Erika Jayne Announces The Release Date For Her First Memoir
I’m not going to lie, I’ve read a lot of books “written” by the Real Housewives. In all honesty, I’ll consume just about any Bravo-related content, but I’m beyond excited for Erika Jayne’s first memoir.
She was introduced to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills ladies as Erika Girardi, the wife of a lawyer thirty years older than she is, but we soon found out about her pop star alter ego Erika Jayne and fell in love with her. Even so, we don’t know that much about there. She has a carefully crafted persona and has remained a mystery for these past two seasons. The reality star announced that she had a book in the works this past July and now she has an official release date.
Erika posted a photo of the book cover called Pretty Mess on her Instagram page with the caption “#PrettyMess coming March 20, 2018! @SimonBooks.” Just in time for the end of the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
In July, Erika told E! News, “Without Erika Jayne, Erika Girardi would just be another rich bitch with a plane.” The fact that Erika is so casual about having a plane in such a casual manner is beyond intriguing to me. I want to know more about how she became the woman that the RHOBH fandom adores today.
Erika also said, “I hope my intimate story can inspire readers to become their own strong, confident and vibrant pretty messes.”
Publisher Jennifer Bergstrom told E! News, “This book proves why Erika Jayne is a fan favorite: She’s fun and she’s fearless—and for the first time, she’s here to tell all.” I’m so here for this. I want to know everything beyond Erika’s on stage persona and perfectly quotable one-liners.

Real Housewives Of Dallas Casting News: Who’s Coming Back Next Season?
Season 2 of Real Housewives of Dallas was better than anyone expected. The reunion just aired and the fandom is already looking forward to Season 3. I really feel like they fixed all the issues from the very forgettable Season 1 and got the perfect cast this time around.
With that said, I feel like the adage “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” applies to the cast of RHOD, but apparently the people behind the show are looking to shake things up for next year.
An article from D Magazine reports the news that they are already working on Real Housewives of Dallas Season 3. The article emphasized, “We also want to make something clear: no one is getting replaced here, so everyone can relax about that. This is just what we hear!” Thank god. I don’t think they should get rid of anyone.
Anyone who watches the show knows that it’s LeeAnne Locken, D’Andra Simmons, and Kameron Westcott on one side and Brandi Redmond, Stephanie Hollman, and Cary Deuber on the other. Yes, it does seem like some women from both cliques are friendkly, but there is definitely an obvious division there. Ideally, they need a woman who can bridge that has ties to the two distinct groups in the cast, preventing an RHOC-like divide.
According to D Magazine, the casting agent is looking for “outgoing, exciting, strong, focused women… who want to share their lives.” What else are they looking for? Women who are “lively and energetic, with defined opinions and views.”
And of course, there’s that much-talked-about Dallas social scene. A woman who is “involved with the community, has a strong work ethic, and an active social calendar.”

Danielle Staub Addresses Dolores Catania’s Drug Accusations, Siggy Flicker’s Hormone Pellets & Her Love For Margaret Josephs
Like carbon monoxide, Danielle Staub is the silent killer of this season’s Real Housewives Of New Jersey. She might not be a full time Housewife, and she might not be screaming in anyone’s face (yet), but she is certainly here to play. In her blog, Danielle addresses each of her cast mates, sharing her reaction to their behavior thus far on the series, and specifically who might be lying – cough, cough, Dolores Catania.
First, Danielle praises Teresa Giudice’s connection with her family, especially with her dad in the wake of his mourning. “It’s sweet seeing the connection you and your dad have. You are so good with him, Teresa. Honestly, it’s heartbreaking to hear his pain. Although you are heartbroken as well, you remain so empathetic to your dad while going through your own emotions. I personally think you’re doing an amazing job!”
Danielle also appreciates Teresa’s alliance friendship, which is being tested by the allegations Danielle is making about Dolores. She writes, “I appreciate you recognizing that I’m showing you how important you are to me by ‘putting in the work.’ That’s how friendships grow. It only takes a moment to make someone’s day, and I take time to make sure those that I love know how important they are to me.”
As for Melissa Gorga, well, there’s not much to say! But Danielle does praise her family dynamic, which seems like Melissa’s sole storyline lately. “Love your family dynamic. You are such a voice of reason. You handled the situation with your daughter and Joey so well—I applaud you. The advice you gave your hubby to spend time with Antonia was spot-on, and it was endearing to watch them together. Father and daughter relationships should all try to mirror what they have. You are a good mommy, honey.”
Margaret Josephs is also on Danielle’s BFF list – pigtails and all! However, Danielle does want to clear things up about her feelings on Dolores and her ex-husband, Frank. She writes to Margaret, “I know you already know this because I don’t ‘judge,’ so with that said, I was not judging Dolores and Frank. Dolores made it the world’s business by announcing that Frank had moved back in after 18 years (cough). I was merely following up and asking, ‘How does it work?’ Ex-husband, new boyfriend, Dolores, and the kids—all under the marital roof? OK, now that I’ve cleared that up, you know I love you to the moon and back, Margaret!”

