piloting a brand-new (to me) yacht, the Thalassa, all around Australia. It looks like we are in for lots of underwater adventures, plenty of crew drama, and crazy guests. Sharks and mullets and towels! Oh my!
And, unlike the last season of Sailing Yacht, it looks like we will be losing a crew member. At least if the words of Captain Jason are anything to go by. “I’m gonna terminate your employment today,” he is stonily shown saying. Let’s go!

Married At First Sight stars Amani Aliyya and Woody Randall were fan favorites after they wed as strangers during Season 11. Amani works with a non-profit, while Woody is a high school teacher and coach. And, may I add, a flashy dresser.
The couple tied the knot in New Orleans and is one of the two couples from that season that are still married. This MAFS duo exhibited sizzling chemistry during their wedding reception, and it just grew from there. Of course, there were some bumps in the road to happily ever after. Woody lost his wedding ring in the pool during their honeymoon. Kudos to Amani for not losing her mind.
On decision day, Woody told his wife that he never dreamed that he could have a marriage like this, and he wanted to stay married. When it was Amani’s turn to speak, she dropped the news that she wanted a divorce. Thankfully, it was a joke.
The couple’s loving remarks to each other moved the show’s experts, Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Dr. Viviana Coles, and Pastor Calvin Roberson to tears. And at the reunion, Woody melted my heart when he gave Amani a new wedding ring, so that she would have one that was from him.
E! News reported that Woody and Amani are expecting their first baby. “We’re so blessed to be able to embark on this journey of parenthood as we celebrate our second anniversary together. We found out I was pregnant after I was about eight weeks,” Amani said in a statement. “I had been feeling pretty sick after a visit to Los Angeles for filming for the MAFS Boston Special. I assumed it was food poisoning from ahi tuna, but Woody hoped I was expecting.”
Amani took a pregnancy test which came back negative. She was still feeling ill, so Woody suggested she take another test. It was positive.
Amani explained, “I reluctantly took another test one Saturday morning and yelled for him to come in the bathroom. He smiled and said, ‘What, are you pregnant?’ I nodded and handed him the positive pregnancy test. He smiled so big!” the mom-to-be added.
Woody posted a video on Instagram to celebrate his anniversary with Amani, and their baby. The pregnancy photos were beautiful. “Everyday of this journey has been well worth it. I’m looking forward to these next steps sweets,” Woody wrote. “Love you, and my lil baby.”
Amani shared a sweet post on her Instagram. She posted a maternity photo, along with the caption, “Today makes 24 months I’ve been married to the love of my life, Woodrow Randall. The biggest gift of all is being 24 weeks pregnant with the new love of our life,” Amani wrote. “Baby Randall coming June 2022! #therandallway #therandallwayplusone #babyloading #blacklove.”
The parents-to-be were showered with congratulatory comments from their MAFS family. “Aww!! Congrats!!! This is gorgeous!! So happy for y’all!!” Deonna McNeill said.
Ashley Petta from Season 5 commented, “Omg yay! Congrats!” Stephanie Sersen wrote, “Aww wow huge congrats! And how’d you keep this a secret for so long!? Impressed!!”
Pastor Cal posted, “Wow!!! Congratulations. So proud of you both and immensely happy for your journey and the new little Randall! Blessings!”
There has been a baby boom lately among the MAFS cast. In February of 2021, Greg Okotie and Deonna welcomed a son, Declan, into the world. The couple appeared on Season 9 of MAFS.
Anthony D’Amico and Ashley were married in Chicago during Season 5. Ashley gave birth to their second daughter, Vaeda Marie, in February of 2021. Season 10 cast members Jessica Studer and Austin Hurd welcomed a son, Westin Paul, in November of 2021.