Okay, enough with the niceties! Moving on to Dolores, Danielle has a lot to say. She addresses Dolores at length in her blog, “You have spewed your venom at me for weeks now. I know it must be frustrating to be called out to answer for your behavior, but you only have yourself to blame. If you hadn’t denied speaking to me about Teresa, you’d be feeling pretty good about now. Instead, you lied about the conversation ever taking place, and now you’re creating all kinds of backlash for yourself by further embellishing your character and chewing on me like a dog with a bone! I am totally confident because I have experienced liars like yourself, one of which you are still very chatty with. Even though she has deeply hurt our friend Teresa, you still hang out with her. In what parallel universe is that being a good or ‘LOYAL’ friend to someone? No one gets this upset over something they ‘did not’ (operative) say or do. Perhaps you should learn how to first start telling the truth about your—maybe it’s best to save the rest for the couch!”
Danielle continues, “On the friendship note, the way you spoke about Teresa and Joe’s marriage to Siggy was not nice—shame on you! Careful dear, you’re showing your true colors! BTW, you got mad at me when I asked about your living situation, saying ‘it’s none of your f—ing business!’ Well, sugar pie, you made it everyone’s business when you announced it to the world on the show that Frank was moving back in. If you don’t want people to ask about your private business, then I suggest you stop telling us about it.” YIKES! So…Danielle and Dolores are not headed for reconciliation then, huh?
Ending with Siggy Flicker, Danielle pokes fun at her butt pellets. She jokes, “I want pellets! But quick question: does this make you on drugs…in Dolores’ eyes? And when exactly does this revolutionary technique actually kick in so that all of us can witness it? Inquiring minds want to know…”

Porsha Williams Talks Kandi Burruss Tension, NeNe Leakes Wanting Her Fired & More On The Jenny McCarthy Show
Season ten of The Real Housewives Of Atlanta is already bringing the drama, and we’re only two weeks in! With cast members forming alliances based on old wounds, plus boomeranging housewives NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak-Biermann back to liven things up, Porsha Williams is ready to rumble. But the new post-anger-management-Porsha says her go-to move this year is standing still while the storm rages around her.
Porsha visited The Jenny McCarthy Show on SiriusXM Stars this week to talk about her feelings on NeNe’s return, why Kandi Burruss mocking her “medical condition” shocked her, and whether she’s talked to Shaedra Phaedra Parks recently. Also – Porsha explains why megaphones still trigger her to this day! Kenya Moore’s props department is on notice, we presume.
Even though it was Frick who lured Frack into her web of lies (according to Frack), Porsha says she still loves Phaedra. While they haven’t been close since the false rape accusations came to light last year, Porsha does admit they’ve talked several times. She tells Jenny, “It’s taken me awhile to process my feelings and emotions about Phaedra and the whole situation. But guess what – through all of that, I have still loved her.”
Although their communication has only been surface-level thus far, Porsha hopes “one day it could be more.” Asked whether she’s forgiven Phaedra for lying to her, Porsha admits, “Yes, and time has done that.”
She also empathizes with Phaedra because after all, Porsha was also involved in the mess. Porsha says she takes accountability for her part in it and wants forgiveness herself, so she has to grant it to others as well. “I want to always be open. Nobody’s perfect. If you close yourself off to hearing another person because they’ve wronged you, you will never heal.”
Someone who seems closed off to Porsha right now is Kandi, the victim of Phaedra’s schemes – with Porsha acting as henchman. Porsha admits she was shocked watching the first few episodes of the season because she thought Kandi was on the road to forgiveness.
She comments, “When I watched the show last night, I realized hey – you’re actually being hateful with your friends and your crew about me once again, just making heartless comments about an illness that I’ve suffered with for years.” Porsha describes a blood pressure condition that requires airline accommodations – something that Kandi was side-eyeing when she used it as an excuse not to attend her ex friend Shamea Morton’s wedding in Africa. Porsha claims the issue has landed her in the hospital “at least six different times,” so she didn’t appreciate the snark.

Porsha also did not appreciate NeNe saying she thinks RHOA should fire her (on a WWHL interview earlier this year). Although Porsha used to think of NeNe as a big sister, she also didn’t like when NeNe commented on her violent outbursts at a reunion two years ago. Porsha claims a “real” sister would have given this advice behind closed doors. Now she tells Jenny, “Before we even go back and talk about two years ago, let’s talk about why you were so vicious in this interview with Andy. I care about you NeNe, girl, and I want to know why the hell you would try to tear me down after building me up!”
Porsha does admit that she and NeNe are in a better place these days, despite their rough start this season. As for her PTSD over Kenya’s dollar store props back in the days of reunions gone wacko, Porsha jokes that she is still triggered by the thought of megaphones! She laughs, “See, the megaphone – you could be sitting away from me and still be screaming at me? That’s a trigger! I’m still healing.”
